What is Dyenamics and Friends?
Dyenamics and Friends is part of the pack as version 1.21.1-2.1.6, shipped as the file dyenamicsandfriends-1.21.1-2.1.6.jar. It has been in the pack for a long time, since version 2.47 or earlier.[1]
Unverified What the mod adds, who it is best suited for, and any pack-specific changes to its recipes or configs could not be confirmed. No platform description or in-jar guidebook was available, so this page doesn't describe its items or mechanics.
Unverified No quests in this pack were found that involve this mod, and it does not appear to be on the ATM Star quest path. You shouldn't need it to make progress there, but this is based on the absence of data, not on a source that says so.
How do you get started with Dyenamics and Friends?
4 parts
Dyenamics and Friends doesn't add a new machine or a progression chain. It adds extra dyed variants of items from other mods in the pack: sleeping bags, Create seats, elevators, foundry parts, kitchen floors, connecting glass and painted planks. Every recipe in this section was added by the pack, so follow these rather than the mod's defaults.[2][3]
I'm using Amber and Aquamarine as the examples, because their recipes are shown in the sources. Bubblegum connecting glass panes appear in the recipes too. The painted planks also come in many other colors, such as Cherenkov, Lavender and Ultramarine. I can't confirm the other colors' recipes beyond that.[2][3]
Step 1: Get your dye and wool
Nearly everything here starts with a dye from the matching color tag or with the colored wool. The sleeping bag, seat and elevator all use Amber Wool or the Aquamarine equivalent. The planks, glass and machine blocks use any dye of that color. Craft those first so the rest is quick.[2]
Step 2: Painted planks, slabs and stairs
Painted planks are a good build material to start with. You combine a matching dye with any planks, then turn the result into slabs and stairs.[2]

Step 3: Comfort and travel
Next, make a Amber Sleeping Bag straight from the colored wool. Your base will look better and you'll have a bed ready.[2]

The Amber Elevator uses the same wool plus an ender pearl. Seats for your Create builds can be made from wool and any wooden slab.[2]

Finally: Recolor your machines and glass
Once your base is running, you can recolor blocks you already have. The foundry parts (controller, tank, drain, capacitor and window) and fire bricks are shapeless dye recipes. Combine the dye with the matching uncolored part. The Amber Kitchen Floor is made from a white kitchen floor and the dye, and Amber Petrified Honey from Petrified Honey and the dye.[2]

For connecting glass, you can craft it from a Dyenamics stained glass or from plain connecting glass plus the dye. A pane can be made from the matching stained glass pane, from connecting glass pane plus dye, or from the connecting glass block.[2]

How does Dyenamics and Friends work?
4 parts
In this pack, the sources show Dyenamics and Friends as a set of dyed variants of blocks from other mods, made with Dyenamics colours. The sources describe no machines, multiblocks or power of its own for the mod, so there is nothing to wire up here. How a dyed block behaves once placed is covered by the original block it is based on.[2][3]
The recipes below use Amber as the example. The recipe dump also shows matching Aquamarine recipes, and the language file lists painted planks in many more colours. Every recipe shown here is marked as added by the pack.[2][3]
Foundry parts
Productive Metalworks foundry parts can be recoloured. You combine an amber dye with any block from the matching foundry tag. That gives you the Amber Foundry Controller, Amber Foundry Tank, Amber Foundry Drain, Amber Foundry Capacitor and Amber Foundry Window. Each of these is a shapeless recipe.[2]

The other foundry parts follow the same dye-plus-tag pattern.
Fire bricks get both a shaped recipe and a shapeless recipe. Each takes an amber dye and any block from the fire bricks tag, and each gives Amber Fire Bricks. The Aquamarine versions follow the same pattern, giving Aquamarine Fire Bricks.[2]
Elevators and seats
The Amber Elevator is crafted from Amber Wool and an ender pearl. The Aquamarine Elevator works the same way with Aquamarine Wool. Both are shaped recipes.[2]

Amber Wool and an ender pearl make the Amber Elevator in this pack.
For Create seats there are different routes to the Amber Seat. You can craft it shapelessly from Amber Wool and any wooden slab. Or you can recolour any existing seat from the Create seats tag with an amber dye.[2]

