What is Dyenamics and Friends?
Dyenamics and Friends is part of the pack. This version of the pack ships version 1.21.1-2.2.2 of the mod. It has been in the pack since version 2.47 or earlier, so it's a long-standing part of the mod list rather than a recent addition.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what the mod adds, who it's aimed at, or where it fits into the pack's progression. I've left those details out rather than guess. No quest or ATM Star path connection is confirmed either.
How do you get started with Dyenamics and Friends?
4 parts
Dyenamics and Friends adds Dyenamics-colored versions of blocks and items from other mods, such as painted planks, botany pots, elevators, sleeping gear and foundry parts. The recipes for these in this pack were added by the pack, so follow the recipe blocks below rather than any mod defaults. The examples use amber, and aquamarine versions of many of them also appear in the pack's recipe list.[2]
Start with building blocks
Begin with the pieces you will place the most. Painted planks are a good first pick because they are also the base for the matching stairs and slabs.[2][3]

Make your base comfortable
Next come the colored sleeping gear. The Amber Sleeping Bag and the Amber Hammock both start from Dyenamics wool, so get that first.[2]

Farming and getting around
If you farm with botany pots, the pack lets you craft pots from Dyenamics terracotta, glazed terracotta or concrete. Here is the terracotta route. The glazed and concrete pots follow the same pattern, each with its own recipe.[2]

You can upgrade a finished pot instead of starting over. Separate shapeless recipes turn it into a hopper pot or a waxed pot. There is also a compact recipe that makes the hopper pot directly, skipping the plain pot.[2]

Recolor what you already have
Many items don't need a fresh build. The pack has dye recipes that recolor existing items: pumpkins, carved pumpkins, jack o'lanterns, fire bricks, and Productive Metalworks foundry parts such as tanks, drains, controllers, capacitors and windows. Create seats can also be recolored from another seat.[2]

How does Dyenamics and Friends work?
3 parts
Here's the honest picture for this one: the sources don't show Dyenamics and Friends bringing its own machines, multiblocks or power system. What they show is a compatibility add-on that gives blocks from other mods amber-dyed variants, so that's what I can walk you through.[2][3]
Foundry parts
The mod adds amber versions of the Productive Metalworks foundry parts: Amber Foundry Controller, Amber Foundry Tank, Amber Foundry Drain, Amber Foundry Capacitor, Amber Foundry Window and Amber Fire Bricks. The pack adds a recipe for each one, and the controller and tank recipes are shown below.[2]

How the foundry is laid out, how it handles fluids and what the capacitor does are not covered by the sources I have for this mod.[2]
Botany pots
Botany pots come in amber concrete and amber glazed terracotta styles. Each style has a plain pot, a hopper pot and a waxed pot, for example Amber Concrete Botany Pot, Amber Concrete Hopper Botany Pot and Amber Concrete Waxed Botany Pot. The pack adds recipes for the hopper and waxed versions, shown below for the concrete style.[2]

Other dyed variants
- Amber Elevator is crafted in the pack from amber wool and an ender pearl.[2]
- Amber Hammock, Amber Kitchen Floor and Amber Petrified Honey are also added, with their recipes shown below.[2]
- Amber Carved Pumpkin is made from amber dye and any carved pumpkin. Amber Jack o'Lantern can be made from that carved pumpkin plus a torch, or from amber dye plus any jack o'lantern.[2]
- The language file also lists painted planks and stairs for Regions Unexplored woods, with slabs for some colors, such as Aquamarine Painted Slab.[3]
- A chalk box item has a tooltip saying it works with Dyenamics dyes.[3]

Unverified This mod has no config files in the pack and no in-jar guidebook, and the sources here do not show how hopper botany pots move items, what waxing does, how elevators travel, or whether any of these blocks handle power, fluids or automation beyond their host mods.
How do you progress through Dyenamics and Friends?
4 parts
Dyenamics and Friends has no tiers of its own. In this pack it adds dyed variants of blocks from other mods, such as botany pots, seats, hammocks and foundry parts. The recipes shown for amber and aquamarine were all added by the pack. How far along you are depends on the mod each block belongs to, so this section groups the items by type instead.[2]
Unverified The sources here show no quests in this pack that involve this mod, and the mod is not on the ATM Star quest path, so there is no quest chapter order to follow for it.
Comfort and decoration
The Amber Sleeping Bag, the Amber Hammock and the Amber Seat each have their own recipe below. The seat also has a recipe for turning an existing seat into the dyed one. The aquamarine versions follow the same pattern.[2]

Foundry parts and elevators
The Productive Metalworks recolors are dye-swap recipes. You combine a dye with a foundry block you already have, such as the Amber Foundry Controller, tank, drain, window or capacitor. Fire bricks can be dyed too. Since the recipe needs the original foundry block, you have to be far enough into that mod to have one before these matter.[2]

How does Dyenamics and Friends work with other mods?
4 parts
Dyenamics and Friends is the glue between Dyenamics colors and other mods. It adds dyed versions of items from several mods under its own namespace, and in this pack the recipes for them are added by the pack itself. Here is what connects to what.[2]
Botany pots
You can make Dyenamics-colored botany pots from the matching terracotta, glazed terracotta or concrete plus a flower pot. Each material comes as a plain pot and as a hopper pot, which also needs a hopper. For example, Amber Botany Pot and Amber Hopper Botany Pot are built around Amber Terracotta. The recipes in the sources cover Amber and Aquamarine, and Aquamarine follows the same pattern.[2]

Connecting glass
This is the widest integration. The pack adds colored versions of Connecting Glass and Connecting Glass Pane for Dyenamics colors. The glass colors covered are Amber, Aquamarine, Bubblegum, Cherenkov, Conifer, Fluorescent, Honey, Icy Blue, Lavender, Maroon, Mint and Navy, each with a block and a pane. Every block and pane has two recipes: one starts from the matching Dyenamics stained glass, and the other starts from the plain connecting glass plus the matching dye.[2]
