What is Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals (ae2wtlib) is an addon for Applied Energistics 2 that adds wireless versions of several of its terminals. It is a Fabric/Forge port of the Wireless Crafting Terminal, Wireless Pattern Terminal, Wireless Interface Terminal, Wireless Fluid Terminal and Wireless Terminal Library mods for modern Minecraft versions.[1]
The big draw is support for a Quantum Bridge Card. With it, a wireless terminal works from everywhere, even across dimensions. The mod also adds a wireless universal terminal, which has all the wireless terminals in one item.[1]
This pack ships version 15.3.3 for Forge. The mod has been in the pack since 0.0.45.4 or earlier.[2]
How do you get started with Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
4 parts
This mod adds wireless versions of several Applied Energistics 2 terminals. It also adds a wireless universal terminal, which holds all the wireless terminals in one item. Here is a sensible order for the first things to make in this pack.[1]
Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal
Start with the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal. The pack gives you two ways to get it. The first recipe below crafts it directly.[3]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: ae2wtlib:pattern_encoding/wireless_pattern_encoding_terminal
The second is a shapeless upgrade recipe, which is handy if you already have the right terminal on hand.[3]

Wireless Pattern Access Terminal
Next comes the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal. It has a single crafting recipe in this pack, shown below.[3]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: ae2wtlib:pattern_access/wireless_pattern_access_terminal
Quantum Bridge Card
Then make the Quantum Bridge Card. It allows wireless terminals to connect to a quantum bridge, which gives unlimited range. The mod's project page adds that this lets terminals work from everywhere, even across dimensions.[1][4]

Magnet Card
The Magnet Card is a magnet upgrade for the Wireless Crafting Terminal. Its settings screen has a magnet filter with whitelist and blacklist modes, plus a "Pickup to ME System" option. There are also keybinds to toggle the Magnet Card and to toggle restock.[4]
This recipe is changed by the pack, so follow the block below rather than what you may remember from other packs.[3]

How does Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals work?
5 parts
ae2wtlib is an addon for Applied Energistics 2 that adds wireless versions of several ME terminals. Instead of standing at a network terminal block, you carry the terminal and use it from wherever your ME network can reach you. It also adds a wireless universal terminal, which packs all the wireless terminals into a single item.[1]
Wireless range and the Quantum Bridge Card
The Quantum Bridge Card is the range upgrade. Its in-game description says it lets wireless terminals connect to a quantum bridge, giving unlimited range. The mod's project page adds that this lets terminals work from everywhere and even across dimensions.[1][4]

The sources don't give the normal range without the card, or how much power a terminal uses, so I won't guess at either.[1][4]
The pattern terminals
The mod adds a Wireless Pattern Access Terminal and a Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal. Each has its own keybind to open it: one for the pattern access terminal and one for the pattern encoding terminal. A third keybind, "Open next Terminal", cycles between the terminals installed in a universal terminal.[4]

If you already own a Wireless Crafting Terminal, there is also a shapeless upgrade route to the encoding terminal.[3]

Magnet Card
The Magnet Card is described as a magnet upgrade for the Wireless Crafting Terminal. The pack changed its recipe from the mod's default, so use the recipe below rather than any other guide you find.[3][4]

The card has its own settings screen, titled "Magnet Settings". The interface text shows what you can configure:[4]
- A Magnet Filter with a Pickup Filter and an Insert Filter, each of which can be switched between Whitelist and Blacklist. There are also "Copy to Pickup" and "Copy to Insert" buttons, and a "Switch Filters" button.[4]
- A "Pickup to ME System" option. The card's status text can read "Pickup to Inventory", "Pickup to ME", "Magnet Off, Pickup to ME" or "Off".[4]
- Other terminal toggles named in the interface: Restock, Enable Pick Block, Craft if Missing, and a Trash slot.[4]
There are keybinds to toggle the Magnet Card, toggle Restock, and stow the stack in your hand into the ME system.[4]
Unverified The sources give only the names of the Restock, Pick Block and Craft if Missing options, not exactly how each one behaves, and the pack has no config files for this mod.
Universal terminal and the pack's uncrafter
The Wireless Universal Terminal lists the terminals installed in it in its tooltip. This pack adds a way to take a universal terminal apart again, using two scripts.[4][5][6]
- Put a universal terminal alone in a crafting grid. A shapeless recipe turns it into a Universal Wireless Terminal Uncrafter, which keeps the terminal's stored data but drops the current-terminal and internal max power entries.[5]
- Right-click a grindstone with the uncrafter in your main hand. The uncrafter is used up and you get back each terminal that was installed.[6]
The terminals it can return include the Wireless Crafting Terminal, the two pattern terminals from this mod, and wireless terminals from other addons.[6]
Known issues
The project page lists one known issue: displaying Trinkets in the wireless crafting terminal no longer works.[1]
How do you progress through Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals?
3 parts
The recipes in this pack do not form a numbered tier ladder for this mod. Each item has its own recipe, so you progress by choosing which terminal or card you want next.[3]
Wireless pattern terminals
The Wireless Pattern Access Terminal is a shaped crafting recipe, and the pack leaves it as the mod's own recipe.[3]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: ae2wtlib:pattern_access/wireless_pattern_access_terminal
The Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal has two routes, and both are the mod's own recipes: a shaped recipe and a shapeless upgrade recipe.[3]

Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: ae2wtlib:pattern_encoding/upgrade_wireless_pattern_encoding_terminal
This is the shapeless upgrade route, and it is the mod's own recipe, not a pack change.
Upgrade cards
The Quantum Bridge Card uses the mod's own shaped recipe, unchanged by the pack.[3]

The Magnet Card is different: the pack changed its recipe, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's default. Check the recipe below.[3]

The pack changed this recipe, so this is the pack's version and not the mod default.
Getting terminals back out of a universal terminal
The pack adds a way to take a wireless universal terminal apart. A shapeless recipe turns the universal terminal into an item called the universal wireless terminal uncrafter. It keeps the terminal's stored data, except the currently selected terminal and the stored maximum power.[5]
To use it, right-click a grindstone while holding the uncrafter. The uncrafter is used up, and you get back a terminal for each type stored in it. That includes the Wireless Crafting Terminal, the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal and the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal, plus several terminals from other mods.[6]
How does Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals work with other mods?
4 parts
The wireless terminals in this pack are built to be merged with terminals from other Applied Energistics add-ons. Most of the links below are recipes of the combine type, which take one of the pack's wireless pattern terminals plus a partner terminal from another mod. The recipe dump doesn't list what these combine recipes output, so check the rendered recipes on this page or in game for the result.[3]
Combining with add-on terminals
Each of these add-on terminals has one recipe with the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal and one with the Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal:[3]
- Wireless Quantum Crafter Terminal: recipes advanced_ae:wt_combine_access and advanced_ae:wt_combine_encoding.[3]
- Wireless Emitter Terminal, Wireless Notification Terminal and Wireless Redstone Terminal: each combines with both wireless pattern terminals through recipes in the crazyae2addons namespace.[3]
- Wireless Transmutation Terminal: the pack changed both of its combine recipes, appliede:ae2wtlib/combine_at and appliede:ae2wtlib/combine_et, so don't rely on the mod's defaults.[3]
- Wireless Extended Pattern Access Terminal: the pack also changed both of its combine recipes, expatternprovider:u_terminal/xa and expatternprovider:u_terminal/xe.[3]

Universal terminal and the ME WCWT
The mod's own combine recipes pair the Wireless Crafting Terminal with either the wireless pattern access terminal or the wireless pattern encoding terminal. These sit under the wireless_universal_terminal recipe ids. The Wireless Universal Terminal is the one item that holds all the wireless terminals.[1][3]
The ME WCWT from the wcwt namespace is a shapeless recipe. It takes the crafting terminal, the plain Wireless Terminal, and both wireless pattern terminals.[3]

Pack-made universal terminal uncrafter
This one is added by the pack itself. A shapeless recipe turns a Wireless Universal Terminal into a Universal Wireless Terminal Uncrafter. The script copies the terminal's data onto the new item, but removes the currentTerminal and internalMaxPower entries.[3][5]
Shapeless (kubejs)
Recipe id: kubejs:kjs/universal_wireless_terminal_uncrafter
To use it, right-click a grindstone with the uncrafter in your main hand. The uncrafter is used up, and you get back a terminal item for each terminal type stored in its data. The script knows these types: crafting, ex pattern access, pattern access, pattern encoding, quantum crafter, transmutation, and the emitter, notification and redstone terminals. That means you can take a universal terminal apart again without losing the add-on terminals you merged into it.[6]
Pack-changed Magnet Card
The Magnet Card recipe was changed by the pack, so don't assume the mod's default applies here. The Advanced Card and the ME Annihilation Plane both appear in the pack's version, and the exact recipe is shown below.[3]

What changed in Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals between versions?
1 part
Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 ships Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals 15.3.3-forge. The mod has been in the pack since Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.45.4 or earlier, so this is the version you get if you're playing this release.[2]
15.3.3 changes
The mod's own changelog for the version in this pack lists two changes:[7]
- A new setting lets pick block request the item from your network when you don't have it available (#360).[7]
- The text of the Wireless Terminal Settings button was changed (fixes #359).[7]
Unverified The pack changelogs have no entries for this mod, and the mod changelogs for versions other than 15.3.3 weren't available, so changes in earlier or later releases are unverified.
