What is Apotheosis?
2 parts
Apotheosis is all about making you stronger than ever before while still feeling true to vanilla Minecraft at heart. This pack runs version 8.4.0. The Apotheosis mod itself is the adventure module: it adds Affixes, Gems, World Tiers and everything else you need for RPG-style gear progression, without it taking over the game.[1][2]
Apotheosis is part of a family of mods, and it requires the other three to run. Apothic Attributes adds the new attributes and potion effects. Apothic Spawners lets you pick up and modify mob spawners. Apothic Enchanting fully overhauls the enchanting system.[1]
What you'll be doing
- Hunting affix items: any item, from vanilla or other mods, can roll affixes. Its rarity, from Common up to Mythic, decides how many bonuses it gets and how strong they are.[1][3]
- Breaking loot down at the Salvaging Table into Rarity Materials, then spending them at the Reforging Table to make your own affix items.[1][4][5]
- Socketing Gems into your gear for extra bonuses. Each gem gives different bonuses depending on the type of item it goes into.[1][6]
- Climbing the five World Tiers, from Haven to Pinnacle. Higher tiers give you better loot and some direct bonuses, but every enemy in your world gets stronger too.[1][7]
- Fighting Apothic Invaders, which start appearing from the Frontier tier. Each one carries an affix item and always drops it when you kill it.[1]
Where it fits in your progression
Apotheosis is with you from the very start. Affix items show up in loot chests and on mobs, and your World Tier decides how rare they are. The Simple Reforging Table handles items up to Rare rarity. To reforge Epic items or higher, you upgrade it into a full Reforging Table. The Summit tier only opens up after you've slain the Wither.[1][5]
At the very end sits the Augmenting Table, where you upgrade or reroll individual affixes. It costs a lot of experience and uses Sigils of Enhancement as fuel, so it's the place to perfect your build once you have near-endless resources.[1][8]
Unverified The sources don't show whether this pack changes reforging costs or World Tier unlock requirements. Modpacks are able to change both, so check in game.
How do you get started with Apotheosis?
7 parts
Apotheosis is all about affix items: gear with rarities, bonus stats and sockets, found out in the world and then improved by you. The early game is a loop. You find loot, break it down, and turn the pieces into your own upgrades. This order gets you into that loop quickly.[1][3][10][11]
The mod has an in-game guidebook, the Chronicle of Shadows, which is worth making early. Pair it with JEI whenever you want exact costs, such as gem upgrade costs.[1][12]
Find some affix items and gems
Affix items turn up in loot chests and drop from random entities in your world. Gems can also be found in chest loot, and they rarely drop from mobs. Bosses are more likely to drop them.[1][13]
The rarity of what you find depends on your World Tier. You start in Haven, which is enabled by default, though you won't see it until you've picked up your first affix item. You can open the tier screen with CTRL+T by default.[1][14][15]
Make your first Gem Dust
Gem Dust is a versatile crafting ingredient, and the recipes for the tables below all use it. Your first two dust come from crushing two gems with an anvil in the world. After that you can switch to the Salvaging Table.[1][16][17]
Craft the Salvaging Table
The Salvaging Table breaks affix items down into Rarity Materials. It also turns gems into Gem Dust, so you no longer have to crush them one by one.[4][16][17]

Each rarity gives its own material: apotheosis:common_material from Common items, apotheosis:uncommon_material from Uncommon, apotheosis:rare_material from Rare, apotheosis:epic_material from Epic and apotheosis:mythic_material from Mythic.[4][17]
Craft Gem-Fused Slate
Gem-Fused Slate is a base ingredient in this pack. Several sigils and the smithing templates are made from it, so it's worth keeping a few on hand.[17]
Set up reforging
Reforging lets you give an item brand new affixes. It works on any valid item, even one with no affixes yet. Start with the Simple Reforging Table, which handles items up to Rare rarity.[5][17]

Reforging also uses Sigil of Rebirth as fuel, alongside Rarity Materials for the rarity you want. The table offers three choices, and none is inherently stronger than the others. The extra choices cost double and triple the base price.[5][17]

Craft the Gem Cutting Table
The Gem Cutting Table upgrades gems. An upgrade usually costs Gem Dust, Rarity Materials and a second gem of the same purity. Higher purities cost more, and a Perfect gem can't be upgraded any further.[12][13][17]

