What is Extended Industrialization?
2 parts
Extended Industrialization is an addon for Modern Industrialization. It doesn't replace anything. It adds more machines, power sources, tools and resources on top of what Modern Industrialization already gives you.[1]
The pack ships version 1.5.5+1.21 of the mod, and it has been in the pack since 0.32 or earlier. If you're building out a Modern Industrialization setup, this is the mod that gives you more things to build with.[2]
What it adds
- Machines: Alloy Smelter, Bending Machine, Brewery, Canning Machine, Composter, Farmer, Honey Extractor, Large Furnace, Large Macerator, Machine Chainer, Processing Array, Universal Transformer, Waste Collector and Wireless Charging Station.[1]
- Generators: the Solar Boiler and the Solar Panel.[1]
- Tools and equipment: Canned Food, Machine Config Card, Steam Chainsaw, Electric Drill and Chainsaw, Ultimate Laser Drill and the Nano Suit.[1]
- Resources: Mulch, Manure, Composted Manure, NPK Fertilizer, Honey (as a fluid) and Crystallized Honey.[1]
The mod's own feature list is where those names come from. Recipes, power tiers and any changes the pack makes to them are not covered in this overview.[1]
Where it fits in the pack
Unverified The sources I have don't show where this mod sits in the pack's progression. They also show no ATM Star path or quest involvement, and no in-jar guidebook was found. Treat any claim about when to unlock these machines as unconfirmed.
How do you get started with Extended Industrialization?
5 parts
Extended Industrialization is an addon for Modern Industrialization. It adds machines like the Alloy Smelter, Bending Machine, Brewery, Canning Machine, Composter, Farmer, Honey Extractor, Large Furnace, Large Macerator and Wireless Charging Station. In this pack its recipes are built from Modern Industrialization parts, so you work up through the same tiers: bronze, then steel, then electric.[1][3]
Your first steps, in order
- Start with the steam-tier large machines: Large Steam Furnace and Large Steam Macerator. Both are built around bronze-tier Modern Industrialization parts, so they fit right after you get bronze going.[3]
- Next, make the bronze-tier utility machines: Bronze Bending Machine and Bronze Composter.[3]
- When you reach steel, upgrade those machines instead of rebuilding them: the Steel Bending Machine and Steel Composter both have upgrade recipes, shown below. The Steel Alloy Smelter has its own crafting recipe.[3]
- Then move to the electric versions, such as the Electric Alloy Smelter and Electric Bending Machine.[3]

How does Extended Industrialization work?
3 parts
Extended Industrialization is an addon for Modern Industrialization, so its machines build on that mod's systems. Its machine list covers the Alloy Smelter, Bending Machine, Brewery, Canning Machine, Composter, Farmer, Honey Extractor, Large Furnace, Large Macerator, Machine Chainer, Processing Array, Universal Transformer, Waste Collector and Wireless Charging Station.[1]
The sources I have don't explain how these machines work in detail, so this section stays short and sticks to what they do confirm.[1]
Machine tiers
Several machines come in more than one tier, and the pack gives each tier its own recipe. The Bronze Bending Machine and the Bronze Composter are crafted directly. Their steel versions, the Steel Bending Machine and the Steel Composter, are made by upgrading the bronze machine in a shapeless recipe.[3]

Copying machine settings
The mod adds a Machine Config Card so you don't have to set up every machine by hand. Shift right-click a machine to save its settings in the card. Right-click another machine to apply those settings. To wipe the card, shift right-click on air.[1][4]
What isn't covered here
Unverified Multiblock layouts, power (EU) tiers and consumption, fluid and item input/output behavior, and automation tips for these machines are not confirmed by the available sources. There is no in-jar guidebook, reusable documentation or config file for this mod in the pack, so check these in game before relying on them.
How do you progress through Extended Industrialization?
4 parts
Extended Industrialization builds on Modern Industrialization, and its machines follow the same ladder: steam first, then electric machines, then the big multiblocks and wireless gear. This pack's recipes show where each machine sits on that ladder, so you can plan your build order from them.[3]
Steam tier: bronze and steel
Your first Extended Industrialization machines are steam machines. The Large Steam Furnace and Large Steam Macerator are both built around bronze parts, including a Bronze Plated Bricks block. Other bronze-tier machines are the Bronze Bending Machine, the Bronze Composter and the Bronze Solar Boiler.[3]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: extended_industrialization:machines/large_steam_macerator/craft
A good first multiblock: it uses a regular Bronze Macerator as its core.
Steel is the next step. You can upgrade the bronze bending machine, composter and solar boiler by combining them with a Steel Upgrade, which gives you the Steel Bending Machine, Steel Composter and Steel Solar Boiler. The steel solar boiler also has a direct crafting recipe built on a Steel Boiler.[3]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: extended_industrialization:machines/bending_machine/craft/upgrade_steel
The Steel Alloy Smelter, Steel Brewery, Steel Canning Machine and Steel Honey Extractor are crafted straight from a Steel Machine Casing. There is no bronze version to upgrade from for these. The Steel Brewery, Canning Machine and Honey Extractor also need a Steel Tank.[3]
The Steam Farmer needs a Steel Combine, which has its own recipe, so make that first.[3]

