What is XyCraft World?
2 parts
XyCraft World 0.7.45 is included in the pack. The quest book shows three kinds of items from the mod: Kivi, Xychorium gems in five colours, and RGB lamps in four shapes.[1][2][3]
The xycraft chapter
The mod's main home in the quest book is the "xycraft" chapter, which has 26 quests. It has a quest for Kivi, and four quests come directly after it: a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?" and a quest in "?". Those ask for machine blocks from the same chapter rather than items from this mod.[2]
Each of the five gem quests follows an untitled quest in the chapter. Each gem then leads to a machine quest that also needs the Machine Base quest first:[2]
- Light Xychorium Gem leads to a quest in "?".[2]
- Green Xychorium Gem leads to a quest in "?".[2]
- Red Xychorium Gem leads to a quest in "?".[2]
- Blue Xychorium Gem leads to a quest in "?".[2]
- Dark Xychorium Gem leads to a quest in "?".[2]
The RGB lamps in building tips
The lamps live in a different chapter, "building_tips", which has 67 quests. The quest a quest in "?" accepts any one of four lamps: RGB Lantern Lamp, RGB Flush Lamp, RGB Cube Lamp or RGB Pillar Lamp.[3]
It comes after a quest in "?", a light-source quest that accepts things like torches, lanterns and copper bulbs. Eight quests in this chapter are not covered here, so check the quest book itself for those.[3]
How do you get started with XyCraft World?
3 parts
In this pack, XyCraft World starts with one item: Kivi. The pack's quest book agrees. In the "xycraft" chapter, the a quest in "?" quest has nothing before it, and the Machine Base, Fluid Port, Item Port and Extractor quests all come right after it.[2]
Step 1: Get some Kivi
There are several ways to get Kivi here. The first is the Extractor recipe below. The second is a block generator recipe from Cobblegen Galore, which the pack changed. The third is sieving gravel, which the pack added, and it works with both a diamond mesh and a golden mesh. Pick whichever fits your setup.[4]

Step 2: Turn Kivi into Xychorium gems
Xychorium gems come in five colours: Blue Xychorium Gem, Dark Xychorium Gem, Green Xychorium Gem, Light Xychorium Gem and Red Xychorium Gem. The crusher recipe below turns Kivi into all five.[4]
Crusher (xycraft_machines)
- any kivi
Recipe id: xycraft_machines:crusher/xychorium
The crusher recipe gives all five gem colours.
The pack also adds a sieve route for the blue and dark gems, shown below for the blue one. In the quest book, each gem has its own quest in the same chapter, such as a quest in "?" and a quest in "?". Each one comes after an untitled quest.[2][4]
Sieve (exdeorum)

The gems matter beyond their own quests. Several machine quests come after a specific gem colour plus a quest in "?". For example, a quest in "?" comes after the light gems, and a quest in "?" comes after the blue gems.[2]
Step 3: Start building
Now for the building blocks. One craft makes 4 Aluminum Bricks, and those bricks feed the rest of the aluminum line. A second craft turns them into 4 Aluminum Tiles.[4]

For lighting, the pack's building tips chapter has an RGB lamp quest, a quest in "?", which accepts the RGB Lantern, Flush, Cube and Pillar lamps. It sits after the general lighting quest, the one that takes torches, lanterns and similar light sources. The recipe below makes the RGB Lantern Lamp.[3][4]

How does XyCraft World work?
5 parts
The sources I have for XyCraft World cover how its blocks are crafted and where its raw materials come from in this pack, so that is what this section walks through.[4][5]
Stonecutter shortcuts
The stonecutter does a lot of the work here. The recipe dump counts 76 stonecutting recipes that make XyCraft World blocks, each with a different result. If you want a variant of a block you already own, check the stonecutter before you build a crafting grid.[4]

Crafting the building blocks
Aluminum is the base of the building blocks. One crafting recipe turns aluminum ingots into 4 Aluminum Bricks, and another turns a brick into 4 Aluminum Tiles.[4]

