What is Flux Networks?
Flux Networks is included in this pack as version 8.0.0, built for Minecraft 1.21.1. It isn't a recent addition: it has been part of the pack since version 2.26 or earlier.[1]
Unverified What Flux Networks does, who it suits best and where it fits in this pack's progression couldn't be confirmed yet. Check the recipe and item sections of this guide, or try it out in-game.
How do you get started with Flux Networks?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.36 guide
Flux Networks lets you move power without cables. You put down a Flux Plug to pull energy in and a Flux Point to push it out, and they share energy through your Flux Network. Nearly everything in the mod starts with one material, so let's begin there and work up.[2][3]
Step 1: Get Flux Dust
Flux Dust goes into almost every other Flux Networks recipe, so it's your first goal. This pack adds two extractor recipes from XyCraft Machines that produce Flux Dust without any item inputs.[2]

If you're into bees, a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe also gives Flux Dust, along with Wax.[2]
The Flux Dust tooltip says you get it by compressing Redstone Dust with Bedrock and Obsidian. That is the mod's own description of how to make it.[3]
Unverified The pack's recipe dump doesn't show whether the in-world method from the tooltip works in this pack. If it fails for you, use the extractor or centrifuge recipes above.
Step 2: Flux Core and Flux Block
Once you have some dust, craft a Flux Core. Cores go into the Flux Block, the Flux Plug, the Flux Point and the Flux Controller, so make a few.[2]
Next, make a Flux Block. You'll need it for the Flux Plug, the Flux Controller and Basic Flux Storage.[2]
Step 3: Plugs and Points
Now for your first working network. A Flux Plug passively receives energy from adjacent blocks and adds it to your Flux Network, so put it next to your generators.[2][3]
A Flux Point does the opposite. It actively provides energy to adjacent blocks and takes that energy out of your network, so put it next to the machines you want to power. Heads up: this pack changed the Flux Point recipe, so check the version shown here rather than one you remember from other packs.[2][3]

Step 4: Storage and extras
To buffer energy, craft Basic Flux Storage, which stores energy for your Flux Network. When you want more room, the bigger tiers are Herculean Flux Storage and then Gargantuan Flux Storage.[2][3]

Later on, the Flux Controller enables wireless charging on your Flux Network. It's a great upgrade once your plugs and points are running.[2][3]

How does Flux Networks work?
8 parts
Flux Networks is a wireless energy system. You build a network, then connect blocks to it. Some blocks put energy in, some take it out, and some just hold it. There is no wiring between them. The sources for this pack don't give transfer rates or capacities, so this section sticks to how the parts fit together.[3]
The connection blocks
- Flux Plug: receives energy from adjacent blocks passively and adds it to your Flux Network. Think of it as the input side.[3]
- Flux Point: provides energy to adjacent blocks actively and removes it from your Flux Network. Think of it as the output side.[3]
- Flux Storage (Basic Flux Storage, Herculean Flux Storage and Gargantuan Flux Storage): stores energy for your Flux Network.[3]
- Flux Controller: enables Wireless Charging on your Flux Network. The game tells you if you try to add a Controller to a network that already has one.[3]
The Network Statistics screen counts your connections as Controllers, Plugs, Points and Storages.[3]
Crafting the blocks
Everything starts from Flux Dust and Flux Core. In this pack a single craft of the core gives you 4 cores. The Flux Block is made from a core and dust, and it feeds into most of the other blocks.[4]
The pack changed the Flux Point recipe, so don't trust a recipe you remember from the mod's defaults. The one below is the pack's version.[4]

Storage tiers
Storage upgrades in a chain. Basic comes from a Flux Block plus glass panes. Herculean is made from a Basic Flux Storage plus glass panes, and Gargantuan from a Herculean one plus glass panes. Each step uses a special flux storage recipe type, so you upgrade the previous tier rather than starting over.[4]

Getting Flux Dust
The dust's tooltip says it is obtained by compressing Redstone Dust with Bedrock and Obsidian. The pack also adds Xycraft extractor recipes that produce it, and there is a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that gives Flux Dust along with Wax.[3][4]

