What is Mystical Agradditions?
1 part
Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture that bolts a whole extra tier onto the top of the essence ladder. Where the base mod stops, this one adds tier 6 essence (Insanium) plus tier 6 resource crops for high-end materials, Paxels that roll a pickaxe, axe and shovel into one tool, and Essence Coal that smelts more items than ordinary coal.[1]
This pack ships version 8.0.0 for Minecraft 1.21.1, and the mod has been part of the pack since at least an early release, so it is a fixture of the farming progression rather than a late addition.[2]
Where it fits in progression
You meet it early and keep meeting it. The pack's Mystical Agriculture quest chapter threads Agradditions content through every essence tier: an essence apple and a tool choice that includes the matching Paxel at Inferium (a quest in "?", a quest in "?"), then the same pairing at Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium.[3]
The real step up comes after Supremium. Crafting Insanium Essence (a quest in "?") unlocks the tier 6 branch, which asks for Insanium Apple and Insanium Farmland. That farmland is the gateway to the tier 6 crops: once you have it, the chapter opens three crux quests for the Nether Star Crux, Dragon Egg Crux and Nitro Crystal Crux, each paired with its matching seed.[3]
Beyond that, the chapter's top-end tool quest accepts the Awakened Supremium Paxel alongside the rest of the awakened Supremium gear, so the Paxel stays a valid pick all the way to the end of the line.[3]
Unverified The mod's published crop list (Gaia Spirit, Awakened Draconium, Neutronium and others) was last documented for an older mod version, so which tier 6 crops exist in this pack's build beyond the Nether Star, Dragon Egg and Nitro Crystal ones covered by quests is not confirmed here. The same goes for the mod's Tinkers' Construct integration.
How do you get started with Mystical Agradditions?
3 parts
Mystical Agradditions is an add-on, not a standalone mod: it bolts extra content onto Mystical Agriculture. That means your starting point here is the same as over there, growing essence. Once essence is flowing, this mod gives you paxels, essence apples, essence coal, and eventually a sixth essence tier called Insanium with its own set of high-end crops.[1]
Because everything keys off essence tier, the practical order is simple: make the low-tier goodies as soon as you can afford the essence, then save up for Insanium. The quest chapter follows that same shape, with a tool quest and an apple quest sitting at each essence tier.[1][3]
Step one: a paxel
A paxel rolls a pickaxe, an axe and a shovel into one tool, so it is usually the very first thing worth building from this mod. You craft it from the three matching Mystical Agriculture tools of that tier, which makes it an easy upgrade the moment you have a full tool set. The pack's tool quest at each tier accepts the paxel as well, so Inferium Paxel can close out a quest in "?" on its own.[1][3][4]

Higher tiers follow the same pattern, up to the Supremium Paxel.
Step two: apples and coal
Essence apples are a cheap early sink for spare essence, and the pack has a quest for each one, starting with Inferium Apple for a quest in "?".[3][4]

Essence coal is the other easy win: it cooks more items than regular coal, so infusing your coal stacks is a quiet fuel upgrade long before you have real power generation. Every tier has its own version, and each one packs into a storage block and back out again.[1][4]
Step three: Insanium
The real goal is Insanium Essence, the tier 6 essence, which unlocks the rest of the mod. Getting one is the pack's a quest in "?", and it opens up the Insanium branch of the chapter.[1][3][4]

With Insanium in hand, make Insanium Farmland next for a quest in "?". That farmland is the gate to the tier 6 crops, since the three crux quests all sit behind it.[3][4]
You can also till plain dirt with Insanium Essence directly.
From there the chapter branches into the tier 6 crops: a quest in "?" for Dragon Egg Crux, a quest in "?" for Nether Star Crux and a quest in "?" for Nitro Crystal Crux, each wanting the matching seeds too.[3][4]
Beyond that, Insanium behaves like the lower tiers: it has its own gemstone, ingot, nugget and blocks, plus Insanium Apple for a quest in "?".[3][4]
How does Mystical Agradditions work?
7 parts
Mystical Agradditions is an add-on that bolts a whole extra tier onto Mystical Agriculture. It brings the tier 6 essence, Insanium, tier 6 resource crops for the really expensive materials, Paxels that roll a pickaxe, axe and shovel into one tool, Tinkers' Construct integration, and Essence Coal that cooks more items than ordinary coal.[1]
There are no machines or multiblocks of its own here. Everything in this mod runs through Mystical Agriculture's existing systems: you grow crops on farmland, you infuse essence at a crafting table, and the higher tiers simply sit on top of the chain you already know.[1][4]
Insanium, the tier 6 essence
Insanium Essence is the centre of the mod. You make it by upgrading Supremium Essence with an infusion crystal, exactly the way you stepped up the lower tiers.[1][4]

