What is L_Ender's Cataclysm?
2 parts
L_Ender's Cataclysm adds difficult dungeons, challenging boss fights and powerful items. You defeat the bosses to earn their gear. This pack ships version 3.26 of the mod.[1][2]
Where it sits in the quest book
The mod has its own quest chapter called "Cataclysm". Its boss quests are built around the Eye items, and each Eye quest comes after a quest named "Eye see you!". Each Eye points you to a boss structure. The Eye of Desert takes you to the Cursed Pyramid and the Ancient Remnant, and the Eye of Storm takes you to the Acropolis and Scylla. The Eye of Abyss leads to the Sunken City and the Leviathan, and the Eye of Flame leads to the Burning Arena and the Ignis.[3]
The other four Eyes follow the same pattern. The Eye of Curse leads to the Frosted Prison and the Maledictus. The Eye of Void leads to the Ruined Citadel and the Ender Guardian. The Eye of Mech leads to the Ancient Factory and The Harbinger. The Eye of Monstrous leads to the Soul BlackSmith and the Netherite Monstrosity.[3]
Some quests then follow the boss structures. For example, "Abyssal Sacrifice" quest comes after the Sunken City quest and covers waking the Leviathan. "Burning Ashes" quest comes after the Burning Arena quest and covers relighting the Ignis.[3]
The ATM Star path
Yes, the ATM Star path uses this mod. The "The ATM Star" chapter has Cataclysm quests, and each one comes after "Cataclysm": "Abyssal Sacrifice" quest, "Meat Shredder" quest and "Void Forge" quest.[4]
- The Abyssal Sacrifice is called the easiest Cataclysm item you need for the Star.[4]
- The Meat Shredder depends on a drop from The Harbinger. You find the Ancient Factory deep underground in the Overworld and feed the powered-down Harbinger a Nether Star. After a long, difficult boss fight you can craft the Meat Shredder.[4]
- The Void Forge is hard to get. It takes two bosses and a miniboss: The Harbinger in the Ancient Factory leads to the Mechanical Fusion Anvil, the Netherite Monstrosity drops the Infernal Forge, and the Ender Golem in the Ruined Citadel drops the Void Core.[4]
How do you get started with L_Ender's Cataclysm?
4 parts
Cataclysm adds difficult dungeons, challenging boss fights and powerful items to earn from them. Your first job is to find the dungeons, and the mod gives you a set of Eyes for that.[1]
Step 1: Craft an Eye to find a dungeon
Each boss has its own Eye, and each Eye has its own quest in the Cataclysm chapter of the pack's quest book. All of those quests come after a quest called Eye see you![3]
- Eye of Desert leads to the Cursed Pyramid and the Ancient Remnant.[3]
- Eye of Flame leads to the Burning Arena and the Ignis.[3]
- Eye of Storm leads to the Acropolis and Scylla.[3]
- Eye of Abyss leads to the Sunken City and the Leviathan.[3]
- Eye of Curse leads to the Frosted Prison and the Maledictus.[3]
- Eye of Mech leads to the Ancient Factory and The Harbinger.[3]
- Eye of Void leads to the Ruined Citadel and the Ender Guardian.[3]
- Eye of Monstrous leads to the Soul BlackSmith and the Netherite Monstrosity.[3]
The pack changed the recipes for the Eyes of Desert, Curse, Storm and Mech, so don't trust the mod's default recipes for those. The Eyes of Abyss, Flame, Monstrous and Void use the mod's own recipes. Here are two to start with.[5]

This one is the mod's own recipe, unchanged.
