What is Reliquary Reincarnations?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 5.5 guide
Reliquary Reincarnations is part of this pack, which ships version 2.0.65 of the mod built for Minecraft 1.21.1. It isn't a new addition either: it has been in the pack since an early release.[1]
Unverified No confirmed details are available yet on what the mod adds, who it's aimed at, or how it fits into the pack's progression, so those parts of the overview are on hold until they can be checked.
How do you get started with Reliquary Reincarnations?
5 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2: Aero 1.10.0 guide
Reliquary Reincarnations leans heavily on mob drops. The Catalyzing Gland, a Creeper and Ghast drop, shows up in a lot of the recipes below, so hunting those mobs is your first job. Chest loot is switched on too (chestLootEnabled), so you may also find some Reliquary items while exploring.[2][3][4]
Start with the cheap piece
The Condensed Potion Vial is a simple craft, so you can make it straight away. You'll want it once you start on potions, and there is even a Glowing Water recipe that uses it.[2]

Mortar, then cauldron
The Apothecary Mortar grinds ingredients into potion essence, so it comes first. Its recipe uses a Catalyzing Gland, which is why Creepers are worth hunting early.[2][3]

Next is the Apothecary Cauldron, which brews potions from that essence. Its recipe asks for an Infernal Claw, and the claw has a recipe of its own, so craft that first.[2][3]

In this pack the cauldron accepts up to 2 glowstone to make a potion more potent and up to 3 redstone to make it last longer. Both are the mod defaults (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.glowstoneLimit and blocks.apothecaryCauldron.redstoneLimit).[4]
A glowstone source
The Altar of Light turns redstone into glowstone. Activating it costs 3 redstone (blocks.altar.redstoneCost), and it takes 20 minutes (blocks.altar.timeInMinutes) to produce a glowstone block. A random extra of up to 5 minutes can be added on top (blocks.altar.maximumTimeVarianceInMinutes). These are the mod defaults, and the pack hasn't changed them.[3][4]

Infinite water
The Emperor's Chalice works as an infinite water bucket. The pack changed its recipe, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's default.[2][3]
Later goals
The Tome of Alkahestry duplicates certain items by spending charge, and its limit here is 1,000. You can also right-click an Altar of Light with it to fuel the altar with redstone from the tome. Its recipe needs many different drops, so save it for after the basics.[2][3][4]

How does Reliquary Reincarnations work?
7 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2: Aero 1.10.0 guide
In this version of the pack, Reliquary is less about big machines and more about a handful of small systems: a slow glowstone grower, a potion workstation, a crop booster and pedestals that automate your gear. Almost everything is tuned in one file, and where the pack changed something I'll say so.[3][4]
Altar of Light
The Altar of Light takes redstone and grows glowstone. You can fuel it by right-clicking it with the Tome of Alkahestry, which pays from the tome's own charge.[3]
Activating it costs 3 redstone (blocks.altar.redstoneCost). It then needs 20 minutes (blocks.altar.timeInMinutes) to make a glowstone block, plus a random extra of up to 5 minutes (blocks.altar.maximumTimeVarianceInMinutes). While active it gives off light level 16 (blocks.altar.outputLightLevelWhileActive). All of these match the mod defaults, so the pack leaves the altar alone.[4]

Tome of Alkahestry
In this pack, the tome duplicates certain items and blocks when you craft with them, spending its stored charge. It holds up to 1,000 charge (items.alkahestryTome.chargeLimit), which is the mod default. Right-click it to read its in-game page.[3][4]

Potions: mortar and cauldron
In this pack, potions are a two-step process. The Apothecary Mortar grinds ingredients into potion essence, then the Apothecary Cauldron brews that essence into potions.[3]
In the cauldron you can add up to 2 glowstone to make a potion stronger (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.glowstoneLimit) and up to 3 redstone to make it last longer (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.redstoneLimit). The cook time is 160 (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.cookTime), the mod default.[4]

