Which MythicBotany config options matter?
5 parts
Same as in the Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 guide
Most of the options you will care about are in the main MythicBotany config, with a couple of display options in the client config. Here is exactly how this pack sets them.[1][2]
Alfheim and progression
- enableAlfheim is true, so the Alfheim dimension is enabled. If it were false, the mead of kvasir would still work but the portal to Alfheim would not.[1]
- lockAlfheim is true, so players who reach Alfheim through another mod without having drunk the mead of kvasir get a blindness effect.[1]
- replaceGaiaRecipe is true, so the Gaia Pylon uses a recipe that requires Alfsteel.[1]
- addExtraRingSlot is true, so you get an extra ring slot in curios.[1]
Mjoellnir
Mjoellnir is the item with the most settings. To hold it, mjoellnir.requirement is set to "effect", which means you need the absorption effect. If you hold the ring of thor, mjoellnir.requirement_thor is "nothing", and either that or the normal requirement being met is enough.[1]
- mjoellnir.base_damage_melee is 25 for melee attacks.[1]
- mjoellnir.base_damage_ranged is 25 for the main target of a ranged attack.[1]
- mjoellnir.ranged_cooldown is 120 ticks before you can throw it again.[1]
- mjoellnir.secondary_target_multiplier is 0.4, so secondary targets on ranged attacks take that fraction of the main target's damage.[1]
- mjoellnir.secondary_lightning_chance is 0.25, the chance for secondary targets to get lightning effects too.[1]
- mjoellnir.enchantment_multiplier is 5 for sharpness and power enchantments.[1]
- mjoellnir.base_attack_speed is -3.5.[1]
- mjoellnir.attack_speed_multiplier is 0.2, the attack speed increase per level of hammer mobility.[1]
Alfsteel tools and armor
- alftools.tool_values.sword_damage is 12, the attack damage of the alf blade.[1]
- alftools.tool_values.sword_speed is 2.4, the attack speed modifier of the alf blade.[1]
- alftools.durability.pickaxe.max_durability is 4,600, and alftools.durability.pickaxe.mana_per_durability is 200. The sword and axe have their own durability options in the same file, set to the same values as the pickaxe.[1]
- alftools.durability.armor.max_durability is 5,200 for the armor.[1]
- alftools.durability.armor.mana_per_durability is 100 for the armor.[1]
- alftools.armor_values.chestplate.defense is 8 on the chestplate.[1]
- alftools.armor_values.leggings.defense is 6 on the leggings.[1]
- alftools.armor_values.helmet.defense is 3 on the helmet.[1]
- alftools.armor_values.boots.defense is 3 on the boots.[1]
- alftools.reach_modifier is 2, the reach bonus on the alfsteel helmet.[1]
- alftools.knockback_resistance_modifier is 1, the knockback resistance on the alfsteel chestplate.[1]
- alftools.speed_modifier is 0.05, the speed bonus on the alfsteel leggings.[1]
- alftools.jump_modifier is 0.025, the jump boost on the alfsteel boots.[1]
Flowers
The wither aconite makes mana from nether stars, and flowers.witherAconiteMana is set to 1,200,000 mana per nether star.[1][3]
The raindeletia makes mana when it rains, and it makes more on vivid grass or enchanted soil. These are the pack's modifiers for it:[1][3]
- flowers.raindeletia.base is 5, and it is always applied.[1]
- flowers.raindeletia.rain is 0.09 for normal rain, not for thunder.[1]
- flowers.raindeletia.thunder is 3 for thundering.[1]
- flowers.raindeletia.vivid_grass is 2.[1]
- flowers.raindeletia.enchanted_soil is 5.[1]
- flowers.raindeletia.dry_grass is 0.5.[1]
Client options
Both client display options are left at true. hud_backgrounds keeps the background on Botania HUDs, and ring_particles keeps the particles from the mythicbotany rings on your own player. Set either to false if you want it gone. You will still see ring particles from other players.[2]
