IntegratedTerminals is a mod in FTB Evolution 2 1.4.0, where it is version 1.10.0. Terminals for managing and overviewing Integrated Dynamics networks. (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)

What is IntegratedTerminals?

Same as in the All the Mods - Gravitas 4.0 guide

IntegratedTerminals is part of the pack. The pack ships version 1.4.9, built for Minecraft 1.18.2 (file IntegratedTerminals-1.18.2-1.4.9.jar). The pack's mod list shows it was already included in this pack or an earlier version, so it isn't a recent addition.[1]

Unverified I don't have a guidebook, platform description or quest data for this mod, so I can't confirm what it does in this pack, who it suits, or where it fits in the progression. The mod also isn't on the ATM Star path and no quests in this pack involve it. Check back once more details are available, and don't assume any recipes, configs or mechanics until then.

How do you get started with IntegratedTerminals?

3 parts

Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide

IntegratedTerminals is an extension to Integrated Dynamics. It gives you terminals to manage and overview your Integrated Dynamics networks. The main one is the Storage Terminal, which lets you interact with your storage networks, such as attached Energy Batteries.[2]

Step 1: Make Menril Glass

Before you can craft the Storage Terminal, you need a special self-illuminating glass called Menril Glass. You make it in a Drying Basin, by drying Menril Resin onto Glass. Get this done first, because the terminal recipe depends on it.[2]

Step 2: Craft the Storage Terminal

Your first real terminal is the Part Terminal Storage. Here is the exact in-pack recipe:[3]

Once it is crafted, open its GUI to browse your network. The mod tracks both of these as advancements, so you can check them off as you go. Inside the GUI you can set the size of the storage grid, choose how items and fluids are sorted, and save your current settings as the default for new terminals.[2]

If you want to upgrade it later, right-click a Storage Terminal with an Eye of Ender. The mod calls this an ender upgrade.[2]

Step 3: Optional extras

The Portable Storage Terminal has its own recipe in the pack:[3]

The Part Terminal Crafting Job is the Crafting Job Terminal. It shows every running crafting job in the network and lets you cancel them. For each job you can see the remaining sub-jobs, status, duration, owner and channel.[2][3]

Tip: The Crafting Job Terminal only matters if you have an autocrafting mod such as Integrated Crafting installed. Without one, there are no crafting jobs for it to show, so you can skip it until you set up autocrafting.[2]

Unverified What the Portable Storage Terminal does compared with the Storage Terminal, and whether Integrated Crafting is included in this pack, could not be confirmed from the available sources. No quests in the pack involve this mod.

How does IntegratedTerminals work?

6 parts

IntegratedTerminals adds terminals for managing and overviewing Integrated Dynamics networks. The two you will use most are the storage terminal, which shows what your network holds, and the crafting job terminal, which tracks automated crafting. Here is how they behave in this pack.[4]

The storage terminal

The terminal shows your network's contents as tabs. If you see no tabs, you need to connect storage to the network with an interface. Once tabs appear, click one to view what is inside.[4]

You can sort items by ID, name or amount, and fluids by ID, name or amount in mB, in ascending or descending order. The pack pauses automatic re-sorting while you hold shift, and it shows your clicks immediately before the server confirms them.[4][5]

The grid size is adjustable. The pack sets small to 9 columns by 5 rows, medium to 10 by 7 and large to 11 by 9. When you scale the grid freely, it can grow to at most 32 columns and 20 rows. The "Mark as default settings" button applies your current settings to new terminals.[4][5]

When you click a stack, the terminal selects a starting quantity. In the pack that is 64 for items and 100,000 for both fluids and energy. Right-clicking removes 1 for items and 1,000 for fluids and energy.[5]

Channels are shown as "Chan:" in the terminal. The pack has tooltips list which channels an ingredient is available in when all channels are shown at once.[4][5]

Ender upgrade

Right-click a storage terminal with an Eye of Ender to ender-upgrade it. The pack allows this, and the upgraded terminal gains a tab showing your ender chest contents. Ender particles on upgraded terminals are turned off in the pack.[4][5]

