What is Create Propulsion: Simulated?
2 parts
Create Propulsion: Simulated is a NeoForge addon for Minecraft 1.21.1 that adds propulsion-focused Create gameplay to the Sable and Create Aeronautics ecosystem. This pack ships version 1.1.5.[1][2]
The mod adds three thruster types: a fuel-based Thruster, an FE-powered Ion Thruster, and a Creative Thruster for testing and creative builds. It hooks into Sable and Create Aeronautics contraption physics, including force-at-point behavior, so torque and several thrusters on one assembled craft work properly. It also adds Copycat Wings for lightweight aerodynamic building.[1]
What you get in this pack
- Thruster: runs on Turpentine and holds a 1,000 mB tank that lasts 1,000 ticks at full throttle.[3]
- Solid Fuel Thruster: the cheap one. It burns items from the slot on its back, redstone is on or off, and it pushes about a quarter as hard as the liquid thrusters.[3]
- Ion Thruster: skips fuel and drinks 40 FE per tick, and it's the strongest of the three.[3]
- Thrusters built as a 2x2x2 or 3x3x3 block merge. The big versions push 25% and 50% harder and burn 40% and 60% less fuel.[3]
- Vector Thruster: swivels by itself, with redstone on its faces yawing and pitching the nozzle.[3]
- Tilt Adapter: tilts rotational output by an analog signal, up to 90 degrees each way in this pack.[3]
- Wing: a purpose-made lifting surface. The Copycat Wings come in 8 and 12 metre spans and take the texture of any block you click them with.[3]
Where it sits in the quest book
The mod's quests live in the "Aeronautics" chapter, in the Main Questline group. It is chapter 5 of 31 in the book and has 58 quests. The chapter opens with "Taking to the Skies" quest, and "Thrust" quest comes right after it. That quest explains that propellers make thrust from rotation and thrusters make it from fuel.[3]
The thruster quests come after "Portable Engine" quest. Both "Propulsion Thrusters" quest and a quest in "Aeronautics" follow it, and "Vectored Thrust" quest comes after Propulsion Thrusters. "Tilt Adapter" quest follows the Servos quest, and "Wings" quest follows the Sails quest.[3]
The rest of the chapter, 38 of its 58 quests, is in the quest book, so check it in game for the details.[3]
How do you get started with Create Propulsion: Simulated?
4 parts
Create Propulsion gives your ships their engines and wings. In the quest book it sits in the Aeronautics chapter of the Main Questline. Its thruster quests come after "Portable Engine" quest, which itself comes after "Thrust" quest. If you haven't read "Taking to the Skies" quest yet, start there. It explains the weight, lift and thrust basics that everything else builds on.[3]
The pack changes many of this mod's recipes, so trust the recipe cards below rather than what you remember from other packs.[4]
Start cheap with the Solid Fuel Thruster
The Solid Fuel Thruster is the cheap option. It burns items from the slot on its back, and redstone is on or off with nothing in between. It pushes about a quarter as hard as the liquid thrusters. Wrench it to open the hatch and it will pull fuel from a container behind it.[3]
Its base thrust is 200 (solidFuelThruster.solidFuelThrusterBaseThrust), the same as the mod default.[5]

Step up to the liquid Thruster
The Thruster runs on Turpentine. It holds a 1,000 mB tank that lasts 1,000 ticks at full throttle.[3]
The pack raised its base thrust to 800 (thruster.baseThrust) from the mod default.[5]
The fuel chain is short. Crush a spruce log into Pine Resin, then mix the resin with water to get turpentine.[4]

The Ion Thruster, no fuel needed
The Ion Thruster skips fuel and runs on FE instead. The quest book calls it the strongest of the three thrusters. Here are its numbers in this pack:[3]
- It uses 40 FE per tick at full throttle (ionThruster.ionThrusterFePerTickAtFullThrottle).[5]
- Its internal energy capacity is 4,000 FE (ionThruster.ionThrusterEnergyCapacityFe).[5]
- The pack raised its base thrust to 1,200 (ionThruster.ionThrusterBaseThrust) from the mod default.[5]

