What is Everything is Copper?
1 part
Everything is Copper adds copper tools to the pack. The two items the pack's quest book shows from it are Copper Pickaxe and Copper Sword. This pack ships version 1.21.1-2.4.5 of the mod, and it has been included since 0.3.0-beta or earlier.[1][2]
Where it sits in the quest book
Both items appear in the "Basic Tools" chapter, in the "Tools and Gear" group. It is chapter 27 of 70 in the book and holds 72 quests.[2]
The chapter is a reference sheet for comparing tools. Its opening quest, "Basic Tools!" quest, explains that the swords are sorted by base damage. It also says the quests for all the pickaxes and swords are optional, so you can skip them.[2]
- a quest in "Basic Tools" is the pickaxe entry, marked Tier: 3. It accepts the copper pickaxe, a bronze pickaxe or osmium pickaxe from Mekanism Tools, or a ferricore pickaxe from Just Dire Things. Any one of them completes it.[2]
- a quest in "Basic Tools" is the sword entry, listed at 5.8 Attack Damage. It asks for the copper sword.[2]
Both quests come straight after "Basic Tools!" quest. The chapter's own harvest tier notes describe Tier 3 as iron pickaxe level, which is where the copper pickaxe is ranked.[2]
Unverified Whether Everything is Copper is used on the ATM Star path is not shown by the sources here. Check the quest book for that.
How do you get started with Everything is Copper?
5 parts
This mod is all about copper, so your first goal is simple: turn copper into a set of tools and armor. Here is the order I'd go in, and why.[3]
Step one: the Copper Pickaxe
Start with the Copper Pickaxe. The quest book lists it as Tier 3, and the pack's Harvest Tier 3 quest says that is Iron Pickaxe level, which mines most ores like Diamond, Emerald and Gold. That makes it a solid early upgrade.[2]

It has its own quest, a quest in "Basic Tools", in the Basic Tools chapter (group Tools and Gear, chapter 27 of 70). That quest also accepts a few other pickaxes, so it isn't copper-only.[2]
Step two: the Copper Sword
Next comes the Copper Sword. The quest book gives it 5.8 attack damage, which sits between the stone sword (5) and the iron sword (6). It is covered by a quest in "Basic Tools", in the same chapter as the pickaxe.[2]

The rest of the tool set has recipes too: Copper Axe, Copper Shovel, Copper Hoe and Copper Shears.[3]
Step three: Copper Armor
Then armor up. The quest book has a Copper Armor quest, "Copper Armor" quest, in the Basic Armor chapter (chapter 26 of 70, same group). Its text is simply: "Finally Copper has a real use!"[4]

Step four: lighting and building
Once you're kitted out, the building pieces are worth a look. Copper Lantern and Copper Soul Lantern are good first picks for lighting your base.[3]

This pack also has a casting recipe for the lantern, and it is marked as changed by the pack. It uses a torch and 80 units of molten copper. The soul lantern has a matching casting recipe that uses a soul torch and 80 units of molten copper.[3]

Some recipes give you a lot per craft: Copper Bars, Copper Ladder and Copper Rail each make 16. You can also craft Copper Hopper, Copper Anvil, Copper Chain and Copper Pressure Plate.[3]
Step five: weathering and waxing
The mod has exposed, oxidized and waxed versions of many of its blocks, such as the anvil, bars, chain, hopper and lantern. A waxed version is made with a shapeless recipe from the plain item plus a waxing item. The mod also adds a Weathering Station with its own crafting recipe.[3][5]

How does Everything is Copper work?
4 parts
The sources for this pack show no power, fluid or multiblock systems for Everything is Copper. What they do show is copper blocks aging through stages, waxing to stop that, a Weathering Station, and a few ways the pack changes how the items are obtained. The mod's own guide isn't available, so this section sticks to what the language file, the recipe dump and the pack's scripts confirm.[3][5][6]
Oxidation stages and waxing
Many of the mod's blocks come in vanilla-style copper stages. The language file lists exposed and oxidized versions of the Copper Hopper, Copper Rail, Copper Ladder, Copper Bars and Copper Lantern. Doors, trapdoors, grates, bulbs, cauldrons and chiseled copper get the same treatment, and weathered versions appear for blocks such as the anvil, chiseled copper and bars.[5]
The anvil has an extra layer. Besides the stage names, the Copper Anvil has chipped and damaged versions at every stage, so one anvil can be both weathered and damaged.[5]
The stages also have waxed versions. Waxing is a plain shapeless crafting recipe: you combine the block with any item from the waxing items tag and get the waxed version, for example the Waxed Copper Anvil. The pack's recipe dump counts 37 shapeless recipes of this kind. The sources don't list what is in the waxing items tag.[3][5]

The hopper, rail, ladder and lanterns are waxed with the same kind of recipe.
Waxed cauldrons exist for the water, lava and powder snow variants, and the language file also shows plain copper cauldrons filled with water and lava.[5]
The Weathering Station
The Weathering Station is crafted from a composter and an item from the same waxing items tag used for waxing.[3]