To socket a gem, combine it with the item in a Smithing Table. If an item has no sockets, the Sigil of Socketing can add one. The Sigil of Withdrawal removes socketed gems, and both the item and the gems are returned.[1][13]
Later on
Once you're handling Epic gear, upgrade your Simple Reforging Table into the Reforging Table. For the end game there's the Augmenting Table, which upgrades or rerolls single affixes using Sigil of Enhancement. It's best used on Mythic items, and possibly Epic ones.[5][8][17]

How does Apotheosis work?
7 parts
The core mechanics of Apotheosis are crafting stations: you feed items into a table, spend fuel items and experience, and get a result. This section walks through each station and how items flow through them, from salvaging loot to reforging and augmenting your gear.[4][5][8][12]
Salvaging Table
The Salvaging Table breaks affix items down into Rarity Materials. Each rarity gives its own material, and those materials are the currency for the other stations.[1][4][18]
- Common affix items give apotheosis:common_material.[4][17]
- Uncommon items give apotheosis:uncommon_material.[4][17]
- Rare items give apotheosis:rare_material.[4][17]
- Epic items give apotheosis:epic_material.[4][17]
- Mythic items give apotheosis:mythic_material.[4][17]
The same table also turns gems into Gem Dust. The pack has a salvaging recipe for each gem purity (Chipped, Cracked, Flawed, Flawless, Normal and Perfect), and each one gives Gem Dust.[16][17]

Gem Cutting Table
The Gem Cutting Table upgrades gems. An upgrade usually costs Gem Dust, Rarity Materials and a second gem of the same purity. Stronger gems need more Gem Dust and higher-tier materials, and you can check the exact cost in JEI. Purity alone sets a gem's strength, and a Perfect Gem can't be upgraded any further.[12][13]

Socketing and Sigils
Gems go into items at a vanilla Smithing Table, with the item on the left and the gem on the right. Removing a socketed gem is costly, so choose carefully. Each gem states which items it fits, and Unique gems can only be socketed once per item.[13][18]
- Sigil of Socketing adds one socket to an item.[1][18]
- Sigil of Withdrawal removes all socketed gems. Combine it with the socketed item in a Smithing Table, and both the item and the gems are returned.[13][18]
- Sigil of Unnaming removes the affix components from an item's name, also in a Smithing Table.[17][18]

Reforging
Reforging gives an item brand new affixes. It works on any valid item, whether or not it already has affixes, and you can reforge the same item multiple times. The Simple Reforging Table handles items up to Rare. For Epic or higher you need to upgrade it into the Reforging Table.[5]

The table has three input slots. The item goes in the center, Rarity Materials for the rarity you want go in the top-left, and Sigil of Rebirth goes in the bottom-right as fuel.[5][17][18]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: apotheosis:sigil_of_rebirth
Like an Enchanting Table, reforging offers three choices, and none is inherently stronger. Each rarity has a base cost of experience, sigils and materials. The extra choice slots charge double and triple that base cost. Click the choice you want to reforge.[5]
Modpacks can change reforging costs or block reforging at certain rarities.[5]
Unverified The sources here include no config files for this mod, so this pack's exact reforging costs and any rarity restrictions are unverified. Check them in-game.
Augmenting Table
The Augmenting Table is an end-game station for working on one affix at a time and leaving the rest intact. The upper slot holds the affix item, which should usually be Mythic or at least Epic. The lower slot holds Sigil of Enhancement as fuel. You then pick the affix from the drop-down menu.[8]
- Upgrading costs two Sigils of Enhancement and raises the affix's internal strength by 25%. How much that helps depends on the affix.[8]
- Rerolling costs one Sigil of Enhancement and swaps the selected affix for another of the same type. The alternatives are shown on the left.[8]

