What is Dyenamics?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.44 guide
Dyenamics is part of this pack's mod list, so it's installed and ready to go when you load in. The pack ships version 1.21.1-3.3.1 of the mod.[1]
Unverified The available sources don't describe what Dyenamics adds, who it's aimed at, or where it fits in the pack's progression, so those details aren't covered here yet.
How do you get started with Dyenamics?
4 parts
Dyenamics adds 18 extra dye colours on top of the vanilla 16. The pack's quest book covers it in the "Building Tips!" quest chapter (chapter 3 of 70), in a quest called "Dyenamics" quest. It comes after "Colored Blocks" quest, whose text tells you to start with the dyes. That's exactly how we'll do it here.[2]
Step 1: Make your first dyes
Everything else in this mod is built from the new dyes, so make those first. I'm using Amber as the example, and the mod has the same style of recipes for its other colours. Amber Dye is a basic crafting recipe that makes 2 dyes per craft.[3]
Crafting Shapeless

Aquamarine Dye and Bubblegum Dye follow the same idea, each making 2 dyes per craft.[3]

Crafting Shapeless

Recipe id: dyenamics:bubblegum_dye
Ultramarine Dye is different: it is smelted instead of crafted.[3]
Step 2: Scale up with the pack's shortcuts
Hand-crafting every dye gets old fast, and the pack gives you faster routes. A Mystical Agriculture recipe, changed by the pack, makes 6 Amber Dye per craft. There is also an Occultism route added by the pack that turns one dye into 3.[3]

If you have Create, the pack also changed a mixing recipe so 250 of the matching Dyenamics fluid becomes one dye. The pack also adds a way to get Lavender Dye, 6 per craft.[3]

Step 3: Turn dye into wool and decor
Coloured wool comes next, because the carpet, bed and banner recipes all start from it.[3]
From Amber Wool you can make Amber Carpet, Amber Bed and Amber Banner.[3]

Step 4: Building blocks
For solid builds, start with terracotta. You craft Amber Terracotta first, then smelt it into Amber Glazed Terracotta.[3]

For concrete, craft Amber Concrete Powder first. The pack adds a Create splashing recipe that turns it into Amber Concrete. The pack also changed a Mystical Agriculture recipe that makes 8 concrete per craft.[3]

Amber Stained Glass is made from plain glass and the matching dye, and the mod can turn it into panes. The pack adds a recipe that turns Scratched Amber Stained Glass from another mod into 4 pieces of it.[3]

How does Dyenamics work?
6 parts
Dyenamics is a colour mod, not a tech mod. The sources show it adding extra dye colours and a full set of coloured blocks for each: wool, carpet, banners, beds, candles, concrete and concrete powder, terracotta and glazed terracotta, stained glass and panes, rockwool and shulker boxes. Nothing in them describes machines, multiblocks or power of its own. What you do get is how the colours are made and processed, partly through vanilla crafting and partly through other mods' recipes added by the pack.[3][4]
Making the dyes
Everything starts with the dyes. Amber is the example used throughout this page, and the other colours follow the same pattern. Amber Dye is crafted by combining two other dye colours, and you get 2 dyes from one craft.[3]
Crafting Shapeless
- any orange dye
- any persimmon dye
Recipe id: dyenamics:amber_dye
Ultramarine Dye takes a different route: it is smelted from a blue dye rather than crafted.[3]
Lavender is different in this pack
The pack removes the mod's own lavender dye recipe and adds its own. The script explains why: Dyenamics lays lavender out as the mirror of Mystical Agriculture's brown dye, and vanilla shaped matching is mirror insensitive, so brown wins the arrangement. The pack's replacement uses a symmetric layout of Mystical Agriculture dye essence that no other recipe claims, and it makes 6 Lavender Dye per craft.[3][5]

Multiplying dyes with Otherflower
The pack adds a shapeless recipe for every Dyenamics dye colour in its script list: combine one dye with an Otherflower and you get 3 of that dye back. Amber is shown here, and the id pattern is the same for the other colours.[3][5]

