What is Create: Apokinetics?
3 parts
Create: Apokinetics is where Apotheosis meets Create. You use the Apokinetic Wrench to open sockets on supported Create machines, then slot in Machine Gems to tune your factory. This pack includes version 1.0.6 of the mod.[1][2]
What the gems do
There are twelve Machine Gems, and each one boosts a different part of a factory. A gem's purity sets its starting strength, and you can charge gems with Rotation on the RPM-powered Apokinetic Table so their bonuses grow further.[1]
- Velocity speeds up processing, Equilibrium lowers stress, Precision can preserve inputs, and Yielding adds outputs.[1]
- Impact increases mechanical force, Extension adds reach and range, and Rupture improves breaking and contact damage.[1]
- Ignition improves heat and fuel efficiency, Flowing improves fluid machinery, and Conveyance speeds up logistics.[1]
- Frostwork unlocks cold-fan recipes. Momentum unlocks high-speed belt recipes and boosts kinetic sources.[1]
Pylon and diagnostic tools
The Kinetic Pylon turns nearby Apothic Enchanting stats into factory buffs. Eterna reduces network stress use, Arcana increases generated stress capacity, and Quanta temporarily boosts nearby player gem stats.[1]
For troubleshooting, the Factory Locator traces moving items. The Factory Scanner groups nearby kinetic networks and shows RPM, stress, machine states and likely problems.[1]
Who it is for
This mod is for you if you already build Create factories and want a deeper layer of upgrades from the Apotheosis side of the pack. It is also handy if you like tuning stress, speed and output rather than just building bigger.[1]
Almost everything is configurable in-game under Mods → Apokinetics or in config/apokinetics-common.toml. That covers sockets, gem bonuses per purity, the Pylon, Frostwork and Momentum, the factory tools, and the Table.[1]
Unverified The sources do not show any quests for this mod in this pack, and it is not on the ATM Star path. They also do not show whether the pack changed any of the mod's default config values, so check the config file in your own instance before relying on specific numbers.
How do you get started with Create: Apokinetics?
5 parts
Create: Apokinetics lets you open sockets on supported Create machines with the Apokinetic Wrench and tune your factory with Machine Gems. Everything starts with one crafted item, so build in this order.[1]
Make an Apokinetic Shard first
The Apokinetic Shard comes first because it goes into every machine gem and into the Wrench, Table, Locator, Scanner and Kinetic Pylon. The pack changed the shaped recipe, so use the one below and not what you remember from the mod's defaults.[3][4]

The mod also has a belt-based shard recipe that opens up once you have obtained Momentum, and the mod describes it as producing two shards instead of one. The pack changed that recipe too, so check JEI for its exact ingredients, output and RPM before you build a line for it.[3][4]

Craft the Apokinetic Wrench
The wrench opens the Apokinetic sockets on a compatible machine. Otherwise it behaves like a normal Create Wrench, and sneak-using it forces the normal Wrench action. Each active socket holds one bound machine gem.[4]

Build the Apokinetic Table
The Apokinetic Table charges a bound gem with rotation, and it needs to be powered from below. Right-click an empty Table with a valid gem to insert one, then open its screen to see the gem's total Rotation and level progress. This recipe is the mod's own, and the pack did not change it.[3][4]

Once each second the Table adds your rounded RPM as permanent Rotation, so at 64 RPM a gem gains 64 Rotation per second in either direction. Those levels then multiply the gem's supported numeric bonuses. The Table only charges a gem category that is enabled in config.[4]
Add the factory tools
The Factory Locator traces one exact item stack through your factory. Right-click a Belt, Basin, Depot, Chute, inventory or hovered loose stack to start the trace, and use it on the same stack again to stop. Sneak-use it to pick a highlight color before you start.[1][4]

The Factory Scanner is the upgrade. It inspects loaded Create kinetics within its configured radius, stopping at the configured scan-work cap, and reports each connected network as stable, idle or overstressed, along with RPM and stress data. The Locator is one of its ingredients, so craft the Locator first.[1][3][4]

Later: the Kinetic Pylon
The Kinetic Pylon converts nearby Apothic Enchanting stats into factory buffs. Eterna reduces network stress use, Arcana increases generated stress capacity, and Quanta temporarily boosts nearby player gem stats.[1]