Enchanting Stats
Enchanting here depends on more than your level. Each point of Eterna raises the maximum enchanting level by two. Quanta controls variance: a higher value widens the power range, so your results are less consistent. Arcana controls rarity weights, and at 25% you always get at least two enchantments, while at 75% you always get three.[19]
Clues decide how many enchantments you can preview, and Quantic Stability stops negative Quanta rolls. Blocks that provide these stats show them in their tooltips.[19]
Enchantment Library
The Enchantment Library stores enchantments as points. Insert enchanted books and every enchantment on them is stored. Each library has a Level Capacity, and excess levels are voided. The standard library has a Level Capacity of sixteen (XVI), while the Library of Alexandria has a Level Capacity of thirty-one (XXXI) and can only be made through Infusion Enchanting.[20]
Click a stored enchantment to extract one level, or shift-click to extract as many levels as possible. Books are generated in the output slot as necessary, and you can also place a book there to add enchantments to it. The library records the max level that has ever been inserted for each enchantment, and can only extract up to that level.[20]
How do you progress through Apotheosis?
4 parts
Apotheosis progression in this pack runs on World Tiers that scale the world and its loot, Enchanting Table levels that climb up to 100, and a chain of crafting stations fed by salvaged materials.[17][21][22]
Unverified The sources here show no pack quests for this mod, so the order below follows the mod's in-game guide and the in-pack recipes rather than a quest chain. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
World Tiers
A World Tier is a per-player strength modifier. It controls what content shows up, how tough enemies are and what bonuses you can get. There are five tiers, each harder and more rewarding than the last: Haven, Frontier, Ascent, Summit and Pinnacle. As you climb, higher-rarity items and Invaders become more common.[21]
Tiers are unlocked by completing advancements. These are the default requirements from the mod's guide:[14]
- Haven is enabled by default, though you won't see it until you've picked up your first Affix Item.[14]
- Frontier needs an Affix Item in each armor slot and an Affixed Weapon in either hand.[14]
- Ascent needs a full set of Uncommon Affix Items including a weapon, plus a slain Apothic Invader.[14]
- Summit needs a full set of Rare Affix Items and a slain Wither.[14]
- Pinnacle needs a full set of Epic items and a slain Ender Dragon.[14]
Enchanting Table levels
The Enchanting Table upgrades in steps, and each step asks for a new kind of shelf:[23]
- Level 30 comes the usual way, with fifteen bookshelves.[24]
- Level 45 needs Hellshelves added to your bookshelves. If you'd rather skip the Nether, Seashelves work too.[25]
- Level 60 means learning Infusion Enchanting. Make a few more of your shelf type, infuse them, and upgrade them.[25]
- Level 70 needs a Level 60 table and Deepslate. Craft a Dormant Deepshelf and infuse it into a Deepshelf.[26]
- Level 75 means upgrading your Deepshelves with materials from the Deep Dark: Echo Shards from the Ancient City and Sculk gathered with Silk Touch.[26]
- Level 80 requires slaying the Warden, which lets you craft Sculkshelves.[26]
- Level 90 needs a Level 80 table and Dragon's Breath, which you turn into Infused Dragon's Breath for Endshelves.[22]
- Level 100 is the cap. It takes a Dragon Head from the outer End to make a Draconic Endshelf, which lifts a table from Level 90 to 100 but gives no other stat bonuses.[22]
Crafting materials and stations
Most of the crafting chain is built from salvaged materials, and the Salvaging Table is where you get them. You end up with Gem Dust plus one material per affix rarity: apotheosis:common_material, apotheosis:uncommon_material, apotheosis:rare_material, apotheosis:epic_material and apotheosis:mythic_material.[17]

End-game: the Augmenting Table
The Augmenting Table is the end-game station. It upgrades or rerolls individual affixes and leaves the rest of the item intact. The guide recommends using it on items of at least Mythic rarity, though Epic ones are worth considering. It is built on an Enchanting Table and needs a Nether Star plus two Godforged Pearls, the Mythic material.[8][17]

How does Apotheosis work with other mods?
1 part
The integration the pack's recipes confirm is between Apotheosis and the item Gate Pearl. Apotheosis materials feed into several separate ways of crafting it, and the pack has changed every one of those recipes from its default.[17]
Three Gate Pearl recipes

