Apotheosis is a mod in All the Mons 1.3.0, where it is version 8.7.0. All things that should have been (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)

What is Apotheosis?

2 parts

Apotheosis is the gear-and-RPG mod of the pack, and this pack ships version 8.7.0. It lets you find, build and perfect powerful gear. Items can carry Affixes, which work a bit like enchantments but follow their own rules, and Gems that you slot into Sockets for extra bonuses. The mod aims to feel RPG-like without taking over the game.[1][2][3]

Apotheosis is split into modules. Apothic Attributes adds the attributes and potion effects the rest relies on. Apothic Spawners lets you pick up and modify mob spawners. Apothic Enchanting overhauls enchanting. The main Apotheosis mod is the adventure module, with Affixes, Gems and World Tiers.[1]

Who it is for

If you want your gear to scale with the danger around you, this is your mod. You find affix items in loot and from mobs, and the rarity you find depends on your World Tier. There are five tiers: Haven, Frontier, Ascent, Summit and Pinnacle. Summit only opens after you slay the Wither. A higher tier gives better loot but makes every enemy stronger. Open the tier screen with CTRL+T by default.[1]

Where it fits in the pack

The pack's Apotheosis Gear quest chain walks you through the mod in order, starting with "Apotheosis Adventure" quest. Here is the rough path.[4]

  1. For now, farm mobs for an Gem. The quest says gems are rare drops from any mob and confirmed drops from Invaders.[4]
  2. Smash gems with a falling anvil to get Gem Dust. The quest recommends using only Common and Uncommon gems for this.[4]
  3. Make a Salvaging Table to break affix items down into rarity materials and to get gem dust without an anvil.[4][5]
  4. Make a Simple Reforging Table to reforge items with new affixes, up to Rare. For Epic and above you need to upgrade it to a Reforging Table.[4][6]
  5. At the end of the road, build the Augmenting Table to upgrade or reroll individual affixes. It needs a Nether Star focused through two Godforged Pearl items, with an Enchanting Table as the base. It runs on Sigil of Enhancement as fuel.[4][7]
Tip: This pack has its own twist on one sigil. The quest for Sigil of Supremacy says it cannot be crafted and can be bought from the Holo Battle Tower for 100 Battle Points. It strengthens every affix on your gear without sacrificing any.[4]

How do you get started with Apotheosis?

5 parts

Apotheosis gear all starts with one thing: a Gem. The pack's first quest, "Apotheosis Adventure" quest, tells you to farm mobs for Gem drops. They are rare from any mob and confirmed drops from Invaders. Real players get better drop rates than machines, so go hunting by hand at first.[4][8]

The order to work in

  1. Collect a few Gems. The quest recommends Common and Uncommon ones for the next step.[4]
  2. Turn Gems into Gem Dust by smashing them with a falling Anvil. The mod's own page says your first two dust come from an anvil crushing two gems.[1][4]
  3. Craft a Salvaging Table. It needs Gem Dust, which is why the anvil step comes first.[4][9]
  4. Craft a Simple Reforging Table and the sigil materials, then start reforging.[4][6]
  5. Optionally craft a Gem Cutting Table to upgrade your Gems.[4][10]

Salvaging Table

The Salvaging Table breaks affix items into Rarity Materials. Once you have crushed a few Gems with an anvil, it also gives you Gem Dust, so you can stop using the anvil. The material depends on the item's rarity: Common items give Mysterious Scrap Metal and Uncommon items give Timeworn Fabric.[4][5][11]

Reforging basics

The Simple Reforging Table works a bit like an Enchanting Table, but for affixes. Put the item in the center slot and Rarity Materials in the top-left slot. The material decides the rarity of the affix you get. You are offered three choices, and the second and third cost more. The Simple table only reaches Rare rarity.[4][6]

Reforging also burns a fuel item, the Sigil of Rebirth, which goes in the bottom-right slot. The quest notes it is one of the easier sigils to craft. Sigils start from Gem-Fused Slate, so craft that first.[4][6]

Sockets and Gem upgrades

Gems only work in items that have sockets. If your gear has none, combine it with a Sigil of Socketing in a Smithing Table to get up to 2 sockets. To socket a Gem, combine the two in a Smithing Table.[4][8]