Wings and steering
Pair thrusters with Wing and you have a plane instead of a blimp. Its quest, "Wings" quest, comes after Sails in the book. The Tempered Wing is the sturdier version, and the Copycat Wing takes the texture of any block you click it with.[3]

Smelt a Wing to get the Tempered Wing.
To steer with thrust, "Vectored Thrust" quest comes after "Propulsion Thrusters" quest. The Vector Thruster swivels by itself, and redstone on its faces yaws and pitches the nozzle.[3]

To aim a propeller while it keeps spinning, use the Tilt Adapter ("Tilt Adapter" quest, which follows Servos). In this pack it tilts up to 90 degrees each way ([[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Tilt Adapter.Maximum angle range]]), where the mod default is 45.[3][5]

How does Create Propulsion: Simulated work?
7 parts
Create Propulsion adds thrusters that push your Sable and Aeronautics contraptions around. The base mod has three thruster types: the standard fuel-burning Thruster, the FE-powered Ion Thruster, and a Creative Thruster for testing. This pack also has vector variants that can yaw and pitch, like the Liquid Vector Thruster. Every thruster needs a redstone signal to actually produce thrust.[1][6]
Thrust values in this pack
Thrust is scaled from base values at redstone strength 15 and full obstruction efficiency. For the standard thruster, effective thrust is baseThrust multiplied by the fuel's thrust percent, divided by 100. The pack raised the thruster values above the mod defaults: thruster.baseThrust is 800, ionThruster.ionThrusterBaseThrust is 1200 (mod default 800), and the liquid vector and vector thrusters are both 1100 in liquidVectorThruster.liquidVectorThrusterBaseThrust and vectorThruster.vectorThrusterBaseThrust.[5]
Thrusters also scan behind the nozzle for obstructions. The scan covers 10 blocks by default, set in thruster.obstructionScanLength. Entities standing in an active plume are damaged while thruster.damageEntities is true. Atmospheric pressure only affects output at altitude if physics.useAtmosphericPressure is turned on, and it is false here.[5]
Fuel handling
A thruster takes its configured fuels through connected pipes, and fluids that aren't valid fuels do nothing. Each thruster has an internal tank of 1,000 mB (thruster.fuelTankCapacityMb) and burns 1 mB per tick at full redstone throttle (thruster.fuelMbPerTickAtFullThrottle). The liquid vector thruster has the same 1,000 mB tank and 1 mB per tick figure in its own options.[5][6]
Every fuel has an efficiency percentage and a burn rate percentage. Here are a few from the pack's config:[5]
- Turpentine ([[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Fuel Configuration.fuelProperties.createpropulsion_turpentine.efficiency]]): efficiency 100, burn rate 150.[5]
- Mekanism hydrogen: efficiency 230, burn rate 90.[5]
- Create: Diesel Generators gasoline: efficiency 125, burn rate 80.[5]
- Lava: efficiency 75, burn rate 100.[5]
The config has entries for fuels from several other mods, including TFMG, Create Crafts & Additions, Immersive Engineering, Northstar and Stellaris. If a fluid has no entry, add it to [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Fuel Configuration.additionalThrusterFuelLines]] in the format fluid_id=efficiencyPercent,burnRatePercent. Entries there override matching fluids from the table.[1][5]
The mod's own fuel is Turpentine. You crush a spruce log into Pine Resin, then mix the resin with water.[4]
Multiblock thrusters
You can build bigger thrusters out of normal ones. A 2x2x2 multiblock is made of 8 normal thrusters, and a 3x3x3 is made of 27. You power the whole thing by applying redstone to a thruster in it.[6]
Bigger multiblocks give a thrust bonus and cheaper running costs. The 2x2x2 uses a thrust multiplier of 1.25, a fuel cost multiplier of 0.6 and an oxidizer cost multiplier of 0.85. The 3x3x3 uses 1.5, 0.4 and 0.75. Ion thruster multiblocks get +30% (2x2x2) and +40% (3x3x3) thrust instead. All of these values match the mod defaults.[5]
Oxidizer is the high-energy fluid used to stabilize and power large multiblock thrusters. The pack changed its mixing recipe.[4][6]
Ion thrusters, cables and the Coral Generator
The ion thruster runs on FE. It holds 4,000 FE internally (ionThruster.ionThrusterEnergyCapacityFe) and uses 40 FE per tick at full redstone throttle (ionThruster.ionThrusterFePerTickAtFullThrottle). The pack changed its recipe.[4][5]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: createpropulsion:crafting/ion_thruster
To get FE to it, use Cable blocks. Each cable block moves at most 1,000 FE per tick ([[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Cable.Energy transfer]]). The mod also has a Cable Relay, and the pack changed the recipes for both.[4][5]