There is also a bulk route that works straight from a Supremium storage block, which is handy once your Supremium farm is producing faster than you can craft single essences.[4]

Insanium storage behaves like every other essence tier. Nine essences pack into an Insanium Block, and the block unpacks back into essence whenever you need it, so you can keep a compact buffer in a drawer or barrel and pull from it on demand.[4]

From there the essence branches into the crafting materials the tier 6 gear needs. Combining it with Prosperity Ingots gives you Insanium Ingot, and combining it with Prosperity Gemstones gives you Insanium Gemstone. Both have their own storage blocks, Insanium Ingot Block and Insanium Gemstone Block, plus matching uncrafting recipes, and Insanium Nugget rounds out the ingot line.[4]
Tier 6 crops
Tier 6 crops are the reason to climb this far. The mod's crop list covers Nether Star and Dragon Egg from vanilla, Gaia Spirit from Botania, Awakened Draconium from Draconic Evolution, Neutronium from Avaritia and Nitro Crystal from Powah.[1]
Insanium Farmland is the tier 6 farmland, made by working Insanium Essence into ordinary farmland.[4]
Boss drops and the Dragon Egg Crux
Two of the mod's ingredients come from boss fights. Dragon Scale drops from the Ender Dragon when it dies, and the Withering Soul drops from the Wither.[5]
This pack sets General.dragonScalesAmount to 8, so each dragon kill hands you eight scales, and General.witheringSoulChance to 0.35, which is the chance a Wither drops a Withering Soul at all. Wither kills are a gamble; dragon kills are not.[6]
Dragon Scales feed the Dragon Egg Crux, a dedicated block built from scales, Insanium Essence and diamond blocks.[4]

Unverified The sources available for this guide do not describe how the Dragon Egg Crux is placed or used with the Dragon Egg crop, so check it in-game or in JEI before building around it. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Essence Coal
Essence Coal is the mod's fuel line: it cooks more items than regular coal, and there is a variant for each essence tier. You make it by infusing plain coal with the matching essence, which means Inferium Coal is cheap enough to mass produce early and Insanium Coal is the top-end furnace fuel.[1][4]
Every tier also has a coal block, such as Inferium Coal Block, Imperium Coal Block and Insanium Coal Block, with uncrafting recipes back to the loose coal. Blocks are the better shape for piping fuel around, since one insert carries nine coal worth of burn time.[4]

Unverified Exact burn times for each Essence Coal tier are not in the sources used for this guide; hover the item in-game to see the value this pack uses.
Paxels and Tinkers' integration
Paxels combine a pickaxe, an axe and a shovel into a single tool, so you carry one item instead of three. You build each one from the three finished Mystical Agriculture tools of that tier, which means a Paxel is an upgrade step rather than a fresh craft.[1][4]

On the Tinkers' Construct side, the mod adds its own modifiers. Prosperous gives tools and weapons a chance to drop Prosperity Shards as you work, and Soul Siphoner makes weapons siphon Mob Souls the way a Soulium Dagger does, which is a neat way to keep your Soul Jars filling while you fight normally. A Molten Supremium Bucket also exists, so Supremium has a smeltery fluid form.[5]
Essence Apples
Each essence tier has an apple made from a golden apple, from Inferium Apple through Imperium Apple to Insanium Apple. In this pack General.essenceAppleDuration is set to 180, so each apple's effects last 180 seconds.[4][6]

