IntegratedTerminals is a mod in All the Mods 11 0.12.0-beta, where it is version 1.10.0. Terminals for managing and overviewing Integrated Dynamics networks. (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)

What is IntegratedTerminals?

Same as in the All the Mods - Gravitas 4.0 guide

IntegratedTerminals is part of the pack. The pack ships version 1.4.9, built for Minecraft 1.18.2 (file IntegratedTerminals-1.18.2-1.4.9.jar). The pack's mod list shows it was already included in this pack or an earlier version, so it isn't a recent addition.[1]

Unverified I don't have a guidebook, platform description or quest data for this mod, so I can't confirm what it does in this pack, who it suits, or where it fits in the progression. The mod also isn't on the ATM Star path and no quests in this pack involve it. Check back once more details are available, and don't assume any recipes, configs or mechanics until then.

How do you get started with IntegratedTerminals?

3 parts

IntegratedTerminals is an extension to Integrated Dynamics. It gives you terminals to manage and overview your Integrated Dynamics networks. The main one is the Storage Terminal, which lets you interact with your storage networks, such as attached Energy Batteries.[2]

Step 1: Make Menril Glass

Before you can craft the Storage Terminal, you need a special self-illuminating glass called Menril Glass. You make it in a Drying Basin, by drying Menril Resin onto Glass. Get this done first, because the terminal recipe depends on it.[2]

Step 2: Craft the Storage Terminal

Your first real terminal is the Part Terminal Storage. Here is the exact in-pack recipe:[3]

Once it is crafted, open its GUI to browse your network. The mod tracks both of these as advancements, so you can check them off as you go. Inside the GUI you can set the size of the storage grid, choose how items and fluids are sorted, and save your current settings as the default for new terminals.[2]

If you want to upgrade it later, right-click a Storage Terminal with an Eye of Ender. The mod calls this an ender upgrade.[2]

Step 3: Optional extras

The Portable Storage Terminal has its own recipe in the pack:[3]

The Part Terminal Crafting Job is the Crafting Job Terminal. It shows every running crafting job in the network and lets you cancel them. For each job you can see the remaining sub-jobs, status, duration, owner and channel.[2][3]

Tip: The Crafting Job Terminal only matters if you have an autocrafting mod such as Integrated Crafting installed. Without one, there are no crafting jobs for it to show, so you can skip it until you set up autocrafting.[2]

Unverified What the Portable Storage Terminal does compared with the Storage Terminal, and whether Integrated Crafting is included in this pack, could not be confirmed from the available sources. No quests in the pack involve this mod.

How does IntegratedTerminals work?

7 parts

Integrated Terminals is an extension to Integrated Dynamics. It adds terminals for managing and getting an overview of your Integrated Dynamics networks. There are two main parts: the Storage Terminal, which you use to work with the storage in a network, and the Crafting Job Terminal, which tracks autocrafting jobs.[2]

The Storage Terminal

The Storage Terminal is a part you place on a cable. It gives you a GUI for managing storage in the attached network. It can interact with storage networks such as attached Energy Batteries. If other mods add storage capabilities, like the item and fluid capabilities from Integrated Tunnels, you can interact with those too.[2]

The mod's own guide says you first need Menril Glass, a self-illuminating glass you make in a Drying Basin. It also mentions Chorus Glass, which entities can pass through. The block below shows the exact in-pack recipe for the part.[2]

The terminals draw energy to run. In this pack the base usage is 2 for general.general.terminalStorageBaseConsumption on the storage terminal and 1 for general.general.terminalCraftingBaseConsumption on the crafting terminal.[4]

Ender upgrade

Right-click a Storage Terminal with an Eye of Ender to ender-upgrade it. It gains an extra Ender Storage tab showing the contents of your personal Ender Chest. You can insert and extract items there like a normal Ender Chest, including by shift-clicking.[2]

The Ender Chest belongs to you, not to the network. So that tab has no channel selector, no search field and no Variable filter slots. Breaking an ender-upgraded terminal gives you the Eye of Ender back.[2]

Upgraded terminals can emit ender particles so you can tell them apart. This is an option in the server-side config and is off by default.[2]

Portable Storage Terminal

You make the portable variant by attaching Crystalized Menril Chunks to a Storage Terminal. To link it to a network, the network needs an Omni-Directional Connector. Right-click the connector with the portable terminal to link it. You can also set a hotkey that opens the first Portable Storage Terminal in your inventory.[2]

A Portable Storage Terminal can be ender-upgraded too. Combine it with an Eye of Ender in a crafting grid, and it keeps the network it was linked to.[2]

Power-user features

  • The Storage Terminal has hotkeys for selecting the search field, browsing tabs, clearing the crafting grid and balancing crafting grid slots.[2]
  • With JEI installed, you can use JEI's recipe shift-clicking to quickly fill the crafting grid. The configured auto-refill source decides where the items come from. You can also sync the JEI and terminal search fields.[2]
  • You can insert your own Predicates through Variable Cards for custom filtering. They must take the ingredient type as input and output a Boolean.[2]
  • The crafting grid has buttons to refill automatically after crafting and to spread equal items evenly over slots. Shift-clicking the clear button clears the grid into your inventory.[2]
  • Sorting options include internal registry ID and quantity, by stack size for items or by mB for fluids.[2]