Pack changes to lanterns
The mod's own lantern recipes use a torch and copper nuggets. The pack adds a second way to make both lanterns through Productive Metalworks block casting: a torch plus 80× molten copper makes a Copper Lantern, and a soul torch plus 80× molten copper makes a Copper Soul Lantern. The dump marks both casting recipes as changed by the pack.[3]

Salvaging copper gear
The pack's own script adds Silent Gear salvaging recipes for Everything is Copper gear, so you can break old copper tools and armor back down into materials. These are the results the script gives:[6]
- Copper Axe: 3 copper ingots and 2 sticks.[6]
- Copper Hoe: 2 copper ingots and 2 sticks.[6]
- Copper Helmet: 5 copper ingots.[6]
- Copper Chestplate: 8 copper ingots.[6]
- Copper Boots: 4 copper ingots.[6]
The same script also covers the copper pickaxe, shovel, sword, leggings and horse armor. The horse armor returns 6 copper ingots and 1 leather.[6]
How do you progress through Everything is Copper?
6 parts
Copper gear shows up in two chapters of the pack's quest book, both in the "Tools and Gear" group: "Basic Tools" (chapter 27 of 70) and "Basic Armor" (chapter 26 of 70). Here is how each step looks, with the in-pack recipes.[2][4]
Tools: harvest tier 3
The a quest in "Basic Tools" quest for the Copper Pickaxe is labelled "Tier: 3" and comes after the "Basic Tools!" quest. It also accepts a Mekanism Tools bronze pickaxe, an osmium pickaxe or a Just Dire Things ferricore pickaxe, so any of those completes it.[2]
The book describes Tier 3 as Iron Pickaxe level, enough to mine most ores like Diamond, Emerald and Gold. The "Harvest Tier 3" quest asks for a diamond. The chapter also says the pickaxe and sword quests are optional.[2]

The Copper Sword has its own quest, a quest in "Basic Tools", listed at 5.8 Attack Damage. The book sorts swords by base damage, so that puts it above the stone sword (5) and below the iron sword (6).[2]

Armor
The "Copper Armor" quest quest asks for the full set: Copper Helmet, Copper Chestplate, Copper Leggings and Copper Boots. Its book text says "Finally Copper has a real use!"[4]
The book lists the set at 13. For comparison, the Chainmail Armor quest shows 12 and the iron armor quest shows 15, so copper sits between them.[4]

How does Everything is Copper work with other mods?
2 parts
Everything is Copper has two links to other mods in this pack: what happens when you melt its gear down, and where its tools show up in the quest book.[2][3]
Melting copper gear into nuggets
You can smelt the mod's copper tools and armor, including the horse armor and the shears, into a Copper Nugget. There is a furnace recipe and a blast furnace recipe. The pack's recipe dump marks both as changed by the pack, so don't assume they match the mod's own defaults.[3]

In the quest book
The mod's tools appear in the "Basic Tools" chapter. It sits in the "Tools and Gear" group and is chapter 27 of 70 in the book. The chapter is a reference for comparing tools from many mods, and all the pickaxe and sword quests in it are optional. Each one comes right after the chapter's first quest, "Basic Tools!" quest.[2]
- a quest in "Basic Tools" is the copper sword entry, listed at 5.8 attack damage. The chapter says its swords are sorted by base damage.[2]
- a quest in "Basic Tools" is the Tier: 3 pickaxe entry. It accepts Copper Pickaxe or any one of three pickaxes from other mods: Bronze Pickaxe, Osmium Pickaxe or Ferricore Pickaxe. So the copper pickaxe sits at the same tier as those.[2]
The chapter has 72 quests, and the text of 26 of them isn't available here. If you're looking for other copper gear in it, check the quest book itself.[2]
Which All the Mons quests use Everything is Copper?
2 parts
This mod shows up in two neighbouring chapters of the quest book, both in the "Tools and Gear" group. Basic Armor is chapter 26 of 70 and Basic Tools is chapter 27 of 70. Both are reference-style chapters, so you'll mostly be checking where copper gear sits compared with everything else.[2][4]
Basic Armor
The chapter opens with "Basic Armor" quest, which asks for a smithing table and explains armor points and armor trims. The mod's entry is "Copper Armor" quest. It asks you to have the full set: Copper Helmet, Copper Chestplate, Copper Leggings and Copper Boots. The quest is labeled 13, and its text says "Finally Copper has a real use!"[4]
The chapter's quest data doesn't list prerequisites for the Copper Armor quest, so I can't tell you which quest unlocks it.[4]
Basic Tools
This chapter starts with "Basic Tools!" quest, which asks for a stick. Every other quest here comes after it. The chapter explains that swords are sorted by base damage and pickaxes by tier, and that the pickaxe and sword quests are all optional.[2]
- a quest in "Basic Tools" asks for the Copper Sword and is labeled 5.8 Attack Damage.[2]
- a quest in "Basic Tools" is labeled Tier: 3 and accepts the Copper Pickaxe. It also accepts a bronze, osmium or Ferricore pickaxe, so any one of those completes it.[2]
Tier 3 is the iron pickaxe level, according to the chapter's Harvest Tier 3 quest ("Harvest Tier 3" quest), so that's where the copper pickaxe sits among the pickaxes.[2]
