What is Dyenamics?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.44 guide
Dyenamics is part of this pack's mod list, so it's installed and ready to go when you load in. The pack ships version 1.21.1-3.3.1 of the mod.[1]
Unverified The available sources don't describe what Dyenamics adds, who it's aimed at, or where it fits in the pack's progression, so those details aren't covered here yet.
How do you get started with Dyenamics?
5 parts
Dyenamics adds 18 more dyes on top of the 16 vanilla ones, and each new dye works for the same items and blocks the vanilla dyes do. The quest book agrees: the "Dyenamics" quest quest sits in the Building Tips chapter right after "Colored Blocks" quest, and that quest tells you to start with the dyes.[2]
Amber is the example below. The same kinds of recipes exist for other colors, such as Aquamarine and Bubblegum.[3]
Step one: make a dye
Everything else needs a dye first, so start with Amber Dye. Aquamarine Dye and Bubblegum Dye have crafting recipes of their own too.[3]
Crafting Shapeless
- any orange dye
- any persimmon dye
Recipe id: dyenamics:amber_dye
Ultramarine Dye is different: you smelt it instead of crafting it.[3]
The pack also changed a Mystical Agriculture recipe so that dye essence gives you 6 Amber Dye. If you already have that mod running, this is a fast way to stock up.[3]

Step two: dye some wool
Wool is the base for most soft decoration. Amber Wool is what you use for Amber Carpet, Amber Bed and Amber Banner. The recipes are below.[3]

Step three: terracotta and glazed terracotta
Dyed terracotta comes 8 per craft. Smelt it afterwards to get Amber Glazed Terracotta.[3]

Step four: concrete
Amber Concrete Powder is crafted 8 at a time. In this pack you can turn it into Amber Concrete with a Create splashing recipe, and the pack adds 18 of these splashing recipes, one per powder.[3]

The pack also changed the Mystical Agriculture concrete recipe: powder plus water essence makes 8 concrete.[3]

Step five: stained glass
Amber Stained Glass comes 8 per craft. Turn it into Amber Stained Glass Pane, 16 per craft, when you want windows.[3]
How does Dyenamics work?
4 parts
Dyenamics is a colour mod, so there are no machines, power or multiblocks to learn here. What matters is how its colours turn into blocks, and that comes down to crafting, smelting and a few pack-specific processing recipes. I'll use amber as the example, and every other colour follows the same pattern.[3][4]
What each colour gives you
Each Dyenamics colour comes as a dye plus a full set of coloured blocks. For amber that means Amber Wool, Amber Carpet, Amber Bed, Amber Banner, Amber Candle, Amber Terracotta, Amber Glazed Terracotta, Amber Stained Glass, Amber Stained Glass Pane, Amber Concrete Powder and Amber Concrete. The language file also lists rockwool and shulker box variants for the colours.[3][4]
The recipe dump counts 91 shapeless and 54 shaped crafting recipes that turn vanilla materials and dyes from the common dye tags into Dyenamics blocks. Another 36 shaped recipes take a Dyenamics block and make a second Dyenamics block from it, such as wool into carpet or stained glass into panes.[3]
Getting the dyes
Amber Dye can be crafted by mixing two other dyes, and the result is a pair of amber dyes.[3]
Crafting Shapeless
- any orange dye
- any persimmon dye
Recipe id: dyenamics:amber_dye
The pack also changed the Mystical Agriculture dye recipe for amber, so one dye essence now gives you 6 amber dye. Aquamarine has the same changed recipe.[3]

Not every dye is crafted. Ultramarine Dye is made by smelting a blue dye.[3]
Concrete: powder to solid
Concrete powder is crafted from gravel, sand and your colour's dye, and one craft makes 8 powder.[3]
The pack gives you two ways to harden it. The first is Create splashing, where the powder becomes the matching concrete. The pack added one of these recipes for each of 18 colours.[3]
Splashing (create)
Recipe id: create:splashing/runtime_generated/compat/dyenamics/amber_concrete_powder_to_amber_concrete
The second is a recipe the pack changed: powder plus Water Essence makes 8 concrete in one craft.[3]
Shaped No Mirror (cucumber)
Recipe id: dyenamics:ma/concrete/amber_concrete
Glass and terracotta
Glazed terracotta is smelted from the matching plain terracotta.[3]
Stained glass is crafted from glass and a dye, and one craft makes 8 blocks. A second recipe turns stained glass into panes, 16 per craft.[3]
The pack also adds recipes that turn scratched stained glass from its connected glass set back into Dyenamics glass, 4 blocks per craft. The pane version works the same way and also gives 4.[3]