Step 2: Get what each boss needs
Some bosses need preparation before the fight, and the quest book has a quest for each of these.[3]
- Ancient Remnant: you need Necklace of the desert. Use a Brush on the Suspicious Sand in the side rooms of the pyramid shaft, then right-click the Remnant with the necklace to resurrect it. See "Necklace of the desert" quest.[3]
- Ignis: you have to beat the Ignited Revenant first to get Burning Ashes, then use them on the Altar of Fire. See "Burning Ashes" quest.[3]
- Maledictus: the Door of Seal needs Strange Key, which the Aptrgangr drops. See "Strange Key" quest.[3]
The Leviathan needs an Abyssal Sacrifice. Some of its ingredients are rare, but Deeplings can drop them, and the Athame comes from Deepling Warlocks and Priests. The pack changed this recipe, and there are two versions: one uses Crystallized Coral and the other a Coral Chunk.[3][5]

Step 3: Cheap armor from the pyramid
Most things in the Cursed Pyramid drop Ancient Metal Ingot. It converts to and from nuggets and blocks like other ingots. The quest book points you to Bone Reptile Armor, which has no special abilities but gives very good stats for cheap armor.[3][5]

Later: Witherite and the Fusion Anvil
The Harbinger always drops a block of Witherite, which can be made into 9 ingots. Witherite is used to craft 3 weapons and the Mechanical Fusion Anvil, which combines Cataclysm items. The pack changed the Anvil recipe.[3][5]

How does L_Ender's Cataclysm work?
5 parts
Cataclysm is a boss and dungeon mod, so don't expect power, fluids or item pipes here. It adds difficult dungeons, challenging boss fights and powerful items. The sources I have don't describe any machine with energy, fluid or automation handling for it, so this section covers what they do show: crafting stations, summoning blocks, recipe types and the pack's config changes.[1]
Summoning blocks and boss setup
The mod's blocks include the Altar of Abyss, Altar of Amethyst, Altar of Fire, Altar of Void, Cursed Tombstone, Boss Respawner and Door of Seal. The mod's advancements say you summon Ignis, the Leviathan and Maledictus, wake the Harbinger, and dig the Ancient Remnant out of suspicious sand inside the cursed pyramid. The sources don't spell out exactly what each altar needs, so check the quest book or test it in-game.[6]
The pack raised the [[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Block.Cursed Tombstone Summon cooldown Minute]] option to 15 (mod default 1). Expect a much longer wait between Cursed Tombstone summons than in a standard install.[7]
Bosses that wander off with no target return to where they were summoned, set by [[config:config/cataclysm.toml#bosses Common settings.ReturnHome]], which is 20 here (the mod default). A value of 0 turns the return off.[7]

Weapon fusion and smithing
Some top-tier gear uses a Cataclysm-specific recipe type called weapon fusion. In the pack, Brontes comes from fusing Astrape with the Infernal Forge.[5]
The mod also has a Mechanical Fusion Anvil block. The sources don't confirm whether it is the station for weapon fusion recipes, so I won't claim that.[6]
Cursium Boots use the standard smithing transform: a netherite item upgraded with a template and an ingot. The pack changed the template recipe itself.[5]

Building blocks, stonecutting and Create
The pack has 40 stonecutting recipes that turn Cataclysm blocks into other Cataclysm blocks. Most are azure seastone variants, for example slabs from Azure Seastone and Azure Seastone Bricks. Polished obsidian and blackstone pillars have stonecutter recipes too.[5]
Stonecutting
Recipe id: cataclysm:stonecutting/azure_seastone_brick_slab_from_stonecutting
The pack also adds Create compatibility. Sandpaper polishing turns Azure Seastone into Polished Azure Seastone, and Create's cutting turns Chorus Planks into Chorus Fence.[5]

Ancient Metal Ingot packs into a Block of Ancient Metal and unpacks again. Smelting an Ancient Spear or a Khopesh gives an Ancient Metal Nugget.[5]
Pack changes to weapon cooldowns
The pack cut the cooldowns on most Cataclysm weapons to a quarter of the mod default. The sources don't state the unit, so compare the numbers against each other.[7]
- Weapon.InfernalForgeCooldown: 20 (mod default 80).[7]
- Weapon.gauntletofMaelstromCooldown: 45 (mod default 180).[7]
- Weapon.TheIncineratorCooldown: 100 (mod default 400).[7]
- Weapon.WASWMissileCooldown: 10 (mod default 40).[7]
Not every weapon option was touched. The Ignitium Helmet's lava vision opacity, Etc.lavaVisionOpacity, is 0.3 here (mod default 0.5).[7]
Boss scaling and griefing
The pack makes bosses much tougher than the mod default of 1. Ignis has a health multiplier of 16 and a damage multiplier of 8. Maledictus has 20 and 18, and the Leviathan has 16 and 10.[7]
Bosses also ignore ranged attacks from far away. The pack widened that range for the Leviathan to 72 (mod default 38) and for Ignis to 28 (mod default 15). Plan to fight them up close.[7]
The Netherite Monstrosity fires more lava bombs here: [[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Netherite Monstrosity.Lavabombamount]] and [[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Netherite Monstrosity.LavabombMagazine]] are both 10 (mod default 3).[7]
How do you progress through L_Ender's Cataclysm?