The Coral Generator converts Coral fluid into FE and outputs power from its top and bottom faces. You make Coral by mixing, and the config conversion rate for Coral is 500 ([[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Fuel Configuration.coralFuelConversionRates.createpropulsion_coral]]). The pack changed the generator's recipe.[4][5][6]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: createpropulsion:crafting/coral_generator
Vector steering
The liquid vector thruster yaws and pitches when powered by redstone and fueled with liquid fuel. A Tilt Adapter turns a redstone differential into an output angle. The pack doubled its maximum from the mod default of 45 to 90 degrees ([[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Tilt Adapter.Maximum angle range]]). The Advanced Tilt Adapter has configurable maximum angles on each side, and holding Ctrl while setting a value toggles shared limits. Its cap is 90 degrees per side.[5][6]
The Redstone Transmission has two control modes, switched from its value panel. Direct mode maps the input signal straight to the output ratio, so a full signal gives full configured output. Incremental mode shifts the output step by step: input on one side increases the shift and input on the opposite side decreases it.[6]
Burners and Stirling Engines
The Liquid Burner burns valid liquid fuels to produce heat, and connected heat consumers start working once it is burning. Liquid burners can be chained and can pass fluid through while burning. Burners also support a redstone thermostat override, which makes fuel get consumed continuously. The Solid Burner heats compatible machines above it, and a Stirling Engine generates rotational force when heated from below. The pack changed the Liquid Burner recipe.[4][6]
Crafting Shaped

In this pack the burner options are all on: burners heat Create steam engines, seething burners count as superheated, vanilla blaze burners can heat Stirling Engines, and both burner types can heat heated mixers, allowing pre-nether brass. The Stirling Engine's [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Stirling Engine.Generated stress units]] is 16, which corresponds to 4,096 SU. Solid burner fuel use is scaled by [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Burners.Solid burner fuel consumption multiplier]], currently 1.[5]
Platinum storage and casing
The Platinum Fluid Tank stores fluids like a Copper Fluid Tank, but with doubled capacity per block. The Platinum Fluid Vessel does the same compared to the Copper Fluid Vessel. The pack changed the tank recipe, and you can also convert a vessel into a tank.[4][6]

How do you progress through Create Propulsion: Simulated?
7 parts
Create Propulsion is spread across the quest book rather than sitting in one chapter. Most of it lives in the Aeronautics chapter (Main Questline, chapter 5 of 31), and its power block shows up separately in Power Generation. Use the tiers below as a build order.[3][7]
Step 1: Power on board
In Aeronautics, "Thrust" quest leads to "Portable Engine" quest. That quest names the Stirling Engine from this mod as the other onboard rotation source, and says any Create Propulsion burner can heat it. Those burners are the Solid Burner and the Liquid Burner. The pack changes the recipes for all three, and the blocks below show the in-pack versions.[3][4]