Create fluid dyes
Create Dragons Plus has Create mixing recipes that turn a fluid version of a Dyenamics dye into the solid item. The sources show 250 of the fluid per dye, and the dump marks these recipes as changed by the pack. Amber and aquamarine are written out below, and there are 18 of these mixing recipes in total. The sources do not say whether the mixer needs heat, so check the recipe in game.[3]

Concrete: powder, then water
Concrete powder is a plain crafting recipe that makes 8 powder per craft.[3]
To harden it you have two options in this pack. The first is Create splashing: the pack adds a splashing recipe that turns Amber Concrete Powder into Amber Concrete, and the dump counts 18 of these splashing recipes.[3]
Splashing (create)
Recipe id: create:splashing/runtime_generated/compat/dyenamics/amber_concrete_powder_to_amber_concrete
The second is the mod's own concrete recipe, which the pack changed. It now uses Mystical Agriculture water essence together with the powder and gives 8 concrete.[3]

Glass, terracotta and other blocks
Stained glass and panes follow the usual vanilla pattern. You can make Amber Stained Glass from plain glass and dye, and panes either from a pane and dye or from the finished glass block.[3]

How do you progress through Dyenamics?
7 parts
In this pack, getting into Dyenamics is about two things: how you get each dye, and then which blocks you turn it into. The quest book gives you a clear starting point, so I've laid this out in the order you'll likely hit things.[2][3]
Where the quest book puts it
Dyenamics lives in the Building Tips chapter, which is chapter 3 of 70 in the book. The path runs from "Building Tips!" quest to "Blocks!" quest, then "Colored Blocks" quest, and finally "Dyenamics" quest. The Colored Blocks quest tells you to start with the dyes, and the Dyenamics quest says the mod adds 18 more dyes that work for the same items and blocks as Minecraft's own dyes.[2]
Other quests that unlock after Colored Blocks are "Chipped Wool" quest, "Chipped Terracotta" quest, "Chipped Concrete" quest and "Luminax" quest. The Luminax quest says its coloured lights work with Dyenamics too.[2]
Stage 1: your first dyes
Several colours have a plain crafting recipe built from other dyes. Amber, Aquamarine and Bubblegum each make 2 dyes per craft, and Cherenkov makes 3. Ultramarine Dye is smelted instead of crafted.[3]

Stage 2: the pack's dye shortcuts
The pack adds or changes several routes to dye beyond the base mod. First, Mystical Agriculture dye essence turns into 6 dyes in one craft. The recipe dump has one such recipe for each of the 18 colours, and the amber one is marked as changed by the pack.[3]

Changed by the pack: dye essence gives 6 amber dye.
Lavender is a special case. The pack removes the Dyenamics essence recipe for Lavender Dye and adds its own symmetric layout. The script comment says Dyenamics lays lavender out as the mirror of the Mystical Agriculture brown dye recipe, so brown won the match.[3][5]

Second, the pack adds an Otherflower recipe for all 18 Dyenamics dyes. One dye plus an Otherflower gives 3 of that dye.[3][5]
Shapeless (kubejs)
Recipe id: allthemods:crafting/otherflower_to_amber_dye
Added by the pack. Every Dyenamics colour has the same pattern.
Third, there is a Create Dragons Plus mixing recipe that turns 250 of the matching dye ingredient into one dye. The recipe dump has 18 of these and marks the amber one as changed by the pack.[3]

Stage 3: dye into blocks
With dye in hand, you can make wool, terracotta, stained glass, panes, candles and beds. Amber is the example below. The recipe dump counts 18 smelting recipes for glazed terracotta, so the other colours follow the same pattern.[3]

Stage 4: concrete
Concrete powder comes first and makes 8 per craft. After that, the pack gives you two routes to finished concrete. Create splashing is added by the pack, and the Mystical Agriculture water essence recipe is marked as changed by the pack and makes 8 concrete.[3]