World generation
The mod's extra ore generation is fully enabled here. World.generateNetherInferiumOre and World.generateNetherProsperityOre are both true, as are World.generateEndInferiumOre and World.generateEndProsperityOre. If you are already mining in the Nether or the End, keep an eye out for Inferium and Prosperity ore there instead of grinding it all in the Overworld.[6]
How do you progress through Mystical Agradditions?
3 parts
Mystical Agradditions doesn't have its own tier ladder, it rides along on the essence tiers you're already climbing in Mystical Agriculture. Every tier from Inferium up to Supremium gets three extras here: an apple, a coal, and a paxel. Then, past Supremium, the mod adds a brand new tier of its own called Insanium, plus the giant crop crux blocks.[4]
The pack's quest chapter for this mod family follows exactly that shape. Each essence tier unlocks two Agradditions quests side by side: one asking for that tier's apple, and one that accepts any tool of that tier, including the paxel from this mod as a valid submission.[3]
Inferium through Supremium
- Inferium: hand in an Inferium Apple for the apple quest, and the tool quest accepts an Inferium Paxel.[3]
- Prudentium: the Prudentium Apple quest and a tool quest that takes the Prudentium Paxel.[3]
- Tertium: the Tertium Apple quest and a tool quest that takes the Tertium Paxel.[3]
- Imperium: the Imperium Apple quest and a tool quest that takes the Imperium Paxel.[3]
- Supremium: the Supremium Apple quest and a tool quest that takes the Supremium Paxel.[3]
The apples all follow the same pattern across tiers (a golden apple ringed in that tier's essence) so once you've made one you know how to make them all. Here's the Inferium one as your template.[4]

The higher tiers swap in Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium, Supremium or Insanium essence.
The paxels work the same way: they fuse that tier's axe, pickaxe and shovel onto a wooden rod. That means you need three finished tools of a tier before you can make its paxel, so if you're doing the tool quest anyway, building toward the paxel ticks both boxes.[4]

Each tier also has a coal variant (coal infused with that tier's essence) and each of those compresses into a block and comes back out again. They're a side branch rather than a progression gate, but they're a handy fuel sink for spare essence at every tier.[4]
Insanium: the tier past Supremium
Insanium Essence is where this mod stops being an add-on and becomes its own tier. It's made from Supremium essence and an infusion crystal, and the pack's quest for it sits right alongside the Supremium apple and Supremium tool quests, so it opens up as soon as you're comfortably making Supremium.[3][4]

Once you have Insanium essence flowing, it opens up the rest of the tier: an Insanium Gemstone and Insanium Ingot made by infusing prosperity gemstones and ingots, the matching storage blocks and nuggets, Insanium Coal, and the Insanium Apple.[4]
Insanium Farmland and the crux crops
The quest after Insanium essence is Insanium Farmland, and it's the real gate. You make it by infusing farmland with Insanium essence, or by tilling dirt with the essence directly.[3][4]
That farmland quest branches into the three crux crops, the endgame of this mod. Each one is a 3x3 multiblock crop that needs its crux block placed on Insanium Farmland, and the pack gives each its own quest asking for both the seeds and the crux.[3]
- a quest in "?" wants dragon egg seeds and a Dragon Egg Crux, which is built around a Dragon Scale.[3][4]
- a quest in "?" wants nether star seeds and a Nether Star Crux, which needs a nether star and a Withering Soul.[3][4]
- a quest in "?" wants nitro crystal seeds and a Nitro Crystal Crux, which pulls a Nitro Capacitor and Nitro Crystal from Powah!.[3][4]
The harvests from those crops convert back into the real thing: dragon egg essence crafts into a Dragon Egg Chunk, and nether star essence crafts into a Nether Star Shard. That's how you turn one-off boss drops into a renewable farm.[4]

The last Agradditions item on the ladder is the Awakened Supremium Paxel. It's made on the Awakening altar from a finished Supremium Paxel plus awakened supremium gear and the four elemental essences, and the pack's awakened tool quest accepts it.[3][4]

How does Mystical Agradditions work with other mods?
4 parts
Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture, so that is its biggest connection in the pack. It also reaches into Powah and Productive Bees, and the pack adds a few recipes of its own that tie it to other mods. Here's where those links show up.[1][4]
Mystical Agriculture
Almost everything this mod adds is built on Mystical Agriculture items. The tiered apples, the essence coals and the paxels (Tertium, Imperium, Prudentium, Supremium and the rest) all use items from that mod. The ores in the Nether and the End smelt into Mystical Agriculture materials: the Inferium ores give Inferium Essence, and the Prosperity ores give Prosperity Shard.[4]
The mod's tier 6 material, Insanium Essence, is also crafted from Mystical Agriculture ingredients, and Insanium Block comes from the same family of items.[1][4]

The quest chapter for Mystical Agriculture follows this progression. It has quests for the apples, such as a quest in "?", and for each tier's tools or paxel, such as a quest in "?". It also covers Insanium Essence (a quest in "?") and Insanium Farmland (a quest in "?"). The crux quests, a quest in "?", a quest in "?" and a quest in "?", each pair a seed with its crux item.[3]
Powah
Nitro Crystal Crux is where Powah comes in. Its recipe uses Powah's Nitro Capacitor and Nitro Crystal, and the matching quest has you get both the Nitro Crystal seeds and the crux.[3][4]

