Clumps in Project Infinity 0.1

Clumps is a small quality-of-life and performance mod. It groups XP orbs together into a single entity, which reduces lag when lots of orbs end up in a small area, for example around a big mob farm.^[1]

It also makes you collect orbs the moment they touch you, so you are not left with a cloud of orbs floating in your face.^[1]

Version and setup in the pack

The pack ships Clumps 12.0.0.4, built for Forge 1.20.1. It has been in the pack since version 0.0.45.4 or earlier. For Minecraft 1.17 and newer, the mod's page says it is only required on the server side, so that applies to this version.^[1][2]

Unverified Where the pack's quest book places Clumps (its chapter and group, what comes before and after it) and whether the ATM Star path uses it are not shown in the sources here. Those details would be in the pack's quest book, and nothing here confirms a placement.

Good news: Clumps doesn't ask you to craft anything or set anything up. It works in the background from the moment you load in, so there's no first item to make and no recipe to follow.^[1]
