What is Just Dire Things?
2 parts
Just Dire Things is a utility and progression mod, and this pack runs version 1.1.7. Its in-game guide describes lots of machines focused mainly on automation, plus tools and armor that accept upgrades.[1][2][3]
What it adds
- Automation machines such as the Simple Block Breaker, Simple Block Placer, Simple Clicker and Simple Sensor, each with an advanced version.[2][4]
- Goo blocks that transform blocks placed next to them. Primogel Goo turns Iron into Ferricore, Blazebloom Goo turns Gold into Blazegold, VoidShimmer Goo turns Diamonds into Celestigem, and Shadowpulse Goo turns Netherite into Eclipse Alloy.[5][6][7][8]
- Tools and armor in tiers, which you can upgrade with installable abilities. Blazegold gear can be repaired by dropping it into a lava source block.[3][9][10][11]
- Celestigem armor pieces store 10,000 FE and Eclipse Alloy armor pieces store 500,000 FE, so you will want a Pocket Generator to keep them charged.[12][13][14]
Where the quest book puts it
In this pack, Just Dire Things has its own chapter in the quest book, called "JustDireThings", in the Production group. The quests ask you to obtain the mod's items. The text of some of those quests is not available to me, so check the quest book for it.[1][4]
The chapter follows the material tiers that the goo produces. It starts with Raw Ferricore and the Ferricore tools and armor, and Primogel Goo turns Iron into Ferricore. Blazegold quests come after them, for example a quest in "JustDireThings" after the Ferricore Sword, and Blazebloom Goo turns Gold into Blazegold. Then come Celestigem, made from Diamonds with VoidShimmer Goo, and Eclipse Alloy, made from Netherite with Shadowpulse Goo, such as a quest in "JustDireThings" after the Celestigem Pickaxe.[4][5][6][7][8]
The goo quests form their own line, running from the foundational Primogel Goo tier to the top-tier Shadowpulse Goo. a quest in "JustDireThings" comes first, then a quest in "JustDireThings", then a quest in "JustDireThings", and a quest in "JustDireThings" ends the line. The soil quests ask for the soil items separately, from a quest in "JustDireThings" to a quest in "JustDireThings" to a quest in "JustDireThings".[4][5][8]
Upgrade quests hang off the gear they fit, which matches the mod letting armor and tools accept upgrades. For example, a quest in "JustDireThings" and a quest in "JustDireThings" both come after the Ferricore Boots.[3][4]
Nothing in the quest data places this mod on the ATM Star path.[4]
How do you get started with Just Dire Things?
5 parts
The start is simple: make goo, turn basic metals into new ones, then build a few machines that need no power. In this pack the quest book puts the mod in the Production group, as the "JustDireThings" chapter (chapter 41 of 44, 147 quests). Here's the order I'd go in.[4][5][15]
Primogel Goo
Primogel Goo is where everything begins. It's the foundational goo tier, it's crafted from simple Overworld materials, and it can turn basic resources like iron into Ferricore.[5][16]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: justdirethings:gooblock_tier1
To use it, place the goo block, feed it a resource it can consume (the block shows you which), then put an eligible block next to it. After a conversion there's a 10% chance the goo needs reactivating by feeding it another item. That chance is set by goo.goo_death_chance, and in this pack it is 0.1. Higher goo tiers can do everything lower ones can, and they're much faster.[17][18]
The quest a quest in "JustDireThings" lists the goo block, an OR filter and an iron block as its tasks, which fits with Primogel Goo turning iron into Ferricore. a quest in "JustDireThings" asks for Raw Ferricore, and no quest comes before it.[4][5]
Simple machines
Most machines come in a simple and an advanced version. Simple ones need no power. They usually only affect the block or entity directly in front of them, and you set how fast they run with the Speed(ticks) button. Advanced ones are stronger and cover a larger area, but they need power.[15]
Two good starters are the Simple Block Breaker and the Simple Block Placer. The pack changed both recipes from the mod's own, so follow these blocks and not what you remember from other packs.[16]

Fuel Canister
The Fuel Canister stores fuel and feeds it into machines like furnaces and generators, so you don't burn a whole piece of coal on one ore. The pack changed this recipe too.[16][19]

Blazejet Wand
The Blazejet Wand is a great way to get around. Its air burst ability (right click by default) blasts you in the direction you're facing, and while you hold it you take no fall damage. The pack changed its recipe, and its quest a quest in "JustDireThings" has no quest before it.[4][16][20]

Moving up to Blazegold
Next comes Blazebloom Goo, which turns gold into Blazegold. In the quest book, a quest in "JustDireThings" comes after the OR Filter quest, and a quest in "JustDireThings" comes after the Raw Ferricore quest. Raw Blazegold smelts into an ingot, and the pack also adds an alloy smelting recipe for it.[4][6][16]
Once you have Blazegold Ingot, the Blazegold tools and armor are the next step up from Ferricore. Tools and armor can be upgraded in the smithing table with the upgrade templates, and they keep their installed upgrades when you do.[16][21]
How does Just Dire Things work?