Finished potions feed other crafts. A Lingering Condensed Potion lets you make Tipped Arrow and re-tip Blaze Shot, and each of those crafts gives you 8 at a time. The setting disable.potion would switch off the whole potion system, but in this pack it is false.[2][4]

Lilypad of Fertility
The Lilypad of Fertility speeds up crop growth around it. It causes a growth tick every 10 seconds (blocks.fertileLilypad.secondsBetweenGrowthTicks) within a radius of 4 (blocks.fertileLilypad.tileRange). Within a radius of 1 (blocks.fertileLilypad.fullPotencyRange) the ticks happen most often.[3][4]
The pack changed this recipe. It is now an infusion recipe from another mod rather than the mod's own crafting, so check the recipe below.[2]

Pedestals and automation
In this pack, the Pedestal automates the items placed in it. The display-only passive pedestal does nothing but show an item off. The pack changed the recipe for the black passive pedestal.[2][3]

What a pedestal does depends on the item inside it. These are the values in this pack for the main ones:[4]
- Bucket: acts every 40 ticks and picks up liquid blocks or milks cows within 4 blocks (blocks.pedestal.bucketWrapperCooldown, blocks.pedestal.bucketWrapperRange).[4]
- Melee weapon: attacks within 5 blocks, with 5 ticks between swings (blocks.pedestal.meleeWrapperRange, blocks.pedestal.meleeWrapperCooldown).[4]
- Fishing rod: 80 percent success rate, and a 2 second delay before it fishes again after retracting the hook (blocks.pedestal.fishingWrapperSuccessRate, blocks.pedestal.fishingWrapperRetractDelay).[4]
- Redstone: pedestals within 10 blocks get turned on when a redstone block is put in, or when redstone dust is put in and transmitting pedestals are powered (blocks.pedestal.redstoneWrapperRange).[4]
- Harvest Rod: hoes, plants, bonemeals and breaks crops within 4 blocks of the pedestal, with 5 ticks between actions (items.harvestRod.pedestalRange, items.harvestRod.pedestalCooldown).[4]
- Hero's Medallion: checks pedestals within 5 blocks for mending items that need fixing (items.heroMedallion.pedestalRange). It tries a repair every 20 ticks and uses at most 5 xp each time (items.heroMedallion.repairCoolDown, items.heroMedallion.repairStepXP).[4]
- Mob charm or Charm Belt: keeps monsters from attacking players within 21 blocks (items.mobCharm.pedestalRange).[2][4]
- Rending Gale: buffs players within 30 blocks with flight, at a cost of 2 per second (items.rendingGale.pedestalFlightRange, items.rendingGale.pedestalCostPerSecond).[4]
Items that store their own fuel
Many Reliquary tools keep an internal charge that you top up by using the right item from your inventory. The limits in this pack:[4]
- Harvest Rod: holds up to 250 bonemeal and uses 1 per use (items.harvestRod.boneMealLimit, items.harvestRod.boneMealCost).[4]
- Ender Staff: holds up to 250 ender pearls, uses 1 per cast and 1 per teleport to the wraith node (items.enderStaff.enderPearlLimit, items.enderStaff.enderPearlCastCost, items.enderStaff.enderPearlNodeWarpCost).[4]
- Destruction Catalyst: stores up to 250 gunpowder and spends 3 per use (items.destructionCatalyst.gunpowderLimit, items.destructionCatalyst.gunpowderCost).[4]
- Glacial Staff and Ice Magus Rod: each holds up to 250 snowballs (items.glacialStaff.snowballLimit, items.iceMagusRod.snowballLimit).[4]
- Infernal Chalice: stores up to 500,000 mB of lava (items.infernalChalice.fluidLimit).[4]
- Void Tear: holds up to 2,000,000,000 items of the type it is set to (items.voidTear.itemLimit).[4]
This is where the pack made a change. The Rending Gale holds up to 30,000 feathers (items.rendingGale.chargeLimit), where the mod default is 300. Each feather you feed it adds 100 (items.rendingGale.chargeFeatherWorth), and a lightning bolt costs 100 (items.rendingGale.boltChargeCost).[4]
Chalice, vial and charms
In this pack, the Emperor's Chalice works as an infinite water bucket. Enable it to drain water and disable it to place water. The pack changed its recipe.[2][3]
In this pack, the Angelheart Vial resurrects you once and then breaks. It heals 25 percent of your max life and removes negative statuses (items.angelheartVial.healPercentageOfMaxLife, items.angelheartVial.removeNegativeStatus). The pack limits it to a stack size of 1.[3][4][5]

