What is Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
2 parts
Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals is an addon for Applied Energistics 2 that adds wireless versions of several terminals. If you've built an ME system and want to reach it without walking back to a terminal block, this is the mod for you.[1]
It's a port of several older standalone wireless terminal mods (crafting, pattern, interface and fluid terminals, plus the Wireless Terminal Library) for modern Minecraft versions. This pack runs version 19.1.6-beta.[1][2]
The two big items
- The Quantum Bridge Card is the standout feature. It lets your wireless terminals work from anywhere, even across dimensions.[1]
- The Wireless Universal Terminal packs all the wireless terminals into one item, so you only need one slot for everything.[1]
Where it fits in this pack
The pack's Applied Energistics 2 quest chapter has a quest, a quest in "?", that asks you to get a Quantum Bridge Card. It unlocks after two earlier quests in that chapter, so you'll reach it once you're already working through your ME setup.[3]
There's also a quest in a separate quest chapter, a quest in "?", that asks for the Wireless Universal Terminal. It has one prerequisite quest.[4]
How do you get started with Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
4 parts
This addon for Applied Energistics 2 gives you wireless versions of several terminals. It also adds a Quantum Bridge Card that lets those terminals work from anywhere, even across dimensions, and a universal terminal that holds all your wireless terminals in one item.[1]
Step 1: Go wireless with your pattern terminals
A good first target is a wireless version of a terminal you already use. If you're setting up autocrafting, the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal lets you encode patterns without standing at a terminal block. This pack has two ways to make it: a full crafting recipe, and a shapeless upgrade recipe. Both are shown below.[5]

Crafting Shapeless

Once your patterns are running, the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal is the wireless version of the pattern access terminal. Its recipe is below.[5]

Step 2: Unlimited range with the Quantum Bridge Card
Wireless terminals are great, but the Quantum Bridge Card is where things get really fun. It lets your wireless terminals connect to a quantum bridge, which gives them unlimited range. That means you can reach your storage from anywhere, even across dimensions.[1][6]

Step 3: Pull items in with the Magnet Card
The Magnet Card is a magnet upgrade for the Wireless Crafting Terminal. One of its settings is labelled "Magnet Off, Pickup to ME". Heads up: this pack changed the Magnet Card recipe, so use the in-pack recipe below rather than one you remember from somewhere else.[5][6]

Step 4: Aim for the Wireless Universal Terminal
Your long-term goal is the Wireless Universal Terminal. It combines all your wireless terminals into one item. This pack also has a quest for it, a quest in "?".[1][4]
Unverified The sources don't include a recipe for the Wireless Universal Terminal or show how terminals are combined into it, so check your recipe viewer in-game. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals work?
4 parts
This addon doesn't add machines or multiblocks. It takes the terminals you already use on your Applied Energistics 2 network and gives you wireless versions you can carry around. Everything below builds on that one idea.[1]
Wireless terminals
The addon adds wireless versions of several AE2 terminals. In this pack you can craft the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal and the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal, so you can manage and write patterns away from your base.[1][5]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: ae2wtlib:pattern_access/wireless_pattern_access_terminal
The Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal has two recipes in this pack. One is a normal crafting recipe. The other is a shapeless upgrade recipe that turns an existing wireless terminal into the pattern encoding version. Check both and pick whichever suits the materials you already have.[5]

The universal terminal
The addon also includes a wireless universal terminal that holds all the wireless terminals in one item. Its tooltip lists which terminals are installed, so you can see at a glance what yours can open.[1][6]
Unverified The exact steps for adding terminals to the universal terminal and switching between them could not be confirmed from the available sources.
Quantum Bridge Card: unlimited range
Normally a wireless terminal needs to be in range of your network. The Quantum Bridge Card removes that limit. It lets wireless terminals connect to a quantum bridge, which gives them unlimited range, so they work from anywhere and even across dimensions.[1][6]

Unverified How to install the Quantum Bridge Card in a terminal, and how the quantum bridge must be set up on your network, is not covered by the available sources.
Magnet Card
The Magnet Card is a magnet upgrade for the Wireless Crafting Terminal. One of its settings is "Magnet Off, Pickup to ME". That label suggests the magnet stops pulling items toward you while pickups still go into your ME network, but the sources only show the label itself.[6]

How do you progress through Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
4 parts
This mod doesn't have a big tiered ladder in this pack. Progression comes down to a few wireless terminals and upgrade cards, and two quests use its items as checkpoints. Here's what the pack actually asks for and how each piece is crafted.[3][4][5]
Quest checkpoints
- In the Applied Energistics 2 quest chapter, quest a quest in "?" asks you to get a Quantum Bridge Card. It only unlocks after you finish two earlier quests in that chapter, so don't worry if it's still locked when you first open the book.[3]
- In a different chapter of the questbook, quest a quest in "?" asks you to get a Wireless Universal Terminal. It unlocks after one earlier quest in that chapter.[4]
Wireless pattern terminals
Once your autocrafting setup is running, you'll probably want pattern management on the go. The Wireless Pattern Access Terminal and the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal both use the mod's normal shaped recipes in this pack. Each one is built from its regular wired ME counterpart, so craft that terminal first.[5]

