What is Mekanism:More Machine?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Mekanism:More Machine is an add-on that adds more machines and factories to Mekanism. This pack includes version 1.4.1.[1][2]
What it adds
- Recycler: destroys most useless items or blocks to produce scrap. The project page says dirt and stones were added by default, so you don't accidentally throw important things in. Scrap is the base item for making UU matter.[1]
- Planting Station: consumes nutrient solution to produce crops. The project page says it is compatible with most things that can be grown in vanilla and fully compatible with Mystical Agriculture.[1]
- Replicator: uses UU matter to replicate items. By default it has no recipe.[1]
- Stamper, Lathe and Rolling Mill: general-purpose machines. According to the project page, only the Stamper currently links to Immersive Engineering, AE2 and their accessories.[1]
- Advanced factories: factory versions of slow machines such as the chemical oxidizer, including an oxidizing factory and a dissolving factory. Their multiple threads can greatly improve production efficiency.[1]
Things to know before you build
The Replicator has no recipe by default, and the project page says you need to add the ones you want in the configuration file. For the Lathe and Rolling Mill, the project page says there are no suitable recipes yet, that some may be added in the future, and that you can add recipes yourself if you want to use them.[1]
The mod is not compatible with KubeJS or CraftTweaker. To add your own recipes you need the most primitive methods, such as KubeJS's custom recipe type. The mod's GitHub wiki documents the JSON format for each machine. The advanced factories also don't work with ComputerCraft yet, so you can't precisely control individual slots or tanks that way.[1]
Unverified The sources I was given don't show any quests involving this mod or a place for it on the ATM Star path. They also don't show whether the pack changes any of the mod's defaults, such as adding Replicator recipes, so check in game with JEI and the config folder. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with Mekanism:More Machine?
4 parts
This mod adds new machines and factories to Mekanism. The easiest place to start is its factories: faster versions of Mekanism machines like the chemical oxidizer, plus a new stamper. Here's the order that makes sense in this pack.[1]
Step 1: Build a CNC Stamper
The CNC Stamper is a good first build because its recipe only uses early Mekanism parts, so you can make it once you have steel and basic circuits. It's a general-purpose machine, and it's also the base for the stamping factory line.[1][3]
Mek Data (mekanism)

| any basic alloy | any basic circuit | any basic alloy |
Recipe id: mekmm:cnc_stamper
Step 2: Make your first Basic factory
Each Basic factory is built from the matching single machine, so pick the machine that's slowing you down the most and upgrade that one first. The project page says these factories run multiple threads, which can greatly improve your production.[1][3]
- Basic Oxidizing Factory, Basic Dissolving Factory, Basic Washing Factory and Basic Crystallizing Factory are factory versions of the chemical ore-processing machines.[3]
- mekmm:basic_chemical_infusing_factory, Basic Pressurised Reacting Factory, Basic Centrifuging Factory and Basic Liquifying Factory cover more Mekanism machines.[3]
- Basic Stamping Factory is the factory version of your CNC Stamper.[3]

Step 3: Climb the tiers
Every higher-tier factory is crafted from the factory one tier below it, so you can't skip a tier. Build your factory once and keep upgrading it as your Mekanism progression unlocks better circuits and alloys.[3]
- Basic factory to Advanced factory, for example Advanced Oxidizing Factory.[3]
- Advanced factory to Elite factory, for example Elite Oxidizing Factory.[3]
- Elite factory to Ultimate factory, for example Ultimate Oxidizing Factory.[3]

Later goals
Save the wireless stations for later, because their recipes need late-game Mekanism parts. The Wireless Charging Station sends energy to items. The Wireless Transmission Station moves energy, items, fluids, chemicals and heat wirelessly, and each of those has a configurable maximum rate.[3][4]

Unverified The project page says the Replicator has no recipes by default and needs them added in the config, and that the Stamper has recipes that tie into Immersive Engineering and Applied Energistics 2. The sources don't confirm whether this pack adds Replicator recipes or includes those stamping recipes, so check JEI in your game. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does Mekanism:More Machine work?
7 parts
Mekanism:More Machine adds new machines and factories to Mekanism. It also adds a few larger machines, wireless blocks and new chemical tanks. Here's how each system works, as far as the mod's own descriptions explain it.[1][4]
Nearly every machine in the mod has two energy settings: a base energy storage and an energy cost per operation, both measured in Joules. This applies to the replicators, the CNC machines, the Recycler, the Planting Station and others. Plan your power setup with that in mind.[4]
Unverified The actual energy storage and per-operation values in this pack aren't available, so they aren't listed here.
Factories
Have you ever felt that machines like the Chemical Oxidizer are a bit slow? This mod gives them factory versions. According to the mod author, advanced factories run multiple threads and can greatly improve your production efficiency.[1]
In this pack you'll find factory recipes for centrifuging, chemical infusing, crystallizing, dissolving, liquifying, oxidizing, pressurised reacting, stamping and washing. A Basic factory is built from the matching standalone machine. Each Advanced factory is an upgrade of its Basic version, so you never throw away your earlier investment.[3]