Step 2: Thrusters, cheapest to strongest
Two quests follow the Portable Engine quest: a quest in "Aeronautics" and "Propulsion Thrusters" quest. The second one explains the whole engine family. The Solid Fuel Thruster is the cheap one. It burns items, takes redstone as plain on or off, and pushes about a quarter as hard as its liquid cousins.[3]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: createpropulsion:crafting/solid_fuel_thruster
Next up is the Thruster, which runs on Turpentine. It holds a 1,000 mB tank that lasts 1,000 ticks at full throttle. The pack changes its recipe too.[3][4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: createpropulsion:crafting/thruster
The Ion Thruster needs no fuel and draws 40 FE per tick instead. The quest calls it the strongest of the three.[3]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: createpropulsion:crafting/ion_thruster
You can build any of these as a 2x2x2 or 3x3x3 block and they merge. The big versions push 25% and 50% harder and burn 40% and 60% less fuel.[3]
Making fuel
Turpentine is a Create mixing recipe made from Pine Resin, and the resin comes from crushing a spruce log. The Oxidizer mixing recipe is changed by the pack, so check the version below rather than the mod's default.[4]
Step 3: Steering the thrust
"Vectored Thrust" quest comes after the thruster quest. The Vector Thruster swivels its own nozzle, with redstone on its faces setting yaw and pitch. The Liquid Vector Thruster does the same on Turpentine. Both recipes are pack-changed.[3][4]

"Tilt Adapter" quest follows Servos. The Tilt Adapter tilts rotational output by an analog signal, up to 90 degrees each way in this pack. The Advanced Tilt Adapter lets you set a different limit for each side. Unlike a servo, the adapter keeps the shaft spinning through the tilt, so it suits a propeller you want to aim while it runs.[3]

Platinum
Platinum is this mod's own metal. Platinum Ore, Deepslate Platinum Ore and Raw Platinum all smelt into Platinum Ingot. Platinum also appears in the pack's recipes for the Vector Thruster, Cable, Redstone Converter and Platinum Fluid Tank. In this pack, washing Crushed Raw Gold is another source of Platinum Nugget.[4]

Power generation
The Coral Generator has its own quest, a quest in "Power Generation", in the Power Generation chapter (group Resources & Logistics, chapter 10 of 31). It consumes liquid coral to produce 5,000 RF/t. The pack changes its recipe, and Coral is mixed in a Create mixer.[4][7]

How does Create Propulsion: Simulated work with other mods?
6 parts
Create Propulsion is built on top of Create, and in this pack its recipes also pull in parts from several other mods. Most of its crafting recipes are marked as changed by the pack. Only the Redstone Transmission and Advanced Tilt Adapter recipes are left as the mod ships them.[4]
Create and FTB Materials plates
Engines and structural parts combine Create components with FTB Materials plates. That includes the Thruster, Solid Fuel Thruster, Stirling Engine and Wing. The recipe below is the pack's version of the Thruster.[4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: createpropulsion:crafting/thruster
The Advanced Tilt Adapter keeps the mod's own recipe, which the pack leaves unchanged. It is the step up from the basic Tilt Adapter, and the recipe below shows how it brings in Create's Precision Mechanism. In the quest book, the Tilt Adapter tilts rotational output by an analog signal, up to 90 degrees each way in this pack, and the Advanced Tilt Adapter lets you set a different limit for each side.[3][4]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: createpropulsion:crafting/advanced_tilt_adapter
Simulated
Simulated supplies the redstone and sensing parts for the more advanced engines. The Ion Thruster uses the Redstone Accumulator and Redstone Inductor. The Vector Thruster is built from an Ion Thruster plus a Gimbal Sensor. The Liquid Vector Thruster also uses the gimbal sensor, on top of a regular Thruster. The Redstone Converter needs a Redstone Accumulator too.[4]

