What is Sky Logistics?
2 parts
Sky Logistics moves items, fluids and energy between machines and containers. This pack includes version 1.3.1 of the mod.[1][2]
It gives you two ways to build a transport line. Simple pipes are wired and connect adjacent machines block by block. Logistics nodes are wireless and link extract and insert faces that sit on the same line. With either system, resources stay at the source when no destination can accept them.[2]
How nodes work
Nodes are set up per face. An extract face pulls from the machine or container next to it, and an insert face pushes into one. The node screen lets you edit all six directions independently.[2][3]
A typical setup goes like this:[2]
- Create a line with the configurator.[2][3]
- Place one node beside your source and set it to extract.[2][3]
- Place another node on the same line beside your destination and set it to insert.[2][3]
- For repeated machines, copy and paste the settings instead of configuring each node by hand.[2][3]
What the mod covers
- Simple Pipes: wired item, fluid and energy lines. You use a wrench for connections and the configurator for endpoints.[2]
- Celestial Distributor: spreads item, fluid and FE access (plus supported optional resources) across up to 32 touching containers by default.[2]
- Sky Offerings: charging crystals, building offering circles and making Chora Nectar.[2]
- Logistics Network: connecting nodes, vaults, filters and external networks.[2]
- Tools and Upgrades: configuring lines, copying settings, and extending throughput or dimensions.[2]
How do you get started with Sky Logistics?
5 parts
Sky Logistics moves items, fluids and energy with wired pipes or wireless nodes. Before you get there, you go through offerings, which the mod's own guide calls its early progression path. Here is the order I'd work in.[2][5]
Step 1: Make a Eulogia Crystal
The Eulogia Crystal comes first, because the recipes for Celestial Stone and the offering altar both use it.[6]

A freshly crafted crystal is uncharged. Carry it high into the sky to absorb starlight: charging begins at Y=96 by default (server settings may change that) and takes about 20 seconds by default. It charges in your inventory, but ordinary containers do not charge it.[7]
Step 2: Make a Eulogia Companion Stone

The Eulogia Companion Stone charges at a lower height than the crystal. By default it charges at Y=64 or above and takes about 10 seconds in an inventory or on an offering table. You need a charged one for all three simple pipe recipes, so make a few.[6][7]
It is also part of the recipe for the Sky Logistics Manual, the in-game guide book for the mod. Craft it early so you can read up on each system.[2][6]
Step 3: Celestial Stone and your first altar
A charged crystal can be crafted with any stone into Celestial Stone. One craft gives 8.[6][7]

From that stone you make the Sky Offering Altar and the Sky Offering Table. One craft of tables gives 4, which matches the four side tables an offering uses.[6][8]

The altar has to be high enough in the sky (Y=96 by default) and inside a valid offering circle. Put the main ingredient on the altar and the offerings on the four side tables, in any order. When the timer finishes, the inputs vanish and the result appears in the altar slot.[5][8]
The circle has three tiers. Tier 1 unlocks basic offerings, and tier 2 adds the outer pillars needed for Chora Nectar. The Sky Offering Circle page of the in-game guide covers the layout.[5]
Step 4: Chora Nectar
Chora Nectar is a core material, made by offering on a tier 2 altar. The ritual takes about 12 seconds by default. The vault recipes and the Sky Dimension Upgrade offering both use it, so it is your next goal after the basics.[4][6]

For a wired setup, craft Simple Celestial Item Pipe. The fluid and energy pipes work the same way. Each craft gives 2 pipes, and each pipe type only joins pipes of its own type.[6][10]

For a wireless setup, use the Sky Logistics Node. One craft gives 2 nodes. The basic idea is to create a line with the configurator, put one node beside a source and set it to extract, then put another node on the same line beside a destination and set it to insert.[2][6][11]

