What is AEInfinityBooster?
2 parts
AEInfinityBooster is a small add-on for Applied Energistics 2 that adds two new cards: the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card. If you've ever walked too far from your wireless access point and lost your terminal connection, this is the mod that fixes that.[1][2]
The two cards work as bespoke wireless boosters. Together they give your AE2 network infinite connectivity range, plus optional cross-dimensional support. The Infinity Range Booster on its own doesn't work across dimensions, so keep that in mind before you head off to the Nether or the End expecting your terminal to reach home.[2][3]
Who it's for
This one is for you if you've already built an AE2 system and use wireless terminals. It isn't a standalone mod. It extends AE2's wireless range, so it only matters once you have a network worth reaching from far away.[1][2]
Where it fits in this pack
In the Applied Energistics 2 quest chapter, the "Infinity Booster" quest quest comes after the Wireless Terminals quest. It asks you to get both the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card. That makes it a natural upgrade once your wireless setup is running.[2]
The Infinity Range Booster also shows up in the Chapter 3: The ATM Star quest chapter, in quest a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star", which comes after the Applied Energistics quest. That quest notes that the trickiest part of making the booster is the gears. You also can't craft the ingots you need directly. Instead, you mix dusts together and smelt the result.[3]
Unverified Whether the Infinity Range Booster is actually required to craft the ATM Star couldn't be confirmed, so treat it as an AE2 quality-of-life upgrade rather than a required Star step.
How do you get started with AEInfinityBooster?
3 parts
This add-on gives you two wireless boosters for your AE2 network: the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card. Together they give your wireless terminals infinite connectivity range, with optional cross-dimensional support. Here is the order to make them in.[2]
Step 1: Get to the Infinity Booster quest
The quest "Infinity Booster" quest comes after the Wireless Terminals quest in the Applied Energistics 2 chapter. Set up your wireless terminals first, because the boosters are the follow-up that removes their range limit.[2]
Step 2: Craft the Infinity Range Booster
Make the Infinity Range Booster first. It is the base for everything else in this mod. In this pack the recipe is added by the pack, so it may differ from what you remember from other modpacks.[4]

The quest a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star" in The ATM Star chapter walks you through this craft. It calls the gears the most confusing part. Note that the Infinity Range Booster on its own does not work across dimensions.[3]
Step 3: Upgrade to the Dimension Card
If you want your wireless access to reach across dimensions, craft the Dimension Card. This recipe uses the Infinity Range Booster as one of its inputs, so you need to finish step 2 first.[3][4]

How does AEInfinityBooster work?
3 parts
AEInfinityBooster is a small add-on for Applied Energistics 2. It adds two items: the Infinity Range Booster (the project page calls it the Infinite Range Card) and the Dimension Card. It has no machines or multiblocks of its own, so there is no power, fluid or item handling to set up for it.[1][4]
Crafting the cards
In this pack, the Infinity Range Booster uses a recipe the pack added itself. It is a shaped crafting recipe, and the pack's recipe dump marks it as added by the pack.[4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: allthemods:aeinfinitybooster/infinity_card
The Dimension Card is a mod recipe, and the dump doesn't show the pack changing it. It is also shaped crafting, and it takes the Infinity Range Booster as one of its inputs. You have to make the Infinity Range Booster first.[4]

What isn't confirmed
Unverified The sources don't explain the exact range behavior of the Infinity Range Booster, how the Dimension Card handles cross-dimension connections, or which AE2 devices the cards work with. The pack also has no config files for this mod, so there are no options to tune.
How do you progress through AEInfinityBooster?
2 parts
The progression here is short and entirely crafted: you make the Infinity Range Booster first, then the Dimension Card. The pack's quest book describes them as bespoke wireless boosters for AE2 that give infinite connectivity range, with optional cross-dimensional support.[2]
Infinity Range Booster
This is your starting booster. The quest text in the ATM Star chapter warns that it doesn't work across dimensions, so plan around that if your base spans more than one.[3]
The pack adds its own recipe for this item, so don't assume the mod's default applies. The recipe block below shows the exact in-pack version.[4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: allthemods:aeinfinitybooster/infinity_card
This recipe is added by the pack, not taken from the mod.
The quest "Infinity Booster" quest in the Applied Energistics 2 chapter comes after Wireless Terminals, and its tasks are the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card.[2]
A second quest, a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star", also asks for the Infinity Range Booster. It sits in Chapter 3: The ATM Star, after the Applied Energistics quest. Its text says the gears are the most confusing part. The netherite ingots can't be made directly: you mix dusts together, then smelt the result.[3]
Dimension Card
The Dimension Card is the upgrade that covers cross-dimensional connectivity. Its recipe is the mod's own, and the sources show no pack change to it. It takes a finished Infinity Range Booster as an input, so you need that one first.[2][4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: aeinfinitybooster:dimension_card
This is the mod's own recipe, and the Infinity Range Booster is one of its inputs.
How does AEInfinityBooster work with other mods?
3 parts
AEInfinityBooster is an AE2 add-on, and in this pack it connects to other mods through its own recipes and quests. The pack adds a custom recipe for the Infinity Range Booster that pulls in items from other mods, and then uses that card as an ingredient in something bigger.[1][4]
Crafting the Infinity Range Booster
The pack adds its own recipe for the Infinity Range Booster, and it pulls in items from other mods. The exact in-pack recipe is shown below, and these are the ingredients that come from outside this add-on:[4]
- Wireless Booster is the AE2 part the recipe builds on.[4]
- Enderium Gear is one of the two gears from the ore mods.[4]
- Lumium Gear is the other gear from the ore mods.[4]
- Netherite Ingot is the vanilla Minecraft ingredient.[4]