5 parts
Cataclysm in this pack is built around boss fights. Each boss has its own summoning item, and its drops unlock the next pieces of gear. In the Cataclysm quest chapter, every boss eye quest comes after the same "Eye see you!" quest, so the quest book does not put the eyes in a fixed order. The progression comes from what each boss drops and what you can build from it.[3]
Step 1: The boss eyes
Each eye has a quest that names the structure it leads to and the boss waiting there.[3]
- Eye of Desert takes you to the Cursed Pyramid to fight the Ancient Remnant.[3]
- Eye of Abyss takes you to the Sunken City to fight the Leviathan.[3]
- Eye of Flame takes you to the Burning Arena to fight the Ignis.[3]
- Eye of Storm takes you to the Acropolis to fight Scylla.[3]
- Eye of Curse leads you to the Frosted Prison to fight the Maledictus.[3]
- Eye of Monstrous takes you to the Soul BlackSmith to fight the Netherite Monstrosity.[3]
- Eye of Void takes you to the Ruined Citadel to fight the Ender Guardian.[3]
- Eye of Mech takes you to the Ancient Factory to fight The Harbinger.[3]
The pack changed the recipes for the Eye of Desert, Eye of Storm, Eye of Curse and Eye of Mech. The Eyes of Abyss, Flame, Monstrous and Void use the mod's own recipes. Here are the pack-changed ones.[5]

Step 2: Boss by boss
Ancient Metal Ingot drops from pretty much everything in the Cursed Pyramid. You can use it for Bone Reptile Helmet and Bone Reptile Chestplate, which the quest describes as cheap armor with very good stats and nothing special, and for the Ancient Spear. To resurrect the Ancient Remnant you need the Necklace of the desert, which you find by brushing Suspicious Sand in the side rooms of the pyramid shaft. The Sandstorm in a Bottle quest follows the Ancient Remnant, and you will want that item later for fusions.[3]
The Leviathan needs an Abyssal Sacrifice. The pack changed this recipe, and there are two versions, both shown below. The quest says Deepling Warlocks and Priests drop the Athame, and that Crystallized Coral and Coral Chunk both drop from Coral Golems and Coralssus. The Leviathan drops Tidal Claws and the Abyssal Egg. The ATM Star chapter has its own Abyssal Sacrifice quest, which calls it the easiest Cataclysm item needed for the ATM Star.[3][4][5]

Ignitium and Cursium
To fight the Ignis you need Burning Ashes, which you get by defeating the Ignited Revenant first. The Ignis drops Ignitium Ingot, which opens the Ignitium branch: The Incinerator, Bulwark of the Flame, Blazing Grips and Ignitium armor. The armor is a smithing upgrade of Netherite armor using the Ignitium upgrade template and an ingot. You can also fuse the chestplate with an Elytra to make the Ignitium Elytra Chestplate.[3][5]