Decor blocks
- The Amber Kitchen Floor is made from a standard Kitchen Floor and an amber dye, in a shaped recipe.[2]
- The Amber Petrified Honey is made shapelessly from Petrified Honey and an amber dye.[2]
- The Amber Sleeping Bag is crafted from Amber Wool alone, in a shaped recipe.[2]
- The Amber Painted Planks come from an amber dye and any planks. The Amber Painted Slab and Amber Painted Stairs are then crafted from those painted planks.[2]
Chalk box
The language file includes a chalk box tooltip that reads "This one works with Dyenamics dyes". It is the only tooltip text for this mod in the sources, and it describes no further mechanics.[3]
How do you progress through Dyenamics and Friends?
3 parts
Dyenamics and Friends has no tiers in the usual sense. It doesn't add machines or a power curve. It adds extra Dyenamics colors to blocks from other mods, so your progression here is really the progression of those other mods. This section just shows you where the dyed versions fit in.[2]
Unverified No quests in this pack are confirmed to involve this mod, and it isn't confirmed to be on the main quest path. Treat the stages below as a suggested order based on the recipes, not as quest steps.
Stage 1: Dyed basics
The pack adds recipes for early comfort and building items in the new colors. The sources show these for Amber and Aquamarine: Amber Sleeping Bag, Amber Seat, Amber Painted Planks and the matching slab and stairs. Aquamarine versions of all of these exist too.[2]

Stage 2: Recoloring blocks you already have
Many entries take a block from another mod and turn it into a colored version. That covers Amber Kitchen Floor, Amber Petrified Honey and the connecting stained glass, such as Connecting Amber Stained Glass. There is also a recipe that recolors an existing seat into Amber Seat. Because you need the original block first, you unlock these as you progress in the mod that owns it.[2]

The connecting glass has more colors than Amber and Aquamarine. The visible recipes also include Bubblegum, Cherenkov, Conifer and Fluorescent, and each color has recipes for both the full block and the pane. The recipe list I was given is cut off, so there may be more colors than I can confirm.[2]
Stage 3: Foundry parts and utility blocks
The latest-stage items here are the colored foundry pieces. The sources show colored fire bricks, a controller, a tank, a drain, a window and a capacitor, for example Amber Foundry Controller and Amber Fire Bricks. Each is made by dyeing the matching foundry part, so you need to have reached the foundry first. The colors are purely cosmetic. The sources don't show any change in how these parts work.[2]

There is also a colored elevator, Amber Elevator, with an Aquamarine version.[2]

How does Dyenamics and Friends work with other mods?
2 parts
Dyenamics and Friends is the part of the pack that carries the extra Dyenamics dye colors over to other mods. Its item ids start with the name of the mod they connect to, such as connectedglass_, create_, comforts_, cookingforblockheads_, elevatorid_ and productivebees_. Every recipe below was added by the pack.[2]
Connecting glass
This is the biggest link by far. The pack adds connecting versions of the Dyenamics stained glass and glass panes, such as Connecting Amber Stained Glass and Connecting Amber Stained Glass Pane. Most colors have one recipe starting from the Dyenamics stained glass and a second starting from the base connecting glass, so you can pick whichever route suits what you have on hand. Amber is shown here as the example, and the other colors follow the same naming pattern.[2]

Seats, sleeping bags, floors, elevators and honey
Beyond glass, the sources show Dyenamics colors reaching several other kinds of items, with amber and aquamarine as the colors listed.[2]
- Amber Seat: a seat item with the create_ prefix.[2]
- Amber Sleeping Bag: a sleeping bag item with the comforts_ prefix.[2]
- Amber Kitchen Floor: an amber version of the Kitchen Floor.[2]
- Amber Elevator: an elevator item with the elevatorid_ prefix.[2]
- Amber Petrified Honey: an amber version of Petrified Honey.[2]

What changed in Dyenamics and Friends between versions?
Here's how Dyenamics and Friends has moved through the pack's releases. The pack changelogs only record version bumps for this mod, so they don't say what changed inside each update.[4][5][6]
- All the Mods 10 2.47: Dyenamics and Friends was added to the pack at version 1.21.1-2.1.1.[6]
- All the Mods 10 4.3: updated from 1.21.1-2.1.1 to 1.21.1-2.1.2.[5]
- All the Mods 10 4.5: updated from 1.21.1-2.1.2 to 1.21.1-2.1.6, which is the version you get in this pack.[1][4]
The 4.5 mod list confirms the shipped file is dyenamicsandfriends-1.21.1-2.1.6.jar.[1]
Unverified The mod's own changelogs for the shipped jars are not stored, so the sources here do not show what versions 2.1.2 through 2.1.6 added or fixed. Any gameplay, recipe or dye changes between these versions are unconfirmed.