Autocrafting from the terminal

Watch out: Autocrafting only works if the network has an autocrafting mod such as Integrated Crafting installed and contains crafting recipes.[2]
  1. Find the recipe in its tab and channel in the Storage Terminal, then click it.[2]
  2. Choose how many times the recipe should run.[2]
  3. Review the crafting plan, which lists all required or missing ingredients.[2]
  4. Start the job. Running jobs appear in the Crafting Job Terminal.[2]

Shift-click a recipe to skip the amount screen and go straight to the plan overview. Ingredients being produced by a running job get a spinner in the Storage Terminal. The spinner's color shows the job status, and hovering shows the status and the quantity still being crafted.[2]

Crafting Job Terminal

The Crafting Job Terminal lets you see and cancel all running crafting jobs in the network. Opening it shows a list of jobs. Click one for a detailed view with remaining sub-jobs, status, duration, owner and channel. Hovering a sub-job gives more detail on its status.[2]

The Part Terminal Crafting Job recipe as used in this pack.

The GUI describes these job states:[2]

  • Queueing: waiting for other jobs to finish.[2]
  • Pending dependencies: waiting for dependencies to finish.[2]
  • Pending inputs: missing input ingredients.[2]
  • Crafting: the job has started and is waiting for outputs.[2]
  • Finished: the job is complete and the outputs have been received.[2]
  • Invalid: storage ingredients are missing. Invalid inputs means the recipe inputs could not be inserted into the crafting target.[2]

Duration estimates appear as a per-craft time. If the crafting interfaces have never crafted a recipe, the duration is shown as unknown. You can also have a toast notification when a crafting job completes.[2]

Pack configuration

These are the values this pack sets in the common config file. First, the quantities used when you click on things in the storage terminal.[4]

For the crafting planner, core.general.craftingPlannerEnableMultithreading is false, and core.general.craftingPlannerThreads is 2. Plans default to the flattened view because core.general.terminalStorageDefaultToCraftingPlanTree is false. A tree plan with more than 64 leaves, set by core.general.terminalStorageMaxTreePlanSize, is not sent to the client.[4]

Packet limits are 512 terminal storage instances and 128 crafting recipes per packet, from core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxInstances and core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxRecipes. The config says to reduce them if you get packet overflows. Packet serialization and deserialization both use separate threads. The crafting jobs GUI refreshes every 1,000 milliseconds, set by machine.general.guiTerminalCraftingJobsUpdateFrequency.[4]

The storage terminal grid size is set by these options:[4]

general.general.syncItemStorageAndCraftingTabStates is true, so search box and button states stay in sync between the item storage and crafting tabs. general.general.shiftClickCraftingResultLimit is false.[4]

How do you progress through IntegratedTerminals?

3 parts

The sources for this pack only confirm a few crafting recipes for IntegratedTerminals, so this section is short. Each of these is a standard shaped crafting recipe from the mod, and the site shows the exact in-pack version below.[3]

Unverified The recipe dump lists no item inputs for these recipes, so the pack's ingredient requirements and any tier order between these items could not be confirmed here. The pack's quests are also not confirmed to guide you through this mod, so check the recipe viewer in-game for the exact ingredients. This site does hold All the Mods 11's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

How does IntegratedTerminals work with other mods?

2 parts

The only cross-mod connection I can confirm for IntegratedTerminals in this pack is with Integrated Dynamics. Both Chorus Glass and Menril Glass have recipes that run in Integrated Dynamics machines.[3]

Glass in the drying basin

The drying basin recipe for Chorus Glass involves Liquid Chorus, and the one for Menril Glass involves Menril Resin. The recipe blocks below show the exact in-pack versions.[3]

Which IntegratedTerminals config options matter?

5 parts

IntegratedTerminals keeps its settings in config/integratedterminals-common.toml. Below are the values this pack sets for the options you're most likely to touch.[4]

Crafting planner and performance

Packet limits

If you hit packet overflows, lower these options. core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxInstances is 512 and caps how many terminal storage instances go in a single packet. core.general.terminalStoragePacketMaxRecipes is 128 and caps the crafting recipes in a single packet.[4]

Terminal layout

The storage terminal scales with your screen. The small layout is 9 columns by 5 rows (general.general.guiStorageScaleSmallColumns, general.general.guiStorageScaleSmallRows). Medium is 10 by 7 (general.general.guiStorageScaleMediumColumns, general.general.guiStorageScaleMediumRows). Large is 11 by 9 (general.general.guiStorageScaleLargeColumns, general.general.guiStorageScaleLargeRows).[4]

When scaling, the terminal can grow to at most 32 columns (general.general.guiStorageScaleMaxColumns) and 20 rows (general.general.guiStorageScaleMaxRows). The height-based scale uses 9 columns (general.general.guiStorageScaleHeightColumns) and the width-based scale uses 5 rows (general.general.guiStorageScaleWidthRows).[4]

Click quantities and refresh rate

Clicking an item in the storage terminal selects 64 (machine.general.guiStorageItemInitialQuantity), and right-clicking removes 1 at a time (machine.general.guiStorageItemIncrementalQuantity). For fluids, the initial selection is 100,000 (machine.general.guiStorageFluidInitialQuantity) and right-clicking removes 1,000 (machine.general.guiStorageFluidIncrementalQuantity). Energy uses the same numbers: 100,000 initially (machine.general.guiStorageEnergyInitialQuantity) and 1,000 per right-click (machine.general.guiStorageEnergyIncrementalQuantity).[4]

The crafting jobs GUI updates every 1,000 milliseconds (machine.general.guiTerminalCraftingJobsUpdateFrequency).[4]
