What is Flux Networks?
Flux Networks is included in this pack as version 8.0.0, built for Minecraft 1.21.1.[1]
Unverified Flux Networks is generally known as a wireless power mod that links energy producers and machines into shared networks, so you don't need to run cables across your base. The available sources don't confirm how it works in this pack, who it is aimed at, or where it fits in progression, so check the in-game recipes before planning around it. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with Flux Networks?
4 parts
Flux Networks lets you move power without cables. You put down a Flux Plug to pull energy in and a Flux Point to push it out, and they share energy through your Flux Network. Nearly everything in the mod starts with one material, so let's begin there and work up.[2][3]
Step 1: Get Flux Dust
Flux Dust goes into almost every other Flux Networks recipe, so it's your first goal. This pack adds two extractor recipes from XyCraft Machines that produce Flux Dust without any item inputs.[2]

If you're into bees, a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe also gives Flux Dust, along with Wax.[2]
The Flux Dust tooltip says you get it by compressing Redstone Dust with Bedrock and Obsidian. That is the mod's own description of how to make it.[3]
Unverified The pack's recipe dump doesn't show whether the in-world method from the tooltip works in this pack. If it fails for you, use the extractor or centrifuge recipes above.
Step 2: Flux Core and Flux Block
Once you have some dust, craft a Flux Core. Cores go into the Flux Block, the Flux Plug, the Flux Point and the Flux Controller, so make a few.[2]
Next, make a Flux Block. You'll need it for the Flux Plug, the Flux Controller and Basic Flux Storage.[2]
Step 3: Plugs and Points
Now for your first working network. A Flux Plug passively receives energy from adjacent blocks and adds it to your Flux Network, so put it next to your generators.[2][3]
A Flux Point does the opposite. It actively provides energy to adjacent blocks and takes that energy out of your network, so put it next to the machines you want to power. Heads up: this pack changed the Flux Point recipe, so check the version shown here rather than one you remember from other packs.[2][3]

Step 4: Storage and extras
To buffer energy, craft Basic Flux Storage, which stores energy for your Flux Network. When you want more room, the bigger tiers are Herculean Flux Storage and then Gargantuan Flux Storage.[2][3]

Later on, the Flux Controller enables wireless charging on your Flux Network. It's a great upgrade once your plugs and points are running.[2][3]

You can also craft a Flux Configurator.[2]
Unverified The available sources don't describe what the Flux Configurator does in this pack.

How does Flux Networks work?
7 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Everything in Flux Networks revolves around your Flux Network, and every device has one clear job. A Flux Plug brings energy into the network, a Flux Point sends it back out, Flux Storage blocks hold a buffer, and the Flux Controller adds wireless charging on top.[3]
Plugs and Points: getting energy in and out
The Flux Plug passively receives energy from adjacent blocks and adds it to your network, so put it next to your generators and let them feed it. The Flux Point works the other way: it actively provides energy to adjacent blocks and takes that energy from your network. Place it next to the machines you want to power.[3]
In this pack, Plugs, Points and Controllers start with a default transfer limit of 800,000, set by energy.defaultLimit. All the Mods 10 keeps the mod's default value here.[4]
All the Mods 10 changed the Flux Point recipe from the mod's original, so check the in-pack version below instead of relying on older guides.[5]

Flux Storage tiers
Flux Storage blocks store energy for your network, so you keep a buffer when production and demand don't match up. Each tier has a maximum capacity and a default transfer limit, and all of these values match the mod defaults in this pack.[3][4]
- Basic Flux Storage stores up to 2,000,000 energy with a default transfer limit of 20,000.[4]
- Herculean Flux Storage stores up to 16,000,000 energy with a default transfer limit of 120,000.[4]
- Gargantuan Flux Storage stores up to 128,000,000 energy with a default transfer limit of 720,000.[4]
The two higher tiers use a special Flux Storage recipe type, and each one is crafted from the tier below it. Work your way up in order.[5]

