What is Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals?

Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. Normally you only get two crafting crystals, and this mod expands that to five. The pack includes version 1.7.1 of it.[1][2]
For Minecraft 1.16 and newer, the five crystals are Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium.[1]
The recipes are nested. You can't skip straight to a higher crystal, because each tier needs the previous one crafted first. If you like a clear progression ladder in your farming, this is for you.[1]
Who it's for
It's for players who already use Mystical Agriculture and want a longer crystal progression, with more steps between the early crystals and Supremium.[1]
Things to know
- The Master Infusion Crystal requires a Supremium Infusion Crystal, whether or not Mystical Agradditions is installed.[1]
- If Mystical Agradditions is installed, the Master Infusion Crystal recipe uses Insanium instead of Supremium.[1]
- The config lets you set the durability of each crystal, and you can also turn durability on or off for the crystals.[1]
Unverified The sources don't show whether Mystical Agradditions is part of the pack, so it's unverified which Master Infusion Crystal recipe applies here. They also don't show any quests or an ATM Star path connection for this mod, so where it fits in the pack's progression is unverified.
How do you get started with Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals?

This mod adds five new crystals to Mystical Agriculture, instead of just two. The crystals in this pack are the Inferium Crystal, Prudentium Crystal, Tertium Crystal, Imperium Crystal and Supremium Crystal.[1][3]
The recipes are nested, so you can't skip ahead to a higher crystal. You have to craft each previous tier first, which means your first steps are working up the ladder in order.[1]

Start with the lowest tier. The Inferium Crystal is the base of the chain.[1]

Durability and tooltips
The mod has config options to set the durability of each crystal and to switch durability on or off for the crystals.[1][4]
There are also tooltip options. One makes crystals show a 'tier -> tier' upgrade line, and the other makes them show 'Uses Left'.[4]

This mod has no machines, multiblocks, power or fluid handling to worry about. It adds five crafting crystals to Mystical Agriculture, and everything interesting about how they work comes down to crafting order and durability.[1]
The five tiers
Instead of just two crystals, you get five: Inferium Crystal, Prudentium Crystal, Tertium Crystal, Imperium Crystal and Supremium Crystal.[1][5][6]

Durability
Each crystal has a number of uses, and the mod lets you turn durability on or off per crystal. In this pack every crystal has durability enabled, so they all wear out as you use them.[1][5][7]
The pack leaves the durability values at the mod defaults. These are the uses per crystal:[7]
- Inferium Crystal: 256 uses (durability.inferiumDurability)[6][7]
- Prudentium Crystal: 512 uses (durability.prudentiumDurability)[6][7]
- Tertium Crystal: 1,024 uses (durability.tertiumDurability)[6][7]
- Imperium Crystal: 2,048 uses (durability.imperiumDurability)[6][7]
- Supremium Crystal: 4,096 uses (durability.supremiumDurability)[6][7]
The on/off switches are durabilityEnabled.inferiumDurabilityEnabled, durabilityEnabled.prudentiumDurabilityEnabled, durabilityEnabled.tertiumDurabilityEnabled, durabilityEnabled.imperiumDurabilityEnabled and durabilityEnabled.supremiumDurabilityEnabled. All five are set to true here.[1][5][7]
The mod can also show 'Uses Left' and a 'tier -> tier' line on crystal tooltips, each with its own option.[5]
Infusion crystal tags
Each tier has its own infusion crystal item tag, and each tag lists that tier's crystal together with Master Infusion Crystal. So the Master Infusion Crystal is grouped under all five tier tags.[1][8][9][10][11][12]
Master Infusion Crystal
The Master Infusion Crystal requires a Supremium Infusion Crystal. If Mystical Agradditions is installed, its recipe also uses Insanium instead of Supremium.[1]

How the tiers are grouped
The mod defines one item tag per tier for infusion crystals: inferium, prudentium, tertium, imperium and supremium. Each tag holds that tier's crystal plus Master Infusion Crystal from Mystical Agriculture. So the master infusion crystal appears in every tier tag, next to the matching tiered crystal.[8][9][10][11][12]
Which Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals config options matter?

Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals keeps its config small. Per its project page, you can set the durability of each crystal, and you can choose whether the crystals have durability at all. Both live in config/matc-server.toml.[1][7]
The pack did not change any of them. Every value in this pack matches the mod default, so you get the stock behaviour.[7]
Durability switches
Each of the five crystal tiers has its own on/off option. The pack sets each of them to true.[1][7]