If you don't like a Gem, the Gem Cutting Table upgrades it. An upgrade usually costs Gem Dust, Rarity Materials and a second Gem of the same purity. You can check the exact cost in JEI.[4][10]

Tip: The mod's guidebook, the Chronicle of Shadows, can be made with a book and a gold ingot according to the mod's project page. Some packs change content, so check it against what you see in-game and in JEI.[1]

Where to go next

Once you have Epic-level materials, the Reforging Table handles Epic and Mythic affixes. The Augmenting Table is the end-game station for upgrading or rerolling single affixes, fueled by Sigil of Enhancement. Both have their own quests: "(Better) Reforging Table" quest and "Augmenting Table" quest.[4][6][7]

How does Apotheosis work?

9 parts

Apotheosis is split into modules: Apothic Attributes for the new stats and effects, Apothic Spawners for moving and modifying spawners, Apothic Enchanting for the enchanting overhaul, and the adventure module for affixes, gems and world tiers. Everything below is how those systems work in this pack. For the full in-game reference, craft the Chronicle of Shadows guidebook with a book and a gold ingot. Disabled content is not visible in the book.[1]

Affix items, rarities and sockets

An affix item is any item carrying affixes, and its rarity decides which kinds it can receive. Stat affixes appear at every rarity. Effect affixes only show up on Rare and above. Sockets hold gems. Every Rare+ item also has a durability affix, which applies after other damage resistances, so it multiplies with Unbreaking.[12][13]

  • Common: one stat bonus, with a low chance of a second.[13]
  • Uncommon: two stat bonuses, maybe a third, and possibly a single socket. No effects yet.[13]
  • Rare: three stats and a special effect, maybe a second effect, possibly a socket, and a slight durability bonus.[13]
  • Epic: three stats and an effect, maybe a fourth stat and second effect, up to two sockets, and a stronger durability bonus.[13]
  • Mythic: four stats and two effects, maybe a third effect, up to three sockets, and a significant durability bonus.[13]

The pack also decides what counts as a tool or a weapon for affix purposes. Its data file classes some modded items from other mods as breakers (a paxel, a pickaxe and a hand drill) and others as melee weapons (Silent Gear's mace and axe, and the Draconic Evolution draconic and chaotic staffs).[14]

Salvaging

The Salvaging Table breaks affix items down into Rarity Materials, one material per rarity. Common items give Mysterious Scrap Metal and Epic items give Arcane Sands. Mythic items give a pearl of purified godlike energy. These materials are used in reforging and gem cutting.[5][6][9][10]

      Reforging

Reforging lets you roll brand new affixes onto any valid item, even one with no affixes yet. The Simple Reforging Table handles items up to Rare. For Epic and above you upgrade it into the Reforging Table. The center slot holds the item, the top-left slot holds Rarity Materials for the rarity you want, and the bottom-right slot holds Sigils of Rebirth.[6]

The table offers three choices, like an Enchanting Table, and none is inherently stronger. Each rarity has a base cost in experience, sigils and materials, and the extra choice slots charge double and triple that base. You can reforge the same item repeatedly.[6]

      Augmenting

The Augmenting Table is an end-game station for improving single affixes while leaving the rest of the item alone. Put the affix item in the upper slot and Sigil of Enhancement in the lower slot, then pick the affix from the drop-down menu. Mythic items are the usual target, and Epic ones are worth considering too.[7]

      • Upgrade: costs two Sigils of Enhancement and raises the affix's internal strength by 25%. How much that helps varies per affix. The button can also show an experience cost in levels.[7][15]
      • Reroll: costs one Sigil of Enhancement and swaps the selected affix for another of the same type. The alternatives are shown on the left.[7]

      Makes four sigils per craft.

