What is Mystical Agriculture?
2 parts
Mystical Agriculture is all about growing your resources instead of mining them. You plant crops, harvest essences from them, and turn those essences into materials, mob drops, tools and armor. If you like automating farms and getting everything from one tidy field, this mod is for you.[1]
This pack ships Mystical Agriculture 8.0.18. Beyond the crops themselves, the mod adds six sets of tools and armor you can upgrade with augments, plus Growth Accelerators and Watering Cans to speed up growth. For harvesting you get Scythes, Sickles and the Harvester. Upgradable furnaces and the Seed Reprocessor help you process what you collect.[1][2]
Leftover essences still have uses. The Enchanter turns spare resource essences into enchantments for tools, armor or books, and the Soulium Spawner uses spare mob essences to spawn mobs.[1]
How the basics flow
- Mine Prosperity and Inferium ore, then make Seed Bases for the seeds you want.[1]
- Craft seeds at an Infusion Altar with Infusion Pedestal blocks. Placing the altar in the world shows you where the pedestals go.[1]
- Make Inferium Seeds as another source of Inferium Essence. Planting them on Essence Farmland gives more essence per harvest.[1]
- Normal resource seeds need some of their resource plus the matching tier of essence. Mob seeds need Soul Jars of that mob, which you fill by killing mobs with a Soulium Dagger.[1]
Where it fits in this pack
The pack gives the mod its own quest chapter. Early on it points you at Inferium Essence and the Prosperity Shard. From the shard, the quests lead to the Prosperity Seed Base and then the Infusion Altar and pedestals, which unlock the first elemental and resource seeds.[3]
The essence tiers are also quest steps. Prudentium Essence comes after Inferium, and Tertium Essence comes after that. Each tier brings its own tools, armor, farmland and growth accelerators.[3]
How do you get started with Mystical Agriculture?
4 parts
Mystical Agriculture is all about growing your resources as crops. In this pack the quest book walks you through the early game in a clear order, and it lines up well with the mod's own advice. Here's the path I'd follow.[1][3]
Step by step
- Get a Prosperity Shard (Prosperity Shard, quest a quest in "?"). The mod's description tells you to go mining for Prosperity and Inferium ore. This pack also adds sieve recipes that turn soul sand into shards, using an Iron, Golden, Diamond or Netherite Mesh.[1][3][4]
- Make a Prosperity Seed Base (quest a quest in "?"). Seed bases go into every seed you want to craft.[1][3]
- Build an Infusion Altar with Infusion Pedestal blocks (quest a quest in "?"). Seeds are crafted there. Place the altar in the world and it shows you where the pedestals go.[1][3]
- Collect Inferium Essence (quest a quest in "?"). You can also get it by killing mobs. Then make Inferium Seeds and Inferium Farmland (quest a quest in "?") as a steady source of more essence.[1][3]
- Plant your Inferium Seeds on Essence Farmland to get more essence per harvest. You can craft the farmland, or right-click vanilla farmland in the world to convert it.[1]
Why the Prosperity Shard comes first
In this pack's quest chain, the Prosperity Shard is the gate to the seed base. The seed base leads to the altar and pedestals, and the altar is needed for the elemental and other resource seeds. So the shard sieve recipe is your real first step.[3]

Added by the pack. The Golden, Diamond and Netherite Mesh versions work too.
Moving up in tiers
Normal resource seeds need some of their resource plus the essence of the seed's tier. To upgrade essence tiers, the mod uses Infusion Crystals. In this pack, Prudentium Essence is the next tier, and its quest follows Inferium Essence.[1][3][4]