How does Create: Apokinetics work?
7 parts
Apokinetics is built around one idea: you open sockets on supported Create machines with the Apokinetic Wrench, then tune your factory with machine gems. The Table, the Pylon, the Locator and the Scanner all build on that system. The Pylon turns nearby enchanting stats into factory buffs, though its Quanta boost to player gems is only temporary.[1][4]
Apokinetic Shards: the gateway item
The Apokinetic Shard is used by every machine gem and by the Wrench, Table, Locator, Scanner and Kinetic Pylon. It has two recipes in the pack, and the pack changed both, so treat the recipe blocks below as the truth for this pack.[3][4]

Sockets and the Wrench
Use the Apokinetic Wrench on a compatible machine to open its Apokinetic sockets. Otherwise it behaves like a normal Create Wrench, and sneak-using it forces the normal Wrench action. Each active socket holds one bound machine gem, and each machine has its own configured list of gems it accepts.[4]

Machines expose up to four config-controlled sockets. Ordinary modifiers add within configured limits, chance effects diminish under configured ceilings, Ignition uses weighted sockets, and recipe gates use the strongest gem level.[4]
Multi-part machines resolve to one shared set of sockets. Any Belt segment resolves to its chain controller, valid Water Wheel structures redirect to their master, and both Crushing Wheels in a valid pair share one socket inventory. When possible, breaking a socketed machine stores its gems on the dropped machine item and restores them when it is placed again.[4]
The twelve machine gems
- Velocity speeds processing, Equilibrium lowers stress, Precision can preserve inputs, and Yielding adds outputs.[1]
- Impact increases mechanical force, Extension adds reach and range, Ignition improves heat and fuel efficiency, and Frostwork unlocks cold-fan recipes.[1]
- Flowing improves fluid machinery, Conveyance speeds logistics, Momentum unlocks high-speed belt recipes and boosts kinetic sources, and Rupture improves breaking and contact damage.[1]
Conveyance speeds Belts, Chutes, Funnels, Arms, Packagers, Chain Conveyors and Weighted Ejectors. It multiplies Belt and Chute motion, shortens Funnel and packaging cooldowns, and raises the speed of compatible non-Belt machines.[4]
Equilibrium lowers only that one machine's stress impact. A strong enough configured combined bonus can reduce it to zero, but it does not add stress capacity or alter network RPM.[4]
Extension adds blocks of range to Fans, Arms, Ejectors, Pistons, Rope Pulleys and Elevator Pulleys. The adjusted whole range rounds upward, so even a fractional positive range bonus can add one block.[4]
A gem's purity sets its starting strength, and Rotation from the Table can grow it further. Each gem also has its own strength multiplier and combined-effect limits in the server config. In this pack, the gems listed in that config (Conveyance, Equilibrium, Extension, Flowing, Frostwork, Ignition, Impact and Momentum) all sit at the mod defaults: a strength multiplier of 1, a minimum combined effect of 0 and a maximum of 1,000,000. For example, see gems.conveyance.strengthMultiplier and gems.conveyance.maximumCombinedEffect. Setting a multiplier to 0 disables that gem's strength.[1][5]
Precision stacking is controlled by gems.precision.diminishingExponent, which is 1 here, the mod default. That means independent probability per socket. Higher values are stronger and lower values are weaker.[5]
Charging gems on the Apokinetic Table
The Apokinetic Table is powered from below and can charge one bound gem, either ordinary or Apokinetic, when that gem category is enabled in config. Right-click an empty Table with a valid gem to insert exactly one. Otherwise, open its screen to inspect or remove the held gem.[3][4]