How does Sky Logistics work?
10 parts
Sky Logistics moves resources through wired simple pipes and wireless logistics nodes. Pipes connect adjacent machines block by block, while nodes link extract and insert faces that sit on the same line. In both systems, resources stay at the source when no destination can accept them.[2]
Lines and nodes
A line can carry items, fluids and energy. Nodes are set up per face: extract faces pull from the adjacent machine or container, and insert faces push into it. The node screen lets you edit all six directions independently.[2][3]
A Sky Logistics Node attaches to the side you click and accesses the block next to it. Normal placement defaults to insert mode and sneak placement defaults to extract mode. One craft gives 2 nodes, and nodes do not store resources themselves.[11]
In the node screen each face can be disconnected, extract or insert, and only connected faces take part in a line. Higher-priority insert targets are tried earlier. Redstone is set per face, and a face pauses while its condition is not met. Extract faces can ignore signals, work with a signal, work without one, or pulse. A pulse transfers successfully once after the signal switches on, then waits for the next signal. Insert faces skip pulse, and an existing pulse setting changes to ignore.[12]
The More page holds redstone, priority, item slots and filters. A slot value of 0 means unlimited. Red text at the bottom explains invalid combinations, for example external item extraction without a concrete item whitelist.[12]
The Sky Configurator
The Sky Configurator manages lines and copies node settings. Right-click air to open its screen, where you switch lines and choose whether the saved settings carry items, fluids and energy. The lower panel lists loaded faces with their mode, resources, priority, redstone, coordinates and dimension.[9][13]
- Sneak-right-click a node while holding the configurator to copy its line and resource toggles. This puts you in paste mode without opening the node screen.[9]
- While in paste mode, right-click other nodes to paste the line and resource toggles onto them.[9]
- Leave paste mode by putting the configurator away, opening its screen, or sneak-right-clicking air or a non-node block.[9]
If you hold the configurator in your offhand while placing a node, the new node inherits the saved line and resource toggles. In this pack the configurator is a normal crafting table recipe.[6][14]

Simple pipes
Item, fluid and energy pipes only connect to pipes of the same type. Every connected group forms one line. It runs without a screen and automatically connects to usable adjacent machines or containers. Place normally to make the clicked container an insert endpoint, or sneak-place to make it an extract endpoint. Other usable neighbours connect in insert mode.[15]
Right-click a pipe connection with the Sky Wrench to disconnect or reconnect that side. Right-click a machine-facing endpoint with the configurator to flip it between extract and insert. Extract endpoints show a wider collar.[15]
- Item: 64 items per extracting endpoint per tick, using at most one source slot and one target slot per transfer.[15]
- Fluid: 10,000 mB per extracting endpoint per tick.[15]
- Energy: 100,000 FE per extracting endpoint per tick.[15]
- Botania mana and Ars Nouveau Source: 50 per extracting endpoint per tick each.[15]
A line holds at most 1,024 pipe blocks by default. If a placement would go over, the new connection stays disconnected and a message appears. Server settings can change the rates and the limit.[15]
Each pipe recipe makes 2 pipes and needs a charged Eulogia Companion Stone. Here is the fluid pipe as an example.[6][15]

Celestial Distributor
The Celestial Distributor lets one node or simple pipe feed or collect from a row of touching containers. It stores nothing. By default it reaches up to 32 targets, and servers can change that. Hoppers and other mods' pipes cannot connect to it directly.[2][16]
Right-click it with a configurator or compatible wrench to change direction. All-sides mode connects nearby touching containers, while directional mode follows a straight row along the arrow. Directional connections can pass through other distributors on the same line, and each of those counts toward the limit.[16]
Without redstone, incoming resources are shared as evenly as possible. With a redstone signal, machines fill one after another instead. Machine side access still matters, so a machine that gets nothing needs its input sides, filters and maintenance value checked. Holding a configurator and aiming at the distributor highlights connected targets in cyan.[16]