Unverified The available sources do not describe any machine, power, fluid, automation or multiblock behaviour for Dyenamics, so none is covered here.
How do you progress through Dyenamics?
4 parts
The sources show no tier system for Dyenamics. What they show is a chain: you get the new dyes, turn them into base blocks like wool and terracotta, then turn those into finished blocks like beds, carpets and concrete. In the Building Tips chapter of the quest book, the mod has one quest: "Dyenamics" quest.[2][3]
Where the quest book puts it
The Dyenamics quest sits in the Building Tips chapter. It comes after "Colored Blocks" quest, which comes after "Blocks!" quest, which follows "Building Tips!" quest. The Colored Blocks quest tells you to start with the dyes.[2]
The Dyenamics quest says the mod adds 18 more dyes, and that they work for the same items and blocks as Minecraft's own dyes. Other quests that come after Colored Blocks include "Chipped Concrete" quest, "Chipped Wool" quest, "Chipped Terracotta" quest and "Luminax" quest. The Luminax quest notes that its colored lights work with Dyenamics.[2]
Stage 1: the dyes
Every color starts with its dye: Amber Dye, Aquamarine Dye, Bubblegum Dye, Cherenkov Dye and Ultramarine Dye. The recipes below show how some of them are made.[3]
Crafting Shapeless
- any orange dye
- any persimmon dye
Recipe id: dyenamics:amber_dye
Amber is a typical two-dye mix that gives 2 dyes per craft.
Crafting Shapeless
- any light blue dye
- any blue dye
- any glowstone dust
Recipe id: dyenamics:cherenkov_dye
Cherenkov makes 3 per craft.
Ultramarine is smelted rather than crafted.
The pack also changes one dye recipe per color, the ones with ma in their ids. For Amber, Aquamarine, Bubblegum, Cherenkov and Conifer, that recipe makes 6 dye per craft.[3]

Stage 2: base blocks
With a dye in hand you can make the base blocks. I'll use Amber as the example, and the other colors follow the same pattern: Amber Wool, Amber Terracotta, Amber Concrete Powder, Amber Stained Glass and Amber Candle. The recipes below show each one.[3]

Stage 3: finished blocks
- Amber Carpet, Amber Banner and Amber Bed are the wool-based finished blocks. The recipe blocks below show them.[3]
- Amber Glazed Terracotta is made by smelting the matching terracotta.[3]
- Amber Stained Glass Pane gives 16 per craft from stained glass. There is also a recipe that gives 8 panes from a plain glass pane and dye.[3]
- Amber Concrete comes from the powder. The pack adds a Create splashing recipe for this, and the dump counts 18 of them. The pack also changes a second recipe that makes 8 concrete per craft from the powder.[3]

How does Dyenamics work with other mods?
5 parts
This pack connects Dyenamics to other mods only through recipes. No quests involve the mod, so everything below comes from the recipe data. There are Mystical Agriculture recipes that produce Dyenamics dyes and concrete, plus extra recipes that turn Dyenamics blocks into items from other mods.[3]
Mystical Agriculture
The pack changes how you get Dyenamics dyes. Each color, from Amber Dye to Wine Dye, has its own recipe that runs through a Mystical Agriculture essence. Amber is the example here.[3]

The pack changed this dye recipe, and the other colors follow the same pattern.
Concrete works the same way. Making Amber Concrete from its powder also uses a Mystical Agriculture essence, and the pack changed this recipe too. The other colors follow the same pattern.[3]

Concrete powder plus an essence gives you the finished concrete.
Dyenamics and Friends: extra crafts
The pack adds a set of recipes under its own Dyenamics and Friends namespace. These turn Dyenamics blocks into colored versions of items from other mods. In the recipes I could confirm, the furniture, botany pot and elevator recipes only cover Amber and Aquamarine. The glass recipes cover more colors.[3]
Botany pots
The pack adds colored botany pots in a plain and a hopper version, for Dyenamics terracotta, glazed terracotta and concrete. Amber Terracotta leads to Amber Botany Pot, and the Flower Pot and, for the hopper versions, the Hopper also appear in these recipes. Amber and Aquamarine both have botany pot recipes. The exact layouts are in the recipe blocks below.[3]

Wool-based items
Dyenamics wool is the base for several colored items from other mods: a hammock (Amber Hammock), a sleeping bag (Amber Sleeping Bag), a seat (Amber Seat) and an elevator (Amber Elevator). Aquamarine has its own hammock, sleeping bag, seat and elevator recipes too. The elevator is the one that also involves an Ender Pearl. The Amber recipes are shown below.[3]

Connecting glass
Dyenamics stained glass and stained glass panes can each be crafted into a connecting (borderless) version, such as Connecting Amber Stained Glass from Amber Stained Glass. In the recipes I could confirm, this covers the colors Amber through Persimmon. Rose, Spring Green, Ultramarine and Wine don't appear in those recipes.[3]

Which All the Mons quests use Dyenamics?
3 parts
Dyenamics has one quest in the pack, "Dyenamics" quest, and it sits in the Building Tips chapter. The rest of that chapter is about the building and decoration side of the game.[2]
Where it sits in the chapter
- The chapter starts with "Building Tips!" quest, the intro to the building tips.[2]
- "Blocks!" quest comes after it. It just asks you to get any block.[2]
- "Colored Blocks" quest comes after Blocks!. It's about adding colour to your builds, and it tells you to start with the dyes.[2]
- "Dyenamics" quest comes after Colored Blocks.[2]
What the Dyenamics quest says
The quest text points out that Minecraft gives you 16 colours and asks whether that is enough. Dyenamics adds 18 more dyes, and they work for the exact same items and blocks the vanilla dyes do. The quest gives a few examples: a Peach Candle, a Bumblegum Shulker and a Fluorscent Bed.[2]
Neighbouring quests
Dyenamics isn't the only quest that follows Colored Blocks. These other quests branch from the same one:[2]
- "Chipped Concrete" quest[2]
- "Plastic Construction Bricks" quest[2]
- "Railcraft Colored Blocks" quest[2]
- "Chipped Wool" quest[2]
- "Chipped Terracotta" quest[2]
- "Luminax" quest[2]
"Luminax" quest mentions Dyenamics directly. Its text says the coloured lights from Luminax even work with Dyenamics.[2]
