What is Jonn's Trophies?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.0 guide
Jonn's Trophies is included in this pack as version 1.21.1-2.5.0, and it has been part of the pack since version 2.25 or earlier.[1]
Unverified We don't yet have reliable details on what Jonn's Trophies does, who it's aimed at, or which items and blocks it adds. Your best bet for now is to look it up in-game with a recipe viewer. This site does hold All the Mods 11's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Unverified Jonn's Trophies doesn't appear to be on the ATM Star path or in any of this pack's quests, so it's probably an optional side feature rather than part of the main progression.
How do you get started with Jonn's Trophies?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide
Jonn's Trophies adds one block, the Trophy. The sources I have for this pack only cover the mod's screen text, so this section stays short and sticks to what that text shows.[2]
What the trophy screen lets you change
The trophy has its own settings screen with an Apply button and a Reset button. Use Apply to confirm your changes and Reset to put the settings back.[2]
- Pose: you can pick Flying, Sitting or Standing.[2]
- Size: the screen has a size setting for the trophy.[2]
- Y Offset: this setting moves the displayed trophy up or down.[2]
- Rotation: the screen shows a rotation value in degrees.[2]
Item trophies in JEI
The mod adds a JEI entry called Item Trophy. It shows the text "Any item can go here", so check that entry in JEI to see how the item slot works.[2]
Unverified How you obtain the trophy in this pack is not shown in the sources here. They include no recipe for it, no quest that mentions it and no config file for the mod, so check in-game with JEI. This site does hold All the Mods 11's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does Jonn's Trophies work?
4 parts
Jonn's Trophies is not a machine mod. There is no power, no fluids, no multiblocks and no item pipes to automate. Everything revolves around one block, the Trophy, and the sources here only cover how that block is adjusted and what it drops. So this section is short.[2][3]
Adjusting a trophy
The trophy has its own screen with a few controls. You can change its Y offset, its size, and its rotation, and you can pick a pose: Flying, Sitting or Standing. There are Apply and Reset buttons, so you can tweak a trophy and then either commit the change or go back to the start.[2]
The mod also adds JEI text for an Item Trophy, which says that any item can go in its slot.[2]
Per-mob display settings
The mod ships a data file that gives certain mobs their own offset, rotation and scale. Not every mob is listed, only the ones that need special values. Some examples from the file:[4]
- Ender dragon: offset 0.8, rotation 180.0, scale 0.1.[4]
- Ghast: offset 1.4, rotation 0.0, scale 0.4.[4]
- Glow squid: offset 0.7, rotation 70.0, scale 0.4.[4]
- Bee, phantom and vex: offset 0.8, rotation 0.0, scale 1.0.[4]
Entries for other mods only apply when that mod is loaded. The file has them for the Ice and Fire fire, ice and lightning dragons (offset 0.8, scale 0.1, via IceAndFire Community Edition), the Twilight Forest hydra (offset 0.5, scale 0.4) and ur-ghast (offset 1.4, scale 0.4), and the Biomes You'll Go man o' war (offset 0.9, scale 0.5). It also has Shiny versions of the bee, ghast, glow squid, phantom and vex, which reuse the same values as their vanilla counterparts.[4]
Drop rate
A separate data file sets a drop rate per entity type. The only entry in it is the ender dragon, at 1.0.[5]
Breaking and moving a trophy
When you break a trophy block, it drops the Trophy item and keeps its custom name and custom data. So a trophy you have set up carries its data with it when you pick it up.[3]
The mod also defines a trophy_base tag for both blocks and items, and that tag contains all slabs.[6][7]
Unverified The mod has a data map at data/trophymanager/data_maps/entity_type/nbt_map.json. The sources here do not show its contents, so what it does is unverified. The pack has no config files for this mod, so there are no settings to change there either.
How do you progress through Jonn's Trophies?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.2 guide
This one is short, because the mod data I can see doesn't describe a progression ladder. What it does show is how trophies work, and that's worth knowing before you start collecting.[8][9][10]
What the data shows
- When you break a placed Trophy, it drops itself and keeps its custom name and custom data, so a trophy you've set up doesn't lose its contents when you pick it up.[8]
- Any slab works as the base of a trophy, both as a block and as an item.[11][12]
- The Ender Dragon has a drop rate of 1.0 in the mod's drop rate map, and it is the only mob listed there.[9]
- Each supported mob has its own display settings for offset, rotation and scale. The Ender Dragon, for example, is shown with an offset of 0.8, a rotation of 180.0 and a scale of 0.1.[10]
- Entries for mobs from other mods, such as Ice and Fire dragons or the Twilight Forest Hydra, only apply when that mod is loaded.[10]
Unverified No tier system, quest chapter or crafting recipe for trophies could be confirmed from the available sources, so this guide doesn't describe a progression path for the mod.