Upgrades and slot matching
Slot Parallel Upgrades (Slot Parallel Upgrade) stack in one node upgrade slot, and each card adds one slot check per tick. By default up to 8 cards raise the rate from 1 to 9 slots/t, and the server can change that limit. Actual speed also depends on the receivers.[14]
Ordered Matching Upgrades work on items only. Per Slot is the default and works on item extract or insert nodes, while Per Item works on extract nodes only. Right-click air to switch modes. Per Slot maps local slot plus order offset to a network position, and sneak-scrolling changes the offset. An offset of 2 maps slot 0 to position 2, and -2 maps slot 2 to position 0. Per Item shares the current item among receivers that can accept it and leaves leftovers at the source. Switching to Per Item clears the offset.[14][17]
Sky Dimension Upgrade goes in an extract node's upgrade slot and lets it send to same-line insert faces in other loaded dimensions. Insert faces don't need one. It is not a chunk loader, so unloaded dimensions or chunks are skipped.[6][14][17]
A tier 2 offering that takes about 12 seconds.
Force Extraction Upgrade works only on item extract nodes. For devices the server allows, it can move more than one stack at a time, up to what the target can accept. By default, compatible Mekanism Extras devices are supported. Without the required mods or server support it is hidden from creative inventory and JEI and can't be made through an offering.[14]
Sky Offering (skylogistics)
Recipe id: skylogistics:force_extraction_upgrade
The Kleis Dominion Wand turns a machine face into a wireless virtual endpoint without placing a node. Hold it in your main hand with a configured configurator in your offhand. Right-click creates an insert face and sneak-right-click creates an extract face. Virtual faces always ignore redstone and route across loaded dimensions without a Dimension Upgrade.[18][19]
Vaults and filters
The Celestial Item Vault stores items by type and the Celestial Fluid Vault stores fluids by type. Both start with a small type limit. Right-click with Chora Nectar to raise it, or sneak-right-click to use as much of the held stack as possible. Players can open vaults, and nodes, hoppers and other automation can access them.[20][21]
The Sky Filter List stores exact item, fluid and supported chemical samples in 18 ghost slots. It supports whitelist or blacklist, data matching and durability matching. Putting it in a node face filter slot, or right-clicking a simple-pipe endpoint with it, copies the rules without consuming it. Later edits to the original don't update copies.[20][21]
External network interfaces
The Sky ME Interface (Applied Energistics 2), the Sky RS Interface (Refined Storage) and the Sky Dimensional Network Interface (Beyond Dimensions) connect big storage networks to a line. They use the node-style screen, with two upgrade slots, and have no buffer, so rejected resources stay in the original network. New interfaces start with item, fluid and energy disabled, so enable what you need.[22]
Extra resources like FE, chemicals, mana, Source or Warden Souls depend on optional add-on mods, and every resource path has its own server switch.[22]
Sky Necklace
The Sky Necklace connects your own inventory to a Sky line through an item whitelist. It does nothing without a whitelist filter containing at least one concrete item, and blacklists are rejected. It works from a Curios slot when available, or from your main inventory otherwise.[23]
- Extract sends matching player-side items to line targets.[23]
- Insert takes matching items from line sources and puts them on your side.[23]
- Maintain targets your main inventory, inserting shortages and sending away excess. It needs a slot or quantity target above zero.[23]
By default it works about twice per second, and a Dimension Upgrade in its slots allows access to endpoints in other loaded dimensions.[23]
Offering altar
Key logistics parts come from sky offerings. The altar and offering table each have one slot holding up to 64 items and no GUI. Right-click to insert or extract, and pipes or hopper-like automation can reach the slot. Put the main ingredient on the altar and the offerings on the four side tables, in any order.[8]
The altar must be inside a valid offering circle and high enough, Y=96 by default. When the duration finishes, the inputs vanish and the result appears in the altar slot, or drops above it if it doesn't fit. The altar consumes a charged Eulogia Crystal, while the table only needs Celestial Stone.[5][8]
The circle has three tiers: a complete lower 5x5 frame for tier 1, outer pillars with Celestial Glass on top for tier 2, and four Chora Nectar Block blocks in the inner frame corners for tier 3. A tier 3 altar is four times as fast by default and also handles tier 1 and 2 recipes.[8][24]

Transfer rates on servers
Servers can optionally raise transfer amounts through vanilla advancements, or through AStages if installed. Both are server decisions, and unlocks follow the line owner. Stages raise how much moves at once, not how often nodes work.[25][26]
How do you progress through Sky Logistics?
3 parts
Sky Logistics progresses through two kinds of crafting: ordinary crafting table recipes first, then sky offerings at an altar. Everything below follows the in-pack recipes and the mod's in-game guide.[4][6]
Tier 1: the starter kit
Everything starts with the Eulogia Crystal. It is crafted at a normal crafting table, and the Celestial Stone, the altar and the offering tables all depend on it or on the stone it makes.[6]

- Craft the Eulogia Crystal.[6]
- Use it to make Celestial Stone. One craft gives you 8.[6]
- Make a Sky Offering Altar and some Sky Offering Table blocks. One table craft gives you 4.[6]
- Craft the Eulogia Companion Stone, which the pipes and the manual need.[6]

With that done, the basic logistics pieces are all plain crafting: the Sky Logistics Node, the Simple Celestial Item Pipe, Simple Celestial Fluid Pipe and Simple Celestial Energy Pipe, the Sky Configurator and the Celestial Wrench. The pipe guide says every pipe recipe needs a charged Eulogia Companion Stone.[6][10]

By default each extracting item pipe moves up to 64 items per tick, fluid pipes move 10,000 mB/t and energy pipes move 100,000 FE/t. A single pipe line holds at most 1024 pipe blocks by default.[10]
The Slot Parallel Upgrade is also a crafting table recipe. Cards stack in one node upgrade slot, and by default up to 8 of them raise the base rate from 1 to 9 slots/t. The server can change that limit.[6][14][17]
Tier 2: Chora Nectar and offerings
The big gate is Chora Nectar. The guide calls it a core Sky Logistics material, and it needs a tier 2 altar. The ritual takes about 12 seconds by default, and the offerings and crystal are consumed when it finishes.[4]