Gems, dust and the Gem Case

Gems have a purity from Cracked to Perfect, and purity alone sets their strength. You socket a gem by combining it with the item in a Smithing Table, and a Sigil of Withdrawal removes socketed gems again, returning the item and every gem. The Sigil of Socketing adds a socket to an item that has none.[1][8]

The Gem Cutting Table upgrades gems. An upgrade usually costs Gem Dust, Rarity Materials and a second gem of the same purity, and the cost rises with purity. JEI shows the exact cost. Your first Gem Dust comes from letting an anvil fall on a gem. After that, use the Salvaging Table.[10][11][15]

The Gem Case stores up to thirty two thousand gems of each type and purity, and can be upgraded to hold more. It has a name filter, an item filter, and six auxiliary slots for upgrade materials. With enough materials and gems in the case you can upgrade gems right there, which makes the Gem Cutting Table obsolete.[16]

Watch out: Don't plan on farming gems with machines. Gem drops are more common for real players and have only a very small chance to drop from machines or other automation sources.[8]

      Enchanting

Enchanting depends on more than levels. At the moment there are five new enchanting stats. Each point of Eterna raises the maximum enchanting level by two. Quanta sets how much your effective power varies. Arcana shifts the rarity weights, and at 25% Arcana you will always receive at least two enchantments, and at 75% three. By default the weights are Common 10, Uncommon 5, Rare 3 and Very Rare 1. Quantic Stability stops negative Quanta rolls, and Clues let you preview more of the available enchantments.[17]

Your enchanting seed changes whenever you enchant something, and seed-based outcomes, such as which enchantments a slot offers, stay the same until it does. Enchanting tables and anvils also charge the optimal amount of experience instead of a flat number of levels.[18][19]

Infusion Enchanting is a crafting method run through the Enchanting Table. Each recipe has one item input and three stat requirements, and it only uses the third slot. Place the item, and if your stats are right the third slot lights up. Click it to infuse.[20]

      1. Level 30: the usual way, with fifteen bookshelves.[21]
      2. Level 45: add Hellshelves, or Seashelves if you prefer the ocean, to your bookshelves.[22]
      3. Level 60: infuse and upgrade more of the shelf type you chose.[22]
      4. Level 70: needs a Level 60 table, Deepslate, and an infused Dormant Deepshelf to make a Deepshelf.[23]
      5. Level 75: upgrade the Deepshelves with Echo Shards and Sculk from the Deep Dark.[23]
      6. Level 80: slay the Warden to craft Sculkshelves.[23]
      7. Level 90: needs a Level 80 table and Infused Dragon's Breath for Endshelves.[24]
      8. Level 100: a single Draconic Endshelf, made with a Dragon Head, lifts a Level 90 table to 100.[24]

The Enchantment Library stores enchantments from inserted books as points. A standard library has a Level Capacity of sixteen and voids anything above it. Clicking extracts one level, and shift-clicking extracts as many levels as possible. The Library of Alexandria raises the capacity to thirty-one and can only be made through Infusion Enchanting.[25]

Unverified The per-enchantment values for this pack are set in config/apotheosis/enchantments.cfg, which is not covered here.

      World Tiers

World Tiers are a per-player strength setting: Haven, Frontier, Ascent, Summit and Pinnacle. They control which content appears, how strong enemies are, and the weights for rarities and gem purities. Open the select screen with CTRL+T by default. A newly unlocked tier is not active until you press Activate. You can switch tiers at any time, and in multiplayer different players can use different tiers.[26][27]

Unlocking works through advancements. Haven is on by default. The default requirements are:[28]

      • Frontier: equip an affix item in every armor slot and hold an affixed weapon.[28]
      • Ascent: a full Uncommon set including a weapon, plus slaying an Apothic Invader.[28]
      • Summit: a full Rare set and having slain the Wither.[28]
      • Pinnacle: a full Epic set and slaying the Ender Dragon.[28]
Tip: Modpacks can change the unlock requirements, so check the Apothic World Tiers advancements tab for what applies here.[28]

      Combat rules

Apothic Attributes replaces vanilla armor math. In this pack's apothic_attributes.cfg, [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.A-Value Formula]] gives an intermediate value of at least 10, and [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.Armor Formula]] turns that and your armor into the share of damage you take. Armor Toughness no longer reduces damage directly. Each point cuts the effect of Armor Pierce and Armor Shred by 2%, up to 60%, through [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.Armor Toughness Formula]].[29][30][31]

Protection works the same way. In this pack's apothic_attributes.cfg, [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.Protection Formula]] gives each point 2.5% reduction, up to 85%, and [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.Negative Armor Factor]] is 0.015, so each point of negative armor adds 1.5% to incoming damage.[31][32]

