What is Mama's Herbs and Harvest?
Mama's Herbs and Harvest is part of this pack's mod list, so you can find it in your game right away. The pack ships version 1.0.0 of the mod.[1]
Unverified No available source describes what Mama's Herbs and Harvest adds, which players it suits best, or where it fits in the pack's progression. Its name suggests herbs and crops, but that is unconfirmed. Check JEI/EMI in-game to see the mod's items and recipes for yourself. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with Mama's Herbs and Harvest?
3 parts
Mama's Herbs and Harvest is all about growing food: vegetables, berries, grains, herbs and fruit trees. In this pack, getting it started is mostly about knowing where things come from. Almost everything is grown rather than crafted, and the pack adds its own ways to get saplings and automate crops.[2]
Step 1: Craft a Produce Basket
The herbsandharvest:empty_basket is the only item from this mod made on a normal crafting table in this pack, and it uses the mod's own recipe. It's cheap to make, so craft one early.[2]
Unverified What the Produce Basket does (for example, whether it stores or carries crops) isn't confirmed here, so test it in-game.
Step 2: Pick up fruit saplings from the Market
The fruit trees aren't crafted. This pack adds them to the Farming for Blockheads Market instead. If you want fruit, that's where you shop for saplings.[2]
- Citrus: Lemon Fruit Sapling, Lime Sapling and Orange Fruit Sapling.[2]
- Orchard fruit: Peach Fruit Sapling, Pear Fruit Sapling, Plum Fruit Sapling and Cherry Fruit Sapling.[2]
- Plus the Avocado Fruit Sapling.[2]

Unverified The Market entries list no item inputs, so their price isn't shown here. Check the Market in-game to see what each sapling costs.
Step 3: Get seeds and automate them in a cloche
Once you have some seeds, this pack lets you grow every seed crop from this mod in an Immersive Engineering cloche with plain dirt as the soil. Each harvest gives you the crop and the seeds back, so one seed keeps producing without replanting.[2]
- Vegetables such as Tomato, Lettuce, Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cucumber, Zucchini, Squash, Eggplant, Green Pepper, Green Beans, Celery, Asparagus, Radish and Turnip.[2]
- Fruit and berries: Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Blackberry and Pineapple.[2]
- Grains: Barley and Rye.[2]
- Herbs, which come out as fresh herbs like Fresh Basil, Fresh Thyme, Fresh Rosemary, Fresh Mint, Fresh Parsley, Fresh Oregano, Fresh Sage, Fresh Dill, Fresh Chive, Fresh Cilantro, Fresh Bay Leaf, Fresh Lemongrass, Fresh Mustard and Fresh Peppercorn.[2]

Unverified Where to find the seeds in the world (grass, wild plants, loot or a Market) isn't confirmed here. Look them up in your recipe viewer. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does Mama's Herbs and Harvest work?
3 parts
Mama's Herbs and Harvest is a farming mod, not a tech mod. The pack's recipe data shows no machines, multiblocks, power or fluid systems of its own. What it does show is that the pack connects the mod's crops and saplings to other mods' systems, and that's where your automation comes from.[2]
Automated growing in the cloche
The pack adds Immersive Engineering cloche recipes for this mod's seeds. You put a seed in, and each harvest gives you the crop plus the seeds back, so one seed keeps producing for as long as the cloche runs.[2]