The Maledictus branch starts with the Strange Key. The quest says the Aptrgangr carries it, and you need it to open the Door of Seal. The Cursium Ingot quest follows the Maledictus. From there the quests lead to The Annihilator, Soul Render and Cursed Bow. The Annihilator and Soul Render both use a Black Steel Ingot and a Cursium Ingot. Cursium armor is also a smithing upgrade of Netherite armor.[3][5]
Netherite Monstrosity, Ender Guardian and The Harbinger
The Netherite Monstrosity drops the Infernal Forge, which the quest describes as a pickaxe that mines up to Netherite tier. The Monstrous Helm is made at a smithing table with a Monstrous Horn, and its exact recipe is shown below. Killing the Monstrosity also gets you the Lava Power Cell for the Netherite Ministrosity pet, which starts with a Netherite Effigy. The pack changed the effigy recipe.[3][5]
The Ender Guardian drops Gauntlet of Guard. The Ender Golem drops Void Core, which is used in further Cataclysm crafts.[3]
The Harbinger always drops 1 block of Witherite, which can be made into 9 Witherite Ingot. Witherite makes the Meat Shredder, Laser Gatling and Wither Assault Shoulder Weapon, plus the Mechanical Fusion Anvil. The pack changed all four recipes.[3][5]

Fusion endgame
The Mechanical Fusion Anvil combines Cataclysm items into the top-end gear. These are the in-pack fusions:[3][5]
- Gauntlet of Bulwark: Gauntlet of Guard plus Bulwark of the Flame.[5]
- Gauntlet of Maelstrom: Gauntlet of Guard plus Sandstorm in a Bottle.[5]
- Wrath of the Desert: Cursed Bow plus Sandstorm in a Bottle.[5]
- The Immolator: The Annihilator plus an Ignitium Ingot.[5]
- Void Forge: Infernal Forge plus Void Core.[5]
- Void Assault Shoulder Weapon: Wither Assault Shoulder Weapon plus Void Core.[5]
How does L_Ender's Cataclysm work with other mods?
3 parts
Cataclysm connects to the rest of the pack in two ways that the pack data confirms: custom pack recipes that use its items, and quests that point from Cataclysm content into other parts of the pack.[3][4][5]
Dragon Soul
The pack adds its own shaped recipe for the Dragon Soul. It uses the Abyssal Sacrifice together with items from several other mods. This is a pack recipe, not something Cataclysm adds by itself.[5]

Oblivion Shard
The Oblivion Shard is also a pack-added shaped recipe, and it leans on Cataclysm more heavily. It mixes several Cataclysm items, including the Meat Shredder and the Void Forge, with items from other mods. You will be working through Cataclysm content before you can finish it.[5]

Quest links
The quest "Abyssal Sacrifice" quest sits in the ATM Star chapter right after the Cataclysm chapter. Its text calls the Abyssal Sacrifice the easiest item you need from Cataclysm for the ATM Star. The Cataclysm chapter has its own quest for the same item, "Abyssal Sacrifice" quest, which sits after the Sunken City quest.[3][4]
There is one more link to the wider pack. The quest "Infernal Forge" quest says the Infernal Forge, a drop from the Netherite Monstrosity, mines up to Netherite tier, so it can mine Allthemodium Ore.[3]
Which All the Mons quests use L_Ender's Cataclysm?