Once each second, the Table adds the rounded absolute RPM to the gem as permanent Rotation. At 64 RPM that is 64 Rotation per second, in either direction. Configurable thresholds turn Rotation into levels, and those levels multiply supported numeric bonuses. Frostwork and Momentum use the resulting whole effective recipe level. Higher held-gem levels also increase the Table's own configurable stress impact.[4]
Gem-gated recipes: Frostwork and Momentum
Apokinetics adds two recipe families, Frostwork and Momentum. Both are gated by the effective whole level of a socketed machine gem. Either family may consume one or several loose ingredients and produce several results. Multi-input matches consume one item for every listed ingredient. Check JEI for exact ingredients, outputs, required gem level and Momentum RPM before you build a line.[4]
Frostwork runs on an Encased Fan with a Frostwork gem socketed. The fan must be running beside a cold-source block, with the loose input between the fan and that block. Frostwork checks gem level, but its recipes do not declare a recipe-specific minimum RPM. The recipe's authored duration is config-scaled, and Velocity and Ignition can shorten the real timer.[4]
The pack counts ice, packed ice, blue ice, snow blocks and powder snow as cold sources, and Frostwork is enabled. See frostwork.coldSourceBlocks and frostwork.enabled.[5]
The built-in Frostwork recipes climb in gem level. Level 1 turns a Snowball into a Snow layer, Level 2 turns a Slime Ball into a Snowball, Level 3 turns Ice into Packed Ice, and Level 4 turns a Water Bucket into a Powder Snow Bucket. JEI shows the exact list in the pack.[4]
Momentum is the high-speed Belt family. It checks both gem level and RPM, and it transforms eligible stacks only after they leave the full Belt chain.[4]
- frostwork.processingTicks is 100 here, the mod default. Despite its name, it is a percentage scale for recipe duration: 100 is unchanged and 50 is twice as fast.[5]
- frostwork.ingredientSearchRadius is 1.65 blocks, and frostwork.maxCraftsPerCompletion is 64.[5]
- Frostwork air currents also affect living entities. frostwork.freezeTicksPerTick adds 3 freeze ticks per air-current tick, and slowness lasts 25 ticks at amplifier 0, which is Slowness I. See frostwork.slowDurationTicks and frostwork.slowAmplifier.[5]
Kinetic Pylon: turning enchanting power into factory buffs
The Kinetic Pylon scans its configured radius for nearby Apothic Enchanting energy sources. Positive Eterna, Arcana and Quanta accumulate separately up to 100, and each channel scales its own configured maximum bonus. Right-click it to inspect the radius, linked-source counts, channel energy, and current and maximum bonuses. Of the three channels, only the Quanta effect is described as temporary.[4]
- Eterna reduces the total stress used across a linked Create kinetic network.[4]
- Arcana increases that network's total stress capacity. Reaching any connected member links the whole network.[4]
- Quanta temporarily strengthens bound, non-machine Apotheosis gems used by players in range, including gems socketed in equipment.[4]
Overlapping Pylons never add together. Each channel uses the strongest available Pylon.[4]

Factory Locator and Factory Scanner
The Factory Locator follows one specific stack through your factory. Right-click a Belt, Basin, Depot, Chute, inventory or hovered loose stack to toggle a trace on that exact stack. The colored highlight follows supported movement between belts, processing inventories, containers, loose entities and your own inventory. If the traced stack is temporarily unavailable or in another dimension, the trace becomes dormant instead of silently switching to a different item. Use the Locator on the same traced stack again to stop tracking it, and sneak-use it to choose a highlight color before you start. In this pack, highlights are visible up to 32 blocks away, per factoryLocator.highlightRange.[4][5]

The Factory Scanner diagnoses kinetic networks. Use it in air or on a block to inspect loaded Create kinetics within its configured radius. Each connected network reports a stable, idle or overstressed status, machine counts, average RPM, and total stress use and capacity, including Pylon changes. Individual entries expose actual and theoretical RPM, source state, process diagnosis, stress, inventory, fluid, heat and redstone data when available. Contiguous Belts and Chain Conveyors appear as one selectable machine entry. You can search and rename entries locally, highlight every block in a grouped entry for 15 seconds, or Refresh while still holding the Scanner.[3][4]

Recipe id: apokinetics:factory_scanner
The pack's recipe uses the Factory Locator as an ingredient.
- factoryScanner.scanRadius is 128 blocks.[5]
- factoryScanner.maxScannedBlocks caps one scan at 65,000 loaded block entities.[5]
- factoryScanner.refreshCooldownTicks is 10 ticks between uses or refresh requests.[5]
All three Scanner values match the mod defaults.[5]
How do you progress through Create: Apokinetics?
4 parts
The sources here show no named tiers for this mod, so the path below is just the order the in-pack recipes imply. Everything hangs off one item, the shard, and the rest of the line builds on it.[3]
Start with the Apokinetic Shard
Everything begins with the Apokinetic Shard. Every other Apokinetics recipe in this pack uses it, so make it first. The pack changed the shard's recipe, and it exists both as a normal shaped crafting recipe and as a recipe of the mod's own momentum type.[3]

