What is Mystical Agradditions?

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It adds extra content on top of the base mod, and the headline feature is a new tier 6 of essence: Insanium.[1]
This pack ships version 8.0.0 of the mod for Minecraft 1.21.1. It has been in the pack since 0.36 or earlier.[2]
What it adds
- Tier 6 essence, called Insanium.[1]
- Tier 6 crops for high tier materials, including Nether Stars, Awakened Draconium and Neutronium.[1]
- Paxels, which combine a pickaxe, an axe and a shovel in a single tool.[1]

How do you get started with Mystical Agradditions?

This mod is an add-on to Mystical Agriculture, so it doesn't have a starting point of its own: you progress through Mystical Agriculture's essence tiers first, and this mod gives you extra things to do with every tier you unlock along the way. It adds a sixth essence tier called Insanium, tier 6 crops for high-tier materials, paxels that combine a pickaxe, axe and shovel in one tool, and essence coal that cooks more items than regular coal.[1]
Essence coal comes first
The cheapest thing you can make here is essence coal. As soon as you have any Inferium Essence to spare, turn some coal into Inferium Coal, it's a straight upgrade for your furnaces because essence coal cooks more items than regular coal.[1][3]
Every essence tier has its own coal, so as you climb you can craft Prudentium Coal, Tertium Coal, Imperium Coal and Supremium Coal the same way. Each one also has a storage block, and those blocks can be uncrafted back into coal whenever you need the loose items again.[3]

Build a paxel
Once you've made a set of Mystical Agriculture tools at any tier, combine them into a paxel. You lose three tool slots on your hotbar and gain one tool that mines, chops and digs. Start with Inferium Paxel and remake it at Prudentium Paxel, Tertium Paxel, Imperium Paxel and Supremium Paxel as your essence tier goes up.[1][3]

Essence apples for the road
Each tier also has an apple, from Inferium Apple up through Supremium Apple and Insanium Apple. They're a handy use for spare essence and a golden apple while you're farming.[3]

The real goal: Insanium
Everything above is a warm-up for tier 6. Once you're producing Supremium Essence, you can convert it into Insanium Essence, the sixth essence tier this mod adds. That's the gateway to tier 6 crops for materials like Nether Stars and Dragon Eggs.[1][3]

With Insanium Essence in hand, your first crafts should be Insanium Farmland to plant tier 6 crops on, plus Insanium Ingot and Insanium Gemstone for the seeds and gear that need them. There's also an Insanium Block for compact storage, and it uncrafts back into essence.[3]
After that, the tier 6 crops themselves need special crux blocks built next to them, like Nether Star Crux, Dragon Egg Crux and Nitro Crystal Crux. Those need boss drops, Dragon Scale comes from the Ender Dragon and Withering Soul from the Wither, so plan a boss fight before you start that stage.[3][4]
How does Mystical Agradditions work?

Here's the honest picture for this section: the sources I have for Mystical Agradditions don't describe any machines, multiblock structures, power use, fluid handling or automation. I'm only covering what they actually confirm, and I'm flagging the rest as unknown rather than guessing.[1][3]
An add-on to Mystical Agriculture
Mystical Agradditions extends Mystical Agriculture. It adds a sixth tier of essence, Insanium, plus tier 6 crops for high-tier materials, Paxels, Tinkers' Construct integration and Essence Coal.[1]
The Mystical Agradditions recipes visible in the pack's recipe dump are crafting-grid recipes, either shaped or shapeless. The dump lists 24 more recipes without showing them.[3]

You can compress it into an Insanium Block and break that back down into essence in the crafting grid. The pack also has a separate recipe that makes an Insanium Block from a Master Infusion Crystal and a Supremium Block.[3]

Essence Coal
Essence Coal can cook more items than regular coal does. The pack has Inferium Coal, Imperium Coal and Insanium Coal. Here are their recipes:[1][3]
Each coal also has a block form, such as Insanium Coal Block, and you can turn the block back into coal in the crafting grid.[3]

Paxels
Paxels combine a pickaxe, an axe and a shovel in one tool. In this pack, crafting one, such as the Imperium Paxel, takes the matching axe, pickaxe and shovel plus a wooden rod. The Inferium Paxel follows the same pattern.[1][3]

Tinkers' modifiers and boss drops
The Tinkers' Construct integration adds modifiers. Prosperous gives tools and weapons a chance to drop Prosperity Shards, and Soul Siphoner makes weapons siphon Mob Souls like a Soulium Dagger.[1][4]
Some materials come from boss kills. The Ender Dragon drops Dragon Scale on death, and the Wither drops the Withering Soul. The scale goes into the Dragon Egg Crux, which this recipe makes:[3][4]

Unverified Not confirmed by the sources: what the Insanium Farmland does for crop growth, how the Molten Supremium Bucket is made or used, and whether the mod has any machines, multiblocks, power or fluid handling. No in-jar guidebook or config files were available for this mod.
How do you progress through Mystical Agradditions?

This mod builds on Mystical Agriculture's essence tiers, and it adds one new tier of its own: Insanium. In this pack there are no quests for the mod, so progression comes from the recipes alone. Here's how those recipes line up.[3]
Unverified The pack's quest book doesn't appear to have any quests for this mod, and the mod isn't on the ATM Star quest path. If you find a quest that touches it, treat that as new information.
Gear and fuel for each Mystical Agriculture tier
Five existing tiers each get the same set of extras: an apple, a coal, a coal block and a paxel. Every coal block can be uncrafted back into its coal. Each paxel combines that tier's axe, pickaxe and shovel into one tool.[3]

Insanium: the mod's own tier
Insanium Essence is the key material for everything past the Supremium gear. It has a normal crafting recipe, and there is also a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that outputs it along with wax.[3]

Insanium also has its own materials and extras: Insanium Gemstone (with a storage block), Insanium Ingot (with a storage block and Insanium Nugget), Insanium Coal with its coal block, an Insanium Apple, and Insanium Farmland. The farmland can be crafted from regular farmland or made by tilling dirt.[3]

The Dragon Egg Chunk and Nether Star Shard each come from their own Mystical Agriculture essence. A Productive Bees centrifuge recipe in the pack also outputs a Nether Star Shard alongside an ATM Star Shard.[3]

The last gear step shown in the recipes is the Awakened Supremium Paxel. It's an awakening recipe that upgrades your Supremium Paxel, using the four elemental essences plus awakened Supremium materials.[3]

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture, so almost every link to another mod runs through it. Beyond that, the pack's recipes connect it to Powah, Productive Bees and a few pack-specific mods.[1][3]

Productive Bees has centrifuge recipes that produce this mod's items. The insanium honeycomb gives Insanium Essence and Wax. The starry honeycomb gives ATM Star Shard and Nether Star Shard.[3]

What changed in Mystical Agradditions between versions?
The sources for this mod are short, so this history is too. All the Mods 10 0.44 ships Mystical Agradditions version 8.0.0, and the mod has been in the pack since 0.36 or earlier.[2]
The one change recorded in the mod's own changelog is the 8.0.0 release, which updated the mod to Minecraft 1.21.1. The jar in this pack is built for 1.21.1 too.[2][5]
