What is Pam's HarvestCraft - Food Core?
Pam's HarvestCraft - Food Core is part of the pack, and this pack ships version 1.0.0 of it. The jar is built for NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.0. It has been in the pack since version 1.4 or earlier.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what Food Core adds, such as its items, mechanics or config options. They also don't show where it fits in the pack's progression, so I'm not guessing. The sources don't show any quests or ATM Star path involvement for it either.
For now, treat this page as a confirmation that the mod is installed and which version you get. Check in-game item tooltips and recipe viewers for what it actually adds in this pack.[1]
How do you get started with Pam's HarvestCraft - Food Core?
5 parts
Pam's HarvestCraft - Food Core adds a big kitchen full of food, and in this pack it all runs through crafting-grid recipes. The recipes shown are shapeless, so layout doesn't matter. Each one also includes a kitchen tool as an ingredient, such as a pot, skillet, cutting board or bakeware. Most ingredient slots accept any item from a shared tag, so you have some flexibility in what you put in.[2]
Start with the simple foods
Begin with recipes that need only one or two ingredients plus a tool. Boiled Egg is about as simple as it gets, and it's a good way to learn how the tool slot works.[2]
Turn milk into your staples
Milk is the starting point for several useful basics. Butter, Cheese and Caramel are all made from it. All three show up as ingredients in later foods, so they are worth making early.[2]

- any tool saucepan
- any sugar

Make batter
Batter is the ingredient behind a lot of the baking. The recipes for donuts, muffins and cakes in the sources use it, for example Apple Muffin, Carrot Cake and Cheese Cake.[2]

Get cooking oil
Donuts need Cooking Oil. In this pack it is crafted from canola, and the recipe is registered under the pamhc2crops namespace rather than this mod's own. So you'll want a canola source before you start on donuts.[2]
Move on to full meals
Once the basics are in your chest, try the bigger recipes. Basic Hamburger and the other basic sandwiches use a skillet. Apple Juice and Chocolate Bar are short recipes that feed into other dishes.[2]

Unverified The shown recipes don't include how to craft the kitchen tools themselves, or ingredients like flour, dough and ground meats, so this guide can't confirm how to make them. Check the recipe viewer in game for those. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does Pam's HarvestCraft - Food Core work?
3 parts
Good news if you're expecting power cables and multiblocks: the recipes I can see for this mod don't use any. In this pack, Food Core is a pure crafting-table mod. Every recipe in the visible part of the dump is a shapeless crafting recipe, so you can drop the ingredients into the grid in any arrangement.[2]
Kitchen tools are part of the recipe
The key mechanic is that almost every dish needs a kitchen tool in the grid alongside the food. The tool types in the recipes include a pot, skillet, cutting board, mixing bowl, bakeware, juicer and saucepan. Your tool choice depends on the dish. For example, Boiled Egg and Butter both call for the pot, while Apple Juice calls for the juicer.[2]
Recipes ask for item groups (tags) rather than one fixed item. That means any item in the right group works, such as any egg, any milk or any flour. Whichever version you have on hand will do.[2]
Intermediate ingredients
Many dishes are built from other Food Core items, so you'll craft in stages. Batter is the base for things like Apple Muffin and Apple Donut. Apple Juice feeds into Apple Jelly, and that in turn goes into Apple Jelly Toast.[2]

Batter is the base for muffins and donuts.
Cooking Oil is the one visible exception to the naming pattern. Its recipe comes from the crops companion mod rather than Food Core, and it uses a roller tool in the same way as the other recipes.[2]
Sandwiches and burgers
The basic burgers and sandwiches follow one shared pattern: bread, condiments, a ground meat and a skillet. Only the ground meat changes. Beef, chicken, fish, mutton, pork and rabbit each have their own version, for example Basic Hamburger and Basic Chicken Sandwich. Basic Veggie Burger uses vegetables in place of the ground meat. Basic Cheeseburger adds cheese, and Bacon Cheeseburger adds raw pork on top of that.[2]
Unverified The sources don't say whether kitchen tools are used up when you craft, or whether they come back to you with some durability loss. Check this in-game before you rely on it.
Unverified 195 recipes weren't included in the dump, and no config files or guidebook were available. I can't confirm whether Food Core adds any machines, multiblocks, power or fluid handling beyond the crafting-table recipes described here.
How do you progress through Pam's HarvestCraft - Food Core?
4 parts
Here's the honest picture: this pack has no quests for Pam's HarvestCraft - Food Core, and I couldn't confirm any official tier system for the mod. What I can show you is how the in-pack recipes build on each other, so the tiers below are a suggested order that I worked out from those recipes, not something the pack enforces.[2]
Unverified No quest or questline in this pack involves this mod, and it isn't on the ATM Star path. Any progression below comes only from how the recipes depend on each other.
Kitchen tools gate everything
Every recipe I could see is a shapeless crafting recipe that needs a kitchen tool from a tool tag. The tags include a pot, saucepan, cutting board, mixing bowl, bakeware, skillet, juicer, grinder and roller. Sort out your tools first, because nothing in this mod can be made without one.[2]
Tier 1: base ingredients
Start with the building blocks that the fancier foods lean on. Butter, Cheese and Cream come from milk. Cocoa Powder and Chocolate Bar come from cocoa beans. Caramel comes from milk and sugar.[2]
Crafting Shapeless