Flux Controller and wireless charging
The Flux Controller enables wireless charging on your Flux Network. Like Plugs and Points, it has a default transfer limit of 800,000 in this pack.[3][4]
Server owners can stop wireless charging from charging specific items with blacklist.itemBlackListStrings. All the Mods 10 leaves that list empty, so no items are excluded by default.[4]

Unverified The range of wireless charging and which inventory slots it charges could not be confirmed from the available sources.
Blocks that Flux devices won't connect to
Server owners can list blocks that Flux devices should not connect to with blacklist.blockBlacklistStrings. All the Mods 10 ships this list with a single entry, an Actually Additions block, so every other block is fair game for your Plugs and Points.[4]
Networks, ownership and Super Admin
Each player can own up to 5 networks in this pack, set by networks.maximumPerPlayer. A Super Admin can bypass that limit.[4]
Super Admin is enabled in this pack through networks.enableSuperAdmin. Without it, nobody could access a Flux device or delete a network without permission. To activate Super Admin, a player needs a permission level of at least 1, set by networks.superAdminRequiredPermission. In single player you bypass that requirement.[4]
Getting Flux Dust
Every Flux device traces back to Flux Dust. The mod's own method, compressing Redstone Dust with Bedrock and Obsidian, is enabled in this pack through general.enableFluxRecipe.[3][4][5]
All the Mods 10 also adds XyCraft Extractor recipes that produce Flux Dust, and it changed a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that gives Flux Dust along with Wax. These are handy options once you want the dust automated.[5]

Configurator and wipe recipes
The mod also has a Flux Configurator, and every Plug, Point, Controller and Storage tier has a wipe recipe that crafts the device back into itself.[5]
Unverified What the Flux Configurator does and exactly what the wipe recipes reset (the recipe type name suggests they clear a device's saved configuration) could not be confirmed from the available sources.
How do you progress through Flux Networks?
5 parts
Flux Networks has a short and very readable progression in this pack. Everything starts with Flux Dust, which you turn into Flux Core and Flux Block. Those two components then unlock the network hardware: the Flux Plug, the Flux Point, the Flux Controller and the three tiers of flux storage.[2]
Getting Flux Dust
Flux Dust is the one resource the whole mod runs on, so sort out a supply first. The pack adds two XyCraft extractor recipes that produce Flux Dust without any item inputs, one of them a bedrock variant. That makes it a good hands-off source once you have XyCraft machines running.[2]
Extractor (xycraft_machines)
Recipe id: allthemods:xycraft/extractor/flux_dust
Added by the pack
Extractor (xycraft_machines)
Recipe id: allthemods:xycraft/extractor/flux_dust_bedrock
Added by the pack, bedrock variant
If you run Productive Bees, you have another option. The centrifuge processes a flux honeycomb into Flux Dust plus Wax.[2]
Unverified Flux Networks traditionally lets you make Flux Dust with an in-world method, but the recipe data for this pack doesn't show whether that method works here or how it works.
Core components
Once you have dust, make the two building blocks that nearly every other Flux Networks item needs. Craft the Flux Core first, because the Flux Block recipe uses it.[2]
- Craft a Flux Core from your Flux Dust.[2]
- Combine Flux Cores and more Flux Dust into a Flux Block.[2]
Connecting your network
With cores and blocks in hand, you can build the hardware that moves energy around. The Flux Plug and the Flux Controller both use Flux Cores and Flux Blocks, and both come straight from the mod's own recipes.[2]

Storage tiers
Flux storage comes in three tiers, and each one is an upgrade of the previous tier. You can't skip straight to the top, so plan to build them in order.[2]
- Basic Flux Storage is the entry tier and is built from a Flux Block.[2]
- Herculean Flux Storage is crafted by upgrading a Basic Flux Storage.[2]
- Gargantuan Flux Storage is the top tier and is crafted by upgrading a Herculean Flux Storage.[2]