8 parts
Most machines in Just Dire Things come in two variants, simple and advanced. Simple versions need no power, but can generally only affect the block or entity directly in front of them. Advanced versions need power, can usually affect a large area you set in the UI, have filters, and automatically charge any Forge Energy items placed inside them.[15]
Controls every machine shares
The redstone button decides when a machine runs. By default redstone is ignored and the machine always runs. Low runs it only when it is NOT receiving a signal, High only when it is, and Pulse does a single operation per pulse. For a simple machine that is usually one thing, like breaking 1 block. For an advanced one it may mean breaking everything in its area.[22]
The Speed(ticks) button sets how often the machine runs. The default is 20, which is once per second. You can go as low as 1, which is every tick, but only do that when you really need it because it can add lag. The pack leaves general.minimum_machine_tick_speed at 1, so that floor is available here.[18][22]
The Machine Settings Copier saves you re-clicking the same options. Shift-right click a machine to copy its settings, then right click another machine to paste them. Click in the air to open a menu and pick which settings to copy.[23]
Advanced machine areas and filters
Click 'Render area' to see in the world what a machine will affect. The RAD button changes the radius and the OFF button moves the center of the area with an offset. Try them with 'render area' switched on.[24]
Most advanced machines have a row of filter slots for items, blocks or entities. You can drag from JEI or click a slot with a stack in hand. To filter entities, use a spawn egg or a Creature Catcher. The allow/deny button flips the list: in allow mode only the listed things are affected, in deny mode everything BUT those is. Compare NBT makes filters stricter, for example matching enchantments or a specific sheep color.[24][25]
Automation machines
- Block Breaker: it uses a tool in its slot to break the block in front, and cannot work without one. It damages the tool or consumes power each break, just like a player. The advanced version covers a larger area and can filter by block or by item drop. A direction button matters mainly for tools with a hammer-like ability.[26][27]
- Block Placer: when powered it places the block in its inventory in front of it, and a direction button helps with things like torches. The advanced version's filters pick which blocks it may place on, and they respect the direction setting.[28][29]
- Clicker: it simulates right click, left click or hold click with the item in its slot, and the target button picks what to click on (blocks, air, hostile, passive, adult, child, player or all living). The advanced version adds area and filters, so left clicking hostiles makes a mob farm and right clicking adults makes an animal breeder. In this pack general.clicker_limit_tick_acceleration is true, so a Clicker only clicks once per real game tick even under a tick accelerator mod.[18][30][31]
- Swapper: place two, then use a Ferricore Wrench on the first and then the second to bind them. They swap the blocks and/or entities in front of them, and block entities like chests swap fine. The advanced version adds area and filtering, and bound swappers copy their radius to each other. In this pack the swapper blacklists keep Draconic Evolution blocks and entities from being moved.[18][32][33]
- Dropper: the direction button sets where items drop (down by default) and the number button sets the stack size, up to 64 for a whole stack. The pickup delay defaults to 0. The advanced version has a 3x3 grid, an offset instead of a radius, and filter slots whose order is the drop order.[34][35]
- Sensor: it emits a redstone signal when its conditions are met, and can target blocks, air, mobs, players or items. Right click the filter slot to filter on a specific block state, such as a door open or closed. The advanced version counts matches, for example sensing fewer than 10 adult cows and enabling a clicker to feed them.[36][37]
- Item Collector: it works like an advanced machine even though it is made from tier 1 resources. It vacuums item entities in its area into the inventory it is attached to, with a filter and an adjustable pickup speed.[38]