The Sky Dimension Upgrade is also a tier 2 sky offering and takes about 12 seconds. Install it only on the extracting node. It lets extract faces send to same-line insert faces in other loaded dimensions, but it is not a chunk loader.[6][14][17]
The Force Extraction Upgrade is a tier 2 offering too, and it consumes a Slot Parallel Upgrade. It only works on item extract nodes. Without the required mods or server support it is hidden from creative inventory and JEI and cannot be made through an offering.[6][14][17]
Sky Offering (skylogistics)
Recipe id: skylogistics:force_extraction_upgrade
The offering recipes also cover the Celestial Glass, Sky Necklace, Sky ME Interface and Sky RS Interface. The two interfaces build on an AE2 or Refined Storage interface.[6]
Tier 3 and the endgame
Nine nectar craft into one Chora Nectar Block. Four blocks replace the corners of the inner 5x5 frame when you upgrade a tier 2 altar to tier 3.[4][6]

The Kleis Dominion Wand sits at the end of the chain. Its recipe pulls in a Chora Nectar Block and a Sky Dimension Upgrade. With a configured Sky Configurator in your offhand, it creates and removes wireless virtual faces.[6][19]
How does Sky Logistics work with other mods?
5 parts
Sky Logistics reaches into other mods mainly through its external network interfaces. They connect large storage networks from other mods to a Sky Logistics line, so your wireless nodes and pipes can pull from or push into an ME or RS network.[22]
Sky ME Interface (Applied Energistics 2)
The Sky ME Interface works with Applied Energistics 2 and moves items and fluids in an ME network. In this pack it is made through the mod's sky offering, and the recipe uses an ME Interface as one of its parts.[6][22]

According to the mod's own guide, if AppFlux, Applied Mekanistics, Applied Botanics or Ars Énergistique is installed, the interface can also access FE, chemicals, mana or Source. Every resource path has its own server switch.[22]
Unverified Which of those Applied Energistics 2 add-ons are actually installed in this pack is not confirmed by the sources.
Sky RS Interface (Refined Storage)
The Sky RS Interface works with Refined Storage and exposes items and fluids in an RS network. The item and fluid paths can be disabled independently. It is also made through the mod's sky offering, and its recipe uses both an Interface and a Fluid Interface.[6][22]

Setting up an external interface
The interfaces share the same node-style screen, so setup feels familiar. A few details are worth knowing before you place one:[22]
- The screen covers line, extract or insert mode, resource types, two upgrade slots, redstone, priority and filters.[22]
- Newly placed interfaces start with item, fluid and energy resources disabled, so enable what you need in the screen. If you place one with a configurator, its saved resource toggles are applied instead.[22]
- Interfaces have no intermediate buffer. Anything the destination rejects stays in the original network.[22]
- Turning off an integration switch does not remove interface blocks or damage saved lines.[22]
Sky Dimension Interface
The mod's guide also describes a Sky Dimension Interface for Beyond Dimensions networks, covering items, fluids and FE, with chemicals or Source if Mekanism or Ars Nouveau is installed. It connects third-party storage and is not the same as a Dimension Upgrade for ordinary nodes. The recipe dump I have does not show a recipe for it, so check it in game.[22]
Progression integrations
When AStages is installed and the server enables the integration, unlocking stages can raise how much your lines move per transfer. It applies to nodes, external interfaces and simple pipes. Unlock requirements are set by the server, and pipes and devices still cannot exceed their own limits.[26]
Vanilla advancements can do something similar without any extra mod. This feature is off by default, and your server decides whether to turn it on and which advancements unlock improvements.[25]
Which Sky Logistics config options matter?
1 part
Sky Logistics only has one config option that the sources for this pack cover, and it is a client-side visual setting. It lives in the client config file, so it only affects how the game looks for you.[27]
Configurator player heads
The option gui.renderConfiguratorPlayerHeads controls whether the configurator's line details show active Sky Necklaces as player heads. This pack sets it to true, so those heads are displayed.[27]
The sources don't show a mod default for this option, so there is no way to tell from them whether the pack changed it. If you'd rather not see player heads in the line details, set it to false in the client config file.[27]
Unverified Any other Sky Logistics config options, such as server or common settings, are not covered by the sources available for this section.