5 parts
Two quest chapters in the pack touch this mod. The main one is the Cataclysm chapter, which walks you through the boss arenas and the gear you get from them. The second is The ATM Star chapter, which sends you back to Cataclysm for three specific items.[3][4]
Step one: the Eyes
Each Eye quest unlocks after a quest called Eye see you! and asks you to get that Eye. Each one points you to a structure and its boss.[3]
- "Eye of Desert" quest takes you to the Cursed Pyramid to fight the Ancient Remnant.[3]
- "Eye of Storm" quest takes you to the Acropolis to fight Scylla.[3]
- "Eye of Curse" quest leads to the Frosted Prison and the Maledictus.[3]
- "Eye of Abyss" quest takes you to the Sunken City to fight the Leviathan.[3]
- "Eye of Flame" quest takes you to the Burning Arena to fight the Ignis.[3]
- "Eye of Void" quest takes you to the Ruined Citadel to fight the Ender Guardian.[3]
- "Eye of Mech" quest takes you to the Ancient Factory to fight The Harbinger.[3]
- "Eye of Monstrous" quest takes you to the Soul BlackSmith to fight the Netherite Monstrousity.[3]
Step two: waking the bosses
Some bosses need an extra item before they will fight. Each of these quests unlocks after the matching structure quest, and each one asks you to obtain the item.[3]
- "Necklace of the desert" quest asks for Necklace of the desert. The quest text says you dig it out of Suspicious Sand with a Brush in the Cursed Pyramid, then right-click the Ancient Remnant with it to resurrect it.[3]
- "Abyssal Sacrifice" quest asks for Abyssal Sacrifice to wake the Leviathan. The quest text mentions Deepling drops and an Athame.[3]
- "Burning Ashes" quest asks for Burning Ashes. You fight the Ignited Revenant for them, then use them on the Altar of Fire to summon the Ignis.[3]
- "Strange Key" quest asks for Strange Key, which the Aptrgangr drops. You need it to open the Door of Seal on the way to the Maledictus.[3]
Step three: boss drops and gear
After that, the chapter branches by boss. Most quests ask for one drop or craft and unlock after the mob or quest that provides it.[3]
- Cursed Pyramid: "Ancient Metal" quest comes after the Ancient Remnant, Koboletons, Kobolediator and Wadjet. It leads to "Bone Reptile Armor" quest and "Ancient Spear" quest. "Khopesh" quest, "Bottle O' Sandstorm" quest and the pet quest "What shall not be named for my crashing reasons" quest are also here.[3]
- Leviathan: "Tidal Claws" quest and "Abyssal Egg" quest, the baby Leviathan pet, both come after The Leviathan.[3]
- Scylla: "Astrape" quest and "Ceraunus" quest both come after Scylla.[3]
- Ignis: "Ignitium" quest is the hub. "Ignitium Armor" quest, "The Incinerator" quest, "Bulwark of the Flame" quest and "Blazing Grips" quest all unlock after it.[3]
- Netherite Monstrosity: "Infernal Forge" quest, "Monstrous Helm" quest and the pet quest "Netherite Ministrosity" quest all come after the Netherite Monstrosity.[3]
- The Harbinger: "Wither plus Netherite = ...?" quest unlocks "Meat Shredder" quest, "Laser Gatling" quest, "W.A.S.W. (Wither Assault Shoulder Weapon)" quest and "Mechanical Fusion Anvil" quest.[3]
- Ender mobs and the rest: "Gauntlet of Guard" quest comes after the Ender Guardian and "Void Core" quest after the Ender Golem. "Chitin Claw" quest comes after the Clawdian and "Void Scatter Arrows" quest after Endermaptera.[3]
- Maledictus: an untitled quest, a quest in "Cataclysm", asks for Cursium Ingot. It unlocks "The Annihilator" quest, "Soul Render" quest, "Cursed Bow" quest and "Cursed Armor" quest.[3]
Fusion Anvil upgrades
The last tier of quests all require "Mechanical Fusion Anvil" quest as a prerequisite, and each one adds another prerequisite. The quest text describes them as combinations of earlier items.[3]
- "Gauntlet of Bulwark" quest comes after the Bulwark of the Flame and Gauntlet of Guard quests.[3]
- "Gauntlet of Maelstorm" quest comes after the Bottle O' Sandstorm and Gauntlet of Guard quests.[3]
- "Wrath of the Desert" quest comes after the Bottle O' Sandstorm and Cursed Bow quests.[3]
- "The Immolator" quest comes after the Annihilator and Ignitium quests.[3]
- "Void Forge" quest comes after the Infernal Forge and Void Core quests.[3]
- "V.A.S.W. (Void Assault Shoulder Weapon)" quest comes after the W.A.S.W. and Void Core quests.[3]
- "Ignitium Elytra Chestplate" quest comes after the Ignitium Armor quest.[3]
The ATM Star chapter
This chapter has Cataclysm quests that are listed as coming after Cataclysm: "Abyssal Sacrifice" quest, "Meat Shredder" quest and "Void Forge" quest.[4]
The Meat Shredder quest has you find the Ancient Factory and feed the powered-down Harbringer a Nether Star, since the weapon comes from the Witherite it drops. The Void Forge quest sends you to several places: the Ancient Factory for the Mechanical Fusion Anvil, the Soul Blacksmith in the Nether where the Netherite Monstrosity drops the Infernal Forge, and the Ruined Citadel in the End where the Ender Golem drops the Void Core.[4]
Which L_Ender's Cataclysm config options matter?