How does Mystical Agriculture work?
6 parts
Mystical Agriculture is built around growing your resources: you plant crops, harvest essences, and turn those essences into materials, mob drops, tools and armor. This section covers how the systems fit together. The pack gives us little hard data on the machines themselves, so I'll flag clearly where the sources run out.[1]
Seeds, altars and essence tiers
Per the mod's own description, seeds are crafted on an Infusion Altar surrounded by Infusion Pedestals, and placing the altar in the world shows you where the pedestals go. A normal resource seed needs some of its resource plus the matching tier of essence. Mob seeds instead need Soul Jars of the right mob type.[1]
Essence tiers climb from Inferium Essence through Prudentium Essence, Tertium Essence and Imperium Essence up to Supremium Essence. In this pack, each step is a crafting recipe that combines the previous tier's essence with an infusion crystal of that same tier, so you need a crystal for every rung of the ladder.[1][4]

Growing faster
- Essence Farmland: Inferium Seeds planted on it give more Inferium Essence per harvest. You can craft it, or right-click vanilla farmland in the world.[1]
- Growth Accelerators: the tooltip says they grow the plant above them faster. The Awakened Supremium version is Awakened Supremium Growth Accelerator.[5]
- Mystical Fertilizer: the tooltip says it instantly grows a crop or sapling.[5]
- Watering Cans also speed up crops, according to the mod's description.[1]

Harvesting and processing machines
The mod describes a Harvester that harvests fields automatically, upgradable Furnaces, a Seed Reprocessor for spare seeds, an Enchanter that spends extra resource essences on tools, armor or books, and a Soulium Spawner that spawns mobs from extra mob essences. Scythes and Sickles help with manual harvesting.[1]
Machine upgrades show their effect in the tooltip as an operation speed multiplier. The Supremium Machine Upgrade and the Awakened Machine Supremium Upgrade both exist in this pack's version of the mod.[5]
Unverified The sources don't confirm how these machines are powered or fed. Energy use, fluid needs, inventory sides, harvest range and hopper or pipe automation are all unconfirmed, and the pack ships no config files for the mod. Check each machine's in-game tooltip and guide page before you build an automated setup.
Souls and mob crops
To collect souls, you carry Soul Jars in your inventory and kill mobs with a Soulium Dagger. The dagger variants have tooltips: one grants additional souls from hostile creatures, one from peaceful creatures, and the creative one grants infinite souls from all creatures. The Soul Siphoner enchantment adds 10 percent more souls per level.[1][5]
Awakened Supremium
Awakened Supremium is a high-level crafting material for upgraded versions of many Supremium items. It is usually made by infusing Cognizant Dust with a Supremium Block at an Awakening Altar. Cognizant Dust is dropped by the Wither and the Ender Dragon when they are killed with an Essence Weapon enchanted with Mystical Enlightenment.[5]

Tools, armor and augments
You can make tools and armor from the Inferium through Supremium essences, and upgrade them with augments through the tinkering system. Several augments change area of effect:[1][5]
How do you progress through Mystical Agriculture?
5 parts
Mystical Agriculture progression in this pack runs through essence tiers: Inferium Essence, Prudentium Essence, Tertium Essence, Imperium Essence, Supremium Essence and finally Awakened Supremium Essence. The quest chapter for the mod follows exactly that order, so you can use it as your checklist.[3][4]
Starting out with Inferium
After the chapter's opening quest, a batch of quests unlocks in parallel: the Watering Can, the Soulium Spawner, Inferium Essence, the Prosperity Shard, the Soul Extractor, the Seed Reprocessor, the Enchanter and Mystical Fertilizer. You can take these in whatever order suits you.[3]
The Inferium Essence quest (a quest in "?") is the main gate. It opens the Wand, Inferium armor and tools, the Inferium Growth Accelerator, and the quest for Inferium Farmland together with Inferium Seeds. It also leads on to Prudentium Essence.[3]
The pack adds its own way to get Prosperity Shard: a sieve recipe that takes soul sand, and it works with iron, golden, diamond or netherite meshes. The pack also changed the recipe for the Essence Furnace, so check the recipe below instead of relying on what you remember from the base mod.[4]