- Fluid Collector and Placer: the simple collector grabs fluid in front of it into a buffer that holds only 1 fluid at a time. The simple placer places fluid in front of it once more than 1,000mb is available and the space is free. The advanced versions cover a larger area and use filters.[39][40][41][42]
- Player Accessor: it lets hoppers or pipes insert into and extract from a player's inventory, and the UI buttons choose which side reaches which slots. In this pack dimension blacklisting is off, and the validation time is 100.[18][43]

Experience Holder and Inventory Holder
The Experience Holder stores levels, and the + and - buttons move 1 level at a time (Shift for 10, Ctrl for all). Its area of effect can keep nearby players at a target level, set with the number button and triggered by the redstone button, for example always topping you off to level 30 at an enchanting table. 'Collect Experience' absorbs nearby orbs and ignores the redstone state. It is also a fluid tank that converts XP into XP Fluid at 20mb per 1 experience point, and it keeps its experience when broken.[44]
The Inventory Holder acts like a chest with a player-style inventory. Control-click an item to save it as a slot filter, then use 'Filtered Items Only', 'Compare Stack Sizes' and the pipe and hopper buttons to control how automation can insert and extract. Pull Items, Push Items and swap inventory buttons move things between you and the block.[45]
Power and fuel
The Simple Coal Generator burns any furnace fuel and also the specialized coals, where higher tiers raise both FE per tick and total FE. In this pack it outputs 1,000 FE per tick, holds 1,000,000 FE, burns fuel at 4 times speed, and makes 15 FE per burn tick of fuel. The config notes coal has 1600 burn ticks.[18][46]
The Simple Fuel Generator uses refined liquid fuels, in 3 tiers. In this pack it outputs 1,000 FE per tick and holds 1,000,000 FE. Tier 2, 3 and 4 refined fuel give 4,000, 16,000 and 64,000 FE per mB respectively.[18][47]
The Pocket Generator is the portable option for charging FE tools and armor. Insert coal or the mod's upgraded coals, and higher tier fuels give more FE per tick. In this pack it charges other items at 5,000 FE per tick, holds 1,000,000 FE, and uses the same burn speed multiplier of 4 and 15 FE per fuel tick as the Simple Coal Generator. Celestigem armor stores 10,000 FE per piece and Eclipse Alloy armor 500,000 FE, so you will want one.[12][13][14][18]
The Fuel Canister stores fuel in bulk and can go into furnaces and generators, which then draw from it, so you do not waste a whole piece of coal on 1 ore. Any fuel works except lava buckets, and you cannot get items back out. Fuel from this mod brings its multiplier and averages it with what is already inside. The pack caps it at 10,000,000 fuel ticks and 200 ticks consumed per furnace operation.[18][19]

The pack changed this recipe from the mod default.
The Energy Transmitter moves power wirelessly. Connect it to a generator so its buffer fills, then set an area of effect, and any Forge Energy receiver inside gets filled. You can filter receivers, and transmitters inside each other's area balance with no loss. Normal transfer does lose some energy. In this pack the loss is 1 percent per block of distance, the buffer is 1,000,000 and it sends 1,000 per tick.[18][48]
Goo
Goo converts blocks placed next to it, and each tier handles stronger blocks. Primogel turns iron into Ferricore, Blazebloom turns gold into Blazegold, VoidShimmer turns diamonds into Celestigem, and Shadowpulse turns netherite into Eclipse Alloy. Higher tiers can do everything lower tiers can, and are much faster.[5][6][7][8][17]
- Craft a goo block and place it in your world.[17]
- Activate it by feeding it the resource it can consume, which the goo block indicates.[17]
- Place an eligible block next to the activated goo to start the transformation.[17]
After a conversion there is a 10% chance the goo needs reactivating with another item. While inactive it cannot start new conversions, but ongoing ones finish. In this pack goo.goo_can_die is true and goo.goo_death_chance is 0.1.[17][18]
The pack also uses goo.gooSpreadingSpecificDimensions to restrict some kubejs input blocks so that each is only converted in one dimension: the Overworld, the Nether or the End.[18]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: justdirethings:gooblock_tier1
Primogel Goo, the first tier, uses the mod's own recipe.