The pack's apothic_attributes.cfg changes the Attributes GUI button position: [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#client.GUI Button Offset X Offset]] is -1 (mod default -3) and [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#client.GUI Button Offset Y Offset]] is 14 (mod default 3). It also changes [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#general.Hidden Attributes]], the list of attributes hidden from that screen.[31]

      Spawner runes and Create integration

The Spawner Module lets you move and modify mob spawners, and the modifications come from rune items. The pack changes the recipes for several of them, shown below.[9][33]

How do you progress through Apotheosis?

      5 parts

Progression in this pack runs on a few tracks at once: the World Tiers that set how strong the world is, the rarity materials you get from salvaging, your Enchanting Table level, and a ladder of spawner upgrade runes. A World Tier is a per-player strength modifier, and there are five of them: Haven, Frontier, Ascent, Summit and Pinnacle. Each one raises the difficulty and the rewards over the last.[9][26][35][36]

      World Tiers

Tiers do not activate automatically. Once you unlock one, open the World Tier Select Screen (CTRL+T by default), click the tier's symbol and press Activate. You can switch between tiers at any time, and the Detailed Info button shows that tier's rarity and purity weights and its Tier Augments.[27][28]

      1. Haven is enabled by default, though you won't see it until you've picked up your first Affix Item.[28]
      2. Frontier: equip an Affix Item in each armor slot and hold an Affixed Weapon in either hand.[28]
      3. Ascent: equip a full set of Uncommon Affix Items, including a weapon, and slay an Apothic Invader.[28]
      4. Summit: acquire a full set of Rare Affix Items and slay the Wither.[28]
      5. Pinnacle: obtain a full set of Epic items and free The End by slaying the Ender Dragon.[28]
Tip: Those are the default unlock requirements. Modpacks can change them, so check the Apothic World Tiers advancements tab in your own world for the complete information.[28]

The gear path, quest by quest

The Apotheosis Gear chapter starts with "Apotheosis Adventure" quest. The quest says that gems are rare drops from any mob and confirmed drops from Invaders, and for now it tells you to farm mobs for an Gem. Next comes "Gem Dust" quest: the quest says to smash a gem with a falling anvil to get Gem Dust, and recommends only Common and Uncommon gems for this. You need Gem Dust for most of the stations below.[4]

The quest book describes the Gem Cutting Table as the way to raise a gem's rarity: you use 2 of the same gem plus rarity materials, which makes it more powerful.[4]

      • Per the quest book, Common gives Mysterious Scrap Metal. It shows up most in Haven and stops appearing after Summit.[4]
      • Per the quest book, Uncommon gives Timeworn Fabric. It starts in Haven, is most abundant in Frontier, and stops in Pinnacle.[4]
      • Per the quest book, Rare gives Luminous Crystal Shard. It appears in all tiers but is most common in Ascent.[4]
      • Per the quest book, Epic gives Arcane Sands. It appears after Frontier and is most common in Pinnacle.[4]
      • Per the quest book, Mythic gives Godforged Pearl. It is found only in Summit and Pinnacle, and is most common in Pinnacle.[4]

      Affix tiers: reforging and augmenting

The Simple Reforging Table works like an Enchanting Table but for affixes. You put the item in the center slot and a rarity material in the left slot, and the material sets the affix rarity. You get 3 choices, and the second and third cost more. It can only reach Rare affixes.[4]

To go further you need the Reforging Table. The quest book says it does everything the simple one does and also offers Epic and Mythic affixes. Its recipe builds on the Simple Reforging Table and needs Arcane Sands, so Epic salvage is your gate.[4][9]

The endgame station is the Augmenting Table, which upgrades or rerolls single affixes and leaves the rest intact. It is fuelled by Sigil of Enhancement. A reroll costs 1 sigil and an upgrade costs 2, and an upgrade raises that affix's internal strength by 25%. The table is best used on Mythic gear, though Epic is worth considering too.[4][7]

