What is Jonn's Trophies?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.0 guide
Jonn's Trophies is included in this pack as version 1.21.1-2.5.0, and it has been part of the pack since version 2.25 or earlier.[1]
Unverified We don't yet have reliable details on what Jonn's Trophies does, who it's aimed at, or which items and blocks it adds. Your best bet for now is to look it up in-game with a recipe viewer. This site does hold FTB StoneBlock 4's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Unverified Jonn's Trophies doesn't appear to be on the ATM Star path or in any of this pack's quests, so it's probably an optional side feature rather than part of the main progression.
How do you get started with Jonn's Trophies?
2 parts
Jonn's Trophies adds a Trophy block, and in this pack there is no crafting step to start with. The sources I have show no recipe for it and no quests that involve the mod, so I can't give you a crafting route.[2]
Unverified How you obtain a Trophy block in this pack (crafting, creative menu or commands) could not be confirmed from the available sources.
What the pack changed about drops
The mod can drop trophies when you kill things, and General.dropFromMobs is on. But this pack sets General.dropChanceMobs to 0, down from the mod default of 0.02. So normal mobs won't give you trophies here.[3]
Bosses are different. General.dropChanceBoss is 0.2, the same as the mod default. If General.applyLooting stays true, the Looting enchantment increases the drop chance, so a Looting weapon is worth bringing to a boss fight.[3]
Don't count on player kills or machines. General.dropFromPlayers is false (the config marks it as work in progress), and General.dropChancePlayers is set to 0 here. General.allowFakePlayer is false too, so mob farms won't earn trophy drops.[3]
Editing a trophy
The mod's screen has an Apply button for confirming your changes to a trophy. In this pack, General.allowNonOpEdit is false, so only opped players can change a trophy's settings.[2][3]
Trophies dropped from mobs use a smooth stone slab as the base block (General.defaultBaseBlock), a scale of 0.5 (General.defaultScale) and a Y offset of 0.5 (General.defaultYOffset). The pack keeps the mod defaults for these. The size multiplier is capped at 20 (General.maxSize) and the Y offset at 2,000 (General.maxYOffset), also the mod defaults.[3]
How does Jonn's Trophies work?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide
Jonn's Trophies adds a Trophy block. The sources for this mod are limited to its screen text, so this section covers only what that text shows about the trophy's settings screen.[4]
The trophy settings screen
The trophy has a screen where you adjust how it is displayed. These are the controls its labels show:[4]
- Pose: you can pick Standing, Sitting or Flying.[4]
- Size: a size setting for the displayed trophy.[4]
- Y Offset: a vertical offset setting.[4]
- Rotation: a rotation setting that displays its value in degrees.[4]
- Apply and Reset: buttons on the screen.[4]
Item Trophy in JEI
The mod also has JEI text labelled "Item Trophy", with a slot hint that reads "Any item can go here".[4]
Which Jonn's Trophies config options matter?
4 parts
Same as in the FTB StoneBlock 4 1.21.0 guide
Everything for Jonn's Trophies lives in one file, General.dropChanceMobs and its neighbors under the General section. This pack changed the mob and player drop chances from the mod defaults, and both affect how you get trophies.[5]
What this pack changed
- General.dropChanceMobs is set to 0 in this pack. The mod default is 0.02. This is the drop chance when a player kills a normal mob, so you should not expect trophies from regular mobs here.[5]
- General.dropChancePlayers is set to 0 in this pack. The mod default is 1. The range for this option is 0.0 to 1.0.[5]
Boss drops and looting
General.dropChanceBoss is 0.2, the same as the mod default. General.applyLooting is true, so the Looting enchantment increases the drop chance.[5]
Permissions and machines
- General.allowFakePlayer is false, so fake players (machines) don't get trophy drops.[5]
- General.allowNonOpEdit is false, so only opped players can change a trophy's settings.[5]
Appearance defaults
Trophies dropped from mobs use General.defaultBaseBlock, set to minecraft:smooth_stone_slab. General.defaultScale and General.defaultYOffset are both 0.5, which matches the mod defaults.[5]
If you change the base block, adjust the Y offset to match. The config comment suggests 1.0 for a full block, 0.5 for slabs and 0.1 for carpets.[5]
The limits are unchanged from the mod defaults: General.maxSize is 20 and General.maxYOffset is 2,000.[5]