Productive Bees

Unverified The mod's project page also mentions Tinkers' Construct support and resource crops for Botania, Draconic Evolution and Avaritia. Which All the Mods 10 quests use Mystical Agradditions?
4 parts
Everything for this mod sits in a single quest chapter, "elmystical_agriculturerr", which is shared with Mystical Agriculture. The quests have no titles in the pack files, so I'll refer to them by their ids. The order below follows each quest's prerequisite, from the Inferium tier up to the crux seeds.[3]
Tier quests: apples and tools
Each essence tier gets a pair of quests that unlock together after the same earlier quest. One asks for the tier's apple from this mod. The other asks for a tool of that tier. Each tool quest lists many options (sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, watering can, bow and more), and the paxel from this mod is one of them. The quest asks for any one of those items.[3]
- Inferium: a quest in "?" asks for the Inferium Apple. a quest in "?" accepts an Inferium tool, including the Inferium Paxel. Both come after the same earlier quest in the chapter.[3]
- Prudentium: a quest in "?" asks for the Prudentium Apple. a quest in "?" accepts a Prudentium tool, including the Prudentium Paxel.[3]
- Tertium: a quest in "?" asks for the Tertium Apple. a quest in "?" accepts a Tertium tool, including the Tertium Paxel.[3]
- Imperium: a quest in "?" asks for the Imperium Apple. a quest in "?" accepts an Imperium tool, including the Imperium Paxel.[3]
- Supremium: a quest in "?" asks for the Supremium Apple. a quest in "?" accepts a Supremium tool, including the Supremium Paxel.[3]
Insanium and farmland
Another quest unlocks after the same earlier quest as the Supremium pair: a quest in "?", which asks for Insanium Essence. Once it is done, two more open up. a quest in "?" asks for the Insanium Apple, and a quest in "?" asks for Insanium Farmland.[3]
Crux quests
Three quests unlock after the Insanium Farmland quest. Each has two tasks: the Mystical Agriculture seeds for a resource, and the matching crux from this mod.[3]
- a quest in "?" asks for Dragon Egg Seeds and the Dragon Egg Crux.[3]
- a quest in "?" asks for Nitro Crystal Seeds and the Nitro Crystal Crux.[3]
- a quest in "?" asks for Nether Star Seeds and the Nether Star Crux.[3]
Awakened Supremium tools
a quest in "?" asks for any Awakened Supremium tool, including the Awakened Supremium Paxel. It comes after a different quest in the chapter. Which tier that quest belongs to isn't shown in the source.[3]
Which Mystical Agradditions config options matter?
3 parts
Mystical Agradditions has a small config file, and these are the options you're most likely to care about. All the values below are what this pack sets in its common config.[6]
Boss drops
- General.dragonScalesAmount is set to 8 in this pack. This is how many Dragon Scales an Ender Dragon drops when killed, and the allowed range is 0 to 64.[6]
- General.witheringSoulChance is set to 0.35 in this pack. This is the chance that a Wither drops a Withering Soul when killed, on a scale from 0.0 to 1.0.[6]
Crops and food
- General.fertilizableTier6Crops is false in this pack. That means tier 6 crops can't be fertilized with Mystical Fertilizer or Fertilized Essence, so plan on waiting for them to grow.[6]
- General.essenceAppleDuration is set to 180 in this pack. This is the duration of each Essence Apple's effects, in seconds.[6]
Ore generation
All four ore generation toggles are set to true in this pack, so both Inferium and Prosperity ore generate in the Nether and in the End.[6]
- World.generateNetherInferiumOre and World.generateNetherProsperityOre control the Nether ores.[6]
- World.generateEndInferiumOre and World.generateEndProsperityOre control the End ores.[6]
Unverified The pack's config file only lists the values this pack uses, not the mod's own defaults. So I can't confirm which of these options the pack changed from the default.
What changed in Mystical Agradditions between versions?
All the Mods 10 0.51 ships Mystical Agradditions 8.0.0 for Minecraft 1.21.1. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mods 10 0.36 or earlier, so it was already there before the earliest release these sources can place it in.[2]
The only mod changelog entry available is for 8.0.0: it updated the mod to 1.21.1.[7]
Unverified No pack changelog entries for this mod were available, so any changes made to it between pack releases are unverified.