Mob charms have 80 durability, lose 1 for each kill of the mob they protect you from, and gain 20 back when that mob drops a special item (items.mobCharm.durability, items.mobCharm.damagePerKill, items.mobCharm.dropDurabilityRepair).[4]
In this pack, the Interdiction Torch repels creatures within a radius of 5 (blocks.interdictionTorch.pushRadius). It does not push projectiles (blocks.interdictionTorch.canPushProjectiles).[3][4]
Which Reliquary Reincarnations config options matter?
4 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide
Reliquary Reincarnations is mostly left alone in this pack. In the common config, only one value is flagged as changed from the mod default. Every other value that lists a mod default matches it.[6]
The one value the pack changed
The Rending Gale can hold far more feathers here. items.rendingGale.chargeLimit is set to 30,000, where the mod default is 300.[6]
The other Rending Gale costs are untouched. items.rendingGale.boltChargeCost is 100 feathers per lightning bolt, items.rendingGale.castChargeCost is 1 feather per cast in flight mode, and each feather you feed it is worth 100 through items.rendingGale.chargeFeatherWorth.[6]
Drops, loot and disabled features
Reliquary mob drops and chest loot are both on, through mobDropsEnabled and chestLootEnabled. dropCraftingRecipesEnabled is false, so the mob drops do not get crafting recipes.[6]
None of the big systems are disabled. The handgun, charms, the Alkahestry tome, pedestals and the potion system all have their disable.handgun, disable.charms, disable.alkahestryTome, disable.pedestal and disable.potion toggles set to false.[6]
Values worth knowing
- Mob Charm: items.mobCharm.durability is 80, each kill costs 1 through items.mobCharm.damagePerKill, and a special drop repairs 20 via items.mobCharm.dropDurabilityRepair. The Ender Dragon and Wither are on the items.mobCharm.entityBlockList.[6]
- Destruction Catalyst: it uses 3 gunpowder per use (items.destructionCatalyst.gunpowderCost) and stores up to 250 (items.destructionCatalyst.gunpowderLimit). items.destructionCatalyst.explosionRadius is 1, and items.destructionCatalyst.perfectCube is true.[6]
- Void Tear: it holds up to 2,000,000,000 items of its set type (items.voidTear.itemLimit) and starts absorbing as soon as it is set, since items.voidTear.absorbWhenCreated is true.[6]
- Interdiction Torch: blocks.interdictionTorch.canPushProjectiles is false, and blocks.interdictionTorch.pushRadius is 5. The Rending Gale, by contrast, has items.rendingGale.canPushProjectiles set to true.[6]
- Rod of Lyssa: stealing from players is allowed (items.rodOfLyssa.stealFromPlayers is true). items.rodOfLyssa.useLeveledFailureRate is true, so your level affects the failure rate, and items.rodOfLyssa.levelCapForLeveledFormula is 100, the level at which the rate stops improving.[6]
Client settings
Nearly every item HUD sits in the BOTTOM_RIGHT corner. The exception is the Mob Charm HUD, which sits on the RIGHT through hudPositions.mobCharm. You can move any of them to BOTTOM_LEFT, LEFT, TOP_LEFT, TOP, TOP_RIGHT, RIGHT or BOTTOM_RIGHT.[7]
waila_shift_for_info is false, so you don't need to sneak to see the extra tooltip details.[7]
