Which Ender IO config options matter?
8 parts
Same as in the Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 guide
Ender IO keeps its settings in several files under config/enderio. Below are the options you are most likely to touch, with the value this pack sets for each. Energy values are in uI, the unit the config comments use.[1][2]
Power generation
- Stirling Generator base output: energy.stirlingGenerator.generation is 40 uI/t.[2]
- Stirling Generator burn rate: energy.stirlingGenerator.burnSpeed is 0.375.[2]
- Stirling Generator fuel efficiency starts at 80 percent, set by energy.stirlingGenerator.fuelEfficiencyBase.[2]
- Each capacitor level adds 20 to that efficiency, set by energy.stirlingGenerator.fuelEfficiencyStep.[2]
- Soul Engine storage: energy.soul_engine.capacity is 100,000.[2]
- Photovoltaic cell output at midday without rain or thunder: energy.photovoltaicCellRates.energetic is 4 for the energetic cell.[2]
- energy.photovoltaicCellRates.pulsating is 16 for the pulsating cell.[2]
- energy.photovoltaicCellRates.vibrant is 64 for the vibrant cell.[2]
Capacitor banks
- Basic capacitor bank: energy.capacitor_bank_capacity.basic is 500,000.[2]
- Advanced capacitor bank: energy.capacitor_bank_capacity.advanced is 2,000,000.[2]
- Vibrant capacitor bank: energy.capacitor_bank_capacity.vibrant is 4,000,000.[2]
Machine power use
- Alloy Smelter base consumption: energy.alloySmelter.usage is 20 uI/t.[2]
- Alloy Smelter capacity: energy.alloySmelter.capacity is 64,000.[2]
- SAG Mill base consumption: energy.sagMill.usage is 20 uI/t.[2]
- Slicer base consumption: energy.slicer.usage is 30 uI/t.[2]
- Soul Binder base consumption: energy.soulBinder.usage is 60 uI/t.[2]
- Soul Binder capacity: energy.soulBinder.capacity is 128,000.[2]
- Crafter cost per crafting recipe: energy.crafter.usage is 3,200 uI.[2]
Powered Spawner
- poweredSpawner.spawn_amount is 4, the number of mobs that spawn from the spawner.[2]
- poweredSpawner.maxentities is 2: that many entities in range turn the spawner off.[2]
- poweredSpawner.maxspawners is 10: beyond that many spawners they lose efficiency.[2]
- [[config:config/enderio/machines-common.toml#poweredSpawner.Spawn Type]] is ENTITYTYPE, so it spawns the same entity types as the soul vial rather than an exact copy of the mob.[2]
- Spawner storage: energy.poweredSpawner.capacity is 100,000.[2]
- Spawner consumption: energy.poweredSpawner.usage is 20 uI/t.[2]
Tools and items
- Travel Staff blink range: items.travelling.blinkRange is 24.[1]
- Travel Staff block to block range: items.travelling.blockToBlockRange is 96.[1]
- Travel Staff energy per teleport: items.travelling.energyUse is 1,000.[1]
- Travel Staff storage: items.travelling.maxEnergy is 100,000.[1]
- Electromagnet pickup range: items.electromagnet.range is 5.[1]
- Electromagnet item limit: items.electromagnet.maxItems is 20.[1]
- Electromagnet storage: items.electromagnet.maxEnergy is 100,000.[1]
- Levitation Staff storage: items.levitationstaff.maxEnergy is 10,000.[1]
- Enderio food teleport chance: items.food.enderioChance is 0.3.[1]
- Enderio food teleport range: items.food.enderioRange is 16.[1]
Dark Steel upgrades
- Empowered upgrade energy storage at the first level: darksteel.upgrades.empowered.maxEnergy_l1 is 100,000.[3]
- At the second level, darksteel.upgrades.empowered.maxEnergy_l2 is 150,000.[3]
- At the third level, darksteel.upgrades.empowered.maxEnergy_l3 is 250,000.[3]
- At the fourth level, darksteel.upgrades.empowered.maxEnergy_l4 is 1,000,000.[3]
- Damage absorption chance at the fourth level: darksteel.upgrades.empowered.damageAbsorptionChance_l4 is 0.85.[3]
- Felling a log with the Dark Steel axe: darksteel.darksteelaxe.energyUsePerFelledLog is 1,500.[3]
Enchanting and Infinity Powder
- Enchanter base level cost added to all recipes: enchanter.baseLevelCost is 2.[2]
- Lapis cost is the enchant level multiplied by enchanter.lapisCostFactor, which is 3.[2]
- The final XP cost is multiplied by enchanter.levelCostFactor, which is 0.75.[2]
- A fire must be 260 ticks old before it can spawn Infinity Powder: grainsOfInfinity.fireMinAge allows 1 to 1000.[1]
- grainsOfInfinity.makesSound is true, so the drop makes a sound.[1]
Client visuals
- visual.machineParticles is true, so machine particles are on.[4]
- Neighbour transparency in the IO config screen: ioconfig.neighbourTransparency is 0.4.[5]
- Aversion Obelisk range box colour: blocks.aversionRangeColor is 8B0000.[5]
- Drain range box colour: blocks.drainRangeColor is FFA500.[5]
- Powered Spawner range box colour: blocks.poweredSpawnerRangeColor is FF0000.[5]