Placing a coal block next to a Primogel Goo gives Primal Coal, which lasts longer than normal coal and gives more FE per tick in generators.[49]
Time and paradox
The Time Wand needs both Forge Energy and Time Fluid. Right click a ticking block, such as a furnace or crops, to double its speed, and click again for 4x, 8x and so on. Each step costs FE and Time Fluid based on how big the speed-up is, and lasts 30 seconds. In this pack the maximum is 256x, each use costs 100 FE and 16 Time Fluid multiplied by 2 to the power of the level, and the wand holds 100,000 FE and 8,000 mB. Fake players such as Clickers cannot use it, and blocks from kubejs, Avaritia and Draconic Evolution cannot be accelerated.[18][50]

Time Crystal growth follows the dimensions by default in this pack: stage 1 in the Overworld, stage 2 in the Nether and stage 3 in the End, because custom dimensions are off.[18]
The Paradox Machine takes a snapshot of an area, then restores what you cleared. Place the blocks (raw ores only) or entities in its area, press 'snapshot', clear them, and activate the machine. A button switches between entities only, blocks only or both. Restored entities may not be exactly identical to the original.[51]
In this pack each restored block costs 1,000 RF and 10 mB of fluid, and each entity costs 5,000 RF and 50 mB. The machine holds 10,000,000 RF and 64,000 mB. Each restored block adds 0.5 paradox energy and each entity adds 2, and at 100 a Paradox entity spawns. Blocks with kubejs or creative in their id cannot be saved.[18]
Fluid-powered tools
The Portal Gun fires a blue portal on left click and an orange one on right click. The Advanced Portal Gun adds a favorites menu and must be filled with Portal Fluid. In this pack the Advanced Portal Gun uses 5,000 FE and 500 mB of portal fluid per shot, and its portals last 6,000 ticks.[18][53][54]
The Adv. Polymorphic Wand has random and targeted polymorph abilities. In this pack it holds 200,000 FE and 32,000 mB of polymorphic fluid, and each polymorph costs 1,000 mB. Several mod namespaces, such as Cataclysm and Botania, are blacklisted as polymorph results.[18][55]
How do you progress through Just Dire Things?
5 parts
Just Dire Things climbs through four material tiers: Ferricore, Blazegold, Celestigem and Eclipse Alloy. Goo is what moves you up. Primogel Goo turns Iron into Ferricore, Blazebloom Goo turns Gold into Blazegold, VoidShimmer Goo turns Diamonds into Celestigem, and Shadowpulse Goo turns Netherite into Eclipse Alloy.[5][6][7][8]
To use goo, craft a goo block and place it, feed it the resource it asks for to activate it, then put an eligible block next to it. After a transformation there is a 10% chance the goo needs reactivating by feeding it another item. Higher tier goo can do everything lower tiers can, and does it much faster.[17]

Primogel Goo, the first tier of goo, is crafted from simple Overworld materials.
How the quest book lays it out
The pack's quest book has a "JustDireThings" chapter in the Production group. It is chapter 41 of 44 and has 147 quests. The Ferricore items have no prerequisite listed. Each Blazegold tool, armor piece and bow quest comes after its Ferricore version, each Celestigem one after Blazegold, and each Eclipse Alloy one after Celestigem.[4]
- Raw materials: Raw Ferricore, then Raw Blazegold, then Raw Eclipse Alloy.[4]
- Goo soil: Primogel Soil, then Blazebloom Soil, then VoidShimmer Soil, then Shadowpulse Soil.[4]
- Goo blocks: the OR Filter quest (which asks for Primogel Goo), then Blazebloom Goo, VoidShimmer Goo and Shadowpulse Goo.[4]
- Wands: Blazejet Wand, then Voidshift Wand, then Eclipsegate Wand.[4]
- Paxels: Celestigem Paxel comes after the Celestigem Shovel, Axe and Pickaxe quests. Eclipse Alloy Paxel comes after the Eclipse Alloy Pickaxe, Shovel and Axe quests.[4]
Celestigem has its own quest in the AllTheModium chapter, where it is one of the items listed before the Unobtainium Ingot quest. The Eclipse Alloy Ingot quest is in the Extended Crafting chapter.[56][57]
Moving up a tier
Raw materials become ingots by smelting or blasting. The pack also adds an alloy smelter recipe for each of the three raw materials.[16]
Alloy Smelting (enderio)
Recipe id: enderio:smelting/justdirethings/ferricore_ingot_smelted

Where the pack changes things
The pack changes several recipes, and some tie into its Infinity chain. The recipes for the Blazejet Wand, Polymorphic Wand and Eclipsegate Wand are marked as changed by the pack. The Blazejet and Polymorphic wands use Infinity 1, and the Eclipsegate Wand uses Infinity 9.[16]
The pack also adds its own recipes for the Eclipse Alloy Axe, Hoe and Bow, each using Infinity 1, and for the Time Wand.[16]

How does Just Dire Things work with other mods?
