What is More Red?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.12 guide
More Red is included in this pack at version 6.0.0.3, built for Minecraft 1.21.1 (the jar is morered-1.21.1-6.0.0.3.jar). It has been part of the pack since version 0.32 or earlier, so it's a long-standing member of the mod list.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what More Red adds, who it suits, or its recipes, configs and mechanics in this pack. I'm not guessing at those. The pack's mod list is the only confirmed information so far.
Unverified I found no quests in this pack that involve More Red, and the mod doesn't appear on the ATM Star path. No platform page or in-jar guidebook was available to confirm either point or to say where the mod fits in progression.
How do you get started with More Red?
5 parts
Same as in the All the Mons 1.3.0 guide
Welcome to More Red! In this pack the early game is about getting a supply of red alloy, building a Soldering Table, and then crafting your first logic parts and cables. Here is the order I would tackle things in.[2]
First: make red alloy
Start with the Red Alloy Ingot. This is one of the recipes the pack changed, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults. Use the recipe below as the pack's version. The sources here do not show what exactly was changed.[2]

This is the pack's changed version of the recipe.
Next, turn the ingot into Red Alloy Wire. The wire is an ingredient in the network cables and in the Redwire Spool, so you will want a good stack of it.[2]

Second: build a Soldering Table
The Soldering Table is worth building early. Many of the logic parts have a second recipe with a "from soldering" id, which uses the mod's soldering recipe type instead of a normal crafting grid.[2]

The table is crafted in a normal crafting grid.
Third: craft your first logic parts
Once you have the table, start with the simple parts. The Diode and the NOT Gate are good first builds. Each has a crafting recipe and a soldering recipe.[2]

Recipe id: morered:not_gate

The AND Gate, OR Gate, NAND Gate, NOR Gate and Latch follow the same pattern, with both a crafting recipe and a soldering recipe.[2]
Fourth: move on to cables
When you want to run signals over a distance, craft network cables. They come in one recipe per dye colour, and the Red Network Cable is the red one. You can then craft cables into a Bundled Network Cable, which the bundled parts need.[2]

Each colour has its own recipe, this one is the red cable.

This recipe takes network cables as its ingredient.
After that, the Redwire Spool and Redwire Post are the next things to look at, along with the Bundled Cable Spool and Bundled Cable Post.[2]
A quest that uses More Red
You will also meet this mod outside redstone work. The Meltan quest in the Legendaries chapter lists a Red Network Cable among its tasks and asks you to set it on the altar, so a spare one is worth keeping. See "Meltan" quest for the full ritual.[3]
How does More Red work?
4 parts
The sources for this mod are thin: they cover names and recipes, not a full explanation of how signals behave. So this section sticks to what the pack's recipes and names show, and I won't guess at the rest.[4][5]
Two ways to make logic gates
The mod has a Soldering Table, and its recipes show up under a "Soldering" category. Several parts have both a normal crafting recipe and a soldering recipe, including the AND Gate, the Two Input AND Gate and the Diode. Here is the AND Gate both ways, then the Diode both ways:[4][5]

Recipe id: morered:diode
The recipe dump counts 17 soldering recipes in one group and 8 in another, so soldering is a big part of the mod. The second group includes ones that use bundled network cable.[5]
Some parts are crafted only the normal way, as far as the sources show. The Multiplexer and the Pulse Gate both have shaped crafting recipes, and no soldering recipe for them is listed.[5]
Gate lineup
The language file lists a wide set of gates: NOT, OR, NAND, NOR, XOR and XNOR, plus Two Input versions of AND and NAND. There is also a Latch and a Hexidecrubrometer. Bitwise versions exist too: AND, OR, XOR, XNOR and NOT, along with the Bitwise Diode. The sources only give names for most of these, so I can't say exactly what each one does.[4]
Network cables and bundled cables
Network cables come in many dye colours, such as Black Network Cable, Blue Network Cable and Brown Network Cable. Here is the black one:[4]
Crafting Shaped

Recipe id: morered:black_network_cable
One craft makes 8 cables.
Network cables can be turned into Bundled Network Cable. The bundled cable is the base for its own hardware: the Bundled Cable Post, the Bundled Cable Relay Plate and the Bundled Cable Spool. The Bitwise AND Gate and the Bitwise Diode have soldering recipes that use bundled cable too. The recipes are below.[4][5]

There are also separate Redwire Post blocks (Redwire Post, Redwire Post Plate and Redwire Post Relay Plate) and a Redwire Spool. The sources list only their names, with no recipes or behaviour.[4]
Materials
The Red Alloy Ingot recipe is marked as changed by the pack, so don't assume the mod's default recipe applies here. Check the exact in-pack recipe:[5]

The Stone Plate is made by stonecutting smooth stone. A full smooth stone block gives 8 plates, and a smooth stone slab gives 4.[5]

Unverified How signal strength, bundled cable channels, gate timing and the Soldering Table interface actually work is not explained in the sources for this pack, so it is unconfirmed here.
How do you progress through More Red?
6 parts
Same as in the All the Mons 1.3.0 guide
More Red doesn't have its own quest chain in this pack, so there's no questbook ladder to follow. The tiers below come from the in-pack recipes, which show a clear order of what unlocks what.[2][3]
Tier 1: Red alloy
Everything starts with the Red Alloy Ingot. The pack changed this recipe from the mod's own version, so don't rely on what you remember from other packs. The recipe below is the one that counts here.[2]
Crafting Shapeless
- any red alloyable ingot

The ingot then becomes Red Alloy Wire, which almost every later tier builds on.[2]

Tier 2: Soldering Table and basic gates
Next, build the Soldering Table. It unlocks a second way to make most of the mod's logic parts.[2]

The basic gates, such as the AND Gate, OR Gate, NOT Gate, XOR Gate and Diode, each come in two forms in the pack: a crafting recipe and a Soldering Table recipe. The two AND Gate versions are shown below.[2]

Redwire posts and relays
Once you have red alloy, you can move signals further with the Redwire Post, Redwire Post Plate, Redwire Post Relay Plate and Redwire Spool. The post and spool recipes are shown below.[2]

Network cables and bundled cables
Network cables come in colors, such as the Red Network Cable. Each colored recipe takes a matching dye, wool and red alloy wire.[2]

Bitwise gates and the Hexidecrubrometer
The bundled tier leads into the bitwise gates: Bitwise AND Gate, Bitwise OR Gate, Bitwise NOT Gate, Bitwise XOR Gate, Bitwise XNOR Gate and Bitwise Diode. The recipes in the pack show only soldering recipes for these, so you need the Soldering Table. Two examples are shown below.[2]

Where the quests touch the mod
The only quest in the sources that uses More Red is "Meltan" quest in the Legendaries chapter. One of its tasks is a Red Network Cable, so you only need the network cable tier for it. The wiring tiers beyond that are optional for this quest.[3]
Unverified Whether any other quest in the pack requires More Red items is not confirmed by the available sources.
How does More Red work with other mods?
1 part
The only link between More Red and another mod that the pack data confirms is a single recipe. It uses the Red Network Cable as one of the inputs in a ritual that was added by the pack.[5]
Summoning Rituals altar recipe
The recipe id is allthemons:meltan, and it is made on a Summoning Rituals altar rather than at a normal crafting station. It combines the cable with items from other mods: Black Laser Lens, Salamander's Eye and Ring Cast. The result is Pokemon Model.[5]
This recipe is added by the pack, so you won't find it in the mods' default recipes.
