What is Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
2 parts
Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals is an addon for Applied Energistics 2 that adds wireless versions of several AE2 terminals, so you can reach your ME system without standing next to it. You get a Wireless Crafting Terminal, a Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal and a Wireless Pattern Access Terminal. Most wireless terminals from other addons plug into it too.[1][2]
All the Mods 10 8.1 ships version 19.5.1 of the mod. It has been in the pack since All the Mods 10 2.25 or earlier.[3]
What it brings to the table
- The Wireless Universal Terminal combines all of the mod's wireless terminals into one item. A button in the UI cycles between the installed terminals, and their energy storage adds up.[1][4]
- The Quantum Bridge Card links your terminal to a Quantum Bridge on your network. Your terminal then works from anywhere, even across dimensions, and recharges from your network. The chunks holding your network still need to be loaded.[5]
- The Wireless Crafting Terminal can automatically restock the stack you're using from your ME system. Pick Block will also pull items from the network when you don't have them in your inventory.[6][7]
- A Magnet Card upgrade lets the terminal pick up items from a larger range and send them straight into your ME system, with separate filters for each.[7][8]
This mod is for anyone running an AE2 base who wants their storage, crafting and patterns available on the go instead of being tied to a terminal on the wall.[1][2]
Where it fits in the pack
In the Applied Energistics 2 quest chapter, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for the Quantum Bridge Card. It unlocks after the Quantum Network Bridge and Wireless Terminals quests, and the quest presents it as another way to get wireless, interdimensional access to your AE2 system.[9]
The mod is also part of the ATM Star path. In the ATM Star chapter, the "Universal Wireless Terminal" quest quest comes after the Applied Energistics quest and asks for a Wireless Universal Terminal. To make it, you craft any wireless terminals and then craft them together.[10]
How do you get started with Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
5 parts
This addon gives Applied Energistics 2 wireless versions of several of its terminals. It also adds a Quantum Bridge Card that lets a terminal work from anywhere, even across dimensions, and a universal terminal that holds all your wireless terminals in one item. Here's a sensible order to work through it.[1]
Step 1: A Wireless Crafting Terminal
Your first wireless terminal is almost certainly the Wireless Crafting Terminal. With this addon installed it can restock from your ME network. Pick Block also becomes smarter: if the block isn't in your inventory, it pulls it from the network, and if your current slot is full it tries to store items.[7]
Restock is the feature you'll love most. Turn it on in the GUI or with a keybind, and the stack you're using stays at its max stack size, which is 64 for most items. Missing items come from your ME system, and excess items you pick up go back into it. Restock won't top up a stack that held only a single item before you used it.[6]
Step 2: Pattern terminals, once you start autocrafting
When you start making patterns, the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal and the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal let you encode and manage patterns without walking back to your base. The encoding terminal has two recipes in this pack: a regular craft and an upgrade recipe.[2][11]

Step 3: Merge them into a Universal Terminal
Once you have more than one wireless terminal, combine them into a Wireless Universal Terminal. The pack's "Universal Wireless Terminal" quest quest says the recipe looks confusing but is easy: craft any wireless terminals, then craft them together. It also says the result keeps whatever you had on your terminals.[10]
Inside the universal terminal, a button in the UI cycles between your installed terminals: left-click for the next one, right-click for the previous one. Each installed terminal adds 2 upgrade slots, and the terminals' energy storage adds up.[4]
Step 4: The Magnet Card
The Magnet Card is an upgrade for the Wireless Crafting Terminal. It picks up items in a larger range, which is configurable and 16 by default. It can also send picked-up items straight into your ME system instead of your inventory. You can toggle and filter both functions separately, and each filter can run in whitelist or blacklist mode.[8][12]

Step 5: The Quantum Bridge Card
The Quantum Bridge Card removes the range limit. Put the card and one Quantum Entangled Singularity in your wireless terminal, and put the other singularity in a Quantum Bridge connected to your network. Your terminal can then reach the network from anywhere, even across dimensions, and it recharges from your network's energy.[5][9]
In this pack, the Applied Energistics 2 quest chapter has a quest for this card, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2". It unlocks after the Quantum Network Bridge and Wireless Terminals quests.[9]

How does Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals work?
6 parts
Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals is an addon for Applied Energistics 2 that adds wireless versions of several ME terminals. It also adds a Wireless Universal Terminal that holds all of them in one item. Most of what makes the mod special comes from a few upgrade cards and some quality-of-life features built into the terminals, so let's go through them one by one.[1][2]
How the wireless terminals work
Every one of these terminals works like AE2's own wireless terminal. You can open it with a keybind, and if a mod implementing the Curios API is installed, you can put it in a curio slot. You link it to your network the same way you link a normal AE2 wireless terminal.[2]
The lineup includes a wireless Crafting Terminal, the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal and the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal. They all support the Quantum Bridge Card, and they can all be combined into the Wireless Universal Terminal.[1][2][5]