This shaped recipe is added by the pack.
A quest in the ATM Star chapter walks you through this recipe. It points out that the gears are the confusing part, and that the ingots can't be made directly: you mix dusts together and smelt the result. The quest also ends with a note that this doesn't work across dimensions.[3]
Used in the Nexium Emitter
The card doesn't stop at AE2. The pack also uses the Infinity Range Booster as an ingredient in the recipe for the Nexium Emitter, alongside machine parts from many different mods. The exact recipe is shown below, and these are the other parts it asks for:[4]
- Quantum Computer Multi-Threader is one of the parts in the recipe.[4]
- Mechanical Arm is another part in the recipe.[4]
- Tesla Coil is also in the recipe.[4]
- Large Advanced Motor is also in the recipe.[4]
- Player Transmitter (Nitro) is also in the recipe.[4]

Quests
- "Infinity Booster" quest sits in the Applied Energistics 2 chapter, after the Wireless Terminals quest. Its tasks are to obtain the Infinity Range Booster and the Dimension Card.[2]
- a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star" sits in the ATM Star chapter, after the Applied Energistics quest. Its task is to obtain the Infinity Range Booster.[3]
Which All the Mods 10 quests use AEInfinityBooster?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
AEInfinityBooster shows up in two quest chapters in this pack: the Applied Energistics 2 chapter and Chapter 3: The ATM Star. Both chapters ask you for the Infinity Range Booster. The Applied Energistics 2 chapter also wants the Dimension Card.[6][7]
Applied Energistics 2 chapter
The "Infinity Booster" quest quest is the main quest for this add-on. It unlocks after the Wireless Terminals quest, so you'll reach it once your wireless setup is going. Its description explains that the add-on gives you two special wireless boosters: one for infinite connectivity range, and one that adds cross-dimensional support.[6]
- Task: obtain the Infinity Range Booster.[6]
- Task: obtain the Dimension Card.[6]
Chapter 3: The ATM Star
The ATM Star chapter has an untitled quest, a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star", that comes after a quest called Applied Energistics. It has a single task: get an Infinity Range Booster. The quest text says the Gears are the most confusing part of the craft. You can't make the needed Ingots directly: you mix Dusts together, then smelt the result to get them.[7]
Unverified The sources don't say which of these two quests you'll normally reach first. They also don't say whether handing in the Infinity Range Booster for one quest consumes it, which could mean you'd have to craft a second one.
Which AEInfinityBooster config options matter?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
This mod keeps things simple: it adds two cards to AE2, the Infinite Range Card and the Dimension Card.[1]
Unverified This guide can't confirm which config options this mod has or how All the Mods 10 8.1 sets them. The pack's config files for this mod weren't available, and the project page doesn't describe any settings. Check the mod's config file in your own instance before you plan a network around specific values.
What changed in AEInfinityBooster between versions?
1 part
In All the Mods 10 5.0 you get AEInfinityBooster version 1.21.1-1.0.0.52, shipped as the file aeinfinitybooster-neoforge-1.21.1-1.0.0.52.jar. The mod has been in the pack since version 2.3 or earlier.[8]
Updates across pack releases
- All the Mods 10 2.37 updated AEInfinityBooster from 1.21-1.0.1.38 to 1.21.1-1.0.0.49. The build number after the dash looks lower, but the new version string starts with 1.21.1 instead of 1.21, so it's a different release line and not a downgrade in the usual sense.[9]
- All the Mods 10 2.47 updated AEInfinityBooster from 1.21.1-1.0.0.49 to 1.21.1-1.0.0.52.[10]
The 1.21.1-1.0.0.52 build from the 2.47 update is the same version that ships in 5.0.[8][10]
Unverified The details of what changed in these updates aren't documented here, because the mod's own changelogs for these versions aren't available. The pack changelogs only record the version bumps.
