Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter in All the Mods 11

Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter adds a wireless transmitter with infinite range across all dimensions. If you've ever been annoyed by range limits or by being in a different dimension from your base, this block is meant to remove that problem.^[1]

It also comes in color variants, like every other block in Refined Storage. That makes it a good fit if you like keeping your setup tidy and color-coded.^[1]

In this pack

The pack includes version 1.21.1-0.1.5 of the mod, built for NeoForge. It has been in the pack since version 2.44 or earlier, so it's a long-standing part of the mod list.^[2]

Unverified The sources I have don't show any quests that involve this mod, and they don't place it on the ATM Star path. I also couldn't confirm the in-pack recipe, so check the recipe viewer in-game before planning around it. Good news: there's really only one item to think about here. The Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter provides wireless network access for items like the Wireless Grid, and it has infinite range and is cross-dimensional. That means distance and dimension are not something you need to plan around.^[1][3]

Pick a color (optional)

The transmitter has color variants like every other block in Refined Storage, for example Red Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter and Blue Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter. In this pack, each color has its own recoloring recipe that uses the Refined Storage recoloring recipe type.^[1][4]

The mod has a configuration section for the transmitter with an energy usage option.^[3]

The Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter is a single block, not a multiblock, so the mechanics are short. It provides wireless network access for items like the Wireless Grid. It has infinite range and works across dimensions.^[3]

The mod page describes it the same way: one transmitter with infinite range across all dimensions. Its in-game screen shows the range as "Infinite range". The mod's advancement asks you to transmit a network signal cross-dimensionally with infinite range.^[1][3]

Where it fits in your storage setup

The mod page says the transmitter has colour variants like every other block in Refined Storage. Its job is to give wireless devices such as the Wireless Grid access to your network, with no range limit and no dimension limit.^[1][3]

Colour variants

Besides the base transmitter, there is a coloured version for each of the other colours. The mod groups all of them in one item tag, so anything that accepts the tag accepts any colour.^[6]

You change colours with Refined Storage's recolouring recipes, and there is one for each colour. The light blue recolouring recipe gives you the plain Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter.^[5]

Breaking and moving it

When you break a transmitter, it drops itself. The loot table also copies the custom name from the block, so a transmitter you renamed keeps its name when you pick it up. The coloured variants have their own loot tables built the same way.^[7][8]

Power use

The mod has an energy usage option for the transmitter.^[3]

Unverified The mod's language file confirms that the transmitter's energy usage can be configured, but the sources here do not show the value this pack uses. No config file for this mod is available to check, so the actual energy cost is not confirmed.

Good news: there is no tier ladder to climb with this mod. What the pack's data shows is one base item, Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter, plus a set of colour variants of it. That makes this a short progression page.^[5]

There is also a light blue recolouring recipe, and its result is the plain Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter. So recolouring to light blue gives you the base item.^[5]

The colour variants I could check drop themselves when broken, the same as the base block: black, blue, brown, cyan, gray, green, light gray and lime.^{[8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]}

Unverified The sources here do not show where the pack's quest book places this mod, or whether any quest chapter mentions it. If you want to know when the pack expects you to use it, check the quest book in game.

There isn't much history to cover for Interdimensional Wireless Transmitter in this pack. All the Mods 11 0.10.0-beta ships version 26.1.2-1.0.1 of the mod, and it has been in the pack since 0.5.0-beta or earlier.^[16]