The Apokinetic Table
Next comes the Apokinetic Table. It is the one item in this list still marked as a mod recipe, so the pack did not touch it. It also pulls in Create parts, so you need your Create setup going before you can make it.[3]

Tools: wrench and locator
The pack changed the recipes for both the Apokinetic Wrench and the Factory Locator. Both are built on the shard, so you can make them as soon as you have one. The wrench is built on top of Create's own wrench.[3]

Scanner and pylon
The last items in the line are the Factory Scanner and the Kinetic Pylon, and the pack changed both recipes. The scanner takes a finished Factory Locator as an ingredient, so you cannot skip the locator. Both the scanner and the pylon also need more advanced Create parts, so expect to have that production running first.[3]

How does Create: Apokinetics work with other mods?
4 parts
Apokinetics is a bridge between Create and Apotheosis, and the pack's recipes make that very clear. Apokinetic Shards, the Apokinetic Table, the Kinetic Pylon and every Machine Gem recipe all need Gem Dust from Apotheosis, so you'll want an Apotheosis gem setup running alongside your factory.[1][3]
Apotheosis
The twelve Machine Gems are made by recipes that output Apotheosis gems, and each one needs an Apokinetic Shard plus Gem Dust. The shard itself is also made from Gem Dust, an amethyst shard and an obsidian dust.[1][3]

The Kinetic Pylon also reaches into Apotheosis: it converts nearby Apothic Enchanting stats (Quanta, Eterna and Arcana) into factory buffs. Eterna reduces network stress use, Arcana increases generated stress capacity, and Quanta temporarily boosts nearby player gem stats. The pack changed its recipe.[1][3]

The mod's config also has a Rotation option that lets you choose whether Apokinetics gems and regular Apotheosis gems use Rotation. You'll find it under the Rotation and Table settings.[1]
Create
The Apokinetic Wrench is built from Create's Wrench. This is the tool that opens sockets on supported Create machines, and the pack changed its recipe.[1][3]

The factory diagnostic tools are also tied into Create's parts. The Factory Locator traces moving items, and the Factory Scanner groups nearby kinetic networks and shows RPM, stress and likely problems. The scanner needs a Factory Locator as an ingredient, and the pack changed both recipes.[1][3]

Gem recipes that use Create parts
Only some of the gem recipes ask for Create components: Conveyance, Extension, Impact and Velocity. Conveyance uses Andesite Alloy, while Extension, Impact and Velocity use Precision Mechanism. Velocity also uses an Electron Tube. The other gem recipes use no Create items.[3]
The pack changed the recipes for the Ignition, Impact, Momentum, Precision, Velocity and Yielding gems. Conveyance, Equilibrium, Extension, Flowing, Frostwork and Rupture use the mod's own recipes.[3]

