What is Structurize?
Structurize is included in this pack as version 1.0.832-1.21.1. It has been in the pack since version 2.25 of the pack's earlier releases or before, so it isn't a recent addition.[1]
That's all I can confirm about it for now. I have no in-pack documentation, quest, recipe or config data for Structurize, so I can't tell you how it plays here or what its progression role is.[1]
Unverified What Structurize does in gameplay, who it is best suited to, and where it fits in the pack's progression are not confirmed by the available sources. No quests, recipes or configs for it were provided, and it was not shown to be on the ATM Star path.
How do you get started with Structurize?
4 parts
Structurize gives you a set of tools for placing and scanning blueprints, plus a few placeholder blocks. Every item below has a crafting recipe in this pack, so you can start right away. Here is the order I'd go in.[2]
Step one: the Build Tool
Start with the Build Tool. It's the tool the game refers to as the Buildtool when it positions a blueprint on the floor, and some blueprints, like Integrated Buildings or Mineshafts, are hidden from it. The pack uses the mod's own recipe for it.[2][3]

Once a preview is out, use the arrow buttons on the right (or your configured keys) to move it around. You can exit with Esc to reposition, then right click again to re-enter. If you place something you don't like, the list of recent operations lets you click the left arrow to undo and the right arrow to redo.[3]
Step two: the Scan Tool
Next, make the Scan Tool. The pack changed this recipe, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults. Its screen includes a placeholder filler function for the top parts of a schematic, which helps schematics fit more naturally into their environment.[2][3]

Step three: Shape Tool and Calipers
The Shape Tool also has a recipe changed by the pack. Its recipe id uses the minecolonies namespace, so look for that id if you search recipes. The Calipers uses the mod's own recipe.[2]

Step four: placeholder blocks
Last come three placeholder blocks: the Placeholder Block, the Solid Placeholder and the Fluid Placeholder. The pack changed the recipes for the Placeholder Block and the Solid Placeholder. The Fluid Placeholder uses the mod's own recipe.[2]

Unverified The sources here do not show exactly what the Shape Tool, the Calipers and the three placeholder blocks do in this pack. No in-game guidebook was found for the mod, and no quests in this pack involve it, so check these items in-game before relying on specific behavior.
How does Structurize work?
5 parts
Structurize's mechanics in this pack are about its building tools and their screens, so that is what this section covers.[3]
Positioning a preview
When you have a preview in the world, you can move it with the arrow buttons on the right of the screen or with the configured keys. You can leave the screen with Esc, reposition, then right click again to re-enter.[3]
Two blueprint tags affect how the Build Tool handles a blueprint. The ground level tag is used by the Build Tool to position the blueprint on the floor. The invisible tag hides a blueprint in the Build Tool, for things like integrated buildings or mineshafts.[2][3]
Placement order
The mod offers several placement iterators, which control the order blocks go down in. Each has its own tooltip:[3]
- Default: row by row block placement.[3]
- Hilbert: mathematical proximity based block placement.[3]
- Inward circle: placement in a circle, starting from the outside.[3]
- Inward circle with height 1 to 4: the same circle placement, but outer rows can be placed up to 1, 2, 3 or 4 higher.[3]
- Random: places blocks in the x/z plane in a random order.[3]
Undo and redo
There is a list of recent operations. Click the left arrow on an entry to undo it and the right arrow to redo it.[3]
Placeholders and the filler function
The pack's placeholder blocks are the Placeholder Block, the Solid Placeholder and the Fluid Placeholder.[2]
The Scan Tool screen has a placeholder filler function. It fills the top parts of a schematic with placeholders so the schematic fits more naturally into its environment. It has four adjustable settings:[2][3]
- Minimum distance: how far placeholders stay away from existing blocks. It is additive, for example 2.[3]
- Height offset: shifts the y-limit that placeholders generate up to. It is additive, for example -1.[3]
- Radius: grows or shrinks the excluded center circle. It is multiplicative, for example 0.5.[3]
- Y stretch: grows or shrinks the height of that excluded center circle. It is multiplicative, for example 1.5.[3]
In the scan tool's item list, you can click an entry to highlight those blocks in the world. The replace block screen asks you to select the replacement block.[3]
Crafting the tools
The pack changes several recipes here. The Scan Tool, Placeholder Block and Solid Placeholder recipes are marked as changed by the pack, as is the Shape Tool recipe. The Build Tool, Calipers and Fluid Placeholder use the mod's own recipes.[2]

