What is Structurize?
Structurize is included in this pack as version 1.0.758-1.21.1-snapshot, shipped as the file structurize-1.0.758-1.21.1-snapshot.jar. It has been part of the pack since version 0.57 or earlier, so it's a long-standing member of the mod list rather than a recent addition.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm from the available sources what Structurize does in this pack, who it is aimed at, or where it fits in progression. No in-jar guidebook was found and no platform description is stored for it, so I'm not going to guess at its features, recipes or configs.
Unverified I found no quests in this pack that involve Structurize, and it is not on the ATM Star quest path. That means you shouldn't expect it to gate or unlock anything in the questbook.
How do you get started with Structurize?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Structurize gives you a set of tools for placing and scanning blueprints, plus a few placeholder blocks. Every item below has a crafting recipe in this pack, so you can start right away. Here is the order I'd go in.[2]
Step one: the Build Tool
Start with the Build Tool. It's the tool the game refers to as the Buildtool when it positions a blueprint on the floor, and some blueprints, like Integrated Buildings or Mineshafts, are hidden from it. The pack uses the mod's own recipe for it.[2][3]

This is the mod's own recipe, not changed by the pack.
Once a preview is out, use the arrow buttons on the right (or your configured keys) to move it around. You can exit with Esc to reposition, then right click again to re-enter. If you place something you don't like, the list of recent operations lets you click the left arrow to undo and the right arrow to redo.[3]
Step two: the Scan Tool
Next, make the Scan Tool. The pack changed this recipe, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults. Its screen includes a placeholder filler function for the top parts of a schematic, which helps schematics fit more naturally into their environment.[2][3]

Step three: Shape Tool and Calipers
The Shape Tool also has a recipe changed by the pack. Its recipe id uses the minecolonies namespace, so look for that id if you search recipes. The Calipers uses the mod's own recipe.[2]

Step four: placeholder blocks
Last come three placeholder blocks: the Placeholder Block, the Solid Placeholder and the Fluid Placeholder. The pack changed the recipes for the Placeholder Block and the Solid Placeholder. The Fluid Placeholder uses the mod's own recipe.[2]

Unverified The sources here do not show exactly what the Shape Tool, the Calipers and the three placeholder blocks do in this pack. No in-game guidebook was found for the mod, and no quests in this pack involve it, so check these items in-game before relying on specific behavior.
How does Structurize work?
6 parts
The sources for Structurize don't describe machines, power, fluids or automation. What they do explain is how the tools work: previews you move around, placeholders, the order blocks get placed in, and undo/redo. This section covers those.[4][5]
The tools
You get the Build Tool (Build Tool), the Scan Tool (Scan Tool), the Shape Tool (Shape Tool) and the Calipers (Calipers). The pack changes the Scan Tool and Shape Tool recipes, so don't rely on the mod's defaults for those.[6]

Moving previews and undoing mistakes
While a preview is up, use the arrow buttons on the right of the screen to move it, or use the configured keys. You can leave with Esc, reposition yourself, then right click again to re-enter.[4]
The undo/redo window lists your recent operations. Click the left arrow to undo one and the right arrow to redo it.[4]
Placeholders
The pack has Placeholder Block (Placeholder Block), Fluid Placeholder (Fluid Placeholder) and Solid Placeholder (Solid Placeholder). The recipes for the Placeholder Block and Solid Placeholder are changed by the pack, and the Fluid Placeholder uses the mod's recipe.[6]

