What is More Industrial Foregoing Addons (MIFA)?

More Industrial Foregoing Addons (MIFA) is a small add-on for Industrial Foregoing. It adds higher tiers of the efficiency, processing and speed addons you slot into your Industrial Foregoing machines, so you can push those machines further than the standard addons allow.[1]

It also adds detailed tooltips, so you can check what an addon does before you commit it to a machine.[1]

This mod is for you if you already run Industrial Foregoing machines and want more out of them. This pack includes version 2.0.0.[1][2]

Unverified The sources don't confirm the exact stats of each new addon tier, what they cost to craft, or when in the pack's progression you can unlock them. Check the in-game tooltips and recipe viewer for those details. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

How do you get started with More Industrial Foregoing Addons (MIFA)?

3 parts

Efficiency Addon 3 and the other items in this mod are higher tiers of the efficiency, processing and speed addons from Industrial Foregoing. The mod's page also says it adds detailed tooltips, so hover over the addons in game to see what each one does.[1]

In this pack, every addon from this mod is made in Industrial Foregoing's Dissolution Chamber. None of them has a regular crafting table recipe, so build a Dissolution Chamber first. These are the mod's own recipes, and nothing in the recipe dump shows the pack changing them.[3]

How the tiers connect

There are three lines of addons, and each runs from tier 3 to tier 8. Every tier is an upgrade of the tier below it. Tier 3 starts from Industrial Foregoing's own tier 2 addon, like Efficiency Addon Tier 2. Tier 4 then takes tier 3, and so on up to tier 8. You can't skip ahead, so plan to work through each line in order.[3]

Your first addons: tier 3

Tier 3 is where every line begins. Pick the line you need first and make its tier 3 addon from the matching Industrial Foregoing tier 2 addon. Here are the three starting recipes as they are in this pack.[3]

Moving up the tiers

Once you have a tier 3 addon, feed it back into the Dissolution Chamber to get tier 4, such as Speed Addon 4 or Processing Addon 4. The tier 4 recipes are the next step for each line:[3]

The same pattern continues all the way up to Efficiency Addon 8, Processing Addon 8 and Speed Addon 8. The later tiers ask for tougher materials, so check each tier's recipe before you commit to a line. That way you can start gathering early.[3]

Tip: Every tier eats the addon from the tier below it. Keep a spare lower-tier addon if you still want one in a machine while you work on the next upgrade.[3]

Unverified The exact effect of each addon tier on Industrial Foregoing machines (how much faster, cheaper or more parallel they run) isn't confirmed here. Check the in-game tooltips before deciding which line to upgrade first.

How does More Industrial Foregoing Addons (MIFA) work?

4 parts

This mod adds no new machines, multiblocks or power systems. It adds higher tiers of the efficiency, processing and speed addons that you slot into Industrial Foregoing machines, and it gives those addons detailed tooltips. Everything below is about how you get these addons in this pack.[1]

Everything comes out of the Dissolution Chamber

In this pack, every addon from this mod is made in Industrial Foregoing's Dissolution Chamber, not a crafting table. Each recipe uses a fluid plus solid items, so you need a working Dissolution Chamber and a steady supply of Industrial Foregoing fluids before you can start climbing the tiers.[3]

Each tier is an upgrade of the one before it

The tiers form a chain. The first tier from this mod is tier 3, and you make it by upgrading Industrial Foregoing's own tier 2 addon. For efficiency that means turning Efficiency Addon Tier 2 into Efficiency Addon 3. For processing, Processing Addon Tier 2 becomes Processing Addon 3. For speed, Speed Addon Tier 2 becomes Speed Addon 3. Every tier after that needs the previous tier as an input, so you can't skip ahead.[3]

Tip: Each step consumes the addon you're upgrading. If a machine is already using that addon, take it out, run the upgrade, then put the higher tier back in.[3]

The three addon lines

All three lines move through the same progression. The later tiers ask for increasingly late-game materials, so expect the top tiers to be long-term goals.[3]

Here is the first step of each line, which is where you move from Industrial Foregoing's addons to this mod's addons. The higher tiers follow the same pattern.[3]

Unverified The available information doesn't say how much each tier improves a machine, whether addons stack, or which machines accept which tiers. Check the in-game tooltips, which the mod adds for this purpose. It's also unconfirmed whether speed addons go beyond tier 6 in this pack.

