What is Jonn's Trophies?

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.0 guide

Jonn's Trophies is included in this pack as version 1.21.1-2.5.0, and it has been part of the pack since version 2.25 or earlier.[1]

Unverified We don't yet have reliable details on what Jonn's Trophies does, who it's aimed at, or which items and blocks it adds. Your best bet for now is to look it up in-game with a recipe viewer. This site does hold FTB StoneBlock 4's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

Unverified Jonn's Trophies doesn't appear to be on the ATM Star path or in any of this pack's quests, so it's probably an optional side feature rather than part of the main progression.

How do you get started with Jonn's Trophies?

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide

The only detail I can confirm for this mod is a JEI display with the text "Any item can go here". It suggests that one of the mod's JEI entries has a slot where any item is accepted.[2]

Unverified The sources here do not show any recipe that produces this mod's items, and they do not show any quest in this pack that involves the mod. Because of that, this section has no recipe blocks and no first-items order.

How does Jonn's Trophies work?

2 parts

Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide

Jonn's Trophies adds a Trophy block. The sources for this mod are limited to its screen text, so this section covers only what that text shows about the trophy's settings screen.[3]

The trophy settings screen

The trophy has a screen where you adjust how it is displayed. These are the controls its labels show:[3]

  • Pose: you can pick Standing, Sitting or Flying.[3]
  • Size: a size setting for the displayed trophy.[3]
  • Y Offset: a vertical offset setting.[3]
  • Rotation: a rotation setting that displays its value in degrees.[3]
  • Apply and Reset: buttons on the screen.[3]

Item Trophy in JEI

The mod also has JEI text labelled "Item Trophy", with a slot hint that reads "Any item can go here".[3]

Which Jonn's Trophies config options matter?

4 parts

Everything for Jonn's Trophies lives in one file, General.dropChanceMobs and its neighbors under the General section. This pack changed the mob and player drop chances from the mod defaults, and both affect how you get trophies.[4]

What this pack changed

  • General.dropChanceMobs is set to 0 in this pack. The mod default is 0.02. This is the drop chance when a player kills a normal mob, so you should not expect trophies from regular mobs here.[4]
  • General.dropChancePlayers is set to 0 in this pack. The mod default is 1. The range for this option is 0.0 to 1.0.[4]
Watch out: General.dropFromMobs is still true, but General.dropChanceMobs is set to 0 in this pack, so the toggle alone won't give you trophies from normal mobs. Player drops are also switched off: General.dropFromPlayers is false, and the file marks it as a work in progress.[4]

Boss drops and looting

General.dropChanceBoss is 0.2, the same as the mod default. General.applyLooting is true, so the Looting enchantment increases the drop chance.[4]

Permissions and machines

Appearance defaults

Trophies dropped from mobs use General.defaultBaseBlock, set to minecraft:smooth_stone_slab. General.defaultScale and General.defaultYOffset are both 0.5, which matches the mod defaults.[4]

If you change the base block, adjust the Y offset to match. The config comment suggests 1.0 for a full block, 0.5 for slabs and 0.1 for carpets.[4]

The limits are unchanged from the mod defaults: General.maxSize is 20 and General.maxYOffset is 2,000.[4]

Tip: General.nbtMap is empty because that option has moved to a datamap at /data/trophymanager/data_maps/entity_type/nbt_map.json, so editing it in the config file won't do anything.[4]