Recipe id: createpropulsion:crafting/vector_thruster
Platinum and Create processing
Platinum ties the mod into Create's machines. Crushing Platinum Ore or Deepslate Platinum Ore gives Crushed Raw Platinum and Nuggets of Experience. Smelting the crushed ore gives a Platinum Ingot, and washing it gives Platinum Nugget with other nuggets.[4]
The pack also changed Create's washing of Crushed Raw Gold. It can now give a Platinum Nugget alongside gold nuggets and quartz.[4]
The pack defines both a deploying and an item application recipe for the Platinum Casing, and both are changed by the pack. They work with the FTB Materials Platinum Ingot and Create's Block of Industrial Iron, as the recipe below shows. The casing is the base for the Cable Relay.[4]
Deploying (create)
Recipe id: createpropulsion:deploying/platinum_casing
Tanks get a platinum version too. The Platinum Fluid Tank and Platinum Fluid Vessel both have pack-changed recipes that start from Create's Fluid Tank, and the tank recipe is shown below. A second recipe makes the Platinum Fluid Vessel from the Fluid Vessel of Create Connected.[4]

Create New Age
The Coral Generator connects to Create New Age through its Electrical Connector. It also uses Create's Threshold Switch.[4]

Mechanical Cart
The pack adds two recipes for the Mechanical Cart that use Vector Thrusters. One is a Create sequenced assembly, and the other is a Modern Industrialization constructor recipe that needs two Vector Thrusters.[4]
Sequenced Assembly (create)
Recipe id: ftb:compat/fargostalismans/create/sequenced_assembly/mechanical_cart
In the quest book
These items appear in the "Aeronautics" chapter of the Main Questline. "Propulsion Thrusters" quest comes after Portable Engine and covers the Solid Fuel Thruster, Thruster and Ion Thruster. According to the quest, the Ion Thruster runs on FE instead of fuel, drawing 40 FE per tick. "Vectored Thrust" quest follows it and covers the Vector Thruster, and the Servo Bearing as the other way to aim an engine. "Tilt Adapter" quest comes after Servos, and "Wings" quest comes after Sails. The chapter has 58 quests and only some are shown in the sources, so read the rest in the quest book.[3]
Unverified The mod's project page lists fuel support from Create: The Factory Must Grow, Create: Crafts & Additions, Create: Diesel Generators, Immersive Engineering, Mekanism: Generators, Northstar: Redux and Stellaris. Whether those mods are installed in this pack, and which of their fuels work here, is not confirmed.
Which FTB Skies 2: Aero quests use Create Propulsion: Simulated?
3 parts
Create Propulsion shows up in two quest chapters: Aeronautics, in the Main Questline group (chapter 5 of 31), and Power Generation, in the Resources & Logistics group (chapter 10 of 31). Most of its items sit on the Aeronautics branches below.[3][7]
Aeronautics: the engine branch
Everything starts at "Taking to the Skies" quest, which leads to "Thrust" quest. From there you go to "Portable Engine" quest, and the thruster quests hang off that one.[3]
- a quest in "Aeronautics" comes straight after the Portable Engine and asks you to hand in a Solid Fuel Thruster.[3]
- "Propulsion Thrusters" quest also follows the Portable Engine. It asks for the Solid Fuel Thruster and the Thruster.[3]
- "Vectored Thrust" quest comes after Propulsion Thrusters and asks for the Vector Thruster.[3]
The Propulsion Thrusters quest explains the family. The Solid Fuel Thruster is the cheap one: it burns items from the slot on its back, redstone is simply on or off, and it pushes about a quarter as hard as its liquid cousins. The Thruster runs on Turpentine and has a 1,000 mB tank that lasts 1,000 ticks at full throttle. The Ion Thruster drinks 40 FE per tick and is the strongest of the three.[3]
You can build any of them as a 2x2x2 or 3x3x3 block and they merge. The big versions push 25% and 50% harder and burn 40% and 60% less fuel.[3]
The Vectored Thrust quest is about steering with thrust. The Vector Thruster swivels by itself: redstone on its faces yaws and pitches the nozzle. The quest also covers the Servo Bearing route, where any thruster mounted on the bearing pivots up to 90 degrees.[3]
