What is Flux Networks?
2 parts
Flux Networks is all about moving power wirelessly. It can't generate any energy on its own. Instead, it stores the power you already produce and sends it wherever you need it, even across dimensions. It can also charge the items in your inventory, including your Jetpacks while you're flying.[1]
All the Mods 10 8.1 ships Flux Networks version 8.0.0, and the mod has been in the pack since version 2.26 or earlier.[2]
Who it's for
This mod is for you if you want power delivered without running cables everywhere. A Flux Plug draws power from the block it's attached to, such as a storage block, a cable, a pipe or a generator's output. A Flux Point sends that network power into whatever it's placed on, whether that's a machine, a cable or a pipe. On each Point you pick your network in the Network Selection tab, and you can adjust how much power it pulls and set its priority.[1]
Where it fits in the pack
The questline for this mod is in the Basic Power chapter, and "Flux Networks" quest opens up after the Transferring Power quest. To get started you need Flux Dust. Head down to Bedrock and throw some Redstone on top of it. Then place Obsidian right above the floating Redstone and left-click the Obsidian.[1]
- Make a few Flux Core and Flux Block, which you need to craft the core parts of your network. That's "The "Core" Crafting Materials" quest.[1]
- Craft a Flux Plug to draw power into your network. That's "Starting Your Network" quest.[1]
- Place Flux Points to deliver that power to your machines. That's "Accessing Network Power" quest.[1]
- Add Basic Flux Storage to hold massive amounts of power. You can upgrade it to store even more. That's "Flux Storage" quest.[1]
- Build a Flux Controller to keep chosen sections of your inventory charged wirelessly. That's "Wireless Charging" quest.[1]
How do you get started with Flux Networks?
5 parts
Flux Networks is your wireless power system. It stores energy and sends it around wirelessly, even across dimensions, and it can charge the items in your inventory. It does not generate any power itself, so you need a working power setup before you start. In this pack it lives in the Basic Power quest chapter, starting with "Flux Networks" quest.[1]
Step 1: Flux Dust
Everything in the mod starts with Flux Dust. The classic way to get it happens in the world. Go down to Bedrock and throw some Redstone onto a Bedrock block. Place Obsidian right above the floating Redstone, then left-click the Obsidian. This compresses the Redstone Dust into Flux Dust.[1][3]
This pack also adds its own extractor recipes that produce Flux Dust. It also changed a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that gives Flux Dust along with Wax. These are handy if you want to automate your dust supply later.[4]

Step 2: Flux Cores and Flux Blocks
Next up is "The "Core" Crafting Materials" quest. You need Flux Core and Flux Block to craft the core parts of your network, so the quest tells you to make a few of each. A Flux Block needs a Flux Core, so make the cores first.[1][4]
Step 3: The Flux Plug
The Flux Plug is the first real piece of your network, covered in "Starting Your Network" quest. It passively takes in energy from the block it is attached to and adds it to your Flux Network. Apart from a small buffer, it does not store power itself. The quest suggests putting it on a power storage block like an Energy Cube, but it also works on cables, pipes or the output of any power-producing machine.[1][3]
Step 4: The Flux Point
Once power is flowing in, you need a way to get it out. That is the job of the Flux Point from "Accessing Network Power" quest. It actively pushes energy from your network into whatever it is attached to: machines, cables or pipes. After you place it, right-click it and pick your network in the Network Selection tab. Like the Plug, you can adjust how much power it pulls and its priority level. Heads up: this pack changed the Flux Point recipe, so use the version shown here instead of an older guide.[1][3][4]

Unverified The Flux Plug quest points to a follow-up quest about setting up your first network, but that quest's steps are not in the available sources. The exact way to create and name a network is not covered here.
Optional next steps
- Basic Flux Storage ("Flux Storage" quest) stores energy for your network. You can upgrade it into Herculean Flux Storage and then Gargantuan Flux Storage to store even more.[1][3][4]
- Flux Controller ("Wireless Charging" quest) enables wireless charging. Place it and right-click it, then open the Wireless Charging tab and choose which inventory sections to charge. Turn on the toggle at the bottom and click apply.[1][3]