6 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 6.6 guide
This pack rewrote a big chunk of the Cataclysm config. Almost every boss and combat value is far above the mod default, so don't plan around the stock numbers. Everything below lives in config/cataclysm.toml, and I flag what the pack changed versus what it left alone.[8]
Boss health and damage multipliers
Every boss multiplier listed here is changed from the mod default of 1. These are the main ones, as health multiplier and damage multiplier.[8]
- Ignis: health 16 (Ignis.IgnisHealthMultiplier) and damage 8 (Ignis.IgnisDamageMultiplier). Its healing multiplier is 4 (Ignis.IgnisHealingMultiplier).[8]
- Netherite Monstrosity: health 16 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Netherite Monstrosity.MonstrosityHealthMultiplier]]) and damage 12 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Netherite Monstrosity.MonstrosityDamageMultiplier]]).[8]
- Ender Guardian: health 20 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Guardian.EnderGuardianHealthMultiplier]]) and damage 8 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Guardian.EnderGuardianDamageMultiplier]]).[8]
- Maledictus: health 20 (Maledictus.MaledictusHealthMultiplier) and damage 18 (Maledictus.MaledictusDamageMultiplier).[8]
- The Leviathan: health 16 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Leviathan.LeviathanHealthMultiplier]]) and damage 10 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Leviathan.LeviathanDamageMultiplier]]).[8]
- The Harbinger: health 12 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Harbinger.HarbingerHealthMultiplier]]) and damage 8 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Harbinger.HarbingerDamageMultiplier]]).[8]
- Ender Golem: health 20 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Golem.GolemHealthMultiplier]]) and damage 6 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Golem.GolemDamageMultiplier]]).[8]
Damage caps
The pack also raised the DamageCap option for the big bosses. Here is each pack value with its mod default.[8]
- Ignis: 40, mod default 20 (Ignis.IgnisDamageCap).[8]
- Ender Guardian: 70, mod default 22 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Guardian.EnderGuardianDamageCap]]).[8]
- The Harbinger: 50, mod default 22 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Harbinger.The Harbinger DamageCap]]).[8]
- The Leviathan: 80, mod default 20 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Leviathan.LeviathanDamageCap]]).[8]
- Maledictus: 120, mod default 20 (Maledictus.MaledictusDamageCap).[8]
- Netherite Monstrosity: 180, mod default 22 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Netherite Monstrosity.MonstrosityDamageCap]]).[8]
Healing without a target
The file describes these options as the boss's healing when it has no target. The pack raised them, so a boss you back away from recovers faster than in the stock mod.[8]
- Netherite Monstrosity: 85, mod default 20 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Netherite Monstrosity.MonstrosityNatureHealing]]).[8]
- The Leviathan: 45, mod default 20 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Leviathan.LeviathanNatureHealing]]).[8]
- Ignis: 30, mod default 20 (Ignis.IgnisNatureHealing).[8]
- Ender Guardian: 30, mod default 20 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Guardian.EnderGuardianNatureHealing]]).[8]
- Maledictus: 24, mod default 20 (Maledictus.MaledictusNatureHealing).[8]
Long-range immunity
The "prevent attacks from far away" range is described in the file as the boss's immunity to long-distance attacks. The pack widened it for most bosses, so sniping from a distance is a bad plan.[8]
- The Leviathan: 72, mod default 38 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Leviathan.Leviathan's prevent attacks from far away Range]]).[8]
- The Harbinger: 64, mod default 35 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Harbinger.The Harbinger's prevent attacks from far away Range]]).[8]
- Maledictus: 32, mod default 12 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Maledictus.Maledictus's prevent attacks from far away Range]]).[8]