Which All the Mods 10 quests use Apotheosis?
5 parts
In the quest book, Apotheosis has two chapters of its own: Apothic Enchanting with 44 quests and Apothic Spawners with 19. It also gets a few mentions in other chapters, listed at the end. Everything below describes what those quests ask for and say.[27][28]
Apothic Enchanting
The chapter opens with "Apothic Enchanting" quest, which asks for an Enchanting Table. Its text says 15 bookshelves won't be enough with Apotheosis. Next comes "Vanilla Max is just the start" quest, whose text says normal bookshelves only get Eterna up to a max of 30. After that is "Infusing" quest, which says enchanting will offer Infusion once the right amounts of Eterna, Quanta and Arcana are reached.[27]
Almost everything else branches off Infusing. The text of "Eterna" quest gives Eterna a max of 50. "Quanta" quest gives Quanta a default of 15% and a max of 100%. "Arcana" quest gives Arcana a default of 0% and a max of 100%. After those three, "Negative amounts" quest asks for the Beeshelf, Stoneshelf and Melonshelf, which the quest says each lower their respective quantities for Infusions that need exact amounts.[27]
The shelf routes
- Hellshelf route: "Hellshelves" quest asks for the Hellshelf and, per its text, introduces Quanta. It leads to "Infused Hellshelves" quest, then to "Blazing Hellshelf" quest, "Enchanting Clues" quest and "Glowing Hellshelf" quest.[27]
- Seashelf route: "Seashelves" quest introduces Arcana, according to its text. It leads to "Infused Seashelf" quest, then to "Crystalline Seashelf" quest, "Remove Enchantments from Pool" quest and "Heart-Forged Seashelf" quest.[27]
- "Negative Enchantments Removal" quest asks for the Geode-Encased Bookshelf of Stability. Its text says this shelf gets rid of the increased chances of worse enchantments, though you can still get curses at a much lower rate.[27]
The two routes meet at "Deepshelf" quest, which comes after both "Glowing Hellshelf" quest and "Crystalline Seashelf" quest. Its text asks for 60 Eterna, 40% Quanta and 40% Arcana. From there the upgrades split: "Echoing Deepshelf" quest and "Soul-Touched Deepshelf" quest both follow the Deepshelf. "Echoing Sculkshelf" quest follows the Echoing Deepshelf, and "Soul-Touched Sculkshelf" quest follows the Soul-Touched Deepshelf.[27]
"Infused Dragon's Breath" quest comes after both Sculkshelf quests and the geode shelf quest, and its text talks about 80 Eterna. It leads to "Endshelves" quest, whose text says the stats aren't currently the best but the max Eterna of 90 is incredible. After that come "Draconic Endshelf" quest (max Eterna of 100 in its text) and "Pearlescent Endshelf" quest. The chapter's last quest in this branch is "Best Enchanting set-up" quest, which asks for the Soul-Touched Sculkshelf, Echoing Sculkshelf, Draconic Endshelf, geode shelf and Deepshelf of Arcane Treasures.[27]
Tomes and other Infusions
"Tomes" quest has five quests after it: "Tome of Scrapping" quest, "Armor Tomes" quest, "Tool Tomes" quest, "Weapon Tomes" quest and "ETC. Tomes" quest. The scrapping tomes then chain through "Tome of Superior Scrapping" quest and a quest in "Apothic Enchanting", which the quest text says takes off all enchantments and leaves the item alone.[27]
"Other Infusion Items" quest leads to the other Infusion goals: "Making Budding Amethyst" quest, "Making a real Trident" quest, "Unbreakable Charms" quest, "Crafting EXP?" quest and "Infinite Echo Shards?" quest. "Enchantment Library" quest asks for the Enchantment Library, and "Library of Alexandria" quest comes after it and after Other Infusion Items.[27]
Apothic Spawners
The chapter has one hidden, untitled authorship notice. The visible quests start with "Apothic Spawners" quest, which asks you to bring a Spawner. Every other modification quest in the chapter comes directly after that first quest, so the book sets no fixed order and you can take them as you like.[28]
- Timing: "Minimum Spawn Delay" quest asks for Sugar, and "Maximum Spawn Delay" quest asks for a Clock.[28]
- Numbers: "Spawn Count" quest asks for a fermented spider eye, "Max Entities" quest a ghast tear, "Spawn Range" quest a piston and "Activation Range" quest prismarine crystals.[28]
- Conditions: "Ignore Light" quest, "Ignore Players" quest, "Ignore All Conditions" quest and "Redstone Active" quest.[28]
- Mob effects: "No AI" quest, "Burning" quest, "Youthful" quest, "Health" quest and "Echoing" quest.[28]
- Extras: "Opposite Day" quest asks for quartz, which its text says reverses what the other item does, and "Quiet down you'll wake up the mobs!" quest asks for wool, which its text says quiets the spawner.[28]
Mentions in other chapters
In Basic Logistics, the text of a quest in "Basic Logistics" uses an Apotheosis gem as an example of what the filter lets through. In Generators N Furnaces, the text of "Ender Generator" quest mentions Apotheosis gems from Enderman farms.[29][30]
In Chapter 3: The ATM Star, a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star" comes after a quest called Apothic Mods. Its text says the Mini End Portal needs quite a few Endshelves, the last shelf tier from Apotheosis. The rest of that chapter is in the quest book.[31]