The other sigils are cheaper helpers, as the quest book describes them. Sigil of Socketing adds up to 2 sockets in a Smithing Table, Sigil of Withdrawal separates a gem from a tool without losing either, Sigil of Unnaming shortens long names, and Sigil of Rebirth is the fuel for the reforging tables.[4]

      Enchanting Table levels

      1. Level 30 comes the usual way, with fifteen bookshelves.[21]
      2. Level 45: add Hellshelves to your existing bookshelves, or build Seashelves from the Ocean instead.[22]
      3. Level 60: infuse your shelves and upgrade them, then stack them on top of your old ones.[22]
      4. Level 70: you need a Level 60 table and Deepslate. Craft a Dormant Deepshelf, then infuse it into a Deepshelf.[23]
      5. Level 75: upgrade your Deepshelves with materials from the Deep Dark. Echo Shards come from the Ancient City, and Sculk needs Silk Touch.[23]
      6. Level 80: slay the Warden, which allows crafting Sculkshelves.[23]
      7. Level 90: you need a Level 80 table and Dragon's Breath, which lets you create Infused Dragon's Breath, a core component of Endshelves.[24]
      8. Level 100: retrieve a Dragon Head from the outer End to create the shelf that takes a table from Level 90 to Level 100.[24]

Maxing the table at 100 Eterna is what lets you start infusing Godforged Pearls into the God-Fused Pearl.[9][37]

      Spawner upgrade tiers

The Apothic Spawners chapter has four tiers of spawner upgrade runes. Each one sets several stats at once to fixed values instead of nudging them up or down. The numbers below are in this order: Minimum Spawn Delay, Maximum Spawn Delay, Spawn Count, Max Entities and Activation Range. The two delays are in ticks, where 20 ticks equals 1 second. All four recipes are changed by the pack.[9][35]

      1. Frontiersman's Spawner Upgrade Rune: 150, 600, 7, 12 and 24. It is the first tier, the cheapest and the weakest.[35]
      2. Wayfarer's Spawner Upgrade Rune: 100, 400, 10, 18 and 32. This is the 2nd tier.[35]
      3. Mountaineer's Spawner Upgrade Rune: 50, 200, 13, 24 and 40. This is the 3rd tier, and the quest warns you will need to fight a Warden for it.[35]
      4. Thundering Spawner Upgrade Rune: 20, 20, 16, 32 and 48. This is the 4th and final tier.[35]

How does Apotheosis work with other mods?

      4 parts

Apotheosis items show up in a lot of recipes from other mods in this pack. The big connections are Create Enchantment Industry, Apokinetics and Apothic Enchanting, and many of those recipes were changed by the pack, so don't rely on what you remember from the mods' defaults.[9]

      Salvaged materials meet Create

Your rarity materials can be dissolved into Apotheotic Essence with Create mixing recipes. Mysterious Scrap Metal covers common, Timeworn Fabric uncommon, Luminous Crystal Shard rare, Arcane Sands epic and Godforged Pearl mythic. Separately, Gem Dust dissolves into Crystal Essence. The pack changed all of these mixing recipes.[4][9]

To get those materials, break down affixed gear in the Salvaging Table (see "Salvaging Table" quest). The material you get depends on the item's rarity, so common gear gives common materials. Each material has its own quest: "Mysterious Scrap Metals" quest, "Timeworn Fabric" quest, "Luminous Crystal Shard" quest, "Arcane Sands" quest and "Godforged Pearl" quest.[4]

      Affix templates and machines

The pack adds two Create sequenced assembly recipes that make affix templates for Create Enchantment Industry. They are pack additions, not mod defaults.[9]

The crafting recipes for the Gem Cutter, Affix Augmentor and Infuser were also changed by the pack. Each one now includes an Apotheosis item: Gem Dust for the Gem Cutter, a Godforged Pearl for the Affix Augmentor and a God-Fused Pearl for the Infuser.[9]

      Apokinetics

Apokinetics leans heavily on Apotheosis. The pack changed the Apokinetic Shard recipe so it uses Gem Dust, and the Apokinetic Table and Kinetic Pylon also call for Gem Dust alongside Create parts. The Kinetic Pylon recipe is pack-changed, while the table recipe is the mod's own.[9]