2 parts
In this pack, Just Dire Things is wired into the endgame of a lot of other mods. The pack's scripts change some of its recipes to need outside items, and plenty of other mods' recipes ask for Just Dire Things materials in return.[16]
Other mods' items inside Just Dire Things recipes
The pack changed the Blazejet Wand recipe. It now needs an Infinity 1 next to a Ferricore Ingot, so you can't make it from this mod's own materials alone.[16]

Which Project Infinity 0.1 quests use Just Dire Things?
5 parts
Nearly all of Just Dire Things sits in one chapter of the quest book: JustDireThings, in the Production group. Almost every quest there asks you to hand in a single item from the mod, and the order comes from which quest comes after which. Three other chapters also ask for one of the mod's items.[4]
Where the JustDireThings chapter starts
Some quests have no previous quest, so you can take them in any order. These are the entry points.[4]
- Ferricore gear: the chapter asks you for a tool, armor piece or bow in each of these quests: a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings" and a quest in "JustDireThings".[4]
- Raw materials: a quest in "JustDireThings" asks for Raw Ferricore and starts a chain of raw material quests.[4]
- Simple tier items: these quests ask for the Simple version of each item: a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings" and a quest in "JustDireThings".[4]
- Utility items and wands: the quests a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings" and a quest in "JustDireThings" each ask for one item.[4]
- Goo starters: a quest in "JustDireThings" asks for Primogel Soil. a quest in "JustDireThings" asks for Primogel Goo together with an OR filter item and an iron block. a quest in "JustDireThings" asks for the Patchouli guide book.[4]
Tool and armor tiers
The gear quests run through four tiers: Ferricore, then Blazegold, then Celestigem, then Eclipse Alloy. Each quest comes after its counterpart in the tier below. For example, a quest in "JustDireThings" comes after the Ferricore sword quest, a quest in "JustDireThings" after the Blazegold axe quest, and a quest in "JustDireThings" after the Celestigem sword quest. The bow quests follow the same pattern, from Ferricore Bow up to Eclipse Alloy Bow.[4]
The raw material quests run a quest in "JustDireThings", then a quest in "JustDireThings", then a quest in "JustDireThings". The paxel quests are the only ones that come after several tool quests. a quest in "JustDireThings" comes after the Celestigem shovel, axe and pickaxe quests, and a quest in "JustDireThings" comes after the Eclipse Alloy pickaxe, shovel and axe quests.[4]
Advanced items, wands and goo
- Each Simple tier quest has an Advanced follow-up quest: a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings" and a quest in "JustDireThings".[4]
- a quest in "JustDireThings" comes after the Polymorphic Wand quest, and a quest in "JustDireThings" comes after the Portal Gun quest.[4]
- The wand quests run a quest in "JustDireThings", then a quest in "JustDireThings", then a quest in "JustDireThings".[4]
- The soil quests run a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", then a quest in "JustDireThings".[4]
- The goo quests start at the OR Filter quest and continue with a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings", then a quest in "JustDireThings".[4]
Upgrade quests
The upgrade quests hang off the tool and armor quests. a quest in "JustDireThings" and a quest in "JustDireThings" come after the Ferricore boots quest, and a quest in "JustDireThings" comes after the Ferricore pickaxe quest. a quest in "JustDireThings", a quest in "JustDireThings" and a quest in "JustDireThings" all come after the Eclipse Alloy chestplate quest. a quest in "JustDireThings" and a quest in "JustDireThings" come after the Eclipse Alloy helmet quest. Some upgrades, such as Drops Teleport, Smelter and Instant Break, appear in several quests, each one coming after a different tool.[4]
Other chapters that ask for the mod
- AllTheModium (Production group): a quest in "AllTheModium" asks for Celestigem and has no previous quest. It is one of the quests that come before a quest in "AllTheModium".[56]
- Extended Crafting (Production group): a quest in "Extended Crafting" asks for Eclipse Alloy Ingot and sits among the many ingot quests in that chapter.[57]
- EndGame (Storyline group): a quest in "EndGame" asks for an Oak Sieve and Shadowpulse Goo. a quest in "EndGame" comes after it and after a quest in "EndGame".[59]
Which Just Dire Things config options matter?