Networks, security and access
When you create a network you set its name, color, energy type, password and security. The security options are Encrypted, Private and Public. If you hit the cap on how many networks you can make, the game tells you so.[3]
Players on a network have an access level: Owner, Admin, User, or Stranger for players without access. There is also a Super Admin status that you can switch on and off. The network screens offer Transfer Ownership, Delete Network, Set as Admin and Set as User, and some operations tell you they need admin or owner access.[3]
Per-connection settings
Each connected block has its own settings. These include Priority, Transfer Limit, Bypass Limit and Chunk Loading, and the screens also show the block's buffer and its average tick. Power Surge is a priority option labeled Very High. Chunk loading can be banned on a server, in which case the mod tells you.[3]
The mod has Batch Editing Mode for changing many connections at once, and Single Editing Mode for one. In batch mode you select items, then edit them or disconnect them. The mod also shows Copied Configuration and Pasted Configuration messages. The sources don't say how those are triggered.[3]
Wireless charging
Wireless Charging has its own tab, and you enable it per network. If the network isn't wireless, the screen warns that Wireless Charging is Ineffective, and when it is set up properly it reads Effective. The slots listed for charging are armor, Curios, hotbar, main hand and off hand. The Main Inventory entry is shown as Disabled.[3]
Other items
The Flux Configurator is its own crafted item. The mod also has an Admin Configurator. The sources don't describe what either one does in the world, so I won't guess.[3][4]
There are also wipe recipes for the Plug, Point, Controller and every storage tier. They use a config wipe recipe type that takes one of these blocks and returns the same block.[4]
How do you progress through Flux Networks?
5 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.36 guide
Flux Networks has a short and very readable progression in this pack. Everything starts with Flux Dust, which you turn into Flux Core and Flux Block. Those two components then unlock the network hardware: the Flux Plug, the Flux Point, the Flux Controller and the three tiers of flux storage.[2]
Getting Flux Dust
Flux Dust is the one resource the whole mod runs on, so sort out a supply first. The pack adds two XyCraft extractor recipes that produce Flux Dust without any item inputs, one of them a bedrock variant. That makes it a good hands-off source once you have XyCraft machines running.[2]

Recipe id: allthemods:xycraft/extractor/flux_dust
Added by the pack
Extractor (xycraft_machines)
Recipe id: allthemods:xycraft/extractor/flux_dust_bedrock

If you run Productive Bees, you have another option. The centrifuge processes a flux honeycomb into Flux Dust plus Wax.[2]
Unverified Flux Networks traditionally lets you make Flux Dust with an in-world method, but the recipe data for this pack doesn't show whether that method works here or how it works.
Core components
Once you have dust, make the two building blocks that nearly every other Flux Networks item needs. Craft the Flux Core first, because the Flux Block recipe uses it.[2]
- Craft a Flux Core from your Flux Dust.[2]
- Combine Flux Cores and more Flux Dust into a Flux Block.[2]
Connecting your network
With cores and blocks in hand, you can build the hardware that moves energy around. The Flux Plug and the Flux Controller both use Flux Cores and Flux Blocks, and both come straight from the mod's own recipes.[2]

Storage tiers
Flux storage comes in three tiers, and each one is an upgrade of the previous tier. You can't skip straight to the top, so plan to build them in order.[2]
- Basic Flux Storage is the entry tier and is built from a Flux Block.[2]
- Herculean Flux Storage is crafted by upgrading a Basic Flux Storage.[2]
- Gargantuan Flux Storage is the top tier and is crafted by upgrading a Herculean Flux Storage.[2]

Unverified The recipe data for this pack doesn't list how much energy each storage tier holds or how fast it can transfer, so check the tooltips in game.
Configurator and resetting blocks
The Flux Configurator is a handy tool to craft once you have some Flux Dust to spare. It uses the mod's own recipe.[2]
If you want to reuse a placed device, the Flux Plug, Flux Point, Flux Controller and all three storage tiers each have a config wipe recipe. It crafts the item back into itself and clears its stored settings, so you get a fresh copy to reassign.[2]
How does Flux Networks work with other mods?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.36 guide
In this pack, Flux Networks has one confirmed link to another mod: a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that outputs Flux Dust. That gives you a second route to the dust that powers Flux Networks crafting.[2]
Productive Bees centrifuge
The recipe runs in the Productive Bees centrifuge and gives you Flux Dust along with Wax. The recipe block below shows exactly what goes in.[2]
Centrifuge (productivebees)
Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/fluxnetworks/honeycomb_flux
Outputs Flux Dust and Wax.
Unverified The sources don't say which bee produces the input for this recipe, how much Flux Dust it yields, or how it compares to making Flux Dust the normal way. Check the recipe block and your recipe viewer in-game. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
What changed in Flux Networks between versions?
Flux Networks joined the pack in All the Mods 10 2.26, which added version 8.0.0 of the mod.[5]
The mod is still on 8.0.0 in All the Mods 10 2.31, shipped as the file FluxNetworks-1.21.1-8.0.0.jar. That means the version you're playing now is the same one that came in with 2.26, so anything you learned about it back then still applies.[1][5]
Unverified We don't have the mod's own changelogs, so we can't list what's new in 8.0.0 compared with earlier Flux Networks releases.