The prosperity shard quest leads to Prosperity Seed Base, and that leads to the Infusion Altar and Infusion Pedestal. You need the altar before any resource seed quest unlocks.[3]
Climbing the essence tiers
In this pack each higher essence has a crafting recipe that starts from the essence one tier below plus an infusion crystal of that lower tier. The quests follow the same ladder.[3][4]
- Prudentium: made from Inferium Essence.[4]
- Tertium: made from Prudentium Essence.[4]
- Imperium: made from Tertium Essence.[4]
- Supremium: made from Imperium Essence.[4]

Each tier from Prudentium to Supremium has its own quests for tools, armor, a growth accelerator and farmland. For example, the Prudentium Essence quest (a quest in "?") opens the Prudentium Growth Accelerator and Prudentium Farmland. The tier gear is upgraded from the previous tier's piece, as the Imperium Axe recipe shows.[3][4]

Which seeds unlock when
Seed quests are gated by the essence tier you have reached, and every one of them also needs the Infusion Altar quest. Here is how the chapter splits them up.[3]
- After Inferium farmland, Inferium seeds and the Infusion Altar: Dirt Seeds, Wood Seeds, Stone Seeds, Deepslate Seeds, Earth Seeds, Water Seeds, Air Seeds, Fire Seeds and Ice Seeds.[3]
- After the Prudentium-era quest that asks for a Soulium Dagger, 4 Soul Jar and a Soul Extractor: Pig Seeds, Cow Seeds, Sheep Seeds, Chicken Seeds, Fish Seeds, Squid Seeds and Slime Seeds.[3]
- After Tertium Essence: Zombie Seeds, Skeleton Seeds, Creeper Seeds, Spider Seeds and Rabbit Seeds.[3]
- After Imperium Essence: Blaze Seeds, Enderman Seeds, Ghast Seeds, Breeze Seeds, and Experience Seeds, whose quest also asks for 4 Experience Capsule.[3]
- After Supremium Essence: Wither Skeleton Seeds. Its follow-up quest covers the Witherproof blocks.[3]
Two seeds sit in other mods' quest chapters instead: Menril Seeds in the Integrated Dynamics chapter and Compressed Iron Seeds in the PneumaticCraft chapter.[6][7]
Awakened Supremium
The Supremium Essence quest (a quest in "?") opens the endgame of this chain. Two quests branch off it: one for the Awakening Altar, Awakening Pedestal and Essence Vessel, and one for Cognizant Dust. You need both before the Awakened Supremium Essence quest unlocks.[3]

Once you have Awakened Supremium Essence, the chapter's last quests cover the Awakened Supremium Ingot Block, the Awakened Supremium Growth Accelerator, Awakened Supremium tools and Awakened Supremium armor. The gear is made through awakening recipes that upgrade the Supremium version of each piece, like this sword.[3][4]

Side quests worth knowing
- The machine upgrade quest (a quest in "?") comes after both the Prosperity Shard and Inferium Essence quests. It accepts an upgrade of any tier, from Inferium through Awakened Supremium.[3]
- The Unattuned Augment quest unlocks after you finish the Inferium armor and tools quests. The Tinkering Table quest comes after it.[3]
- The Harvester has its own quest, which unlocks from a quest outside the mod's chapter.[3]
Unverified The in-game guide text was not available, so crop growth times, essence drop rates, seed tier numbers and the effects of each tier's gear and accelerators are unconfirmed for this pack.
How does Mystical Agriculture work with other mods?
6 parts
Mystical Agriculture plugs into a lot of other mods in this pack. Most of the links are recipes where essences or shards from the mod replace the usual materials. Several of them were added or changed by the pack, so they will not match what you remember from other modpacks.[4]
Ex Deorum: sieving for shards and dust
The pack adds Ex Deorum sieve recipes that give you Prosperity Shard and Soulium Dust from Soul Sand. Prosperity Shards work with the Iron Mesh, Golden Mesh, Diamond Mesh and Netherite Mesh. Soulium Dust only comes from the diamond and netherite meshes.[4]
Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: allthemods:exdeorum/netherite_mesh/soul_sand/soulium_dust