In previews, placeholders show as normal blocks by default because blueprint.renderer.render_placeholders_nice is false in the pack. If you turn it on, the preview renders them like this: light placeholders show nothing, fluid placeholders (blue) show the dimension's default fluid, solid placeholders (brown) show the worldgen block, and tag placeholders (transparent) show the content block.[5]
Unverified The sources don't say which placeholder item matches which preview type, or what each item does once placed in the world, so check that in-game.
Fill placeholder function
The scan tool screen has a placeholder filler for the top parts of a schematic. It helps schematics fit more naturally into their environment. Its settings are:[4]
- Block distance sets the minimum distance placeholders keep from existing blocks. It is additive, for example 2.[4]
- Height offset shifts the y-limit that placeholders generate up to. It is additive, for example -1.[4]
- Radius grows or shrinks the excluded center circle. It is multiplicative, for example 0.5.[4]
- Y-stretch grows or shrinks the height of that excluded center circle. It is multiplicative, for example 1.5.[4]
Placement order
Structurize has several iterators that control the order blocks are placed in:[4]
- Default places blocks row by row.[4]
- Hilbert places blocks based on mathematical proximity.[4]
- Random places blocks in the x/z plane in a random order.[4]
- Inward circle places blocks in a circle starting from the outside.[4]
- Inward circle height 1 to 4 works the same way but places the outer rows up to 1, 2, 3 or 4 higher.[4]
Preview rendering settings
The client config sets how previews look. blueprint.renderer.light_level is 15 in the pack, which is also the mod default. The range is -1 to 15: -1 follows the current vanilla world light, and 0 to 15 is a fixed light level from minimum to maximum.[5]
blueprint.renderer.transparency is -1 in the pack, which means disabled. Values from 0 (transparent) to 1 (opaque) turn it on. It's marked as an alpha feature, so reported bugs may not get fixed.[5]
The client config also has options for sharing previews with other players, and both are off in the pack. blueprint.renderer.share_previews sends most of your active previews to nearby players. blueprint.renderer.see_shared_previews lets you see previews from other players within a sensible distance.[5]
How do you progress through Structurize?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
In this pack, the recipe data shows Structurize items as plain shaped crafting recipes. Nothing in these sources links them into a step-by-step tier ladder, so I'll split the items by whether the pack changed their recipe.[2]
Unverified The sources here do not show any quest involving Structurize, or a place for it on the quest path. If you want to know whether the quest book mentions it, check the quest book in the pack itself.
Recipes the pack leaves at the mod's version
The Build Tool (Build Tool) uses the mod's own recipe, so the pack didn't touch it.[2]

How does Structurize work with other mods?
4 parts
In this pack, Structurize connects to other mods through crafting. The Build Tool Build Tool is part of the recipe for MineColonies items, from hut blocks to the Clipboard and Quest Log. If you want to build a colony, you'll be crafting with the Build Tool a lot.[6]
Starting a colony
The Town Hall is the simplest recipe in the set. It's the Build Tool combined with one other basic material, and the pack leaves it as the mod's own recipe.[6]

Recipes the pack changed
Most of these recipes are the mod's own, but the pack changed several that include the Build Tool. Check the recipe viewer or the blocks below for the exact in-pack version, and don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults.[6]
- Compost Barrel[6]
- Barracks[6]
- Blacksmith's Hut[6]
- Crusher[6]
- Mechanic's Hut[6]
- Mystical Site[6]
- Plantation Field[6]
- Smeltery[6]
- Rack[6]
- Builder's Goggles[6]

Huts with more than one recipe
The Farm, Forester's Hut, Mine and Courier's Hut each have two recipes. Both versions use the Build Tool and make the same hut, and they differ only in the tool or armor piece they take.[6]
Other Build Tool recipes
The Build Tool is also used for colony utilities like the Clipboard, Quest Log, Resource Scroll and Colony Flag Banner. Storage blocks such as the Warehouse, Postbox and Stash use it as well.[6]
Unverified No quests in this pack involve Structurize, so there's no questline tying it to other mods. Whether the Build Tool is used up when you craft with it isn't confirmed here.
Which Structurize config options matter?
1 part
Structurize only exposes a handful of options that you will actually notice, and they are all client-side, in the blueprint preview renderer. The good news is that this pack leaves every one of them at the mod default, so nothing here has been changed from vanilla Structurize behavior.[5]
Blueprint preview renderer
- blueprint.renderer.light_level is set to 15, which is also the mod default. It accepts -1 to 15: -1 follows the light level of the current vanilla world, while 0 to 15 gives a static light level from minimum to maximum. At 15 you get the maximum static light level.[5]
- blueprint.renderer.transparency is set to -1, the mod default. The range is -1.0 to 1.0, where 0 is transparent and 1 is opaque. Negative values mean the feature is disabled. The option is marked as an alpha feature, and reported bugs may not get fixed, so treat it as experimental if you turn it on.[5]
- blueprint.renderer.render_placeholders_nice is false, the mod default. With it off, placeholders show up as normal blocks. If you enable it, the renderer draws them by type: any (light) as nothing, fluid (blue) as the dimension's default fluid, solid (brown) as the worldgen block, and tag (transparent) as the content block. Fluid and solid only work properly in singleplayer or for the LAN owner. Elsewhere it is just a best guess, and it currently does not auto-update.[5]
- blueprint.renderer.share_previews is false, the mod default. Turning it on sends most of your active previews to nearby players.[5]
- blueprint.renderer.see_shared_previews is false, the mod default. Turning it on lets you see previews from other players within a sensible distance.[5]