Cooking oil is needed for the donuts. Nuts work too, and the crops add-on also has a canola recipe.
Tier 2: single-step foods
Once you have the base items, a lot of food is one craft away. Dough leads to pies such as Apple Pie and to Carrot Bread. Batter leads to muffins and cakes such as Chocolate Cake, and with cooking oil it leads to donuts such as Chocolate Donut. Juicers and mixing bowls give you drinks like Apple Juice and Chocolate Milk.[2]
Crafting Shapeless

- any sugar
- any milk

Caramel opens up caramel apples, donuts, pies and more.
Tier 3: foods built from other foods
The later recipes use products of earlier ones. Crackers and Cheese needs a cracker and cheese. Apple Jelly Toast needs jelly, which in turn needs juice. Chocolate Bacon needs a chocolate bar. Chicken Dinner needs both Fried Chicken and Mashed Potatoes.[2]

One of the deepest chains I could see in the recipes I was given.
Unverified About 145 recipes were not available to me, so I can't say whether there are deeper chains than the ones above, or how the Fried Chicken and Mashed Potatoes recipes work.
How does Pam's HarvestCraft - Food Core work with other mods?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 4.0 guide
Food Core is mostly a pile of classic comfort dishes, but in this pack those dishes don't just sit in your hunger bar. Many of them are building blocks for fancier meals from HarvestCraft's extended food recipes, a couple of HarvestCraft crops feed into Food Core items, and there's even a crossover with bees.[3]
Cooking Oil and crops
Cooking Oil is made from Canola, so it's worth planting some. Once you have oil, you can combine it with Cattail to craft a vanilla Torch, which is handy if you're short on coal early on.[3]
Food Core dishes as ingredients
This is where Food Core really pays off. A lot of its basic dishes are ingredients in bigger extended recipes, so cooking them in bulk sets you up for the fancy stuff later.[3]
- Fried Chicken goes into Chicken Biscuit, BBQ Chicken Biscuit, Chicken and Waffles, Springfield Cashew Chicken, Fried Feast and Weekend Picnic.[3]
- Basic Hamburger upgrades into Coleslaw Burger, Jalapeno Burger and Onion Hamburger, and is part of the Cookout Meal.[3]
- Hot Dog is used for Chili Dog, Slawdog and the Cookout Meal.[3]
- Fries shows up in Poutine, Steak and Chips, Chicken Tenders Meal and Delighted Meal.[3]
- Mashed Potatoes is used for Bangers and Mash, Mashed Potatoes Chicken Biscuit and Fried Feast.[3]
- Grilled Cheese leads to Homestyle Lunch and Grilled Cheese Vegemite Toast.[3]
- Potato Chips goes into Chips and Dip and Weekend Picnic.[3]
- Sunflower Seeds is used for Sunflower Broccoli Salad and Sunflower Wheat Rolls.[3]
- The sandwiches upgrade too: Basic Chicken Sandwich becomes Leafy Chicken Sandwich and Basic Fish Sandwich becomes Leafy Fish Sandwich.[3]
- A few more one-offs: Epic Bacon makes the Epic BLT, Cracker makes Crackers and Cheese, Meatloaf makes the Meatloaf Sandwich and Pickled Beets goes into the Bento Box.[3]
Here are a couple of the big combo meals, just so you can see how many Food Core dishes they pull together:[3]

Milk from bees
The pack also includes a Productive Bees recipe that turns its Milk into Food Core's Fresh Milk. That gives you another way to get milk for HarvestCraft cooking.[3]