Resource essences for other mods' materials
Some essences from this mod turn straight into materials from other mods, and the pack changed these recipes. Limestone Essence gives you Limestone for Create. Draconium Essence gives you a Draconium Ingot. Compressed Iron Essence gives you a Compressed Iron Ingot for PneumaticCraft. The Mystical Agradditions add-on also turns Awakened Draconium Essence into an Awakened Draconium Nugget.[4]

Dyenamics: dyes and concrete
The pack adds Mystical Agriculture recipes for the Dyenamics colors, and each one is its own recipe. Dye Essence makes the dyes, for example Amber Dye and Wine Dye. Water Essence turns Dyenamics concrete powder into finished concrete, for example Amber Concrete. That saves you from setting up water placement.[4]

Productive Bees
Productive Bees has several recipes that use this mod. Centrifuging the Mystical Agriculture honeycombs gives you an essence plus Wax. This works for inferium, prudentium, tertium, imperium, supremium and awakened supremium. The prosperity and soulium honeycombs give you Prosperity Shard and Soulium Dust instead.[4]
The bees themselves also tie into the mod. A Prosperity Block converts a bee into the prosperity bee, and a Soulium Dagger does the same for the soulium bee. The imperium bee uses the Infusion Altar, and the awakened supremium bee uses the Awakening Altar. Both of those recipes start from a configurable bee and give you a configurable bee spawn egg.[4]

Create Enchantment Industry
The pack changed the Create emptying recipe so that an Experience Droplet gives you Liquid Experience. This links your experience farming to Create's enchanting setups.[4]
Patchouli guide and tiered crystals
The pack changed the recipe for the Patchouli Guide Book, and it now uses Inferium Essence. That makes the in-game Mystical Agriculture guide one of your first crafts.[4]
The pack also has a chain of crystal recipes in the matc namespace, built from Mystical Agriculture essences and Prosperity Shards. The chain runs from the Inferium Crystal through prudentium, tertium and imperium to the Supremium Crystal. The pack changed the inferium crystal recipe, the Insanium Essence recipe and the Master Infusion Crystal recipe. So check the recipe viewer before you plan around the Master Infusion Crystal.[4]

