What is Dyenamics?
Dyenamics is part of the pack's mod list. This pack ships version 1.21.1-3.4.1 (dyenamics-1.21.1-3.4.1.jar), and the mod has been in the pack since All the Mods 10 2.2 or earlier, so it's a long-standing inclusion.[1]
Unverified The sources I have don't describe what Dyenamics adds, its recipes or config options, or where it fits in the pack's progression. They also don't show it on the ATM Star path or tied to any quests, so I'm not making claims about any of that. This page will be expanded once in-pack details can be confirmed.
How do you get started with Dyenamics?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Dyenamics adds new dye colors, and the recipes for its colored blocks all ask for a dye of the matching color. So the plan is simple: make a dye first, then use it on everything else. Amber and Aquamarine are the colors whose recipes we can check for this pack, so we'll use Amber as the example.[2]
First: make a new dye
Start with Amber Dye. It is a shapeless crafting recipe, so the layout in the grid doesn't matter.[2]

Aquamarine Dye is crafted the same way (shapeless) and is a nice second color to try.[2]

- any cyan dye
- any blue dye

Next: turn it into wool
Wool is the most useful thing to make after the dye. Amber Wool is a shapeless recipe that takes your new dye plus wool. Carpets, banners and beds in that color are all built from this wool.[2]
Then: build from the wool
With colored wool in hand you can make Amber Carpet and Amber Banner.[2]

For Amber Bed, you can craft one from colored wool, or you can recolor a bed you already have with the matching dye.[2]

This shapeless recipe takes the matching dye and a bed you already have, so it is handy for recoloring.
Finally: use the dye directly
Some blocks skip the wool step and take the dye straight away: Amber Candle, Amber Concrete Powder, Amber Terracotta and Amber Stained Glass.[2]

For panes, you can craft Amber Stained Glass Pane from the stained glass block, or color a plain glass pane directly with the dye.[2]

How does Dyenamics work?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Here's the honest picture for Dyenamics in this pack: everything the sources show is plain crafting-table recipes. There are no machines, multiblocks, power, fluid or item-handling systems in the material I have, so this section covers how the dye and decoration chain works.[2]
Making the new dyes
Each new color starts as a dye you craft by mixing other dyes in a shapeless recipe. Amber Dye and Aquamarine Dye are the examples I can confirm. Amber mixes orange and persimmon dyes, and aquamarine mixes blue and cyan dyes.[2]
Crafting Shapeless
- any orange dye
- any persimmon dye

Crafting Shapeless

Recipe id: dyenamics:aquamarine_dye
The recipes ask for dyes by tag, not by a specific item. Any dye that carries the right color tag counts, so you aren't locked to a particular dye item.[2]
Turning dye into blocks
Wool is the hub of the chain. You combine the matching dye with any wool from the wool tag to get the colored wool, such as Amber Wool.[2]
From there, the colored wool feeds other recipes. A carpet is crafted straight from the matching wool, and a banner is crafted from the wool plus any wooden rod.[2]

Glass gives you a choice of routes to a stained pane. You can craft the stained glass block first, then craft panes from it. Or you can craft a pane directly from a plain glass pane and the dye, which saves a step.[2]

The remaining blocks combine a vanilla base block with the dye: terracotta, concrete powder and candles. Concrete powder also uses gravel and sand. Here are the amber versions.[2]

Which colors are covered
The sources show the full block set for amber and aquamarine. They also show wool and banners for these colors: bubblegum, cherenkov, conifer, fluorescent, honey, icy blue, lavender, maroon, mint, navy, peach, persimmon and rose. For example, you get Rose Wool and Rose Banner.[2]
How do you progress through Dyenamics?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
In this pack, Dyenamics progression is a crafting ladder rather than a chain of machines. You craft a new dye, turn it into colored wool, then use that dye or wool to make the other colored items.[2]
Unverified The sources here do not show any quests involving Dyenamics, and they do not place the mod on the ATM Star quest path. If the pack's quest book covers it, that detail lives in the quest chapters, which the sources here do not show.
Step 1: Craft the new dyes
Everything starts with a mod dye such as Amber Dye, Aquamarine Dye, Bubblegum Dye or Cherenkov Dye. Amber, Aquamarine and Bubblegum are each mixed from other dyes in a shapeless recipe. Cherenkov is the odd one out, because it needs an extra ingredient on top of its dyes.[2]

Step 2: Dye your wool
Wool is the hub of the mod. Combine a Dyenamics dye with any wool and you get the colored wool, for example Amber Wool. Carpets, banners and beds are then built from that wool.[2]
Shapeless: one matching dye plus any wool.
Step 3: Make the wool-based items
- Carpets such as Amber Carpet are crafted from the matching colored wool.[2]
- Banners such as Amber Banner use the matching colored wool plus any wooden rod.[2]
- Beds such as Amber Bed can be crafted from the colored wool plus any planks. There is also a shortcut: a matching Dyenamics dye combined with any existing bed gives you the colored bed.[2]