The vegetables, berries and grains that have cloche recipes in the pack are listed below. Each one yields its crop and returns its seeds.[2]
- Tomato Seeds grows Tomato.[2]
- Lettuce Seeds grows Lettuce.[2]
- Cucumber Seeds grows Cucumber.[2]
- Zucchini Seeds grows Zucchini.[2]
- Eggplant Seeds grows Eggplant.[2]
- Green Bean Seeds grows Green Beans.[2]
- Radish Seeds grows Radish.[2]
- Turnip Seeds grows Turnip.[2]
- Asparagus Seeds grows Asparagus.[2]
- Rye Seeds grows Rye.[2]
- Strawberry Seeds grows Strawberry.[2]
- Raspberry Seeds grows Raspberry.[2]
- Blackberry Seeds grows Blackberry.[2]
The herbs work in the cloche too, which is handy if you're cooking with them in bulk.[2]
- Thyme Seeds grows Fresh Thyme.[2]
- Sage Seeds grows Fresh Sage.[2]
- Mint Seeds grows Fresh Mint.[2]
- Oregano Seeds grows Fresh Oregano.[2]
- Cilantro Seeds grows Fresh Cilantro.[2]
- Peppercorn Seeds grows Fresh Peppercorn.[2]
Unverified Growth speed, yield per harvest and power use in the cloche aren't in the provided sources, and neither is whether the fruit saplings can grow in a cloche.
Fruit saplings from the market
The fruit trees come through a different route. The pack adds Farming for Blockheads market entries for the mod's fruit saplings, so you can pick them up at a market instead of hunting for them.[2]
- Avocado Fruit Sapling[2]
- Cherry Fruit Sapling[2]
- Lemon Fruit Sapling[2]
- Lime Sapling[2]
- Orange Fruit Sapling[2]
- Peach Fruit Sapling[2]
- Pear Fruit Sapling[2]
- Plum Fruit Sapling[2]

Unverified The recipe data lists no item inputs for these market entries, so the actual price at the market can't be confirmed from the sources.
Produce Basket
The mod's own crafting recipe in the pack is the herbsandharvest:empty_basket, a standard shaped crafting-table recipe.[2]
Unverified The sources don't explain what the Produce Basket does or how it's used.
How do you progress through Mama's Herbs and Harvest?
3 parts
Mama's Herbs and Harvest doesn't have a tier ladder of machines or gear in this pack. Your progress comes from how you get your crops, and this pack's recipes give you three routes: a simple crafted basket, fruit tree saplings from the Market, and automated growing in an Immersive Engineering cloche.[2]
Getting started: the Produce Basket
The mod's only regular crafting recipe in this pack is the herbsandharvest:empty_basket. It's an ordinary shaped crafting table recipe from the mod itself, and the pack hasn't changed it, so you can make one as soon as you have the materials.[2]
Fruit trees from the Farming for Blockheads Market
This pack adds the mod's fruit saplings to the Farming for Blockheads Market, so you can pick up fruit trees there instead of hunting for them. These Market entries were added by the pack itself, not by either mod. These saplings are available:[2]
- Avocado Fruit Sapling[2]
- Cherry Fruit Sapling[2]
- Lemon Fruit Sapling[2]
- Lime Sapling[2]
- Orange Fruit Sapling[2]
- Peach Fruit Sapling[2]
- Pear Fruit Sapling[2]
- Plum Fruit Sapling[2]

Automating crops with the Immersive Engineering cloche
Once you're into Immersive Engineering, this pack lets you grow almost the whole crop lineup in a cloche. These cloche recipes were added by the pack. Each one takes the crop's seeds and gives you the harvest plus the seeds back, so one seed keeps a cloche running.[2]
The pack covers vegetables, berries, grains and herbs:[2]
- Vegetables: Asparagus, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Celery, Cucumber, Eggplant, Green Beans, Green Pepper, Lettuce, Radish, Squash, Tomato, Turnip and Zucchini.[2]
- Fruit and berries: Blackberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry and Pineapple.[2]
- Grains: Barley and Rye.[2]
- Herbs: Fresh Basil, Fresh Bay Leaf, Fresh Chive, Fresh Cilantro, Fresh Dill, Fresh Lemongrass, Fresh Mint, Fresh Mustard, Fresh Oregano, Fresh Parsley, Fresh Peppercorn, Fresh Rosemary, Fresh Sage and Fresh Thyme.[2]

Unverified The pack's recipe data doesn't show where you first find the seeds for these crops, or how fast the cloche grows them. Check JEI or experiment in-game. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does Mama's Herbs and Harvest work with other mods?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
The only connection between this mod and another mod that the pack's recipes confirm is a single crafting recipe. No quests in this pack involve the mod.[3]
Bottle of Mint
You can combine Fresh Mint with a Glass Bottle to get a Bottle of Mint. It's a shapeless crafting recipe, so the ingredients can go anywhere in the crafting grid.[3]
Shapeless, so placement in the crafting grid doesn't matter.
If you're growing mint with this mod, this recipe is where it connects to the other mod's items.[3]
