AllTheModium guide for All the Mods 11 0.1.0 to 0.9.0-beta

AllTheModium adds the metals allthemodium, vibranium and unobtainium, plus smithing templates, armor and tools made from them. It was made by the ATM Team and thevortexFoxTopia. This pack ships version 4.0.7.^[1][2]

Each metal has its own ingots and its own smithing templates, and you find them in different dangerous places: the Deep Dark, the Ancient City, the Nether and the End.^[1]

How the tiers are obtained

• Allthemodium: the ingots are found on the walls and ceiling of a Deep Dark. The smithing templates come from Suspicious Clay in an Ancient City, and you need a brush to sift it.^[1]
• Vibranium: you need AllTheModium quality tools or better to mine it. The ore sits in the Nether near the ceiling at high Y levels, not near the floor, and the project page points you to the Crimson Forest or Warped Forest biomes. The templates come from sifting Suspicious Soul Sand in a Treasure Bastion Remnant.^[1]
• Unobtainium: the templates are found in a dungeon in The Other. Look for the library room with 2 spawners in 2 corners and loot all of its chests, or do the trial spawner. The ingots are found in the End Highlands and are very rare.^[1]

Welcome to AllTheModium! This mod adds allthemodium, vibranium and unobtainium, plus the smithing templates, armor and tools that go with them. Everything here follows one chain, so the order you do things in matters. No quests in this pack cover the mod, so this page is your map.^[1]

Step 1: Find your first Allthemodium

Your first target is the Allthemodium Ingot. The mod's project page says you find it in a Deep Dark, on the walls and the ceiling. Go in prepared, because this is where the whole chain starts.^[1][3]

The pack also has a crafting recipe for the ingot, and a separate one that turns a Block of Allthemodium back into ingots. Here is the ingot recipe as the pack has it:^[3]

Step 2: Get a smithing template

The Allthemodium Smithing Template is what the mod's armor and tools are built around. The project page says you find it in an Ancient City, inside Suspicious Clay in the Basalt, and you need a brush to sift the clay. The pack also has a crafting recipe for it:^[1][3]

Looking ahead to vibranium and unobtainium

Don't rush to vibranium. The project page says to get Allthemodium-quality tools or better before you try to mine it. The ore is in the Nether, up near the ceiling at high Y levels, and the page points you to the Crimson Forest or Warped Forest biomes. It calls the Warped Forest the safer one to explore.^[1]

For the vibranium smithing template, the page says to find a Treasure Bastion Remnant and sift Suspicious Soul Sand. Unobtainium is the end of the road. Its ingots are found in the End Highlands and are described as very rare. Its template comes from a dungeon in The Other, in a library room with 2 spawners in 2 corners, where you loot all the chests or do the trial spawner.^[1]

Unverified The locations above come from the mod's project page. I could not confirm them against this pack's world generation, so a structure or ore may sit somewhere different, or be rarer or more common, than the page says.

Here's the honest picture, so you don't go hunting for something that isn't there. The mod's project page describes it as an items mod: allthemodium, vibranium and unobtainium, plus smithing templates, armor and tools. The sources I have don't describe any machines, multiblocks, power, fluid or item-handling systems for it. If you're looking for automation setups, this mod doesn't give me anything to explain.^[1]

Crafting the basic materials

Everything I can confirm about how the mod works in this pack is crafting. The pack has crafting-table recipes for Allthemodium Ingot (shaped), for turning a Block of Allthemodium back into an ingot (shapeless), and for splitting an ingot into an Allthemodium Nugget (shapeless).^[3]

Allthemodium Dust has two shapeless crafting recipes, one listed as hammering an ingot and one as crushing ore. The recipe dump doesn't show their inputs, so check JEI for what each one needs.^[3]

The project page says the mod's upgrade path runs through smithing templates, with separate templates for allthemodium, vibranium and unobtainium. The pack also has a shaped crafting recipe for the Allthemodium Smithing Template.^[1][3]

The page describes where the templates can be found. The allthemodium one comes from Suspicious Clay in an Ancient City, which you sift with a brush. The vibranium one comes from sifting Suspicious Soul Sand in a Treasure Bastion Remnant. The unobtainium one comes from a dungeon library room or a trial spawner in The Other. That page is the mod's own description, so treat these as the mod's intended routes. I can't confirm that the pack changed none of them.^[1]

Quests

Unverified The sources here show no quest chapter that covers AllTheModium, and the mod is not on the ATM Star quest path, so the pack's quest book gives no tier path for it that I can describe.

In this pack, AllTheModium connects with two other mods, Productive Trees and Productive Bees. Both links come from recipes, and they cover different things: one gives you the wooden planks, the other gives you the metal nuggets.^[3]

Productive Trees: sawdust into AllTheModium planks

The pack adds sawmill recipes that turn Sawdust into three AllTheModium wood types: Ancient Planks, Demonic Planks and Soul Planks. Each wood type has several sawmill recipes, and they all take sawdust as the input.^[3]

These recipes are added by the pack, so you won't find them in the mods' default behavior. Here is one example for each wood type.^[3]
