What is Reliquary Reincarnations?

Same as in the All the Mods 10 5.5 guide

Reliquary Reincarnations is part of this pack, which ships version 2.0.65 of the mod built for Minecraft 1.21.1. It isn't a new addition either: it has been in the pack since an early release.[1]

Unverified No confirmed details are available yet on what the mod adds, who it's aimed at, or how it fits into the pack's progression, so those parts of the overview are on hold until they can be checked.

How do you get started with Reliquary Reincarnations?

3 parts

Reliquary Reincarnations has a lot of gadgets, and you can craft the early ones in the regular crafting grid. The recipe blocks below show the exact in-pack recipes, so you don't have to guess. Here is the order I'd go in, starting with the tools that unlock the most.[2]

Potion tools: Mortar and Cauldron

Start with the Apothecary Mortar, which is used to grind ingredients into potion essence. Then make the Apothecary Cauldron, which is used to brew potions from potion essence.[2][3]

How does Reliquary Reincarnations work?

6 parts

Reliquary is mostly about gadgets and a few placed blocks that each do one job. The behaviors below are what the mod's tooltips and descriptions currently say in this version. This section walks through the blocks that process things, then the item mechanics that work like small bits of automation.[3]

Unverified No config files for this mod are available in the pack sources, so any tunable values (costs, rates, ranges) are unverified here. Only the behaviors described below are confirmed.

Altar of Light and the Tome of Alkahestry

According to the current description, the Altar of Light turns redstone into glowstone. Right-click it with redstone until it activates, and after some time a glowstone block appears on top of it. It needs direct sunlight to work.[2][3]

Crafting Shapeless

  • Nebulous Heart

The Tome of Alkahestry is the other half of this system. Shift + Right-Click to activate it, and while it's active it absorbs any redstone and glowstone in your inventory. It uses its charge when you put it in a crafting grid with certain items to duplicate them for a cost. You can also transform the glowstone back into redstone, hopefully for a profit.[2][3]

Crafting Shapeless

  • Molten Core

  • Eye Of The Storm
  • Catalyzing Gland

Potion brewing: Mortar and Cauldron

Reliquary has its own potion process, and it works in two steps. First you grind ingredients in the Apothecary Mortar to make potion essence. You can combine multiple ingredients in the mortar.[2][3]

Then, as the current description puts it, the essences go into the Apothecary Cauldron together with nether wart. To start it you need a lit fire underneath and water inside. You also need empty potion vials to get the finished potion out of the cauldron.[2][3]

Placed blocks that do a job

  • The Pedestal is currently described only as automating things placed in it, so the sources don't say exactly what it does. The Passive Pedestal is currently described as a fancy display for items.[3]
  • The Fertile Lily Pad is currently described as speeding up crop growth.[3]
  • The Interdiction Torch is currently described as repelling creatures and projectiles.[2][3]
  • The Wraith Node is currently described as a destination for the Ender Staff in wraith node mode.[3]

Ender Staff modes

The Ender Staff uses ender pearls to let you teleport around. Hold Shift and scroll to cycle through its modes: Cast, Long Cast, Node Warp and Bind. Its tooltip shows the position it's currently bound to, or says it's bound to nowhere.[3]

Handgun and ammo

The Hunter's Handgun currently reads: right-click fires, hold to reload. The descriptions also say that firing leaves you with empty casings. The different shots change how it behaves.[2][3]

  • Neutral Shot: currently described as basic shots that deal solid damage and are relatively inexpensive.[2][3]
  • Seeker Shot: currently described as chasing down enemies, so you can't really miss.[2][3]
  • Ender Shot: currently described as chasing enemies and having piercing, so one shot can hurt multiple enemies.[2][3]
  • Exorcism Shot: currently described as dealing heavy damage to undead enemies.[2][3]
  • Blaze Shot: currently described as spawning fire on hit, but useless against fire-immune enemies.[2][3]
  • Concussive Shot: currently described as very strong, with a small explosion on impact.[2][3]
  • Buster Shot: currently described as causing a TNT-sized explosion on impact that also damages terrain.[2][3]
  • Sand Shot: currently described as causing blindness and making creepers explode instantly. It is weakened in rain.[2][3]
  • Storm Shot: currently described as super-charging creepers and dealing extra damage during rain, and even more during a thunderstorm.[2][3]

Utility items worth knowing

  • Coin of Fortune: per its current tooltip, Shift + Right-click to activate it and draw in items and XP. Hold Right-click to super-vacuum.[2][3]
  • Hero's Medallion: currently described as storing experience for you, and Right-click reclaims levels. Shift + scroll changes how many levels you take out.[2][3]
  • Emperor's Chalice: currently described as an infinite water bucket. Enable it to drain water and disable it to place water. Drinking from it restores hunger in exchange for life.[2][3]
  • Infernal Chalice: currently described as storing lava and protecting you from lava damage.[2][3]
  • Harvest Rod: currently described as Right-click to fertilize, and it breaks crops in an area.[2][3]
  • Destruction Catalyst: currently described as consuming gunpowder to destroy blocks. Blocks destroyed this way leave no drops behind.[2][3]
  • Infernal Tear: currently described as burning items into experience.[2][3]
Watch out: Several protective items currently trade hunger for safety, per their tooltips. The Angelic Feather absorbs fall damage, the Infernal Claws absorb fire damage, and the Kraken Shell absorbs drowning damage, each at the expense of hunger. Keep food on you when you use them.[2][3]

How do you progress through Reliquary Reincarnations?

2 parts

Here's the honest picture for this pack: I can't give you a confirmed tier-by-tier progression for this mod. The recipe data I have lists every recipe's type and result, but not the ingredients, so I can't say what gates what. I won't guess at an order and risk sending you the wrong way.[2]

What the recipes do tell you

Nearly everything in this mod is made at a crafting table in this pack. That includes the Altar of Light, the Tome of Alkahestry, the Apothecary Cauldron, the Apothecary Mortar and the Hunter's Handgun. Some are shaped recipes and some are shapeless, so check the in-game recipe viewer for the exact layout of each one.[2]

Many gear pieces have their own crafting recipes, not just the finished tools. Examples are the Barrel Assembly, the Grip Assembly, the Hammer Assembly, the Empty Magazine and the shot types such as Neutral Shot. The data doesn't show how these connect to one another, so I can't tell you which one to build first.[2]

The one pack-specific change I can confirm

The Lilypad of Fertility is obtained through a Mystical Agriculture awakening recipe that the pack adds, so it is not a normal crafting-table item here. Here is the in-pack recipe.[2]

Lilypad of FertilityAdded by the pack

Awakening (mysticalagriculture)

    Recipe id: allthemods:mysticalagriculture/awakening/fertile_lily_pad

Unverified I found no quests in this pack that involve this mod, and it doesn't appear to be on the ATM Star quest path, so there is no quest-guided tier order to follow. I also found no in-jar guidebook to confirm an intended progression order. Treat any specific tier order as unconfirmed until you've checked the recipes in game.
