How do you get started with Just Another Grass Seed?
3 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2: Aero 1.10.0 guide
Just Another Grass Seed adds Grass Seed and a set of Fake Grass Blocks. In this pack, both are reached through recipes the pack added, so here is the order I'd go in.[1][2]
Get Grass Seed by sifting
Grass Seed is one of the possible results of a sifting recipe added by the pack. It shares that result list with a lot of farming items, so it is only one of many things the recipe can give you.[1]

Make a Fake Grass Block
Fake Grass Block has two recipes in this pack, and both were added by the pack. The first is a shapeless crafting recipe.[1]

The second is a different shapeless recipe, also added by the pack, so you can pick whichever fits what you have on hand.[1]

Switch biome variants in the stonecutter
Once you have a plain Fake Grass Block, the pack lets you convert it in a stonecutter into biome variants, for example Fake Grass Block (Plains), Fake Grass Block (Swamp) or Fake Grass Block (Snow). Other variants include Badlands, Birch, Cheery, Dark Forest, Desert, Jungle, Mangrove, Meadow, Mushroom, Ocean, Pale Garden and Sparse Jungle.[1][2]

Every variant follows the same pattern: the plain block goes in and the variant comes out.
It works in reverse too. Every variant can be cut back into the plain Fake Grass Block, so you can change your mind later.[1]

The same back-conversion exists for every other variant.