How do you progress through Structurize?
2 parts
In this pack, the recipe data shows Structurize items as plain shaped crafting recipes. Nothing in these sources links them into a step-by-step tier ladder, so I'll split the items by whether the pack changed their recipe.[2]
Unverified The sources here do not show any quest involving Structurize, or a place for it on the quest path. If you want to know whether the quest book mentions it, check the quest book in the pack itself.
Recipes the pack leaves at the mod's version
The Build Tool (Build Tool) uses the mod's own recipe, so the pack didn't touch it.[2]

How does Structurize work with other mods?
4 parts
The Build Tool (the Build Tool) is a crafting ingredient in a huge number of recipes from other mods. In this pack's recipe dump, every one of those recipes belongs to MineColonies or Advanced Peripherals. If you plan to build a colony, you will be crafting this tool a lot.[2]
MineColonies: huts and utility blocks
Every MineColonies hut recipe in the dump uses the Build Tool. That includes the Town Hall, the Builder's Hut, the Residence, the Warehouse and the Guard Tower. The same goes for other colony blocks such as the Postbox, the Stash and the Colony Sign.[2]

The Town Hall is the simplest example: it takes just the Build Tool and planks.
The Courier's Hut, the Farm, the Forester's Hut and the Mine each have an alternative recipe that swaps the wooden or leather item for a stone or iron one. Both versions still need the Build Tool.[2]
MineColonies: tools and accessories
- The Golden Builder's Assistant Hammer is crafted from the Build Tool, a stick and gold ingots, and the recipe is the mod's own.[2]
- The Clipboard, Resource Scroll, Quest Log and Colony Map all use the Build Tool in their recipes.[2]
- The Colony Flag Banner also uses the Build Tool.[2]
- The Builder's Goggles recipe has been changed by the pack and still takes the Build Tool.[2]
- The Spear recipe has been changed by the pack and still takes the Build Tool.[2]
Recipes the pack changed
The pack has altered several Build Tool recipes compared with the mod's own versions. These are the Compost Barrel, Barracks, Blacksmith's Hut, Crusher, Mechanic's Hut, Mystical Site, Plantation Field, Smeltery and Rack.[2]
There is also a chain to watch. The Composter's Hut needs a Compost Barrel, and that barrel itself needs a Build Tool. So each Composter's Hut costs you a Build Tool of its own plus the one inside the barrel.[2]
Advanced Peripherals: the Colony Integrator
The Colony Integrator is where Structurize, MineColonies and Advanced Peripherals meet. The pack has changed this recipe. It uses the Peripheral Casing, a Rack, the Builder's Goggles and the Build Tool directly. The Rack and the Goggles each need a Build Tool of their own, so this chain pulls in extra Build Tools.[2]

What changed in Structurize between versions?
All the Mods 10 8.1 ships Structurize 1.0.832-1.21.1. The mod has been in the pack since 2.25 or earlier, so it's a long-time resident.[1]
The pack changelogs only record version bumps for Structurize, so what follows is the trail of builds, newest first, for the pack releases where the build changed (2.36 up to 8.0). Many of the builds are marked snapshot, and the pack moved between snapshot and non-snapshot builds along the way.[4][5][6][7]
- 8.0: 1.0.832-1.21.1-snapshot to 1.0.832-1.21.1. The build number stays the same, but the pack switches from the snapshot build to the regular one, and 8.1 keeps it.[1][4]
- 7.2: 1.0.831-1.21.1 to 1.0.832-1.21.1-snapshot.[5]
- 7.1: 1.0.823-1.21.1-snapshot to 1.0.831-1.21.1.[6]
