What is More Red?
More Red is included in this pack at version 6.0.0.3, built for Minecraft 1.21.1 (the jar is morered-1.21.1-6.0.0.3.jar). It has been part of the pack since version 0.32 or earlier, so it's a long-standing member of the mod list.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what More Red adds, who it suits, or its recipes, configs and mechanics in this pack. I'm not guessing at those. The pack's mod list is the only confirmed information so far.
Unverified I found no quests in this pack that involve More Red, and the mod doesn't appear on the ATM Star path. No platform page or in-jar guidebook was available to confirm either point or to say where the mod fits in progression.
How do you get started with More Red?
6 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
More Red adds wires, logic gates and cables on top of vanilla redstone. The order below is the one I'd follow: get the alloy, then wire, then the Soldering Table, then your first gates, then longer-range cabling. It follows what the in-pack recipes show.[2]
Step one: Red Alloy Ingot
Start with Red Alloy Ingot. The wire and the posts below are made from it. The recipe dump marks this recipe as changed by the pack, so use the recipe below rather than the mod's default.[2]

- any red alloyable ingot

This is the pack's own version of the recipe.
Step two: Red Alloy Wire
Next, turn the alloy into Red Alloy Wire. The wire is what the Redwire Spool and the network cables are made around, so it's worth making a good number of them.[2]

Then: the Soldering Table
The Soldering Table has a normal crafting recipe, so you can make it right away. Many gates have a second recipe that is made at the Soldering Table. The bitwise gates and the Hexidecrubrometer only have soldering recipes in the pack.[2]

Then: your first gates
Start with the simple logic pieces: the Diode, NOT Gate, OR Gate and AND Gate. The Diode and the AND Gate are shown below, once for the crafting table and once for the Soldering Table.[2]

Then: posts and spools
When you want to move signals around your base, look at the Redwire Post and the Redwire Spool. The post can be crafted or soldered.[2]

Step six: network cables
Network cables each have their own recipe per dye colour, such as Red Network Cable.[2]
Crafting Shaped
8 × any red alloy wire
Recipe id: morered:red_network_cable
The other colours follow the same pattern with their own dye.
Network cables can then be made into a Bundled Network Cable. Bundled cables are needed for the Bundled Cable Post, Bundled Cable Spool and Bundled Cable Relay Plate, and for the bitwise gates. Treat all of this as the later stage of your setup.[2]

How does More Red work?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
More Red is a redstone wiring mod, and the sources for this pack only cover its crafting recipes. So this section shows how the parts chain together and where the pack changes things.[2]
Red alloy: the base material
Everything starts with Red Alloy Ingot. The recipe dump marks this recipe as changed by the pack, so follow the recipe below and not older guides or the mod's own defaults.[2]
Crafting Shapeless

Recipe id: morered:red_alloy_ingot
The pack changed this recipe from the mod's version.
You then turn the ingot into Red Alloy Wire, which the network cables need.[2]
Crafting Shaped

Recipe id: morered:red_alloy_wire
Red alloy wire is crafted from red alloy ingots.
Network cables
Network cables come in many colors, such as Red Network Cable, Blue Network Cable and Lime Network Cable. Each color has its own recipe, so the red and blue ones below show how they are laid out.[2]
Crafting Shaped
8 × any red alloy wire
Recipe id: morered:red_network_cable
Other colors swap in their own dye.
Crafting Shaped

Recipe id: morered:blue_network_cable
The blue cable has its own recipe, shown here as a second example.
Bundled cables and their hardware
Bundled Network Cable is made from ordinary network cables. The recipe accepts any network cable, so you are not locked into one color.[2]

Logic gates
AND Gate, Two Input AND Gate, NAND Gate, Two Input NAND Gate, NOR Gate, NOT Gate, OR Gate, Diode and Latch each have their own crafting recipe. The recipe blocks below show examples of the exact layout.[2]
Multiplexer and Pulse Gate are crafted separately from those gates, and the multiplexer recipe below is an example.[2]

Unverified How each gate behaves, how signals travel through network and bundled cables, and how the cable post, relay plate and spool are placed are not shown in the sources here. The pack has no config files for this mod, and no in-jar guidebook or lang-file tooltips were found. Test these parts in a creative world before building around them.
How do you progress through More Red?
5 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
More Red has no quest line in this pack, so nothing tells you what to build next. This section lays out a sensible order based on the in-pack recipes instead, starting with the basic materials and finishing with the bundled-cable and bitwise parts.[2]
Unverified Quests: the sources here do not show any pack quest that involves More Red, so no quest-guided path is given.
Red alloy and the soldering table
Everything starts with the Red Alloy Ingot. The pack changes this recipe from the mod's own, and it is shapeless, so the layout in the grid doesn't matter. The sources don't show what the original recipe looked like, so treat the one below as the pack's version.[2]
Crafting Shapeless
- any red alloyable ingot
- any redstone dust
- any redstone dust

Your ingots can then be turned into Red Alloy Wire, which is an ingredient in the network cables later on.[2]

Next, build the Soldering Table. Many of the later parts have a second recipe made on it, and some of the advanced parts only show a soldering recipe. You will also want the Stone Plate, which can be crafted or made at a stonecutter.[2]

Logic gates
Once you have a soldering table, the basic logic parts are your next step: Diode, Latch, NOT Gate, AND Gate, OR Gate, NAND Gate, NOR Gate, XOR Gate and XNOR Gate. The two-input versions, Two Input AND Gate and Two Input NAND Gate, belong here too. Each of them has both a crafting recipe and a soldering recipe in the pack, and the examples below show the pattern.[2]

The Multiplexer and Pulse Gate sit slightly above these. They also have both crafting and soldering recipes.[2]
Posts and spools
For wiring, move on to the Redwire Post, Redwire Post Plate, Redwire Post Relay Plate and Redwire Spool. The post, post plate and relay plate each have both a crafting and a soldering recipe, while the dump shows the spool only with a crafting recipe. The post and spool recipes are shown below.[2]

Network cables and bundled cables
Network cables come in one version per dye colour, such as Red Network Cable and Blue Network Cable. Here is one of the colour versions as an example. Network cables are what you turn into a Bundled Network Cable.[2]

Bitwise gates and the Hexidecrubrometer
The last stage is the bitwise set: Bitwise Diode, Bitwise NOT Gate, Bitwise AND Gate, Bitwise OR Gate, Bitwise XOR Gate and Bitwise XNOR Gate. The dump shows these only as soldering table items, so you will need the soldering table for this stage.[2]
Soldering (morered)
- any redstone dust
- any quartz gem
- 2× any smooth stone quarter slab
- any bundled network cable

Which More Red config options matter?
2 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide
More Red has only a small set of options worth knowing about, and in this pack the ones that show a mod default are left at it. The pack has not changed those values, so you get the standard More Red behavior.[3][4]
Client options
- Rendering.showPlacementPreview is set to true. This renders a preview of plate blocks before you place them.[3]
- Rendering.previewPlacementOpacity is set to 0.4, which matches the mod default. The allowed range is 0.0 to 1.0. A higher value makes the preview less transparent and a lower value makes it more transparent.[3]
Server options
- [[config:config/morered-server.toml#General Settings.max_wire_plinth_connection_range]] is set to 32, the same as the mod default. This is the maximum plinth connection range.[4]