How do you progress through More Industrial Foregoing Addons (MIFA)?

6 parts

This addon mod extends the upgrade addons you already know from Industrial Foregoing. In this pack it adds three addon lines (efficiency, processing and speed), each running from tier 3 up to tier 8. Every one of them is crafted in the Industrial Foregoing Dissolution Chamber, so get that machine running before you plan anything here.[3]

The progression is a straight ladder. Each tier is made by upgrading the tier directly below it, so you can't skip ahead. To reach tier 8 in a line, you have to craft every tier from 3 to 7 of that same line first.[3]

The three addon lines

Getting into tier 3

The entry point for each line is Industrial Foregoing's own tier 2 addon of the matching type. The tier 3 efficiency addon upgrades the tier 2 efficiency addon, the tier 3 processing addon upgrades the tier 2 processing addon, and the tier 3 speed addon upgrades the tier 2 speed addon. So before you start, make sure you can craft tier 2 addons in base Industrial Foregoing.[3]

Climbing from tier 3 to tier 8

  1. Craft the tier 3 addon from the matching tier 2 addon in the Dissolution Chamber.[3]
  2. Put that tier 3 addon back into the Dissolution Chamber to make tier 4.[3]
  3. Repeat the same step for each tier: tier 4 becomes tier 5, tier 5 becomes tier 6, and tier 6 becomes tier 7.[3]
  4. Finish by upgrading tier 7 into tier 8, the highest tier in this pack.[3]

All three lines follow the same tier structure, and each step uses a different Dissolution Chamber fluid. If you're pushing more than one line, it helps to set up the fluid supply for a tier once and then craft that tier for every line you need. The recipe cards below show exactly what each step takes in this pack.[3]

Tip: Each upgrade uses up the previous tier as an input, so you won't keep a lower-tier copy. If you want addons of different tiers for different machines, craft extra copies of the lower tier first.[3]

How does More Industrial Foregoing Addons (MIFA) work with other mods?

4 parts

This mod is an add-on for Industrial Foregoing. It adds higher tiers of the efficiency, processing and speed addons you already know from Industrial Foregoing, and it also adds detailed tooltips.[1]

In this pack, every one of these new addons, from tier 3 up to tier 8, is made in Industrial Foregoing's Dissolution Chamber. You can't skip the base mod: MIFA's upgrade path runs entirely through Industrial Foregoing's machines and fluids.[3]

How the upgrade chain works

  1. Start with Industrial Foregoing's own tier 2 addons: Efficiency Addon Tier 2, Processing Addon Tier 2 and Speed Addon Tier 2. Each one goes into the Dissolution Chamber recipe for the matching MIFA tier 3 addon.[3]
  2. From there, each new tier is made from the tier just below it. For example, Speed Addon 3 goes into the recipe for Speed Addon 4, and so on up to Speed Addon 8.[3]
  3. Every step also uses one of Industrial Foregoing's fluids plus some vanilla materials. As you climb the tiers, those materials move further into late-game content.[3]
Tip: All three lines use the same fluid at each tier. If you're building efficiency, processing and speed addons together, set up one fluid supply per tier and feed all three recipes from it.[3]

What changed in More Industrial Foregoing Addons (MIFA) between versions?

More Industrial Foregoing Addons (MIFA) has been part of All the Mods 10 for a good while now. It was first included in version 1.9 of the pack or earlier, so if you've been playing ATM10 since its early days, you've probably had it available the whole time.[2]

The big recent change came with All the Mods 10 2.36, where the pack updated the mod from version 1.1.1 to 2.0.0. That's a major version jump, so if you're updating an existing world, it's worth keeping an eye on your MIFA machines after the update.[4]

In All the Mods 10 2.36, the pack ships MIFA version 2.0.0, using the NeoForge 1.21.x build of the mod.[2]

Unverified No changelog for the mod itself was available for these versions, so what actually changed between 1.1.1 and 2.0.0 (new machines, recipe changes, removed features, or world-compatibility notes) is unverified. Check the mod's own release notes before relying on anything specific.