6 parts
Everything for Just Dire Things lives in one file, config/justdirethings-common.toml. Below are the values this pack sets for the options you are most likely to touch.[18]
Power and fuel
- Generator T1: generator_t1.generator_t1_fe_per_tick is 1,000, generator_t1.generator_t1_max_fe is 1,000,000, generator_t1.generator_t1_burn_speed_multiplier is 4 and generator_t1.generator_t1_fe_per_fuel_tick is 15.[18]
- Pocket Generator: pocket_generator.pocket_gen_fe_per_tick is 5,000, pocket_generator.pocket_gen_max_fe is 1,000,000, pocket_generator.pocket_gen_burn_speed_multiplier is 4 and pocket_generator.pocket_gen_fe_per_fuel_tick is 15.[18]
- Fluid Generator T1: generator_fluid_t1.generator_fluid_t1_fe_per_tick is 1,000 and generator_fluid_t1.generator_fluid_t1_max_fe is 1,000,000.[18]
- Refined fuels give 4,000 FE per mB for T2 (fluid_fuel.fuel_tier2_fe_per_mb), 16,000 for T3 (fluid_fuel.fuel_tier3_fe_per_mb) and 64,000 for T4 (fluid_fuel.fuel_tier4_fe_per_mb).[18]
- Fuel Canister: it holds up to 10,000,000 ticks of fuel (fuel_canister.fuel_canister_maximum_fuel), and each furnace operation consumes 200 ticks (fuel_canister.fuel_canister_minimum_ticks_consumed). Lower is more efficient.[18]
- Energy Transmitter T1: it stores 1,000,000 RF (energy_transmitter_t1.energy_transmitter_t1_max_rf), moves up to 1,000 RF per tick (energy_transmitter_t1.energy_transmitter_t1_rf_per_tick) and loses 1 percent per block of distance (energy_transmitter_t1.energy_transmitter_t1_loss_per_block).[18]
Tool ability limits
Abilities like ore miner and tree feller are capped per tool tier. Ferricore breaks up to 64 blocks (tools.tool_max_break_ferricore), Blazegold 128 (tools.tool_max_break_blazegold), Celestigem 192 (tools.tool_max_break_celestigem) and Eclipse Alloy 256 (tools.tool_max_break_eclipsealloy).[18]
Wands and the Portal Gun
- Time Wand cost: each use costs 100 FE (time_wand.time_wand_rf_cost) and 16 of time fluid (time_wand.time_wand_fluid_cost), both multiplied by the acceleration rate (2^level). The maximum multiplier is 256 (time_wand.time_wand_max_multiplier).[18]
- Time Wand storage: it holds 100,000 FE (time_wand.time_wand_rf_capacity) and 8,000 mB of time fluid (time_wand.time_wand_max_fluid). Fake players such as Clickers cannot use it, because time_wand.time_wand_fake_player_allowed is false.[18]
- Time Wand block blacklist: the pack blocks anything from kubejs, avaritia and draconicevolution (time_wand.time_wand_block_blacklist).[18]
- Portal Gun: each shot costs 5,000 FE (portal_gun.portal_gun_fe_cost) and 500 mB of portal fluid (portal_gun.portal_gun_fluid_cost). Portals stay open for 6,000 ticks (portal_gun.portal_gun_lifespan), and the gun holds 1,000,000 FE (portal_gun.portal_gun_max_fe) and 8,000 mB of fluid (portal_gun.portal_gun_max_fluid).[18]
- Original Portal Gun: each shot costs 1,000 FE (portal_gun_original.portal_gun_original_fe_cost), portals stay open for 3,000 ticks (portal_gun_original.portal_gun_original_lifespan) and it holds 100,000 FE (portal_gun_original.portal_gun_original_max_fe).[18]
- Polymorphic Wand V2: a random polymorph uses 1,000 mB of polymorphic fluid (polymorphic_wand_v2.random_polymorph_cost) and so does a targeted one (polymorphic_wand_v2.target_polymorph_cost). It holds 32,000 mB (polymorphic_wand_v2.polymorphic_wand_v2_max_fluid) and 200,000 FE (polymorphic_wand_v2.polymorphic_wand_v2_max_fe). The first Polymorphic Wand holds 8,000 mB (polymorphic_wand.polymorphic_wand_max_fluid).[18]
- Polymorph blacklist: the pack blocks entities from many mods, including pneumaticcraft, avaritia, twilightforest, thermal, mutantmonsters, justdirethings, cyclic, cataclysm and botania, plus a few single bosses (polymorphic_wand_v2.polymorph_blacklist).[18]