Unverified The quest chapter for this mod is mostly Mystical Agriculture items, and the part of it we could read doesn't show a quest that needs items from two mods. Any cross-mod quest links are unconfirmed.
Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Mystical Agriculture?
5 parts
The pack's quest book covers Mystical Agriculture mostly in one dedicated chapter, with a few extra quests in other chapters. The quests have no titles in the pack files, so I describe each one by the item it asks for. Every task listed here is an item task.[3][6][7][8][9]
The main Mystical Agriculture chapter
A group of quests share one earlier parent quest and can be done in any order: a quest in "?" (Watering Can), a quest in "?" (Soulium Spawner), a quest in "?" (Inferium Essence), a quest in "?" (Prosperity Shard), a quest in "?" (Soul Extractor), a quest in "?" (Seed Reprocessor), a quest in "?" (Enchanter) and a quest in "?" (Mystical Fertilizer). a quest in "?" (Harvester) hangs off a different quest.[3]
Inferium and prosperity branches
- Inferium Essence unlocks a quest in "?" (Wand), a quest in "?" (Inferium Growth Accelerator), a quest in "?" (the full Inferium armor set), a quest in "?" (any one Inferium tool or weapon) and a quest in "?" (Inferium Farmland plus Inferium Seeds).[3]
- a quest in "?" asks for an Unattuned Augment and needs both the Inferium tool quest and the Inferium armor quest. a quest in "?" (Tinkering Table) follows it.[3]
- a quest in "?" accepts a machine upgrade of any tier, from Inferium up to Awakened Supremium. It needs both the Prosperity Shard quest and the Inferium Essence quest.[3]
- The Prosperity Shard quest opens a quest in "?" (Prosperity Seed Base) and a quest in "?" (Furnace). The Seed Base leads to a quest in "?", which asks for the Infusion Altar and Infusion Pedestal.[3]
Essence tiers, in order
The essence quests form a chain: a quest in "?" (Inferium), a quest in "?" (Prudentium), a quest in "?" (Tertium), a quest in "?" (Imperium), a quest in "?" (Supremium) and finally a quest in "?" (Awakened Supremium). Each tier opens its own tools, armor, farmland and growth accelerator quests.[3]
- Prudentium: a quest in "?" (tools), a quest in "?" (armor), a quest in "?" (farmland), a quest in "?" (growth accelerator) and a quest in "?" (a Soulium Dagger, four Soul Jar and a Soul Extractor).[3]
- Tertium: a quest in "?" (tools), a quest in "?" (armor), a quest in "?" (farmland) and a quest in "?" (growth accelerator).[3]
- Imperium: a quest in "?" (tools), a quest in "?" (armor), a quest in "?" (farmland) and a quest in "?" (growth accelerator).[3]
- Supremium: a quest in "?" (tools), a quest in "?" (armor), a quest in "?" (farmland), a quest in "?" (growth accelerator), a quest in "?" (Cognizant Dust) and a quest in "?" (Awakening Altar, Awakening Pedestal and Essence Vessel).[3]
- Awakened Supremium Essence needs both the Awakening Altar quest and the Cognizant Dust quest. After it come a quest in "?" (Ingot Block), a quest in "?" (growth accelerator), a quest in "?" (tools) and a quest in "?" (armor).[3]
Seed quests
Every seed quest in this chapter needs the Infusion Altar quest, plus one more quest that sets how far along you must be. Once you have Inferium Farmland and Seeds, you can do a quest in "?" (Fire), a quest in "?" (Stone), a quest in "?" (Earth), a quest in "?" (Wood), a quest in "?" (Dirt), a quest in "?" (Deepslate), a quest in "?" (Ice), a quest in "?" (Air) and a quest in "?" (Water).[3]
- After the Soulium Dagger quest: a quest in "?" (Slime), a quest in "?" (Fish), a quest in "?" (Squid), a quest in "?" (Sheep), a quest in "?" (Chicken), a quest in "?" (Cow) and a quest in "?" (Pig).[3]

- After Supremium Essence: a quest in "?" (Wither Skeleton). It leads to a quest in "?", which accepts any one of Witherproof Block, Witherproof Bricks or Witherproof Glass.[3]
Other chapters
- The basic tools chapter has one sword quest per tier, from Inferium (a quest in "?") to Awakened Supremium (a quest in "?"). It also has a quest in "?" (a pickaxe of any tier), a quest in "?" (Soulium Dagger) and a quest in "?" (a Passive or Hostile Soulium Dagger). They all share one parent quest, so there is no fixed order.[8]
- The basic armor chapter has one full-set quest per tier, from Inferium (a quest in "?") to Awakened Supremium (a quest in "?"). No prerequisites are listed for these.[9]
- a quest in "?" in the integrated_dynamics chapter asks for Menril Seeds.[6]
- a quest in "?" in the pneumaticcraft chapter asks for Compressed Iron Seeds.[7]
Which Mystical Agriculture config options matter?
Mystical Agriculture is built around growing resources as crops. You can speed up crop growth with Growth Accelerators and Watering Cans, and harvest with Scythes, Sickles or the Harvester. If you want to tune the mod, those systems are the ones you will most likely notice.[1]
Unverified I have no config values for Mystical Agriculture in this pack, so I can't say which options matter here or whether the pack changed anything from the mod defaults. Don't rely on default values from other sources, and check your own instance's settings before changing anything.
What changed in Mystical Agriculture between versions?
