What is All The Arcanist Gear?

All The Arcanist Gear is included in this pack as version 1.21.1-21.0.3, shipped as the file allthearcanistgear-1.21.1-21.0.3.jar. It has been in the pack since version 0.43 or earlier, so it isn't a recent addition.[1]

Unverified The sources I have don't describe what the mod's items do, who it is aimed at, or where it fits in the pack's progression. There is no guidebook or platform description to confirm any of that, and no pack quests or ATM Star path entries that involve the mod. Check the mod in-game before relying on any details about its gear.

How do you get started with All The Arcanist Gear?

3 parts

Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.57 guide

All The Arcanist Gear is a short upgrade ladder. Every piece comes in three tiers: Allthemodium, Vibranium and Unobtainium. Each set has a hat, robes, leggings and boots, and every piece is made at a smithing table, not a crafting grid.[2]

You can't skip steps. Each tier upgrades the matching piece from the tier before it, so you build the Allthemodium set first, then Vibranium, then Unobtainium.[2]

Step 1: Allthemodium Arcanist gear

Your entry point is the Allthemodium tier. Here you upgrade a base elemental piece of the same slot, so the hat becomes Allthemodium Arcanist Hat, the chest piece becomes Allthemodium Arcanist Robes, the legs become Allthemodium Arcanist Leggings and the boots become Allthemodium Arcanist Boots. This is the only tier that starts from the elemental gear.[2]

The hat is shown as the example. The robes, leggings and boots have their own matching smithing recipes.

Step 2: Vibranium Arcanist gear

Next, take each finished Allthemodium piece and upgrade it into its Vibranium version. That gives you Vibranium Arcanist Hat, Vibranium Arcanist Robes, Vibranium Arcanist Leggings and Vibranium Arcanist Boots. The Allthemodium piece is consumed in the upgrade, so you only need to do this for the slots you want to carry forward.[2]

Same pattern for the other three slots.

Step 3: Unobtainium Arcanist gear

The last tier upgrades Vibranium pieces into Unobtainium Arcanist Hat, Unobtainium Arcanist Robes, Unobtainium Arcanist Leggings and Unobtainium Arcanist Boots.[2]

Same pattern for the other three slots.

Tip: Each tier needs its own smithing upgrade item and the matching metal ingot, so it's worth gathering the Allthemodium, Vibranium and Unobtainium ingots before you start. Open the recipe blocks above to see exactly what the pack asks for at each step.[2]

Unverified The recipe data refers to the base elemental pieces only by item tag, so this guide can't say which exact items count as elemental hats, chests, legs or boots. The armor stats and any special effects of each tier are also not covered by the available sources, and no quests in this pack involve the mod.

How does All The Arcanist Gear work?

2 parts

This mod has no machines, multiblocks, power, fluids or item automation to learn. Going by the recipes in the pack, All The Arcanist Gear is purely an armor upgrade chain, and the only mechanic you need to know is smithing.[3]

How the upgrade chain works

Every piece in this mod is made with a smithing transform recipe, so you do all of it at a smithing table. There is no standalone crafting-grid recipe for these items in the pack's recipe dump.[3]

The armor comes in four slots per tier: hat, robes, leggings and boots. There are three tiers: Allthemodium, Vibranium and Unobtainium.[3]

  1. Allthemodium tier: you start from an elemental armor piece, and each slot is matched to its own elemental piece (hat, chest, legs or boots). Upgrading it gives you Allthemodium Arcanist Hat, Allthemodium Arcanist Robes, Allthemodium Arcanist Leggings or Allthemodium Arcanist Boots.[3]
  2. Vibranium tier: you upgrade the finished Allthemodium piece of the same slot into Vibranium Arcanist Hat, Vibranium Arcanist Robes, Vibranium Arcanist Leggings or Vibranium Arcanist Boots.[3]
  3. Unobtainium tier: you upgrade the finished Vibranium piece of the same slot into Unobtainium Arcanist Hat, Unobtainium Arcanist Robes, Unobtainium Arcanist Leggings or Unobtainium Arcanist Boots.[3]
Tip: You can't skip tiers. Each Vibranium piece is upgraded from the matching Allthemodium piece, and each Unobtainium piece from the matching Vibranium piece. Upgrade the same slot step by step.[3]

The recipes

Here is one slot, the hat, at each tier. The other three slots follow the same pattern, and the site renders the exact in-pack recipe for each.[3]

Each tier's recipe uses its own template tag, and the Allthemodium recipes accept any item in the matching elemental armor tag for the slot. Because these are tags, other mods in the pack may add items that count. The recipe viewer shows what is accepted in your instance.[3]

Unverified The sources don't say what the armor does: its stats, set bonuses, durability or any mana or spell-related effects. They also don't say whether the pack has config options for it. Check the items in game before relying on any of that.

How do you progress through All The Arcanist Gear?

3 parts

Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.57 guide

Arcanist gear in this pack comes in three tiers, and each tier is a smithing table upgrade of the one before. The order is Allthemodium, then Vibranium, then Unobtainium. Each tier has four pieces: hat, robes, leggings and boots.[2]

Tier 1: Allthemodium

The Allthemodium set is the entry point. You don't upgrade from an earlier Arcanist tier here. Each piece is a smithing upgrade of an elemental piece for the same slot (hat, chest, legs or boots). These are the pieces you get: Allthemodium Arcanist Hat, Allthemodium Arcanist Robes, Allthemodium Arcanist Leggings and Allthemodium Arcanist Boots.[2]

Tier 2: Vibranium

Next up is Vibranium. You take the finished Allthemodium piece to the smithing table and upgrade it into the Vibranium version of the same slot. That gives you Vibranium Arcanist Hat, Vibranium Arcanist Robes, Vibranium Arcanist Leggings and Vibranium Arcanist Boots.[2]

Tier 3: Unobtainium

The top tier is Unobtainium, and it upgrades from the Vibranium piece of the same slot. You end up with Unobtainium Arcanist Hat, Unobtainium Arcanist Robes, Unobtainium Arcanist Leggings and Unobtainium Arcanist Boots.[2]

Tip: Every upgrade keeps the slot the same, so plan one piece at a time. A piece can't skip a tier: Unobtainium needs a Vibranium piece, and Vibranium needs an Allthemodium piece.[2]

Unverified The sources I have don't cover per-tier armor values, set bonuses, or any quests tied to this gear, so none are listed here. Check the items in game for their stats.