Unverified The recipe data for this pack doesn't list how much energy each storage tier holds or how fast it can transfer, so check the tooltips in game.
Configurator and resetting blocks
The Flux Configurator is a handy tool to craft once you have some Flux Dust to spare. It uses the mod's own recipe.[2]
If you want to reuse a placed device, the Flux Plug, Flux Point, Flux Controller and all three storage tiers each have a config wipe recipe. It crafts the item back into itself and clears its stored settings, so you get a fresh copy to reassign.[2]
How does Flux Networks work with other mods?
1 part
In this pack, Flux Networks has one confirmed link to another mod: a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that outputs Flux Dust. That gives you a second route to the dust that powers Flux Networks crafting.[2]
Productive Bees centrifuge
The recipe runs in the Productive Bees centrifuge and gives you Flux Dust along with Wax. The recipe block below shows exactly what goes in.[2]
Centrifuge (productivebees)
Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/fluxnetworks/honeycomb_flux
Outputs Flux Dust and Wax.
Unverified The sources don't say which bee produces the input for this recipe, how much Flux Dust it yields, or how it compares to making Flux Dust the normal way. Check the recipe block and your recipe viewer in-game. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Which Flux Networks config options matter?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Flux Networks keeps its important settings in one server config file, so these values apply to everyone on a server. If you've played Flux Networks elsewhere, there's good news: every numeric setting here matches the mod default, so capacities, transfer limits and network caps work exactly as you'd expect.[4]
Energy storage and transfer
These settings control how much energy each Flux Storage tier holds and how fast devices move power by default. Here's what the pack uses:[4]
- energy.defaultLimit is 800,000. This is the default transfer limit of a Flux Plug, Point and Controller.[4]
- Basic Flux Storage holds 2,000,000 energy (energy.basicCapacity) and has a default transfer limit of 20,000 (energy.basicTransfer).[4]
- Herculean Flux Storage holds 16,000,000 energy (energy.herculeanCapacity) and has a default transfer limit of 120,000 (energy.herculeanTransfer).[4]
- Gargantuan Flux Storage holds 128,000,000 energy (energy.gargantuanCapacity) and has a default transfer limit of 720,000 (energy.gargantuanTransfer).[4]
Networks and Super Admin
Each player can own up to 5 networks (networks.maximumPerPlayer). A Super Admin can go past this limit.[4]
Super Admin is enabled in this pack (networks.enableSuperAdmin). Without it, nobody could access a flux device or delete a network without permission. With it, server staff have a way to deal with other players' networks.[4]
To turn on Super Admin, you need a permission level of at least 1 (networks.superAdminRequiredPermission). Permission levels come from ops.json. In single player you can skip this requirement. Players with permission level 3 or 4 can also use commands to make other people Super Admin, whatever those players' own permission level is.[4]
Chunk loading
Chunk loading is turned off in this pack (general.enableChunkLoading is false). Your flux devices can't keep their own chunks loaded. If you need a setup to keep running while you're away, you'll have to handle chunk loading some other way.[4]
Recipes and blacklists
general.enableFluxRecipe is true, so the mod's in-world method of making flux dust works in this pack.[4]
The block blacklist (blacklist.blockBlacklistStrings) lists blocks that flux devices won't connect to. In this pack it has only a single entry, so the blacklist won't get in your way when you hook up Flux Plugs and Points.[4]
The item blacklist for wireless charging (blacklist.itemBlackListStrings) is empty, so no specific items are excluded from wireless charging.[4]
What changed in Flux Networks between versions?
Flux Networks has a short history in this pack. It was added to All the Mods 10 in version 2.26, arriving as Flux Networks 8.0.0.[6]
As of All the Mods 10 2.36, the pack still ships Flux Networks 8.0.0, in the file FluxNetworks-1.21.1-8.0.0.jar. The mod version hasn't changed since it was added, so what you find in the pack today is the same release it launched with.[1][6]
Unverified We don't have the mod's own changelog for this release, so we can't list specific features, fixes or balance changes in this version of Flux Networks. If you're coming from an older modpack with a different Flux Networks version, check your setup in game rather than assuming it works the same way.