- Netherite Monstrosity: 32, mod default 18 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Netherite Monstrosity.Monstrosity's prevent attacks from far away Range]]).[8]
- The Prowler: 32, mod default 16 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#The Prowler.The Prowler's prevent attacks from far away Range]]).[8]
- Ignis: 28, mod default 15 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ignis.Ignis's prevent attacks from far away Range]]).[8]
- Ancient Remnant: 28, mod default 14 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ancient Remnant.Ancient Remnant's prevent attacks from far away Range]]).[8]
- Ender Golem: 24, mod default 6 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Golem.Endergolem's prevent attacks from far away Range]]).[8]
- Ender Guardian: left at the mod default of 12 ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Guardian.Guardian's prevent attacks from far away Range]]).[8]
Weapon cooldowns
Good news for your own loadout: every weapon cooldown I can see in the file is a quarter of the mod default. Here are a few of them, as pack value and mod default.[8]
- Void Core: 40 instead of 160 (Weapon.VoidCoreCooldown).[8]
- Soul Render: 25 instead of 100 (Weapon.SoulRenderCooldown).[8]
- The Incinerator: 100 instead of 400 (Weapon.TheIncineratorCooldown).[8]
- Infernal Forge: 20 instead of 80 (Weapon.InfernalForgeCooldown).[8]
- Sandstorm: 75 instead of 300 (Weapon.Sandstormcooldown).[8]
- Wither Assault Shoulder Weapon missile cooldown: 10 instead of 40 (Weapon.WASWMissileCooldown).[8]
- Wither Assault Shoulder Weapon howitzer cooldown: 25 instead of 100 (Weapon.WASWHowitzerCooldown).[8]
Spawning, block breaking and quality of life
- Amethyst Crab spawn rolls are 40 instead of 20 (spawning.AmethystCrabSpawnRolls). Higher rolls mean a lower spawn chance, so these crabs are rarer.[8]
- The other spawn settings I can see match the mod default. For example, the Koboleton spawn weight is 15 (spawning.KoboletonSpawnWeight).[8]
- Block breaking is set to false for the Ender Golem ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Golem.EndergolemBlockBreaking]]) and the Kobolediator (Kobolediator.KobolediatorBlockBreaking).[8]
- Block breaking is true for Ignis (Ignis.IgnisBlockBreaking), Maledictus (Maledictus.MaledictusBlockBreaking), the Monstrosity ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Netherite Monstrosity.monstrosityBlockBreaking]]), the Ender Guardian ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ender Guardian.EnderguardianBlockBreaking]]) and the Ancient Remnant ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#Ancient Remnant.AncientRemnantBlockBreaking]]). The file describes these as ignoring mob griefing.[8]
- Lava vision opacity for the Ignitium Helmet is 0.3, down from 0.5 (Etc.lavaVisionOpacity). Shader compatibility is on (Etc.shadersCompat).[8]
- Boss music is on ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#bosses Common settings.BossMusic(on/off)]]) and so is the custom boss bar ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#bosses Common settings.custombossbar(on/off)]]).[8]
- The return-home setting is 20, which is the mod default ([[config:config/cataclysm.toml#bosses Common settings.ReturnHome]]). The file says that setting to 0 stops a boss from returning to its summoned location.[8]
What changed in L_Ender's Cataclysm between versions?
All the Mons 0.18.0-beta ships L_Ender's Cataclysm 3.26, and the mod has been in the pack since 0.3.0-beta or earlier. Here are the notable changes from the mod's own changelogs, newest first.[2]
- 3.26: fixed a crash caused by the deaths of Ignis and the Leviathan. This is the version you get in the pack.[2][9]
- 3.24: fixed the Tidal Claw, and the curse of desert change was rolled back.[10]
- 3.23: fixed the Sunken City.[11]
- 3.19: fixed the Damage Tag.[12]
- 3.17: added new items and structures, and improved the config.[13]
- 3.16: changed the Tidal Claw's chain code, and fixed the water spear not despawning.[14]
The changelogs only give short one-line summaries, so they don't say which items or structures were added in 3.17 or what the config improvements were.[13]
