What is Laser Bridges & Doors?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.38 guide
Laser Bridges & Doors is a small, decorative redstone mod that gives you futuristic laser bridges, doors and fences. You place a laser source block, give it a redstone signal, and it projects a laser structure outward. This pack ships version 1.21.1-1-neoforge of the mod.[1][2]
How it works
- The laser only forms while the source block is powered by redstone, so a lever, button or pressure plate is enough to open and close a laser door or bridge.[1]
- The length of the laser depends on the redstone signal strength and updates as the signal changes. A weaker signal gives you a shorter bridge.[1]
- You can recolor a laser source by clicking it with a dye in hand, or have a dispenser apply the dye for you.[1]
- There are full block laser sources for more complex redstone contraptions, plus a Laser Fence Source Block variant for laser fences.[1]
The mod is configurable. One option sets the maximum laser length at full power, and all partial lengths are calculated from it. The mod's own default is 15 blocks. Another option lists the blocks that lasers are allowed to cut through and replace.[1]
Unverified The sources don't confirm whether this pack keeps the mod's default maximum laser length or changes it. Test it in game before you plan a long bridge.
Who it's for
If you like building bases with a sci-fi look, secret entrances or redstone-controlled walkways, this mod is for you. Its job is style and redstone fun rather than tech or resource progression.[1]
Unverified The sources don't document a place for this mod in the pack's progression, and no in-pack recipe for the laser source blocks could be confirmed. Check the recipe viewer in game. This site does hold All the Mods 11's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you get started with Laser Bridges & Doors?
3 parts
Laser Bridges & Doors adds laser sources that create laser bridges, doors and fences when a redstone signal powers them. Getting started is simple: craft a source, power it, then play with the extras.[1]
Craft a Laser Source
Everything starts with the Laser Source. The pack changed the mod's own recipe for it and also added a KubeJS recipe, so you have a choice of recipes. Both are shown below exactly as the pack has them.[3]
Crafting Shaped

| Iron Ingot | End Crystal | Iron Ingot |
| Iron Ingot | Iron Ingot | Iron Ingot |

This is the mod's own recipe, changed by the pack.

This is an extra recipe added by the pack through KubeJS.
Switch between bridge and fence sources
The Laser Fence Source is the fence version of the source. The mod lets you convert between the types in both directions, and the pack changed both conversion recipes too.[1][3]

How does Laser Bridges & Doors work?
4 parts
The mod is simple to run. A Laser Source does nothing until a redstone signal activates it. Once powered, it forms a laser bridge, door or fence.[1]
Power and length
The length of the laser depends on the strength of the redstone signal feeding the source, and it updates dynamically. If the signal changes, the laser length changes with it.[1]
A fully powered source makes the longest laser possible, and every partial length is calculated from that maximum. The mod's own default for that maximum is 15 blocks.[1]
Unverified The mod's page says its settings live in config/laserbridges.json, with a maximum laser length (max_length) and a list of blocks that lasers can replace (blocks_cut_through_by_lasers). The sources here show no config file for this mod in the pack, so the pack's values for these settings are unverified.
Coloring and contraptions
- Click a laser source with a dye to color it. A dispenser can also apply the dye for you.[1]
- Full block laser sources are meant for building more complicated redstone contraptions.[1]
Switching between source types
You can turn a Laser Source into a Laser Fence Source in the crafting grid, and the conversion also works in reverse. The pack changed both conversion recipes, so use the in-pack recipes below.[1][3]

Crafting the Laser Source
The pack changed the mod's own Laser Source recipe and also added a separate KubeJS recipe for the same item. Check both recipes below rather than relying on the mod's default recipe.[3]

How do you progress through Laser Bridges & Doors?
2 parts
Laser Bridges & Doors doesn't have a tier ladder in this pack. The recipe data only shows Laser Source and Laser Fence Source, so progression here is about how you get the Laser Source and how you swap between it and the fence version.[3]
Getting a Laser Source
The pack changed the mod's own shaped recipe for the Laser Source. It also added a shaped recipe through KubeJS that makes the same block. Both are shown below, so you can use whichever fits your materials.[3]
Crafting Shaped
| Iron Ingot | Glass | Iron Ingot |
| Iron Ingot | End Crystal | Iron Ingot |
| Iron Ingot | Iron Ingot | Iron Ingot |

Switching between bridge and fence
You don't need a separate crafting chain for the fence version. The pack has shapeless recipes that convert one block into the other, and both are changed from the mod's defaults.[3]

What changed in Laser Bridges & Doors between versions?
1 part
All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta ships with Laser Bridges & Doors 6, using the file laserbridges-26.1.2-neoforge-6.jar. The mod was first included in All the Mods 11 0.0.12 or earlier.[4]
Mod changelog highlights
- Version 6 (the version in this pack): added full block laser sources.[4][5]
- Version 5.4: fixed a NeoForge crash.[6]
The mod's own changelogs are short, so these are the only notable changes the sources here confirm.[5][6]
Unverified Pack changelog entries for this mod are not shown in the sources here, so what changed for Laser Bridges & Doors between individual pack releases is unverified. Check the All the Mods 11 release notes for that.