How does Flux Networks work?
7 parts
Everything in Flux Networks revolves around your Flux Network, and every device has one clear job. A Flux Plug brings energy into the network, a Flux Point sends it back out, Flux Storage blocks hold a buffer, and the Flux Controller adds wireless charging on top.[3]
Plugs and Points: getting energy in and out
The Flux Plug passively receives energy from adjacent blocks and adds it to your network, so put it next to your generators and let them feed it. The Flux Point works the other way: it actively provides energy to adjacent blocks and takes that energy from your network. Place it next to the machines you want to power.[3]
In this pack, Plugs, Points and Controllers start with a default transfer limit of 800,000, set by energy.defaultLimit. All the Mods 10 keeps the mod's default value here.[5]
All the Mods 10 changed the Flux Point recipe from the mod's original, so check the in-pack version below instead of relying on older guides.[4]

Flux Storage tiers
Flux Storage blocks store energy for your network, so you keep a buffer when production and demand don't match up. Each tier has a maximum capacity and a default transfer limit, and all of these values match the mod defaults in this pack.[3][5]
- Basic Flux Storage stores up to 2,000,000 energy with a default transfer limit of 20,000.[5]
- Herculean Flux Storage stores up to 16,000,000 energy with a default transfer limit of 120,000.[5]
- Gargantuan Flux Storage stores up to 128,000,000 energy with a default transfer limit of 720,000.[5]
The two higher tiers use a special Flux Storage recipe type, and each one is crafted from the tier below it. Work your way up in order.[4]

Flux Controller and wireless charging
The Flux Controller enables wireless charging on your Flux Network. Like Plugs and Points, it has a default transfer limit of 800,000 in this pack.[3][5]
Server owners can stop wireless charging from charging specific items with blacklist.itemBlackListStrings. All the Mods 10 leaves that list empty, so no items are excluded by default.[5]

Unverified The range of wireless charging and which inventory slots it charges could not be confirmed from the available sources.
Blocks that Flux devices won't connect to
Server owners can list blocks that Flux devices should not connect to with blacklist.blockBlacklistStrings. All the Mods 10 ships this list with a single entry, an Actually Additions block, so every other block is fair game for your Plugs and Points.[5]
Networks, ownership and Super Admin
Each player can own up to 5 networks in this pack, set by networks.maximumPerPlayer. A Super Admin can bypass that limit.[5]
Super Admin is enabled in this pack through networks.enableSuperAdmin. Without it, nobody could access a Flux device or delete a network without permission. To activate Super Admin, a player needs a permission level of at least 1, set by networks.superAdminRequiredPermission. In single player you bypass that requirement.[5]
Getting Flux Dust
Every Flux device traces back to Flux Dust. The mod's own method, compressing Redstone Dust with Bedrock and Obsidian, is enabled in this pack through general.enableFluxRecipe.[3][4][5]
All the Mods 10 also adds XyCraft Extractor recipes that produce Flux Dust, and it changed a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that gives Flux Dust along with Wax. These are handy options once you want the dust automated.[4]

Configurator and wipe recipes
The mod also has a Flux Configurator, and every Plug, Point, Controller and Storage tier has a wipe recipe that crafts the device back into itself.[4]
Unverified What the Flux Configurator does and exactly what the wipe recipes reset (the recipe type name suggests they clear a device's saved configuration) could not be confirmed from the available sources.
How do you progress through Flux Networks?
8 parts
Flux Networks lives in the "Basic Power" quest chapter. Its opening quest, "Flux Networks" quest, unlocks once you've finished Transferring Power. The mod doesn't generate any power itself. Instead, it stores your power and sends it wirelessly, even across dimensions. It can also charge the items in your inventory, including your Jetpack while you're flying.[1]
Step 1: Getting Flux Dust
Everything in this mod starts with Flux Dust, and getting some is the goal of the first quest. The quest's method is to head down to Bedrock and throw some Redstone on top of a Bedrock block. Then place Obsidian right above the floating Redstone and left-click the Obsidian.[1]
The pack also adds XyCraft Machines extractor recipes that produce Flux Dust with no item inputs. If you're into bees, there's a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe, changed by the pack, that gives Flux Dust along with Wax.[4]