Wireless Crafting Terminal extras
The Wireless Crafting Terminal gets extra functionality from this mod. It can restock items from your ME network automatically, and Pick Block can pull items from the network. With a Magnet Card installed, it also works as a magnet.[7]
Pick Block gets a nice boost. If the block you pick isn't in your inventory, the terminal pulls it from the network instead. If your current slot happens to be full, it tries to store those items back into the network.[7]
- The Quantum Bridge Card gives the terminal unlimited range, even across dimensions, and charges it automatically from the ME network.[7]
- The Magnet Card adds magnet functionality.[7]
Restocking
With Restock turned on, your terminal refills the stack you're using from your ME system and keeps it at max stack size, which is 64 for most items. If you pick up more than that, the extra goes back into the network. So if you place a few blocks and break them again, they won't spill into another slot, even without an active magnet. You can toggle Restock in the GUI or with a keybind.[6]
- It will not restock a stack that held a single item before you used it.[6]
- The item count in your hotbar changes to show how many of that item are in the network, plus the ones actually in your hotbar.[6]
- It only works while you're in range of an access point, or if your terminal is quantum linked.[6]
- In creative mode it's disabled automatically, since you aren't using up items anyway.[6]
- It works for most actions, like placing blocks, eating food and shooting a bow. Some actions, especially ones from other mods, might not be recognized, and those items won't be restocked.[6]
Magnet Card
The Magnet Card is an upgrade card for the Wireless Crafting Terminal, and it does two jobs. First, it picks up items from a larger range. Second, it sends the picked-up items into your ME system instead of your inventory. You can toggle each job separately, so you can run with the magnet off and still have items you pick up go to ME.[8][12]
Each job also has its own filter: a pickup filter and an insert filter. Either filter can be set to blacklist or whitelist mode. You control all of this in the terminal GUI, and there's also a keybind to turn the magnet on or off.[8]
The pickup range is configurable, and the mod's default is 16. No config files for this mod were available from the pack, so the range used in All the Mods 10 hasn't been confirmed.[8]

Quantum Bridge Card
The Quantum Bridge Card links your wireless terminal to an AE2 Quantum Bridge. That gives you unlimited range, even across dimensions, and your terminal recharges automatically with energy from your network.[5][12]
- Put a Quantum Bridge Card and one singularity into your wireless terminal.[5]
- Put the other singularity into a Quantum Bridge connected to your network.[5]
- Your terminal is now Quantum Linked and can reach your network from anywhere.[5]

Wireless Universal Terminal
The Wireless Universal Terminal combines several wireless terminals into one item, and every wireless terminal from this mod can go into it. Its UI has an extra button that switches between them: left-click it to cycle to the next terminal, or right-click to go back to the previous one.[4]
The Universal Terminal accepts the same upgrades as the terminals inside it, and each installed terminal adds 2 upgrade slots. Their energy storage adds up too, so a Universal Terminal with two terminals has twice the energy storage of a single wireless terminal.[4]
Unverified The in-game guide says that one of AE2's own wireless terminals can't be combined into the Universal Terminal, and that most wireless terminals from other addons do work with it. The exact items weren't captured in the sources, so check in-game which terminals your Universal Terminal accepts.
How do you progress through Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
3 parts
In All the Mods 10, this mod's progression has three steps. First you get your wireless terminals. Then you add upgrade cards like the Quantum Bridge Card and Magnet Card. Finally you merge everything into one Wireless Universal Terminal. The pack's quests follow the same path, so you always know what to aim for next.[2][9][10]
Tier 1: Your first wireless terminals
The mod gives you wireless versions of AE2's pattern terminals. The Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal is a wireless version of the pattern encoding terminal, and the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal is a wireless version of the pattern access terminal. Alongside the Wireless Crafting Terminal, these are the building blocks for everything that comes later.[2]
The Wireless Crafting Terminal also gets extra features from this mod. It can restock your hotbar from the ME network, and Pick Block pulls items from the network if they aren't in your inventory.[7]

Tier 2: Upgrade cards
The Quantum Bridge Card is the big one. In the Applied Energistics 2 quest chapter it has its own quest, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", which unlocks after the Quantum Network Bridge and Wireless Terminals quests. It gives you wireless access to your ME system from anywhere, even across dimensions.[9]
- Connect a Quantum Bridge to the ME network at your base.[5][9]
- Put a Quantum Bridge Card and one Quantum Entangled Singularity into your wireless terminal.[5][9]
- Put the matching singularity into the Quantum Bridge. Your terminal is now quantum linked and also recharges automatically from your network's energy.[5][9]

The Magnet Card turns your terminal into a magnet. It picks up items from a larger range and can send them straight into your ME system instead of your inventory. You can toggle each of those behaviours separately in the GUI or with a keybind. Each one also has its own filter that works as a blacklist or whitelist. The pack changed this card's recipe, so check the in-pack version below rather than an older guide.[8][11]