Early electric tier
The first electric machines are the Electric Alloy Smelter, Electric Bending Machine, Electric Brewery, Electric Canning Machine, Electric Composter and Electric Honey Extractor. Each is built on a Basic Machine Hull with an Analog Circuit and tin parts. The LV Solar Panel uses the same hull, so it belongs to this stage too.[3]
The Universal Transformer is also made from a basic machine hull plus a few different cables. You need it later for the Machine Chainer.[3]

Mid game: large electric machines and automation
At this stage the recipes move to the Advanced Machine Hull and Electronic Circuits. The Large Electric Furnace and Large Electric Macerator are the electric versions of the large steam multiblocks. Each also consumes the matching regular electric machine, an Electric Furnace or an Electric Macerator. The macerator additionally needs Steel Plated Bricks.[3]

The MV Solar Panel and extended_industrialization:local_wireless_charging_station also use the advanced machine hull. The Electric Farmer is an upgrade of the steam farmer, so you can't skip the steam farmer even if you start with electricity. It also needs a Large Motor, a Large Pump and a Robot Arm.[3]
For logistics, the Machine Chainer requires a universal transformer along with an advanced machine hull, a Large Motor and a Large Pump. The cheaper Machine Chainer Relay is built around a Cupronickel Coil, an iron plate and pipes.[3]
Late game: turbo hulls and beyond
The next stage uses the Turbo Machine Hull and Digital Circuits. The HV Solar Panel and the extended_industrialization:global_wireless_charging_station both use the turbo hull. The Processing Array also uses Digital Circuits. It additionally needs an Assembler, a Robot Arm and a Clean Stainless Steel Machine Casing.[3]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: extended_industrialization:machines/processing_array/craft
The top of the list is the extended_industrialization:interdimensional_wireless_charging_station. It needs a Highly Advanced Machine Hull, a Processing Unit and a Superconductor Coil, which makes it the most demanding machine among the recipes shown.[3]
Unverified The recipe dump shown here is partial, so a few Extended Industrialization recipes were not visible. This section also isn't based on a quest path for this mod. Check the in-game recipe viewer if a machine you want isn't covered here. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does Extended Industrialization work with other mods?
5 parts
Extended Industrialization is an addon for Modern Industrialization, and the pack's recipes show it. Almost everything the mod adds is built from Modern Industrialization parts, so the two share one progression line. The recipe data I have only shows Modern Industrialization and a vanilla item, so I can't confirm links to any other mod.[1][3]
Everything builds on Modern Industrialization
The mod's machines, components and casings use Modern Industrialization hulls, casings, rotors, cables, circuits, pumps and motors. Many recipes can be made either in a crafting table or in the Modern Industrialization assembler. So the machines slot into the steam, steel and electric stages you already know from that mod.[3]
Two small parts show the link clearly. Steel Plated Bricks is made from Modern Industrialization's Fire Clay Bricks and Steel Plate. Tin Can comes from a single Tin Curved Plate.[3]

Steel upgrades
The Steel Bending Machine and Steel Composter are not built from scratch. You take the bronze version and add Modern Industrialization's Steel Upgrade. You can do this in a crafting table or a packer. An unpacker reverses it and gives you back the bronze machine and the upgrade.[3]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: extended_industrialization:machines/bending_machine/craft/upgrade_steel
The composter has matching upgrade recipes.
Crossing over in the farmer chain
The farmer line weaves both mods together. The Steam Farmer needs this mod's Steel Combine along with Modern Industrialization parts. The Electric Farmer then consumes the Steam Farmer itself, so you upgrade rather than replace.[3]

High-tier machines
The late-game machines are tied to Modern Industrialization's higher tiers. The extended_industrialization:global_wireless_charging_station, extended_industrialization:interdimensional_wireless_charging_station and HV Solar Panel all need advanced machine hulls from that mod. The Large Electric Furnace uses the Modern Industrialization Electric Furnace as an ingredient.[3]

Vanilla and tags
The brewery machines (Electric Brewery and Steel Brewery) also use the vanilla Blaze Rod. Several recipes accept any item from a shared tag, such as any steel rod, any invar plate or any glass block, instead of one fixed item.[3]
Unverified No quests in this pack could be confirmed to involve this mod, so any quest-based links to other mods are unverified.
Which Extended Industrialization config options matter?
Extended Industrialization is an addon for Modern Industrialization that adds new machines, power sources, tools and resources, such as the Large Furnace, the Solar Panel and the Nano Suit. That is all the mod's project page tells us here, and it doesn't list any config options.[1]
Unverified I don't have this pack's config files for Extended Industrialization, so I can't say which options exist or which values the pack changed from the mod defaults. Until those files are available, treat any specific option name or value for this mod as unconfirmed.
What changed in Extended Industrialization between versions?
1 part
This pack ships Extended Industrialization 1.5.5+1.21. It was already in All the Mods 10 by 0.32 or earlier, so it has been part of the pack for a good while.[2]
1.5.5+1.21
The only change listed for this release is an update to MI 2.2.17-beta. Nothing else is noted in the changelog.[5]
Unverified No pack changelog entries for this mod were available, so changes made to it between individual pack releases are unverified.