Stage 5: scratched glass
The pack also adds recipes that turn scratched connected glass into Dyenamics stained glass and panes, 4 at a time. The recipe dump counts 36 of these, so every colour is covered.[3]
Crafting Shaped
4 × Scratched Amber Stained Glass
Recipe id: dyenamicsandfriends:dyenamics_amber_stained_glass
Added by the pack: makes 4 stained glass.
Dye colours in Productive Farming
The Productive Farming chapter (group Resources, chapter 44 of 70) is the other place the quest book connects to Dyenamics. Its intro quest "Productive Farming" quest says the mod works hand-in-hand with Productive Bees and Dyenamics. The "FLOWERS" quest quest explains how bees cross-breed flower types and colours.[6]
Some flower quests are labelled with colours that are also Dyenamics dyes: "Zinnia" quest is Amber, "Great Lobelia" quest is Ultramarine, "Motherwort" quest is Peach and "Cape Leadwort" quest is Icy Blue. Nine quests in that chapter aren't shown in the sources here, so check the quest book for the rest.[5][6]
How does Dyenamics work with other mods?
4 parts
Dyenamics adds extra dye colors, and this pack wires them into several other mods through its own recipes. Everything below comes from in-pack recipes.[3]
Mystical Agriculture
The pack lets you get Dyenamics dyes straight from Dye Essence, with a recipe for each dye color. Lavender is the odd one out: its essence recipe is added by the pack, while the other colors have their essence recipes changed by the pack. Amber is the example below.[3]

Create Dragons Plus

Dyenamics and Friends crafting
The pack also adds recipes under the dyenamicsandfriends namespace that make Dyenamics-colored versions of items from other mods. They use Dyenamics wool, terracotta, glazed terracotta or concrete as the base. The recipes in the sources cover Amber and Aquamarine.[3]
- Comforts: Amber Hammock and Amber Sleeping Bag, plus the Aquamarine versions.[3]
- Create: Amber Seat, plus the Aquamarine seat.[3]
- Elevator mod: Amber Elevator, plus the Aquamarine elevator.[3]

Which All the Mons quests use Dyenamics?
2 parts
Dyenamics shows up in two quest chapters in the pack: one about building and one about farming. Only one quest is dedicated to the mod itself.[2][6]
Building Tips
The main Dyenamics quest is in the Building Tips chapter, which is chapter 3 of 70 in the book. You work towards it in a short chain: "Building Tips!" quest comes first, then "Blocks!" quest, then "Colored Blocks" quest, and finally "Dyenamics" quest.[2]
The Colored Blocks quest tells you to start with the dyes, and the Dyenamics quest is where that idea pays off. It says the mod gives you 18 more dyes on top of the 16 vanilla colors. They work for the same items and blocks as vanilla dyes, and the quest gives a Peach Candle, a Bumblegum Shulker and a Fluorescent Bed as examples. The book doesn't say which specific item the quest asks you to hand in.[2]
Dyenamics sits next to several other Colored Blocks follow-ups: "Chipped Concrete" quest, "Plastic Construction Bricks" quest, "Railcraft Colored Blocks" quest, "Chipped Wool" quest, "Chipped Terracotta" quest and "Luminax" quest. The Luminax quest also mentions Dyenamics: it says those colored lights work with the mod.[2]
Productive Farming
The Productive Farming chapter is in the Resources group and is chapter 44 of 70. Its opening quest, "Productive Farming" quest, asks for Dirt. Its text says the mod adds new crops plus more flowers and dye colors for them, and that it works hand-in-hand with Productive Bees and Dyenamics.[6]
The flower side of this is covered by "FLOWERS" quest, which comes after the opening quest. It explains the new cross-breeding method: bees with Pollen Upgrades in their hives will cross-breed the types and colors of flowers where they pollinate. The individual flower quests that follow it, such as a quest in "Productive Farming", each name a color.[6]