Upgrading to the Advanced tier
The mod's language file names many more tiers beyond Basic and Advanced. For example, it includes Elite, Ultimate, Overclocked, Quantum, Dense, Multiversal and Creative Chemical Infusing Factories.[4]
Unverified The sources don't show recipes for factory tiers above Advanced, so it isn't confirmed how, or whether, you can craft them in this pack.
Scrap, UU Matter and Replication
The Recycler destroys useless items and blocks and turns them into scrap. By default it only accepts things like dirt and stone, so you can't accidentally feed it something important. Scrap is the basic ingredient for making UU Matter, and if you have JEI you can look up the related recipes there.[1]
UU Matter exists as an item. A chemical conversion recipe turns the item into its chemical form, so you can move it around like any other Mekanism chemical.[3]
Chemical Conversion (mekanism)
Recipe id: mekmm:chemical_conversion/uuitem_to_uuchemical
The Replicator uses UU Matter to copy things, but it has no recipes by default. There are separate item, fluid and chemical replicators. Each one reads its recipes from a list in the config file. Every entry is written as a registry name, followed by a # and the amount of UU Matter consumed.[1][4]
Unverified This mod's config files aren't available for this pack, so it's unconfirmed whether the pack adds any replicator recipes. Check JEI in-game to see what the replicators can actually make. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
For a fun extra, you can compress UU Matter into TedXenon.[3]
Planting Station
The Planting Station consumes nutrient solution to produce crops. It works with most things that can be grown in vanilla, and the mod author says it's fully compatible with Mystical Agriculture.[1]
You make the nutrient solution through dissolution. The pack has two versions of the recipe: one takes regular bio fuel and the other takes bio fuel blocks.[3]

Stamper, Lathe and Rolling Mill
The CNC Stamper, the CNC Lathe and the CNC Rolling Mill are general-purpose processing machines. At the time the project page was written, only the Stamper had recipes linking to Immersive Engineering, AE2 and their addons. The Lathe and Rolling Mill had no suitable recipes yet, and the page says you'd need to add your own.[1][4]

Large Generators and Machines
The Large Heat Generator produces a base amount of energy per tick. It gets a bonus for every side touching lava, plus an extra bonus in an ultrawarm dimension, which in vanilla means the Nether. The lava count can reach a maximum of 81 sides, and it includes the generator itself if it's lava-logged. The generator also has a fluid tank and burns lava from it to produce heat energy.[4]
There's also a Large Gas-Burning Generator with its own chemical tank. Alongside the generators you'll find larger versions of several Mekanism machines: the Large Chemical Infuser, the Large Electrolytic Separator and the Large Rotary Condensentrator.[4]
Unverified The sources don't explain whether these large machines are multiblocks, how they're built, or what the default generation values are in this pack.
Wireless Charging and Transmission
The Wireless Charging Station charges your items wirelessly. A config setting controls how much energy an item can receive from it each tick.[4]
Crafting Shaped

Unverified The sources don't describe what the Connector does or how to link wireless stations together.
Gas Collection and Chemical Storage
The Ambient Gas Collector gathers Unstable Dimensional Gas, using energy for each operation. A config setting controls how many mB it collects.[4]
For storage, the mod adds Mid and Max Chemical Tanks in Basic, Advanced, Elite and Ultimate tiers. Each tier has its own storage size and output rate.[4]
Unverified The actual capacities and output rates of the Mid and Max Chemical Tanks in this pack aren't shown in the sources.
How do you progress through Mekanism:More Machine?
4 parts
Mekanism: More Machine uses the familiar four-tier ladder: Basic, Advanced, Elite and Ultimate. Factories and chemical tanks climb through those tiers one step at a time, while the large machines and wireless stations sit at the far end of your Mekanism progression.[3]
Factory tiers
Every factory line starts with a Basic factory built around its matching single-block machine. You make each higher tier by upgrading the factory from the tier below, so you can't skip ahead. Go from Basic to Advanced, then to Elite, then to Ultimate.[3]

Large machines
The large machines are late-game builds. Each one uses a Robit plus ultimate-tier tanks, so plan them after your tank line is maxed out.[3]
Two of them also need an Advanced Electrolysis Core, a crafted intermediate that upgrades Mekanism's Electrolytic Core. You'll need it for both the Large Electrolytic Separator and the Large Gas-Burning Generator.[3]

Wireless stations
The Wireless Charging Station and Wireless Transmission Station sit at the top of the ladder. Both need high-end Mekanism parts, such as an Ultimate Energy Cube for the charging station and a Quantum Entangloporter for the transmission station. The Connector also needs a Teleportation Core, so build these once your Mekanism setup is well established.[3]

How does Mekanism:More Machine work with other mods?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
The big link between this mod and the rest of the pack is Mystical Agriculture. The Planting Station consumes nutrient solution to grow crops, and the mod's project page says it is fully compatible with Mystical Agriculture.[1]
Growing essences in the Planting Station
This pack has a planting recipe for each Mystical Agriculture seed type listed in its recipe data. You feed the Planting Station nutrient solution plus the seeds, and it gives you the matching essence. The pack's recipe dump marks these recipes as changed by the pack, so don't assume they match the mod's defaults. The dump doesn't show what was changed, so check the recipe viewer in game for the details.[1][5]
Take Inferium as an example: nutrient solution plus Inferium Seeds gives you Inferium Essence.[5]

The same pattern covers the rest of the Mystical Agriculture lineup, including resources like Iron Seeds and Diamond Seeds, mob types like Creeper Seeds, and modded metals like Osmium Seeds. Each one turns into its own essence, for example Osmium Essence.[5]
Machine recipes that use other mods' items
The CNC Stamper is a machine that mixes parts from several mods: Mekanism's Steel Casing and the vanilla Piston and Sticky Piston all go into it, and its circuit and alloy slots accept any item from their tag. The exact in-pack recipe is shown below.[5]