Step 2: The core crafting materials
Next up is "The "Core" Crafting Materials" quest. It asks for a Flux Core and a Flux Block. You'll need these to craft the core parts of your network, so take the quest's advice and make a few of each.[1]
Step 3: Starting your network with a Flux Plug
"Starting Your Network" quest gets you your first Flux Plug. The Plug draws power from whatever block it's attached to. Apart from a small buffer, it doesn't store any power itself, so it won't drain everything you have. The quest suggests putting it on a power storage block like an Energy Cube, but it also connects to cables, pipes or the output of any power-producing machine.[1]
Step 4: Branching out
After that, the chapter branches into three quests that share the same prerequisite: the Flux Point, Flux Storage and Wireless Charging.[1]
Unverified The shared prerequisite quest for these three branches isn't described here. The Plug quest says the next quest shows you how to set up your first network.
Flux Point: using your power
"Accessing Network Power" quest asks for a Flux Point, which sends power from your network into whatever it's attached to. That can be a pipe, a cable or a machine directly. After placing it, right-click it and pick your network in the "Network Selection" tab. Just like the Plug, you can adjust things such as how much power it pulls and its priority level.[1]

Flux Storage: three tiers
"Flux Storage" quest only asks for the first tier, but the quest mentions that storage can be upgraded to hold even more. In this pack, the storage tiers form a chain, with each higher tier crafted by upgrading the one below it.[1][4]
- Basic Flux Storage is the entry tier and the one the quest asks for.[1][4]
- Herculean Flux Storage is the middle tier, made by upgrading a Basic Flux Storage.[4]
- Gargantuan Flux Storage is the top tier, made by upgrading a Herculean Flux Storage.[4]

Flux Controller: wireless charging
"Wireless Charging" quest is all about the Flux Controller. With a Plug attached to your power system, place the Controller down and right-click it. In the "Wireless Charging" tab, choose which sections of your inventory to keep charged. Then hit the toggle button at the bottom to enable Wireless Charging and click apply. It works across dimensions too.[1]