Apokinetics also has a family of recipes that produce an Apotheosis Gem, each built from an Apokinetic Shard, Gem Dust and a mix of vanilla and Create items. Some of them, such as ignition, impact, momentum, precision, velocity and yielding, were changed by the pack. Others, such as conveyance, equilibrium, extension, flowing, frostwork and rupture, are the mod's own recipes. Here is one of the pack-changed ones:[9]

      Apothic Enchanting

Apothic Enchanting items are mixed into some Apotheosis recipes, and the reverse is true too. The Enchanting Table of the Raven recipe, changed by the pack, uses a God-Fused Pearl together with an Apothic Enchanting Table.[9]

Two spawner upgrade runes also need Apothic Enchanting drops, and the pack changed both recipes. The Thundering Spawner Upgrade Rune uses Infused Dragon's Breath, and the Mountaineer's Spawner Upgrade Rune uses a Warden Tendril.[9]

Watch out: Most of the recipes above are marked as changed by the pack. Always check the recipe shown here or in-game rather than the mod's default recipe from another guide.[9]

Which All the Mons quests use Apotheosis?

      3 parts

Apotheosis shows up in three quest chapters in this pack: Apotheosis Gear, Apothic Spawners and Apothic Enchanting. The Gear and Spawners chapters each follow their own chain. Apothic Enchanting is the infusion chapter, and it connects back to both of them.[4][35][37]

      Apotheosis Gear

The chapter opens with "Apotheosis Adventure" quest, which asks for an Gem. The quest says gems are rare drops from any mob and also confirmed drops from Invaders. Next comes "Gem Dust" quest, where you smash a gem with a falling anvil to get Gem Dust.[4]

After Gem Dust the chapter branches. The main branches are:[4]

The Salvaging Table unlocks five rarity-material quests, one per rarity: "Mysterious Scrap Metals" quest (Common), "Timeworn Fabric" quest (Uncommon), "Luminous Crystal Shard" quest (Rare), "Arcane Sands" quest (Epic) and "Godforged Pearl" quest (Mythic). You get each material by salvaging items of that rarity. Once you have Arcane Sands and the Simple Reforging Table, "(Better) Reforging Table" quest asks for the Reforging Table, which can also give Epic and Mythic affixes.[4]

All the sigil quests come after Vials and Sigils. They cover "Sigil of Socketing" quest, "Sigil of Withdrawal" quest, "Sigil of Unnaming" quest, "Sigil of Rebirth" quest, "Sigil of Enhancement" quest, a quest in "Apotheosis Gear" and a quest in "Apotheosis Gear". The quest text says the Sigil of Supremacy cannot be crafted and is bought from the Holo Battle Tower for 100 Battle Points. It describes the Sigil of Malice as a mystery, with rumors of Invader drops.[4]

The chapter ends with "Augmenting Table" quest, which needs both Sigil of Enhancement and Godforged Pearl first. The Sigil of Enhancement quest says a reroll costs 1 sigil and an upgrade costs 2.[4]

      Apothic Spawners

This chapter starts with "Blowing up Spawners" quest, where blowing up a spawner with TNT leaves Spawner Chain behind. The quest text gives 48-57 chains "at the time of writing". Then a quest in "Apothic Spawners" asks for the base Spawner Rune, and nearly everything else hangs off it.[35]

Straight after the base rune you get the basic modification quests: "Quiet down you'll wake up the mobs!" quest, "Redstone Active" quest, "Ignore Light" quest, "Spawn Range" quest, "Burning" quest, "Youthful" quest and "Health" quest. The first two upgrade runes are here as well: a quest in "Apothic Spawners" is the Frontiersman's rune, and a quest in "Apothic Spawners" is the Wayfarer's.[35]

The Frontiersman's rune sets Minimum Spawn Delay to 150, Maximum Spawn Delay to 600, Spawn Count to 7, Max Entities to 12 and Activation Range to 24. The Wayfarer's rune sets those to 100, 400, 10, 18 and 32.[35]

The advanced modifications unlock after a quest in "Apothic Spawners", the Infused Spawner Rune. The quest says you need at least 70 Eterna, 30% Quanta and 50% Arcana at an Enchanting Table. Once you have it, these quests open up:[35]

