What is Create: Hypertubes?
3 parts
Create: Hypertubes is an addon for Create, inspired by the Hypertubes in Satisfactory. It lets you build tube networks that move players and entities across your world. You can make curvy, fun routes or long straight runs to power your logistics network.[1]
This pack ships version 0.6.0 of the mod.[2]
Who it is for
If you already use Create and want fast, seamless travel around your base or between builds, this is for you. The components are designed to fit into your existing Create progression.[1]
How it works
To get a network running, power a Hypertube Entrance Block with a cogwheel, then jump in and you get thrown along the tubes. The tube sections themselves are Hypertube Block blocks.[1][3]
Use a wrench on the entrance to pick its mode. In Automatic Lock Mode you can sneak to avoid being pulled into the tube. Fish and villagers can also ride the tubes with Automatic Lock Mode on. A first-person view while travelling can be enabled in the config files.[1]
You can also change how tubes connect visually with a wrench. For automation, attachments can change tube behavior or detect travellers.[1]
Where it fits in the pack
The mod has a quest in the exploration and combat chapter: "Create: Hypertubes" quest. It asks you to obtain both the Hypertube Entrance Block and the Hypertube Block.[3]
How do you get started with Create: Hypertubes?
5 parts
Welcome to Hypertubes! This addon adds Satisfactory-style tube travel to Create. Getting started is simple: make a few tube pieces, power an entrance with a cogwheel, and you're ready to launch yourself across the world.[1]
Step 1: The Hypertube Block
Everything starts with the Hypertube Block. This is the basic tube segment, and the pack changed its recipe from the mod's default, so use the one below rather than any recipe you remember from elsewhere.[4]

Step 2: The Hypertube Funnel
Next, make the Hypertube Funnel. The pack changed this recipe too. The recipes here build on each other, so craft in order: tube, funnel, then entrance.[4]

Step 3: The Hypertube Entrance
The Hypertube Entrance Block is how you get into the network. This one uses the mod's own recipe, unchanged by the pack.[4]

Recipe id: create_hypertube:hypertube_entrance
If you follow the quest book, quest "Create: Hypertubes" quest asks you to obtain both the entrance and the tube, so you'll tick it off as you go.[3]
Step 4: Build and power it
- To link two tubes, right click a placed tube while holding another tube, then place the second one. You can also connect tubes that are already placed.[5]
- You can change the tube segment count with a wrench.[5]
- Power the entrance with a cogwheel. It needs at least 16 RPM before you can enter the tube, and the faster it spins, the faster you travel.[1][5]
- Jump into the entrance and enjoy the ride. You can right click the entrance with a wrench to change its mode.[1][5]
What to add next
Once your first line works, there are a few upgrades. The Hypertube Accelerator Block increases the speed of entities travelling the tube, and you can right click it to switch it to BRAKE mode.[4][5]

Recipe id: create_hypertube:hyper_accelerator_small_cogwheel
The Hypertube Splitter can link up to three tubes, so one line can branch into several paths. While travelling, you pick your route with the movement keys. The pack changed this recipe as well.[4][5]

To detect travellers, the Tube Scanner Attachment picks up entities moving through the tube, giving 8 power for babies and 15 for adults. The pack changed its recipe, which is a sequenced assembly, so follow the one below.[4][5]

How does Create: Hypertubes work?
5 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Create: Hypertubes is a Create addon inspired by Satisfactory's hypertubes. You build tube networks that move players and other entities around quickly. The mod is still in active development, so features can change and bugs are expected.[1]
Building a tube line
Connecting tubes is simple. Right click a placed Hypertube Block while holding another tube, then place the second one and the connection exists. You can also connect tubes that are already placed. A wrench changes the tube's segment count, and the mod's project page says you can also use it to customize how tubes connect.[1][6][7]
The pack changes the recipe for the Hypertube Block, so don't rely on the mod's default. This is the in-pack version:[7]
Crafting Shaped
| any brass plates | any glass panes | any brass plates |
| any glass panes | Empty slot | any glass panes |
| any brass plates | any glass panes | any brass plates |
Recipe id: create_hypertube:hypertube
Entrances
An Hypertube Entrance Block connects you to the network. To get in, it has to be powered with at least 16 RPM, and the faster it spins, the faster you travel. A cogwheel driving the entrance is all it takes to get a network running.[1][6][7]
Right click the entrance with a wrench to change its mode. In Automatic Lock Mode you get pulled into the tube automatically, and you can sneak to avoid that. The project page also says that mode is what lets fish and villagers travel the tubes.[1][6]

Both the entrance and the accelerator use the Hypertube Funnel as an ingredient. The pack changes the funnel recipe too.[7]