The pattern encoding terminal also has a second, shapeless upgrade recipe. If you already carry a Wireless Crafting Terminal, you can turn it into a Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal with this recipe instead of building a new terminal.[5]

Wireless Universal Terminal
The Wireless Universal Terminal is the item quest a quest in "?" is looking for, so it's worth aiming for once your wireless setup grows.[4]
Unverified The recipe dump for this pack doesn't include a recipe for the Wireless Universal Terminal. How you craft it, and which terminals it combines, is not confirmed here. Check it in-game with your recipe viewer. What the Quantum Bridge Card and Magnet Card do once installed is also not covered by the available sources. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals work with other mods?
4 parts
This mod is an addon for Applied Energistics 2 that adds wireless versions of several terminals, so nearly everything it adds is built from and plugs into your ME network. In this pack it also links up with Advanced AE and ExtendedAE through recipes, and it appears in the quest book.[1][5]
Wireless pattern terminals from AE2 parts
The Wireless Pattern Access Terminal and Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal are crafted from Applied Energistics 2 components, including the wired terminal each one replaces. These use the mod's own recipes and the pack hasn't changed them.[5]

Combining terminals, including ExtendedAE
The Wireless Universal Terminal holds all your wireless terminals in one item. The combine recipes filed under the universal terminal pair the AE2 Wireless Crafting Terminal with either wireless pattern terminal from this mod.[1][5]
Combine (ae2wtlib)

Combine (ae2wtlib)
Recipe id: ae2wtlib:wireless_universal_terminal/ce
ExtendedAE adds two combine recipes of its own that use this mod's system. They pair its Wireless Extended Pattern Access Terminal with either the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal or the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal.[5]

Combine (ae2wtlib)
Recipe id: extendedae:u_terminal/xe
Unverified The recipe dump doesn't list a result for the combine recipes, so it isn't confirmed exactly which item you get from each one.
The Wireless Universal Terminal is also a quest task in the chapter_2_the_star chapter: a quest in "?".[4]
Magnet Cards and Advanced AE
The pack changed the recipe for this mod's Magnet Card, so use the in-pack recipe below rather than the mod's default.[5]

Changed by the pack
The pack also added a recipe for Advanced AE's Magnet Card, and that recipe needs this mod's Magnet Card. So if you want Advanced AE's version, craft the wireless terminal one first.[5]

Which All the Mods 10 quests use Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.39 guide
This mod shows up in two quest chapters, and each one asks you to get a single item from it. Both quests are untitled, so look for them by the item they ask for.[7][8]
Applied Energistics 2 chapter
In the "applied_energistics_2" chapter, quest a quest in "?" asks you to obtain a Quantum Bridge Card. It unlocks once you finish its prerequisite quests, a quest in "?" and a quest in "?".[7]
chapter_2_the_star chapter
In the "chapter_2_the_star" chapter, quest a quest in "?" asks you to obtain a Wireless Universal Terminal. It unlocks after its prerequisite quest, a quest in "?".[8]
Unverified The quest files don't link these two quests to each other, so there's no confirmed order between them. Each one only needs its own prerequisites. The quest data also doesn't list any rewards for either quest.
Which Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals config options matter?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Unverified This pack's config values for Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals aren't confirmed here. That includes range, power use and any settings the pack may have changed from the mod defaults. Check the mod's config file in your own All the Mods 10 8.1 install to see the exact values.
If you went looking for a range setting because your terminal keeps losing signal, you may not need a config tweak. This addon supports a Quantum Bridge Card, which lets your wireless terminals work from anywhere, even across dimensions.[1]
What changed in Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals between versions?
1 part
All the Mods 10 1.19 ships Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals 19.1.6-beta. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mods 10 0.32 or earlier. The pack changelogs have no entries for this mod, so everything below comes from the mod's own changelogs.[2]
Recent mod releases
- 19.1.6-beta (the version in this pack): a fix for issue #307. The changelog gives no further detail, so what that issue covered is unverified.[2][9]
- 19.1.4-beta: a workaround for issue #305. The changelog doesn't say what the issue was.[10]
- 19.1.3-beta: fixed an issue where the wrong version of ae2wtlib_api got selected.[11]
These are small fixes, and the changelogs don't mention any new features or changed behavior. Anything older than 19.1.3-beta isn't covered by the sources I have.[9][10][11]