Crafting jobs

The storage terminal can also craft. You can order the list by what is stored or what is craftable: both with craftable last, both with craftable first, craftable only, or storage only. Starting a job makes the terminal calculate a crafting plan first. The plan is labelled Valid, Running, Incomplete, Insufficient Crafting Interfaces, or Recursive recipe detected when a recipe loops back on itself.[4]

The job screen lets you cancel one job or all jobs. It shows the channel, the owner, the progress and a duration estimate. If the estimate shows "?", the crafting interfaces have not crafted those recipes before. The Notify option shows a toast when your job finishes, and the pack has job-finished toasts enabled. The jobs screen refreshes every 1000 milliseconds.[4][5]

Each job in a plan has one of these statuses:[4]

  • Valid: not started yet.[4]
  • Queueing: waiting for other jobs to finish.[4]
  • Pending Dependencies: waiting for dependencies to finish.[4]
  • Pending Inputs: missing input ingredients.[4]
  • Crafting: the job has started and is waiting for outputs.[4]
  • Storage Full: crafting results cannot be inserted into the storage network.[4]
  • Recipe Not Allowed: the recipe inputs could not be inserted into the crafting target.[4]
  • Invalid: storage ingredients are missing.[4]
  • Finished: the job completed and the outputs have been received.[4]
  • Error: an unknown error.[4]

You can view a plan as a tree or in a compact view. The pack defaults to the compact view. A tree plan with more than 64 leaves is no longer sent to the client.[4][5]

Watch out: Multithreading for the crafting planners is switched off in the pack. The config comment warns that enabling it is unsafe and will cause some jobs to fail, so leave core.general.craftingPlannerEnableMultithreading alone. Separately, core.general.craftingPlannerThreads is set to 2, which is the number of threads the plan calculator can use.[5]

The crafting grid

The terminal's crafting grid has an auto-refill mode that refills the grid after you craft. The modes are Disabled, Player, Player then Network, Network, and Network then Player. A balance button spreads equal items evenly over the slots. Another button clears the grid into storage, and shift-clicking it clears into your inventory instead.[4]

In the pack, shift-clicking the crafting result slot is not limited to a single result. The search box and button states are shared between the item storage and crafting tabs.[5]

The compat module covers auto-crafting from a recipe viewer. In the pack, ingredients crafted that way move into the crafting grid when their job completes. The grid stops waiting after 600 seconds.[6]

Power use and network load

The pack sets the base energy usage to 1 for the crafting terminal (general.general.terminalCraftingBaseConsumption) and 2 for the storage terminal (general.general.terminalStorageBaseConsumption).[5]

Terminal data goes out in packets. The pack limits a single packet to 512 storage instances and 128 crafting recipes. Packet serialization and deserialization both run in separate threads.[5]

Tip: If you hit packet overflows, the config comments say to reduce core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxInstances and core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxRecipes.[5]

Unverified The recipe dump lists no item inputs for these recipes, so the pack's ingredient requirements and any tier order between these items could not be confirmed here. The pack's quests are also not confirmed to guide you through this mod, so check the recipe viewer in-game for the exact ingredients. This site does hold FTB Evolution 2's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

How does IntegratedTerminals work with other mods?

Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide

The only cross-mod connection I can confirm for IntegratedTerminals in this pack is with Integrated Dynamics. Both Chorus Glass and Menril Glass have recipes that run in Integrated Dynamics machines.[3]

Glass in the drying basin

The drying basin recipe for Chorus Glass involves Liquid Chorus, and the one for Menril Glass involves Menril Resin. The recipe blocks below show the exact in-pack versions.[3]

Which IntegratedTerminals config options matter?

6 parts

IntegratedTerminals has a lot of options, but only a handful change how the terminals feel in play. Here is what the pack sets for them. The values below are the pack's own.[5]

Crafting planner

Crafting grid auto-fill

The compat config controls what happens when you auto-craft ingredients from a recipe viewer. core.general.craftingGridAutoFillOnCraftingJobCompletion is true, so those ingredients are moved into the crafting grid once the job completes. core.general.craftingGridAutoFillTimeoutSeconds is 600, which is how many seconds the grid waits on those ingredients before it stops waiting.[6]