Crafting Shaped
| Empty slot | Empty slot | |

Recipe id: create_hypertube:hyper_accelerator_small_cogwheel
Splitters
The Hypertube Splitter links up to three tubes and branches a line into multiple paths. While traveling, you pick which way to go with your movement keys. Right click the splitter with a wrench to cycle its modes.[6]
- Continue mode: travelers always keep going through the side tubes.[6]
- Center mode: travelers are always routed through the front tube.[6]
- A Redstone Detector Attachment can toggle between these two forced modes.[6]
The pack changes the Splitter recipe, and it is a mechanical crafting recipe:[7]
Mechanical Crafting (create)
| any brass plates | any brass plates | |
| Empty slot | Empty slot |
Recipe id: create_hypertube:hypertube_junction
Attachments and automation
Attachments are how you automate a network. You can place them in accelerators, on any side and several at once.[1][6]
- Tube Scanner Attachment: detects entities traveling the tube. The mod's description gives 8 power for babies and 15 for adults.[6][7]
- Redstone Detector Tube Attachment: lets a redstone signal change the mode of an accelerator or entrance. On a splitter it toggles between the two forced modes.[6][7]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: create_hypertube:redstone_detector_tube_attachment
The Tube Scanner is made by sequenced assembly, and the pack changes that recipe. Its process uses the Unfinished Tube Scanner item.[7]
Sequenced Assembly (create)

4× Unfinished Tube Scanner
- 2× any brass plates
Recipe id: create_hypertube:sequenced_assembly/tube_scanner
Unverified The sources don't say how much stress the entrance or accelerators use, what the exact travel speeds are, or whether tubes can carry items or fluids. The pack also has no config files for this mod, so none of that is confirmed here.
How do you progress through Create: Hypertubes?
5 parts
In this pack, Create: Hypertubes is a chain of parts rather than a set of named tiers. The early pieces feed into the later ones, so this page follows the in-pack recipes in that order.[4]
The quest
The quest book places this mod in the exploration and combat chapter, with "Create: Hypertubes" quest, which has no title in the quest file. Its tasks are to obtain a Hypertube Entrance Block and a Hypertube Block. The quest only asks for the tube and the entrance, nothing further up the chain.[3]
Start with the tube
Everything starts with the Hypertube Block. The pack changed this recipe from the mod's default, so don't rely on a recipe you remember from another pack.[4]

Then the funnel
The Hypertube Funnel is made from the tube block, and it is a component in several later recipes. The pack changed this recipe too.[4]

Entrance, accelerator and splitter
Once you have funnels, you can make the main network parts. The Hypertube Entrance Block is the first task of the quest, and it uses the mod's own recipe.[3][4]

Attachments
The last stage is the attachments. The Redstone Detector Tube Attachment uses the mod's own recipe.[4]

Recipe id: create_hypertube:redstone_detector_tube_attachment
The Tube Scanner Attachment is a Create sequenced assembly that the pack changed, and it needs the redstone detector attachment as a component. The process works on an Unfinished Tube Scanner, and the recipe gives that item back alongside the finished attachment.[4]

How does Create: Hypertubes work with other mods?
3 parts
Create: Hypertubes is an addon for Create, so almost everything it connects to is Create. In this pack, every recipe that mixes Hypertubes items with another mod's items uses Create parts, apart from one vanilla item. Even the basic setup is Create-flavored: you power a Hypertube Entrance Block with a Cogwheel and you're ready to travel.[1][4]
Recipes that use Create items
The Hypertube Entrance Block is a normal shaped crafting recipe that uses Create parts. Here is the exact in-pack recipe:[4]

Recipe id: create_hypertube:hyper_accelerator_small_cogwheel
The Hypertube Splitter (the Hypertube Splitter) is made with Create's mechanical crafting, not a normal crafting table. The pack changed this recipe, so don't rely on the mod's default.[4]

Attachments
The Redstone Detector Tube Attachment is shaped crafting that combines Create items with a vanilla Comparator.[4]