Step 4: Dye the building blocks directly
Some items skip the wool step and take the dye directly. Candles, concrete powder, terracotta and stained glass all follow that pattern, for example Amber Candle, Amber Concrete Powder, Amber Terracotta and Amber Stained Glass. Stained glass panes can be made either from the colored glass or by dyeing a regular glass pane.[2]

How does Dyenamics work with other mods?
3 parts
Dyenamics adds a lot of extra colors, and this pack ties them into other mods through recipes. In the recipe data, those links show up as Mystical Agriculture crafting for the dyes and concrete, plus a set of pack-added recipes that turn Dyenamics blocks into items from other mods.[3]
Mystical Agriculture
The pack changes how Dyenamics dyes are made. They use Mystical Agriculture recipes built around Dye Essence, and this covers every Dyenamics color in the recipe data, from Amber Dye to Wine Dye. Here is one example:[3]
Shaped No Mirror (cucumber)

Concrete is changed the same way. Each Dyenamics concrete powder is turned into its concrete with Water Essence, as in Amber Concrete. The recipe data marks all of these as changed by the pack.[3]

Dyenamics and Friends recipes
The pack adds a set of crafting recipes in a separate namespace that links Dyenamics blocks to other mods. The recipe data I have only shows these for Amber and Aquamarine, so other colors are not confirmed here for the items below.[3]
- Botany pots: Amber and Aquamarine terracotta, glazed terracotta and concrete can each become a colored botany pot, such as Amber Botany Pot. Each also has a hopper version, such as Amber Concrete Hopper Botany Pot.[3]
- Comforts: Amber and Aquamarine wool can be made into hammocks and sleeping bags, such as Amber Hammock and Aquamarine Sleeping Bag.[3]
- Create: Amber and Aquamarine wool can be made into colored seats, such as Amber Seat.[3]
- Elevators: Amber and Aquamarine wool can be made into colored elevators, such as Aquamarine Elevator.[3]

Connected glass
Connected glass has the widest coverage. Many Dyenamics stained glass blocks and panes can be turned into borderless, connecting versions, such as Connecting Mint Stained Glass and Connecting Navy Stained Glass Pane. The recipes in the data run from Amber through Persimmon. Rose, Spring Green, Ultramarine and Wine have no connecting glass recipe in the data.[3]

Unverified No quests in this pack involve Dyenamics, so there is no quest-based progression tied to these integrations.
Which All the Mods 10 quests use Dyenamics?
2 parts
Dyenamics has a single quest in the pack, "Dyenamics" quest, and it sits in the Building Tips chapter (90 quests in total). The chapter is a set of building and decoration tips rather than a progression line, so you can pick this one up whenever you like.[4]
Where it sits in the chapter
The path starts at "Building Tips!" quest, which leads to "Blocks!" quest. From there you reach "Colored Blocks" quest, whose text tells you to start with the dyes. The Dyenamics quest comes straight after that one.[4]
Several other quests also unlock after Colored Blocks, so Dyenamics is one of a group of colour-themed quests. These are "Painted Planks" quest, "Chipped Concrete" quest, "XyCraft World" quest, "Plastic Construction Bricks" quest, "Railcraft Colored Blocks" quest, "Chipped Wool" quest, "Chipped Terracotta" quest and "Luminax" quest.[4]
What the quest asks for
"Dyenamics" quest is a single item task. The quest text pitches the mod like this: if the 16 colors Minecraft gives you aren't enough, you can have 18 more. Those dyes work for the same items and blocks that Minecraft's own dyes do.[4]
The quest gives a few examples of what that means: a Peach Candle, a Bumblegum Shulker and a Fluorescent Bed.[4]
What changed in Dyenamics between versions?
Dyenamics has been part of All the Mods 10 since release 2.2 or earlier. All the Mods 10 4.14 ships version 1.21.1-3.4.1. Here is how the version has moved up through the pack's releases.[1]
- All the Mods 10 2.31: updated from 1.21.1-3.2.1 to 1.21.1-3.3.0.[5]
- All the Mods 10 2.43: updated from 1.21.1-3.3.0 to 1.21.1-3.3.1.[6]
- All the Mods 10 3.0: updated from 1.21.1-3.3.1 to 1.21.1-3.4.0.[7]
- All the Mods 10 4.0: updated from 1.21.1-3.4.0 to 1.21.1-3.4.1. This is the version you still get in 4.14.[1][8]
Since 4.0, the pack changelogs list no further Dyenamics updates. The jar in 4.14 is the same version that 4.0 introduced.[1][8]
Unverified The pack changelogs only record version bumps. What each Dyenamics update actually changed (new dyes, fixes, recipe or balance tweaks) is unverified, because no mod changelogs are stored for the shipped jars.