The Portable Engine quest mentions the Stirling Engine from Create Propulsion as the other onboard rotation source, and says any Create Propulsion burner can heat it.[3]
Aeronautics: wings and tilting
On the lift branch, "Lift" quest leads to "Sails" quest, and then to "Wings" quest, which asks for the Wing. The quest also mentions the sturdier Tempered Wing and Copycat Wings in 8 and 12 metre spans. It suggests pairing wings with thrusters to build a plane rather than a blimp.[3]
On the controls branch, "Controls" quest leads to "Servos" quest, and then to "Tilt Adapter" quest, which asks for the Tilt Adapter. In this pack it tilts rotational output by an analog signal, up to 90 degrees each way. The Advanced Tilt Adapter lets you set a different limit per side. Unlike a servo, which holds an angle, the adapter keeps the shaft spinning through the tilt, so it suits a propeller you want to aim while it runs.[3]
One more mention: the Honey Glue quest, on the hull branch, says Create Propulsion adds an Auto Glue item that draws one honey box over a whole connected structure in a single click.[3]
Power Generation
a quest in "Power Generation" asks for the Coral Generator. The quest says it consumes liquid coral to produce 5,000 RF/t. The chapter lists no quest that has to be finished before it.[7]
Which Create Propulsion: Simulated config options matter?
5 parts
Most of what matters in the Create Propulsion: Simulated configs is thrust. The pack raised the base thrust of every thruster type above the mod default. Every one of these options is described as tuned for 1,000-unit thrust scale parity with Sable physics.[5]
Values the pack changed
- thruster.baseThrust is 800 in this pack. The mod default is 533.333333333. This is the base thrust of the standard thruster at redstone 15 and full obstruction efficiency, and effective thrust is baseThrust * fuel_thrust_percent / 100.[5]
- ionThruster.ionThrusterBaseThrust is 1,200 here, up from a mod default of 800.[5]
- vectorThruster.vectorThrusterBaseThrust and liquidVectorThruster.liquidVectorThrusterBaseThrust are both 1,100 here. The mod default for each is 733.333333333.[5]
- [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Creative Thruster.creativeThrusterBaseThrust]] and creativeVectorThruster.creativeVectorThrusterBaseThrust are both 1,000 here, up from a mod default of 666.666666667. These are the starting thrust values in kN when you place the block.[5]
- creativeVectorThruster.creativeVectorThrusterMaxThrust is 10,000 here, up from 6,666.666666667. This is the highest value the scroll can reach on a creative vector thruster.[5]
- [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Tilt Adapter.Maximum angle range]] is 90 degrees here, double the mod default of 45. It is the maximum output angle, reached at full redstone differential.[5]
Fuel and energy use
Fuel use is left at the mod default. A standard thruster burns thruster.fuelMbPerTickAtFullThrottle = 1 mB per tick at full throttle, and its tank holds 1,000 mB (thruster.fuelTankCapacityMb). The liquid vector thruster uses the same numbers. The ion thruster draws 40 FE per tick at full throttle (ionThruster.ionThrusterFePerTickAtFullThrottle) and stores 4,000 FE (ionThruster.ionThrusterEnergyCapacityFe).[5]
Each fuel has an efficiency and a burn rate, both given as percentages, under Fuel Configuration. The pack leaves all of them at the mod default. Diesel from Create: Diesel Generators is 100 efficiency and 100 burn rate ([[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Fuel Configuration.fuelProperties.createdieselgenerators_diesel.efficiency]]). Gasoline is 125 efficiency with an 80 burn rate. Mekanism hydrogen is 230 efficiency with a 90 burn rate ([[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Fuel Configuration.fuelProperties.mekanism_hydrogen.efficiency]]). If you want a fluid that has no entry, [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Fuel Configuration.additionalThrusterFuelLines]] is where you add it. It is empty in this pack.[5]
Multiblock thrusters