Getting Kivi
Kivi has several routes in this pack. One is an Extractor recipe from the xycraft_machines namespace that takes water and gives Kivi. A second Extractor recipe has no item inputs.[4]
Extractor (xycraft_machines)
Recipe id: xycraft_machines:extractor/kivi_catalyst_0_waterblock
The pack adds its own route on top: sifting gravel with a diamond mesh in an Ex Deorum sieve gives Kivi. A cobblestone generator recipe also gives Kivi, and the pack changed that one. The pack has also changed the recipe that unpacks Kivi 1x into 9 Kivi.[4]
Getting Xychorium
The pack gives you a sieve route for Blue Xychorium Gem: a diamond mesh sifting dust in an Ex Deorum sieve. The pack also changed the Actually Additions mining lens recipe that produces Blue Xychorium Ore from blocks in the stone ore replaceables group. Once you have gems, they can be packed into Blue Xychorium Gem Storage.[4]

How do you progress through XyCraft World?
4 parts
XyCraft World doesn't have a formal tier ladder in this pack. Its progression is the quest chain in the pack's "xycraft" chapter, which has 26 quests. This mod supplies the raw materials, Kivi and the Xychorium gems, and the rest of the chapter asks you to turn them into XyCraft machines.[2]
Step 1: Kivi
The chapter's starting point is the a quest in "?" quest, which asks for Kivi. Four quests come directly after it: a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?" and a quest in "?".[2]
The mod's own Extractor can produce Kivi from water, so the Extractor quest and the Kivi quest fit together nicely.[4]
The pack also adds Ex Deorum sieve recipes that give Kivi from gravel, with iron, golden and diamond meshes each having one. It changes the Cobblestone Generators Galore recipe for Kivi too. If you have a lot of Kivi, a pack-changed All the Compressed recipe unpacks one compressed Kivi into 9 Kivi.[4]
Step 2: Xychorium gems
The book has one quest for each gem colour: a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?" and a quest in "?". Each one sits after an untitled quest in the chapter.[2]
The XyCraft Crusher turns Kivi into all five gem colours: blue, dark, green, light and red.[4]
Crusher (xycraft_machines)
- any kivi
Recipe id: xycraft_machines:crusher/xychorium
The pack adds extra routes for some colours. Ex Deorum sieve recipes with a diamond mesh give Blue Xychorium Gem, Dark Xychorium Gem and Green Xychorium Gem. The pack also changes the Actually Additions mining lens recipes for Blue Xychorium Ore, Dark Xychorium Ore and Green Xychorium Ore.[4]
For storage, Blue Xychorium Gem Storage unpacks into 9 gems, and the dark and green storage blocks work the same way.[4]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: xycraft_world:unpacking/xychorium_gem_blue
Step 3: Machines that need gems
Once you have a gem colour and the Machine Base, the quest book opens a machine for it. Each of these quests comes after both a gem quest and a quest in "?":[2]
- Blue gems lead to a quest in "?".[2]
- Dark gems lead to a quest in "?".[2]
- Green gems lead to a quest in "?".[2]
- Red gems lead to a quest in "?".[2]
- Light gems lead to a quest in "?".[2]
The port branch runs separately. a quest in "?" comes after Fluid Port. a quest in "?" comes after Item Port, and a quest in "?" comes after both of those. a quest in "?" and a quest in "?" each come after Soaryn Box and Item Port.[2]
Building with XyCraft World
The building blocks aren't gated by the xycraft chapter. Aluminum Bricks craft into 4 Aluminum Tiles, and coloured variants such as Blue Aluminum Bricks come 2 per craft.[4]
Crafting Shaped

Glass viewers have their own upgrade path. Reinforced Glass Viewer can be upgraded to Immortal Glass Viewer.[4]