Extras outside the quest line
The Flux Configurator has a recipe in the pack, but none of the quests ask for it.[1][4]
Unverified What the Flux Configurator does, and exactly which settings a config-wipe craft resets, aren't confirmed here.
How does Flux Networks work with other mods?
3 parts
Flux Networks doesn't make power on its own. It stores energy and sends it wirelessly, even across dimensions, so most of its connections to other mods come from hooking into the power setups you already have. In this pack there's also a crafting link with Productive Bees that can supply you with Flux Dust.[1][4]
Flux Dust from Productive Bees
The questline's main route to Flux Dust is an in-world trick. Go down to Bedrock, throw Redstone on top of it, place Obsidian just above the floating Redstone, then left-click the Obsidian. The pack also has a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe for a flux honeycomb that gives you Flux Dust along with Wax. The pack changed this recipe, so check the version shown here rather than one from another pack.[1][4]
Centrifuge (productivebees)
Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/fluxnetworks/honeycomb_flux
Centrifuge output: Flux Dust and Wax
Unverified The pack's recipe data lists no item input for this centrifuge recipe, so the sources don't confirm which honeycomb goes in or which bee produces it. Check the rendered recipe above or look in-game. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Plugging into other mods' power
A Flux Plug draws power from whatever block it's attached to. It can connect to Cables, Pipes or the output of any power-producing machine. The quest suggests putting it on a power storage block such as an Energy Cube. Apart from a small buffer, the Plug stores no power itself, so it won't drain your storage by itself.[1]
On the output side, a Flux Point sends network power into the block it's placed on. That can be Pipes, Cables or a machine directly. Right-click it and pick your network in the Network Selection tab. Just like with the Plug, you can adjust how much power it pulls and its priority.[1]
Charging gear from other mods
The Flux Controller charges items in your inventory wirelessly, even across dimensions. The quest points out that this means you can charge your Jetpacks while you're flying. Place the Controller, open the Wireless Charging tab, choose which inventory sections to keep charged, switch on the toggle at the bottom and click apply.[1]
Which All the Mods 10 quests use Flux Networks?
2 parts
All the Flux Networks quests in this pack are in the "Basic Power" chapter. They follow on from the "Transferring Power" quest. The line starts with the mod's core idea: Flux Networks doesn't generate power, but it can store power and send it wirelessly, even across dimensions. It can even charge items in your inventory, including your Jetpacks while you're flying.[1]
Getting started
- "Flux Networks" quest asks for Flux Dust. To make it, go down to Bedrock and throw some Redstone on top of the Bedrock. Then place Obsidian right above the floating Redstone and left-click the Obsidian.[1]
- "The "Core" Crafting Materials" quest asks for a Flux Core and a Flux Block. You use both to craft the core parts of your network, so the quest suggests making a few of each.[1]
- "Starting Your Network" quest asks for a Flux Plug, the first piece of any network. The Plug draws power from the block it's attached to. It connects to Cables, Pipes, or the output of any power-producing machine, and the quest suggests putting it on a power storage block such as an Energy Cube. Apart from a small buffer, it stores no power itself, so it won't drain your whole power supply.[1]
Using your network
Once your Plug is in place, the chapter splits into three quests that each cover a different use of your network's power. You can do them in any order.[1]
- "Accessing Network Power" quest asks for a Flux Point. The Point sends power from your network into whatever it's attached to: Pipes, Cables, or machines directly. After placing it, right-click it and pick your network in the "Network Selection" tab. Like the Plug, you can adjust things such as how much power it pulls and its priority level.[1]
- "Flux Storage" quest asks for a Basic Flux Storage. Flux storage blocks store your network's power, hold massive amounts overall, and can be upgraded to store even more.[1]
- "Wireless Charging" quest asks for a Flux Controller. With a Plug attached to your power system, place the Controller and right-click it. In the "Wireless Charging" tab, choose which sections of your inventory to keep charged. Then turn on the toggle at the bottom and click apply.[1]
Unverified The three quests in "Using your network" all unlock from a quest that isn't included in the provided quest data. Starting Your Network points to a "next quest" about setting up your first network, but that quest's name and requirements can't be confirmed here.
Which Flux Networks config options matter?
4 parts
Flux Networks keeps its important settings in one server config file, so these values apply to everyone on a server. If you've played Flux Networks elsewhere, there's good news: every numeric setting here matches the mod default, so capacities, transfer limits and network caps work exactly as you'd expect.[5]
Energy storage and transfer
These settings control how much energy each Flux Storage tier holds and how fast devices move power by default. Here's what the pack uses:[5]
- energy.defaultLimit is 800,000. This is the default transfer limit of a Flux Plug, Point and Controller.[5]
- Basic Flux Storage holds 2,000,000 energy (energy.basicCapacity) and has a default transfer limit of 20,000 (energy.basicTransfer).[5]
- Herculean Flux Storage holds 16,000,000 energy (energy.herculeanCapacity) and has a default transfer limit of 120,000 (energy.herculeanTransfer).[5]
- Gargantuan Flux Storage holds 128,000,000 energy (energy.gargantuanCapacity) and has a default transfer limit of 720,000 (energy.gargantuanTransfer).[5]
Networks and Super Admin
Each player can own up to 5 networks (networks.maximumPerPlayer). A Super Admin can go past this limit.[5]
Super Admin is enabled in this pack (networks.enableSuperAdmin). Without it, nobody could access a flux device or delete a network without permission. With it, server staff have a way to deal with other players' networks.[5]
To turn on Super Admin, you need a permission level of at least 1 (networks.superAdminRequiredPermission). Permission levels come from ops.json. In single player you can skip this requirement. Players with permission level 3 or 4 can also use commands to make other people Super Admin, whatever those players' own permission level is.[5]
Chunk loading
Chunk loading is turned off in this pack (general.enableChunkLoading is false). Your flux devices can't keep their own chunks loaded. If you need a setup to keep running while you're away, you'll have to handle chunk loading some other way.[5]
Recipes and blacklists
general.enableFluxRecipe is true, so the mod's in-world method of making flux dust works in this pack.[5]
The block blacklist (blacklist.blockBlacklistStrings) lists blocks that flux devices won't connect to. In this pack it has only a single entry, so the blacklist won't get in your way when you hook up Flux Plugs and Points.[5]
The item blacklist for wireless charging (blacklist.itemBlackListStrings) is empty, so no specific items are excluded from wireless charging.[5]
What changed in Flux Networks between versions?
Flux Networks joined All the Mods 10 in pack version 2.26, when the pack changelog lists it as newly added at mod version 8.0.0.[6]
In All the Mods 10 8.1 you're still on Flux Networks 8.0.0, the build for Minecraft 1.21.1. That's the same mod version the pack first shipped in 2.26, so this pack's changelogs record no version bump for Flux Networks.[2][6]
Unverified What changed inside Flux Networks 8.0.0 compared to earlier versions of the mod, and whether the pack adjusted any of its recipes or settings along the way, can't be confirmed here because the mod's own changelogs aren't available.