The multiblock bonuses are the mod defaults. A 2x2x2 multiblock gets a thrust multiplier of 1.25 and a fuel cost multiplier of 0.6. A 3x3x3 gets 1.5 thrust and 0.4 fuel cost. The settings are multiblockThruster.multiblock2xThrustMultiplier, multiblockThruster.multiblock2xFuelEfficiency, multiblockThruster.multiblock3xThrustMultiplier and multiblockThruster.multiblock3xFuelEfficiency.[5]
Burners, damage and physics
- All four burner toggles are on: [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Burners.Burners heat steam engines]], [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Burners.Burners superheat steam engines]], [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Burners.Burners power heated mixers]] and [[config:config/createpropulsion-common.toml#Burners.Blaze burners heat stirling engines]]. With the mixer option on, solid and liquid burners can heat heated mixers, which allows pre-nether brass.[5]
- thruster.damageEntities is true, so entities standing in an active thruster plume take damage.[5]
- physics.useAtmosphericPressure is false, so altitude does not change thruster output.[5]
Client options
[[config:config/createpropulsion-client.toml#Thruster Plumes.renderMode]] is set to PARTICLE. You can switch it to SHADER if you prefer the procedural plume shader. Debug.Thruster is off. Turn it on to see the plume ray, obstruction hits and damage zones, which is handy when a thruster seems to be underperforming.[8]
What changed in Create Propulsion: Simulated between versions?
2 parts
FTB Skies 2: Aero 1.10.0 includes Create Propulsion: Simulated 1.1.5, and the mod has been in the pack since 1.0.3 or earlier. I don't have pack changelog entries for this mod, so everything below comes from the mod's own changelogs for 1.1.4 and 1.1.5.[2]
1.1.5 (the version in this pack)
This is the big one, and it's what you're playing with in 1.10.0. Here are the headline additions:[2][9]
- New Solid Fuel Thruster, with data-driven solid thruster fuels that support datapacks and KubeJS. Blaze Cake and Creative Blaze Cake were added as solid thruster fuels.[9]
- New Advanced Tilt Adapter with configurable left and right angle limits.[9]
- New Platinum Fluid Vessel with doubled fluid capacity, plus mounted fluid storage support for Platinum Tanks and Vessels.[9]
- Solid Fuel Thruster automation and CC:Tweaked peripheral support, and Cosmonautics compatibility.[9]
- Reworked thruster plumes with particle and shader rendering modes, better plumes on moving, turning, vector and multiblock thrusters, and new startup, loop and shutdown effects and sounds. Ion Thrusters got their own dedicated sounds.[9]
- Thrust and resource consumption now scale with effective output, and multiblock thrust, fuel and oxidizer efficiency are configurable.[9]
- The mod now requires Sable 2.0.3+, and the bundled Simulated, Aeronautics and Offroad dependencies were updated.[9]
There were plenty of fixes too:[9]
- Ion Thruster FE consumption and partial-energy calculations were fixed.[9]
- Liquid Vector Thruster fuel storage and goggles information were fixed.[9]
- Multiblock thrust is no longer applied off-center, copied multiblock thrusters keep their controller topology, and multiblock ComputerCraft peripherals work again.[9]
- Tilt Adapter target drift, motion and angle handling were fixed.[9]
- Inactive meshed thrusters no longer display flames, and the plume bounding boxes and particle curvature were corrected.[9]
- The Solid Fuel Thruster model and collision shape were fixed.[9]
- Platinum Casing is now mineable and drops itself.[9]
Under the hood, cable energy routing was reworked to process each network once per tick, and thruster synchronization and rendering performance were improved. The creative tab was also reorganized into sections.[9]
1.1.4
This release introduced data-driven fuels support, which 1.1.5 later built on for solid thruster fuels. It also added a Multiblock Ion Thruster and a Multiblock Creative Thruster, and replaced some disputed textures.[9][10]
- Fixed the Fluid Vector Thruster not accepting fuel.[10]
- Fixed some mod cables not working with the Ion Thruster and Vector Thruster.[10]
- Fixed the Cable Relay disappearing when wrenched.[10]
- Fixed a Solid Burner duplication bug, plus fixes for the diagram thrust display, oxidizer calculations, the Tilt Adapter and fuel sync.[10]
- The Coral Generator can now be placed horizontally.[10]