Tier 3: The Wireless Universal Terminal
The last step is "Universal Wireless Terminal" quest, a quest in the Chapter 3: The ATM Star questline that unlocks after the Applied Energistics quest. The quest itself says the recipe looks confusing but is easy: craft any wireless terminals, then craft them together into the Universal Wireless Terminal.[10]
- All of this mod's wireless terminals can be combined into one item, and a button in the UI cycles between them.[4]
- Combining keeps whatever you had on your terminals, such as Extended Patterns.[10]
- The universal terminal accepts the same upgrades as the terminals inside it, and each installed terminal adds 2 upgrade slots.[4]
- Energy storage stacks up: with two terminals combined, you get twice the energy storage of a single wireless terminal.[4]
How does Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals work with other mods?
4 parts
This mod is built around Applied Energistics 2 terminals, so most of its recipes use AE2 parts. In this pack it also hooks into several other AE2 addons: their wireless terminals can be merged with this mod's terminals, and the pack adds its own recipe that takes this mod's Magnet Card further.[11]
Upgrading your AE2 terminals
The two pattern terminals start from regular AE2 gear. You make the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal from the wired ME Pattern Access Terminal, and the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal from the wired ME Pattern Encoding Terminal. The encoding terminal has a second recipe that upgrades an AE2 Wireless Crafting Terminal you already own instead.[11]

The Universal Terminal and addon terminals
The Wireless Universal Terminal is one of the steps toward the ATM Star, in the quest "Universal Wireless Terminal" quest. The idea is simple: craft wireless terminals, then combine them into one Universal Terminal. The quest also points out that the terminal keeps whatever you had set up on it.[10]

Most wireless terminals from other addons work with the Universal Terminal too. In this pack, these addon terminals have combine recipes with this mod's pattern terminals:[2][11]
- Wireless Quantum Crafter Terminal combines with the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal and the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal.[11]
- Wireless Expanded Pattern Encoding Terminal combines with both pattern terminals.[11]
- Wireless Extended Pattern Access Terminal combines with both pattern terminals.[11]
- Wireless Requester Terminal combines with both pattern terminals.[11]
Magnet Card
The Magnet Card is an upgrade card that gives your wireless terminal a magnet. It can pick up items from a larger range and send them straight into your ME system instead of your inventory. You can toggle and filter each of these separately. Its recipe uses AE2 parts, and the pack has changed it, so use the version shown here.[8][11]

Quantum Bridge Card
The Quantum Bridge Card is built from AE2's quantum parts: ME Quantum Link Chamber and ME Quantum Ring. It appears in the Applied Energistics 2 quest chapter as a quest in "Applied Energistics 2". That quest unlocks after the Quantum Network Bridge and Wireless Terminals quests.[9][11]

To use it, connect a Quantum Bridge to your network at base and put the card in your terminal. Then bind the two together with a Quantum Entangled Singularity. Your terminal can now reach your network from anywhere, even across dimensions, as long as the network's chunks are loaded. It also recharges from your network's energy.[5][9]
Which All the Mods 10 quests use Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
2 parts
Two quests in this pack involve the AE2 wireless terminal add-on. One sits in the Applied Energistics 2 chapter, and the other is part of the ATM Star progression in Chapter 3: The ATM Star. Here's what each one asks for and what you need to finish first.[9][10]
Applied Energistics 2 chapter
Quest a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks you to get a Quantum Bridge Card. It comes after the Quantum Network Bridge and Wireless Terminals quests, so finish those first.[9]
The card gives you another way to reach your Applied Energistics system wirelessly across dimensions. You need a Quantum Bridge connected at your base and a Quantum Bridge Card in your terminal. You then bind the two ends together with a Quantum Entangled Singularity, and you can reach your network wherever you go.[9]
Chapter 3: The ATM Star
Quest "Universal Wireless Terminal" quest asks for a Wireless Universal Terminal. It comes after the Applied Energistics quest.[10]
The recipe looks confusing, but the quest promises it's pretty easy. First craft any Wireless Terminals, then craft them together to make the Universal Wireless Terminal.[10]
Unverified The quest data doesn't say whether you should do the Applied Energistics 2 chapter quest before or after the Chapter 3 quest, so there's no confirmed order between these two chapters.
Which Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals config options matter?
Unverified This pack's config values for Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals aren't confirmed here. That includes range, power use and any settings the pack may have changed from the mod defaults. Check the mod's config file in your own All the Mods 10 8.1 install to see the exact values.
If you went looking for a range setting because your terminal keeps losing signal, you may not need a config tweak. This addon supports a Quantum Bridge Card, which lets your wireless terminals work from anywhere, even across dimensions.[1]
What changed in Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals between versions?
1 part
All the Mods 10 8.1 ships Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals version 19.5.1. The mod has been in the pack since at least All the Mods 10 2.25, so it's been part of your AE2 setup for a long time.[3]