The quest book mentions the RGB lamps in the "building_tips" chapter. The a quest in "?" quest accepts any of the four RGB lamp styles and comes after the quest asking for a light source.[3]
How does XyCraft World work with other mods?
3 parts
XyCraft World doesn't live on its own in this pack. Its gems and Kivi plug into Ex Deorum sieving, All the Compressed storage recipes and a whole family of colored vanilla-style blocks. Here's how it all connects.[4]
Ex Deorum: sieving for gems and Kivi
The pack adds Ex Deorum sieve recipes for XyCraft World materials, so you can get them through sieving. Every Xychorium gem color (blue, dark, green, light and red) is a sieve result from Dust, and there are recipes for the Flint Mesh, Iron Mesh, Diamond Mesh and Netherite Mesh.[4]
Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: allthemods:exdeorum/diamond_mesh/dust/xychorium_gem_blue

Kivi comes from sieving Gravel. The pack adds Kivi recipes for the Iron Mesh, Golden Mesh, Diamond Mesh and Netherite Mesh.[4]
One of the sieve routes to Kivi that the pack adds.
The mod's quest chapter follows the same materials. There is a quest whose task is Kivi (a quest in "?"), and one for each gem color: blue (a quest in "?"), dark (a quest in "?"), red (a quest in "?"), green (a quest in "?") and light (a quest in "?"). The five gem quests all come after the same earlier quest in that chapter.[2]
All the Compressed: storage blocks and Kivi
The pack has compress and decompress recipes linking XyCraft World items to their All the Compressed 1x versions. These cover Kivi and the Xychorium gem storage blocks in every color, such as Blue Xychorium Gem Storage, which has the matching Blue Xychorium Gem Storage 1x. The pack changed all of these recipes. Compressing is a shaped recipe and decompressing is shapeless.[4]
Compressing Kivi into Kivi 1x, a recipe the pack changed.
Decompressing Kivi 1x back into Kivi, also changed by the pack.
Colored vanilla-style blocks
Xychorium gems also work as a crafting ingredient for colored versions of vanilla blocks. These recipes combine a gem with a vanilla block and produce items in the xycraft_override namespace. Examples are Blue Bricks and Red Chiseled Deepslate. Bricks, chiseled deepslate, chiseled nether bricks, chiseled polished blackstone, chiseled red sandstone, chiseled sandstone, chiseled stone bricks, chiseled tuff and chiseled tuff bricks each come in blue, dark, green, light and red.[4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: xycraft_override:shaped/bricks_blue
The other colors follow the same pattern with their matching gem.
The one wood-style recipe listed is Blue Chiseled Wood Pillar, which takes a blue gem plus any planks. Only the blue version appears in the sources.[4]
The pack's quest book also has a quest in the building_tips chapter (a quest in "?"). Its task accepts any of the XyCraft World lamps: RGB Lantern Lamp, RGB Flush Lamp, RGB Cube Lamp or RGB Pillar Lamp.[3]
Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use XyCraft World?
2 parts
This mod shows up in two quest chapters. Most of it is in the "xycraft" chapter, which has 26 quests. The other is a single lighting quest in the "building_tips" chapter, which has 67.[2][3]
The xycraft chapter
The chapter opens with a quest in "?", which asks you to get Kivi. Several quests come after it: a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?" and a quest in "?". The book doesn't list anything that has to come before Kivi.[2]
The five gem quests each ask for one gem colour, and each comes after an untitled quest in the chapter. They are:[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for Blue Xychorium Gem.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for Dark Xychorium Gem.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for Green Xychorium Gem.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for Light Xychorium Gem.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for Red Xychorium Gem.[2]
Each gem colour leads on to a machine quest, and every one of those also needs the Machine Base quest done first. Blue leads to a quest in "?", dark to a quest in "?", green to a quest in "?", light to a quest in "?" and red to a quest in "?". These machines ask for items from the companion machines mod rather than this one, so check the chapter in your quest book for the details.[2]
The building_tips chapter
The mod's other quest is a quest in "?". It accepts any one of four RGB lamps: RGB Lantern Lamp, RGB Flush Lamp, RGB Cube Lamp or RGB Pillar Lamp.[3]
It sits after a quest in "?", a quest that accepts many ordinary light sources such as torches, lanterns, glowstone and copper bulbs. So it's one of several lighting options in that part of the chapter.[3]