Paradox Machine
- Each block restored costs 1,000 RF (paradox_machine.paradox_rf_per_block) and 10 mB of fluid (paradox_machine.paradox_fluid_per_block).[18]
- Each entity restored costs 5,000 RF (paradox_machine.paradox_rf_per_entity) and 50 mB of fluid (paradox_machine.paradox_fluid_per_entity).[18]
- Restoring builds paradox energy: 0.5 per block (paradox_machine.paradox_energy_per_block) and 2 per entity (paradox_machine.paradox_energy_per_entity). At a maximum of 100 (paradox_machine.paradox_energy_max) a ParadoxEntity spawns.[18]
- The machine holds 10,000,000 RF (paradox_machine.paradox_total_rf_capacity) and 64,000 mB of fluid (paradox_machine.paradox_total_fluid_capacity).[18]
- Blocks with kubejs or creative in their ID are blacklisted (paradox_machine.paradox_block_blacklist), and paradox_machine.paradox_restricted_mobs is true, so only safe mob data fields are restored.[18]
Goo and Time Crystals
Goo blocks can die: goo.goo_can_die is true, with a 0.1 chance (10%) of deactivating after each conversion (goo.goo_death_chance). The file names 0.1 as the default, so the pack matches it.[18]
The pack also restricts goo spreading by dimension: kubejs:infinity_10_block only converts in the Overworld, kubejs:infinity_10_1_block only in the Nether and kubejs:infinity_10_2_block only in the End (goo.gooSpreadingSpecificDimensions).[18]
Time Crystal growth uses the normal rules: time_crystal.time_crystal_custom_dimensions is false, so Stage 1 grows in the Overworld, Stage 2 in the Nether and Stage 3 in the End.[18]
Machines and interface
general.minimum_machine_tick_speed is 1, meaning machines can run every tick. The cooldown overlay sits at X 91 and Y 70 (overlay_position.overlay_x_position, overlay_position.overlay_y_position). Dimension blacklisting for the Player Accessor is off (player_accessor.player_accessor_dimensional_blacklisting is false), and its validation time is 100 (player_accessor.player_accessor_validation_time).[18]

Config options (how Project Infinity 0.1 sets them)
71 settings this pack ships for the mod. We don't have the mod's own defaults to compare them against yet.
Show settings
| Setting | Project Infinity 0.1 value |

block_swapper.swapper_block_blacklist Blocks the Block Swapper cannot move, matched by regex against the full block ID. Each entry is a regex searched (not fully matched) against the block ID, so partial matches work. Example: "draconicevolution:chaos_crystal" blocks that exact block, or "^draconicevolution:" blocks all blocks from that mod. Note: the swapper_deny block tag also controls this and is checked first. config/justdirethings-common.toml | ["^draconicevolution:"] |
block_swapper.swapper_entity_blacklist Entities the Block Swapper cannot teleport, matched by regex against the full entity ID. Each entry is a regex searched (not fully matched) against the entity ID, so partial matches work. Example: "draconicevolution:chaos_guardian" blocks that exact entity, or "^draconicevolution:" blocks all entities from that mod. config/justdirethings-common.toml | ["draconicevolution"] |
energy_transmitter_t1.energy_transmitter_t1_loss_per_block The energy loss per block distance in percent config/justdirethings-common.toml | 1 |
energy_transmitter_t1.energy_transmitter_t1_max_rf The maximum energy storage config/justdirethings-common.toml | 1000000 |
energy_transmitter_t1.energy_transmitter_t1_rf_per_tick The maximum RF transmitted per tick to machines and other transmitters config/justdirethings-common.toml | 1000 |
fluid_fuel.fuel_tier2_fe_per_mb FE generated per mB of Refined Fuel T2 config/justdirethings-common.toml | 4000 |