Quests
The only quest in the provided files that touches this mod is "Create: Hypertubes" quest, in the exploration and combat chapter. It asks you to bring a Hypertube Entrance Block and a Hypertube Block. Its task list doesn't include items from any other mod.[3]
Which FTB StoneBlock 4 quests use Create: Hypertubes?
This mod has a single quest in the pack, so there is no long questline to follow. It sits in the exploration and combat chapter.[3]
The quest "Create: Hypertubes" quest has no title in the quest book. It has two item tasks: a Hypertube Entrance Block and a Hypertube Block.[3]
Because it is the only quest for this mod, there is no order to follow between Create: Hypertubes quests. Get both blocks and you have covered everything the quest asks for.[3]
Which Create: Hypertubes config options matter?
4 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide
Hypertubes has a server config and a client config. The speed multiplier and both stress impacts are left at the mod default in this pack. Here are the options you're most likely to touch and the values the pack uses.[8][9]
Who and what can travel
- [[config:config/create_hypertube-server.toml#Travel Settings.entityListMode]] is set to BLACKLIST in this pack. That means every entity can travel except the ones on the blacklist. The other modes are TAG_ONLY, WHITELIST and TAG_WITH_BLACKLIST. TAG_ONLY uses only the 'create_hypertube:traveller_entities' tag from datapacks, and TAG_WITH_BLACKLIST uses that tag but excludes the blacklisted entities.[9]
- [[config:config/create_hypertube-server.toml#Travel Settings.entityBlacklist]] holds minecraft:wither and minecraft:ender_dragon in this pack, so those two can't ride the tubes.[9]
- [[config:config/create_hypertube-server.toml#Travel Settings.entityWhitelist]] lists minecraft:player, minecraft:villager, minecraft:wandering_trader and create:package. It is only used when the mode is WHITELIST, so while the pack runs BLACKLIST this list does nothing.[9]
Speed
[[config:config/create_hypertube-server.toml#Travel Settings.speedMultiplier]] is 1, which is normal tube speed and the same as the mod default. It accepts values from 0.5 to 99.0, but the config itself labels it highly experimental, so raise it with care.[9]
Stress
[[config:config/create_hypertube-server.toml#Stress Settings.entranceStressImpact]] for the Hyper Entrance and [[config:config/create_hypertube-server.toml#Stress Settings.acceleratorStressImpact]] for the Hyper Accelerator are both 4 in this pack. That matches the mod default, and each can be set anywhere from 0.0 to 100.0.[9]
Collision and camera
[[config:config/create_hypertube-server.toml#Collision Settings.tubeCollision]] is true. Tubes have solid collision along their curved path, so you can stand on them and mobs can't walk through, while travelers still pass through freely.[9]
Gameplay.allowFPVInsideTheTube is false, which is also the mod's default and is described as the better experience. If you want to ride in first person, the mod page says you can enable FPV in the config files.[1][8]
What changed in Create: Hypertubes between versions?
5 parts
FTB StoneBlock 4 1.21.0 ships Create: Hypertubes 0.6.0, the NeoForge build. The mod has been in the pack since 1.0.0 or earlier. Here are the notable changes across its releases, newest first, so you know what you're getting and what changed along the way.[2]
0.6.0 (the version in this pack)
- Tube segments now have collisions. It's backward-compatible, but tubes you placed before this version won't get collision.[10]
- New Tube Escape mechanic: hold the Sneak key while travelling through a tube to get out of a soft lock.[10]
- A new camera transition when entering and exiting tubes, plus much smoother camera movement.[10]
- A Ponder scene for the Hypertube Splitter, and you can view the splitter's path while wearing Goggles.[10]
- You can place tubes continuously, and angle detection when placing is improved.[10]
- Lights now illuminate only the adjacent tube segment instead of the whole connected tube.[10]
0.5.0-ALPHA
This was an alpha test release that introduced the Junction System using the Hypertube Splitter. You can build branching tube networks, and junctions can redirect travelers with redstone or manually with WASD. With Goggles you can see the selected path, and a Wrench changes the junction mode.[11]
It also reworked some crafting recipes, fixed client and server desync during tube travel, reduced visual jitter, and made Hypertube Accelerators play a higher-pitched sound when you pass through. Because the pack uses 0.6.0, these changes are already included in what you play.[2][11]
0.4.0 and 0.4.0-SABLE-COMPAT
- Ponder now works on all Hypertube items and blocks.[12]
- Travel and placement became block-relative so WorldEdit works properly, though rotation with WorldEdit is still a bit messy.[12]
- This update may break tube connections made with versions older than 0.3.0. Visual glitches with long-distance tube connections were fixed.[12]
- The SABLE-COMPAT release fixed compatibility with Sable.[13]
0.3.0
- You can fully customize which entities are allowed to travel through the tube, via config or datapack.[14]
- New Tube Attachments: the Tube Scanner Attachment emits a redstone signal when any entity passes through, and the Redstone Detector Attachment changes the tube state when powered.[14]
- The player now always exits from the front of the tube. Fixes covered a camera crash with Immersive Portals, a Steam 'n Rails dismount issue, and tube desync when changing the segment amount.[14]
0.2.6 hotfix
A small hotfix that fixed a server crash when breaking the Accelerator block.[15]

Gameplay.allowFPVInsideTheTube Allow first-person view inside the tube. Default is false for better experience. config/create_hypertube-client.toml | false | not documented |
Collision Settings.tubeCollision Whether hypertubes have solid collision along their curved path. When true, entities collide with it (you can stand on it, mobs can't pass through); travelers still pass through freely. When false, tubes are visual-only with no collision along the curve. Travel Settings.entityBlacklist Entities that CANNOT travel (used in BLACKLIST and TAG_WITH_BLACKLIST modes). Use entity registry names like 'minecraft:creeper' or 'minecraft:wither' config/create_hypertube-server.toml | ["minecraft:wither","minecraft:ender_dragon"] | not documented |
Travel Settings.entityListMode How to handle entity travel permissions: TAG_ONLY - Use only the 'create_hypertube:traveller_entities' tag from datapacks WHITELIST - Only entities in the whitelist can travel (ignores tag) BLACKLIST - All entities can travel except those in the blacklist TAG_WITH_BLACKLIST - Use tag but exclude entities in the blacklist config/create_hypertube-server.toml | BLACKLIST | not documented |
Travel Settings.entityWhitelist Entities that CAN travel (only used when mode is WHITELIST). Use entity registry names like 'minecraft:villager' or 'create:package' config/create_hypertube-server.toml | ["minecraft:player","minecraft:villager","minecraft:wandering_trader","create:package"] | not documented |