      Apothic Enchanting

This chapter has four Apotheosis quests. "Gem Case" quest has no prerequisite and asks for the Gem Case. The quest says it holds up to 32,768 of each unique gem and purity, and can double as a Gem Cutting Table.[37]

"Infusing Spawner Runes" quest repeats the Infused Spawner Rune requirement from the spawner chapter. It comes after two other infusion quests in this chapter.[37]

"Gem Case of House Fabergé" quest follows the Gem Case quest and a Pinnacle quest. You infuse the Gem Case to get the Gem Case of House Fabergé, which the quest says holds 2.1 billion of each unique gem.[37]

Last is "God-Fused Pearl" quest, which follows the Draconic Endshelf quest. It asks you to infuse the Godforged Pearl into a God-Fused Pearl, which needs 100 Eterna, 9.65-11.00% Quanta and 58.75-60.0% Arcana.[37]

      Which Apotheosis config options matter?

      4 parts

The config file with the most to look at in this pack is the Apothic Attributes one, which is the core module that adds new attributes and potion effects for the rest of Apotheosis. Here is how the pack sets the options you are most likely to touch.[1][31]

      Values the pack really changed

Only two options in this file have a different value from the mod default, and both move the Attributes GUI button. The button is anchored to the top right ([[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#client.GUI Button Offset Anchor Point]] is "top_right", same as the mod default). From there, the pack sets the X offset to -1 (mod default -3) and the Y offset to 14 (mod default 3). In practice, the button sits a little lower than normal so it is less likely to overlap other top-right UI.[31]

      • [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#client.GUI Button Offset X Offset]]: -1 in the pack, mod default -3. The range is -1000 to 1000.[31]
      • [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#client.GUI Button Offset Y Offset]]: 14 in the pack, mod default 3. The range is -1000 to 1000.[31]

Flagged as changed, but matching the default

A couple of options are marked as changed by the pack, yet the value shown is the same as the mod default, so you should not expect different behaviour from them. [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.Negative Armor Factor]] is 0.015, so each point of negative armor increases incoming damage by 1.5%. [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#effects.Ancient Knowledge Multiplier]] is 4 per level for the Experience Gained modifier from Ancient Knowledge.[31]

[[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#general.Hidden Attributes]] is also flagged as changed. The pack hides neoforge:nametag_distance, neoforge:creative_flight, apothic_attributes:elytra_flight and apothic_attributes:ghost_health from the Attributes GUI, and the mod default lists those same four. This is a client-side setting, and it also accepts namespaced wildcards and negation entries with a leading !.[31]

      Combat formulas

The combat rules are all at the mod defaults in this pack, so what you read in the Apotheosis docs applies as is. The armor formula is "a / (a + armor)", and the a-value formula is "if(damage < 20, 10, 10 + (damage - 20) / 2)". Armor toughness uses "min(toughness * 0.02, 0.6)" to reduce enemy armor pierce and shred, and protection uses "1 - min(0.025 * protPoints, 0.85)".[31]

      • [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.Armor Formula]]: "a / (a + armor)".[31]
      • [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.A-Value Formula]]: "if(damage < 20, 10, 10 + (damage - 20) / 2)".[31]
      • [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.Armor Toughness Formula]]: "min(toughness * 0.02, 0.6)".[31]
      • [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#combat_rules.Protection Formula]]: "1 - min(0.025 * protPoints, 0.85)".[31]

      Quality-of-life toggles

[[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#general.Enable Attributes GUI]] and [[config:config/apotheosis/apothic_attributes.cfg#general.Enable Potion Tooltips]] are both true, matching the mod defaults. The first keeps the Attributes GUI available, and the second adds description tooltips to potion items. Both are client-authoritative.[31]

What changed in Apotheosis between versions?

All the Mons 1.3.0 ships with Apotheosis 8.7.0, using the file Apotheosis-1.21.1-8.7.0.jar. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mons 0.3.0-beta or earlier, so it has been part of the pack for a long time.[2]

Unverified The individual changes in the Apotheosis 8.7.0 changelog could not be confirmed from the material available for this guide, so no feature-by-feature changes are listed here. The pack's own changelogs have no entries for this mod.

Note: The list is processed in order. Place negation entries at the end of the list to ensure they take precedence.