Jade and JEI
Apokinetics has its own Jade and JEI content, and you can enable or disable each separately in the config.[1]
Unverified No quests in this pack were found that involve Apokinetics items, so there is no quest-based integration to cover here.
Which Create: Apokinetics config options matter?
6 parts
Everything here lives in config/apokinetics-server.toml. The file in this pack lists a mod default next to most numeric options, and every one of those matches the pack's value. These are the options you're most likely to care about.[5]
Sockets
- socketSystem.enabled is true, so machine sockets are on. socketSystem.defaultSocketCount is 4 and socketSystem.globalSocketCap is 4, which is the highest the cap can go.[5]
- socketSystem.dropSocketedGemsOnBreak is true. Socketed gems drop when you break a machine, but only if the broken machine has no dropped machine item that can keep them.[5]
- The per-machine lists are all empty: socketSystem.disabledMachines, socketSystem.machineSocketCounts, socketSystem.machineAllowedGems and socketSystem.machineEffectiveness. No machine is blocked or given special treatment.[5]
- socketSystem.velocityAddsStress is false, so Velocity does not raise a machine's stress impact.[5]
Bonus outputs and Precision
antiDuplication.allowBonusOutputs is false in this pack. It is the master switch for Precision preservation and Yielding bonus-output hooks, so check it first if those gems seem to do nothing. antiDuplication.yieldingStackableOutputsOnly is true, which means Yielding never copies non-stackable recipe outputs.[5]
Precision's combined chance is capped by gems.precision.maximumCombinedEffect, which is 0.9 here, so you can't reach a guaranteed 100% even with stacked gems.[5]
Rotation and the Apokinetic Table
- rotation.bonusPerLevel is 0.01, so each Rotation level adds +1% to a gem's numeric stats. Both rotation.affectApokineticsGems and rotation.affectApotheosisGems are true, so Apokinetics gems and other Apotheosis gems can both gain Rotation.[5]
- rotation.levelThresholds runs from Level 1 at 1,116 Rotation to Level 100 at 54,180, rising by 536 per level.[5]
- The Table charges every 20 ticks (rotation.tableChargeIntervalTicks). Its stress is capped at 150,000 units by rotation.tableMaxStressUnits, and its base impact is 16 (rotation.tableStressImpact).[5]
Kinetic Pylon
The Pylon covers a radius of 24 blocks (kineticPylon.radius) and rescans every 80 ticks (kineticPylon.scanIntervalTicks). Each of its buffs maxes out at 60%: kineticPylon.buffs.eternaStressReductionPercent, kineticPylon.buffs.arcanaCapacityPercent and kineticPylon.buffs.quantaGemPercent. Those maximums are reached at 100 energy of the matching stat.[5]
Frostwork and Momentum
Both recipe systems are on: frostwork.enabled and momentum.enabled are true. Momentum processing needs a belt speed of at least 32 (momentum.minimumBeltSpeed). Frostwork counts ice, packed ice, blue ice, snow blocks and powder snow as cold sources (frostwork.coldSourceBlocks).[5]
Gem strength
Every gem is enabled, and every gem's strength multiplier is 1, which leaves its purity values unchanged. Velocity is a good example: gems.velocity.strengthMultiplier is 1.[5]
The combined-effect limits are wide open for most gems. For Velocity, gems.velocity.minimumCombinedEffect is 0 and gems.velocity.maximumCombinedEffect is 1,000,000. Precision is the exception, with its own lower cap in gems.precision.maximumCombinedEffect, covered above.[5]
What changed in Create: Apokinetics between versions?
4 parts
All the Mons 1.3.0 ships Create: Apokinetics 1.0.6. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mons 1.2.0 or earlier, so 1.0.6 is the version you are playing with. This is what that release changed.[2]
Wrench changes
- The Apokinetic Wrench now works as a regular Create Wrench.[6]
- Shift-Right-Click uses the normal Create Wrench actions on socketable machines.[6]
- A NeoForge startup crash caused by a duplicate Apokinetic Wrench renderer registration is fixed.[6]
Gems, Rotation and Gem Cases
Gem handling got a lot of attention in this release. Maxed gems with identical stats no longer fail to stack, and Apokinetic Tables no longer keep updating gems after they reach maximum Rotation.[6]
- Apotheosis Gem Cases now preserve Rotation on 1.21.1.[6]
- Gem Cases extract the highest-Rotation gems first, then the lower-Rotation gems.[6]
- Gem Cases no longer combine different Rotation values into one extracted stack.[6]
Gem effect and balance changes
- Rupture now increases Crushing Wheel processing speed as it should.[6]
- Yielding was rebalanced to stack as additive expected bonus copies, and its minimum and maximum expected bonus copies are now configurable.[6]
- Frostwork no longer loses priority to overlapping cold fan processing modes, and non-Frostwork fan processing is no longer blocked when no usable Frostwork gem is installed.[6]
- Precision and Yielding resource loops in Mechanical Crafters are prevented.[6]
Crash and drop fixes
- Loot tables were added for the Apokinetic Table and Kinetic Pylon, and the Apokinetic Table now drops when mined with a pickaxe.[6]
- Enchanted Apotheosis arrows no longer crash the game. The changelog says this was fixed again.[6]
- Mob Effect gems such as Evasion and Blighted no longer crash servers.[6]
- Leech Block no longer uses an incompatible Apotheosis cooldown method.[6]
- Factory Scanner crashes caused by broken machine speed checks are fixed.[6]
- Optional mixins were hardened against fatal injection failures.[6]
The Wrench, Yielding, Rupture, Frostwork and Ponder descriptions were also updated, so the in-game text matches the new behavior.[6]
Unverified Changelogs for earlier Apokinetics versions, and any pack changelog entries about this mod, were not available, so earlier history is not covered here.
